caramelized onion bacon sandwich london fog iced americano
Charlize V.

No complaints about this spot besides maybe it's only street parking. Ample seating, delicious food and drink, and a little shop you can browse while waiting in line. The sandwich was great, and I was iffy before ordering just because I don't like English muffin too much but the toast on it made it good. I had a hot london fog but would love to try the coffee next time. Seems pretty dog friendly, or that's just the Oceanside public acting like the Oceanside public haha.

Almost forgot to take a picture, but here's the Gold Coast iced coffee

Had the Gold Coast iced coffee the other day with my daughter, I may have found another outstanding coffee house here. This place is not only really nice to just come and hang out, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but the coffee is really good! So many choices and they use good ingredients, I will definitely be here again and again.

Wow! I have been to the other locations in north and South Park and this location in Oceanside is immensely better. The size is larger with high ceilings and amazing lighting. There are several tables with outlets available to charge your devices. Lots of street parking nearby and ordering is really fast. I thoroughly enjoyed the vanilla cronut (the frosting had real vanilla bean!) and the salted caramel latte had a balanced flavor of espresso and caramel. My new favorite in north county!

This place is adorable! When I walked in, the people were very friendly and were able to recommend a drink & food. Both were absolutely delicious. There's different areas you can sit (patio out back, inside, front & side of building. Everything is open & airy.

Gorgeous coffee shop with a huge variety of plants, home decor, jewelry, and scents for sale. Absolutely loved the Santal and Palo Santo scents.

Drinks were not bad. Nothing killer. Service was super quick, nice water station, reusable plates and cups etc. Setting was nice with plenty of spots to catch up with friends, study, work etc. outlets inside as well. Clean bathrooms

Great coffee shop! Really tasty vanilla latte (I tried it both iced and hot, hot was technically better but it was barely a competition) and the gals behind the counter provide friendly service. I love the design of the space, lots of natural light and plants, not too cramped and lots of seating and tables inside and outside to sit and do whatever. They played REALLY good music while I was there (The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys, TV Girl, the strokes, queen) which was unexpected and very fun. It's definitely a nice spot to do work, however it's not a library, so if you get distracted easily by noise I recommend bringing headphones as groups of all types were hanging out. It's a nice spot to sit with a friend or draw/read. Wifi is strong, bathrooms are tidy, but parking nearby is a little hard so be prepared to walk over unless you get lucky. And they have a cute gift shop with all kinds of temptations. I plan to come back to try their mimosas. Overall very great spot!

Came here with my partner we ordered a breakfast burrito, granola bowl, lavender honey matcha and a cortado. The granola bowl looked great my partner really liked it and she liked the Cortado so that was solid. My order didn't work out to well. The burrito was pretty bland, and I was given a lavender honey latte instead of matcha so I had to get my drink re-made. It was ok not the best matcha I've had but it was good. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, it's a quiet neighborhood so its nice to sit outside and enjoy the day. If I were to come back I'd definitely get the granola bowl over the breakfast burrito. Maybe try a different drink as well.

I enjoyed this spot, it definitely gets busy. Met a friend for breakfast and it's nice place to just chill for a bit, eat, and chat. I'd come back to try their other coffees. The cold brew wasn't as strong as others I've had in the past but it is definitely flavorful 2 drinks and 1 bagel for $22 is a bit up there but it is what it is for the "vibe" Gluten free bagel and cream cheese definitely tasted very yummy. Place was on the cleaner side but I went pretty early in the morning and the bathroom felt grimy. Not messy but just dirty which I don't love. The chef comes out and brings you the food which is kind. I'd come back and overall had a decent experience

This place is located near other businesses and only has street parking. It's spacious and has a relaxing vibe with many places to sit. The workers could have been a little more welcoming, but maybe they had a long day. The ceremonial matcha was okay, but needed more matcha and less milk.

Staffs were friendly when we ordered our drinks. Lots of seating options & love their natural lighting. It's a good cafe to read books / work. No parking lot. Street parking.

Very spacious

I wish I live close by so I come here every week for sure. They have cute decorations:plants and merchandise. Also the staffs were very good and friendly. Food was good and I especially loved the matcha chia pudding... so good. We sat outside with dogs and I love being there.

Iced Strawberry creme matcha latte

Parking a little tough to find since it's located near Coast Highway and a neighborhood. The service was quick and friendly when we ordered our drinks. I would come here again to try their coffee drink or any seasonal drinks they offer. This coffee shop has plenty of seats with outlets, so you can study. They offer alcoholic drinks like espresso martinis which is unique and the music they played today was house, so you can also come to grab a bite get some drinks, and hangout with friends.

Where are their bagels from?

How is the parking situation?

There's plenty of street parking around, so while you may have to walk a block further when it's busy, there are still plenty of spots.

Hi, is this a work friendly cafe for remote workers? Thanks(:

Yes! It is very work friendly lotta of space inside and a nice patio too!

Is this spot the same as Communal Coffee on University?

Yes, they have 3 locations in San Diego county.

Does this place take reservations or is it first come, first serve?

It's a coffee shop, no reservations

Does anyone know if their Salted Caramel Syrup is dairy free? The barista could not confirm on our last trip there, no one answers the phone and whoever runs their IG page keeps leaving me on read haha!

TL/DR: if you're asking about the pre bottled syrups used in coffee drinks like Torani, you're fine. If they had dairy, they'd have to be refrigerated and they aren't. But if you're asking about like actual caramel drizzled into a drink, it probably… Read more

Berry Crunch French Toast, same thing. Our friends ate the Stratford Scramble and it was just 3/5 as well. PRICE - considering the food is nothing special, I wondered why we are paying a higher price for it. Definitely overpriced unless you really care about eating at the harbor, looking at the water through some dirty glass. SERVICE - their current set up is to take your order, take your money, and give you a number. That would fine and dandy except that the girl who was taking orders ALSO had to play bartender. The line seems to be so long and take forever because she'll take your order, then spend 5 minutes making drinks or doing something else before taking the next person's order. Maybe this is their way to handle the traffic because tables are full and maybe they are down staff members. Either way, I was disappointed at the speed/organization. HEALTH CODE VIOLATION - the cherry on top to all of this happened since I had so much time in line to observe. The girl taking orders would take an order, process payment by touching the POS system, then scoop ice into a glass for the drink she was making (this time was a Bloody Mary), handle bottles of alcohol, and FINALLY, touch the bacon and garnishes for the Bloody Mary all without washing her hands. No doubt there have been many hands that have touched all of those things and contaminated them, all for her to touch food at the end without washing her hands. The POS system is also about 10 feet away from the bathroom so all of this adds up to something that seems risky and needs to be fixed.

What shined was his care and attention to detail, especially when it came to accommodating my allergies. He made a point to ask questions before taking action, ensuring that everything was handled safely and thoughtfully. I appreciated how realistic and transparent he was about what could and couldn't be modified, which helped build trust and made me feel more at ease navigating the menu. His professionalism and awareness were evident throughout. Drea also made a strong impression with her calm and reassuring presence. She approached everything with a sense of patience and understanding, and I felt genuinely understood and validated in my requests and concerns. Her demeanor helped create a relaxed environment, which is especially meaningful when dealing with dietary needs. She balanced efficiency with empathy in a way that felt very natural. As for the food and drinks, my friend really enjoyed the Buccaneer smoothie and even went back for a second cup of drip coffee, which they said was smooth and satisfying. I had an avocado, egg, and tortilla burrito, and I especially liked the house brown sugar coffee, which had a rich, slightly sweet flavor that came through as a highlight for me. Overall, while navigating modifications can sometimes be challenging, the staff made the experience feel manageable and supportive. A total time of 3 hours for dinner and the restaurant itself was flashing lights to indicate it was closing. You would think that would mean they hurried to get us settled out. Nope, the employees were just talking to each other and starting to close down...and apparently forgot about us. Some of our party started to leave because it was way too long to wait. The food was overall fine. Some plates were good and some were lackluster. The decor was sophisticated and obviously going for an upscale vibe.
