    Lavender latte w/oat milk
    Kiyomi F.

Came here for the first time to try out their lavender latte and was not disappointed! The latte was creamy and delicious without being to sweet & the lavender flavor is perfect! Not super strong or artificial tasting. The service was great, super friendly baristas. The inside is quite spacious, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Major plus for me is it is dog friendly! Brought my little pup with me and they gave us a free dog treat, so cute! Will definitely be back!

My friend and I came in 39 minutes close. I've been wanting to try this spot so I'm happy I got in before they closed. The girl was super nice, not rude or annoyed by the time. Matcha was super creamy and delicious. They heat up their pastries when you order !!!! Which seems very uncommon for the area for some reason. So definitely getting my business with that alone. This is the type of cafe id spend a few hours getting work done in. Especially their back patio seating. It gets the perfect amount of sun and it's just a really peaceful spot. Will be coming back

The best coffee place that we have found in this area. This is the second time we have been back to it. We usually get a regular latte and cappuccino. The regular size is 16 ounces which is equivalent to a Starbucks grande. The base coffee itself has lots of flavor - deep, nutty notes, very smooth and not bitter at all. We haven't tried any of their flavored coffees, but the original one is just so super good on its own! They have oat milk for those who cannot have dairy. We also got an array of pastries to try. The raspberry "pop tart" is amazing. It's like a flaky turnover with real raspberry jam filling. The cheese danish is also really good. It is a little sweet, like a cream cheese filling. Obviously made with layers of laminated pastry. The ham and cheese croissant was good, but all of the filling shifted to one side. We also loved the cinnamon roll. It is baked to about a medium consistency. Not too gooey, not too dry. Pastries were approximately $5 each. We got a bag of their whole bean coffee to make at the place which we were staying. The guy working there was very friendly and nice. The shop itself is small, but well organized and clean. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area!

Such an easy cafe to sit and relax or have a quick bite to eat with friends/family. Conveniently located off Mission Ave right before PCH. Easy to grab coffee and have a walk to the beach too. I absolutely loved the relax vibe the cafe and staff gave. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Our barista gave great suggestions too. We quickly put in our order and only had to wait a few minutes to receive everything. They were so fast, especially on a Sunday. Our lattes were 10/10. I loved my Mexican mocha and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his salted caramel latte, as I was lucky to get a sip or two. We also loved the everything bagel. A bagel, cheese, egg, and bacon. What more could you need?

Ignite Coffee Company is the kind of place that instantly feels like home. This locally owned café (founded by an Oside native) offers more than just great coffee -- it delivers a full sensory experience. The aroma of freshly roasted beans hits you the moment you walk in, setting the tone for a perfect start to your day. The ambiance is effortlessly inviting. Their lovely outdoor courtyard, creates the kind of warmth to the space that encourages you to slow down and savor the moment. It's stylish without being pretentious, and the natural light makes it a great spot to read, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet break. Service here is top-notch and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. They're happy to customize drinks and offer recommendations. It's clear they care deeply about both the craft and the community. Bonus points for their in-house roasted beans ; the Honduras and Ethiopia varieties are especially popular ;) If you're in Oceanside and looking for a coffee spot that blends quality, charm, and heart, Ignite Coffee Company is absolutely worth the visit. It's the kind of place that turns first-timers into loyal regulars. One small note though - I'd love if their in-house syrups are a bit more ingredient-forward versus more sugar-forward. Our go-to source for whole-bean espresso for our home machine--consistently creamy, never bitter, and the five-pound bags are an excellent value. We also love stopping in for a coffee to go whenever we're in town.

    - tucked along a walkable street with plenty of parking - lots of seating! perfect for studying/working - unique seasonal flavors! - i tried the cookie butter latte, the flavor was lighter than i would've liked but i loved that it wasn't too sweet and the smooth espresso really shined

I'm testing a new theory...and it's that anyone who is willing to invest in a Slayer espresso machine, they care a lot about their beans. So stop one on my Slayer-theory tour is Ignite Coffee roasters. And so far, my theory is testing true. Waiting in the queue, I can see that they roast Ethiopian beans, my particular favorite. After talking to the barista though it sounds like their house roast is a blend of Ethiopian and Honduran roasts. After trying the espresso, you can taste the bright fruitiness of the Ethiopian bean, and their roast was done with care. Very clean aftertaste and one that leaves you with almost nothing on the palette. Really though I'm splitting hairs on what is fundamentally a pretty perfect pull of espresso. If you're looking for a little pick-me-up, you can't miss with Ignite.

I stopped by for a quick coffee before hitting the road back home it was a Monday 30 min before closing and there was plenty of street parking around and the place understandably empty. I ordered one brown sugar and one caramel brûle latte both iced. They have ample amount of seating inside and outside. Cute little mural on the wall. The employee possibly owner was so kind and we were able to chat about the passionfruit in the back. Now I believe the brown sugar coffee has some cinnamon and some other stuff in there but was still enjoyable ( im not a big fan of cinnamon) and the caramel brûle was delicious. The drinks are on the sweeter side so if you want something a little less I would specify that when you order. Looks like a cool local hangout spot.

Seriously can't believe we pass by this cafecito spot daily and hadn't been there. So glad we found this hidden gem in the beautiful city of Oceanside! Great environment, great service and great coffee! Thank you Tyler for hosting us! - The Cafecito Couple

When it comes to coffee shops in Downtown Oceanside, there are so many to choose from. I feel that it is critical to support the smallest, family-owned businesses as much as possible in the city, and this is what leads me to reviewing Ignite Coffee. Ignite Coffee Co is owned by locals and operated by locals. This traits are what makes the heart of Oceanside businesses. Located on Mission Ave. near the downtown area, Ignite Coffee is right on a main road just blocks away from Oceanside Beach. This makes it a great place to "people-watch" from their open-window seating area. Parking can also often be tricky in the downtown area, luckily there's street parking right in front and around the corner from this café. The interior is very simple & straightforward with ample seating for couples or small groups. They recently opened up patio seating to the rear as well and this adds to their versatility. Ignite Coffee also showcases pastries from other nearby small businesses. This is yet another reason to support this small café, as they are the epitome of best local business practices. Their menu is quite simplistic, featuring all of the basic coffee flavors and also boasting seasonal specials. Service is fast, friendly and even neighborly and they keep everything clean. I personally love getting an "extra dirty" chai latté. All in all, I love Ignite Coffee Co for what they stand for in the Oceanside business community.

I absolutely loved how pet-friendly the place was. They also had a super charming grab-and-go section with goodies and gifts. I ended up picking up a couple of cowboy shot glasses and some chocolates to gift. The strawberry matcha latte was delicious and definitely worth trying. Also yes…read more If you're the type of person who shows up with a MacBook, orders matcha, and appreciates minimalist coffee-shop aesthetics, you'll fit right in here. The hours are great, the space is clean and inviting, and the matcha was okay. One thing I found a little odd: they bring your food to the table, but not your drink. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. I came here twice in a row because I couldn't stop thinking about the lemon basil burrata toast. The first time was incredible which loaded with toppings and full of flavor. The second time looked noticeably lighter on the burrata and basil. Maybe it was an off day, because I know how good it can be. Overall, I'd still come back. The matcha was good enough, the toast was good enough to bring me back immediately, and despite the slightly curated "everyone here is working on a startup" vibe, the food was worth the visit.

The…read moredrive made me sleepy, so on my way back, since now the traffic was heavier, I looked for some place to grab a coffee. Revolution came up and was close. Right off of Vista Way in Oceanside. Scored a spot right in front...must've been kismit! They have the regular coffees but also some signature drinks as well. But it looks like there's some seasonal coffees too. Friendly hello when it was my turn. Me: So what do you think, butterscotch or pistachio? He: I would say pistachio because sometimes the butterscotch is too sweet for some. Pistachio it was! So definitely inquire about the seasonal coffees because this was delicious! Great flavor and dark chocolate shavings on top. This helped keep me awake on my long drive home! Love that they're local! Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish. I now have a great spot to stop at if in the area and in need. They have great outdoor seating that's dog friendly, and a nice dining area.

The coconut flavor was absolutely delicious, but personally, I wanted a stronger matcha presence - it leaned a little too milky for my taste. If you're more into creamy tropical drinks, though, you'll probably love it. The surprise winner for me was the Campfire Latte. I'm usually not a mocha girl, but this one totally changed my mind. I ordered it half sweet, and it was perfect - smooth and balanced! The spiced dark chocolate paired so well with the marshmallow cold foam and graham cracker topping, and I especially loved the warm spices throughout the drink. Next time, I could definitely see myself ordering a cold brew with that marshmallow foam. Not pictured: the ham & cheese croissant, which is a must-order every single time I'm here. Flaky, savory, and consistently one of my favorites. Good seasonal specials and great food as always!
