Such an easy cafe to sit and relax or have a quick bite to eat with friends/family. Conveniently located off Mission Ave right before PCH. Easy to grab coffee and have a walk to the beach too. I absolutely loved the relax vibe the cafe and staff gave. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Our barista gave great suggestions too. We quickly put in our order and only had to wait a few minutes to receive everything. They were so fast, especially on a Sunday. Our lattes were 10/10. I loved my Mexican mocha and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his salted caramel latte, as I was lucky to get a sip or two. We also loved the everything bagel. A bagel, cheese, egg, and bacon. What more could you need?

Ignite Coffee Company is the kind of place that instantly feels like home. This locally owned café (founded by an Oside native) offers more than just great coffee -- it delivers a full sensory experience. The aroma of freshly roasted beans hits you the moment you walk in, setting the tone for a perfect start to your day. The ambiance is effortlessly inviting. Their lovely outdoor courtyard, creates the kind of warmth to the space that encourages you to slow down and savor the moment. It's stylish without being pretentious, and the natural light makes it a great spot to read, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet break. Service here is top-notch and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. They're happy to customize drinks and offer recommendations. It's clear they care deeply about both the craft and the community. Bonus points for their in-house roasted beans ; the Honduras and Ethiopia varieties are especially popular ;) If you're in Oceanside and looking for a coffee spot that blends quality, charm, and heart, Ignite Coffee Company is absolutely worth the visit. It's the kind of place that turns first-timers into loyal regulars. One small note though - I'd love if their in-house syrups are a bit more ingredient-forward versus more sugar-forward. Our go-to source for whole-bean espresso for our home machine--consistently creamy, never bitter, and the five-pound bags are an excellent value. We also love stopping in for a coffee to go whenever we're in town.

    - tucked along a walkable street with plenty of parking - lots of seating! perfect for studying/working - unique seasonal flavors! - i tried the cookie butter latte, the flavor was lighter than i would've liked but i loved that it wasn't too sweet and the smooth espresso really shined

I'm testing a new theory...and it's that anyone who is willing to invest in a Slayer espresso machine, they care a lot about their beans. So stop one on my Slayer-theory tour is Ignite Coffee roasters. And so far, my theory is testing true. Waiting in the queue, I can see that they roast Ethiopian beans, my particular favorite. After talking to the barista though it sounds like their house roast is a blend of Ethiopian and Honduran roasts. After trying the espresso, you can taste the bright fruitiness of the Ethiopian bean, and their roast was done with care. Very clean aftertaste and one that leaves you with almost nothing on the palette. Really though I'm splitting hairs on what is fundamentally a pretty perfect pull of espresso. If you're looking for a little pick-me-up, you can't miss with Ignite.

I stopped by for a quick coffee before hitting the road back home it was a Monday 30 min before closing and there was plenty of street parking around and the place understandably empty. I ordered one brown sugar and one caramel brûle latte both iced. They have ample amount of seating inside and outside. Cute little mural on the wall. The employee possibly owner was so kind and we were able to chat about the passionfruit in the back. Now I believe the brown sugar coffee has some cinnamon and some other stuff in there but was still enjoyable ( im not a big fan of cinnamon) and the caramel brûle was delicious. The drinks are on the sweeter side so if you want something a little less I would specify that when you order. Looks like a cool local hangout spot.

When it comes to coffee shops in Downtown Oceanside, there are so many to choose from. I feel that it is critical to support the smallest, family-owned businesses as much as possible in the city, and this is what leads me to reviewing Ignite Coffee. Ignite Coffee Co is owned by locals and operated by locals. This traits are what makes the heart of Oceanside businesses. Located on Mission Ave. near the downtown area, Ignite Coffee is right on a main road just blocks away from Oceanside Beach. This makes it a great place to "people-watch" from their open-window seating area. Parking can also often be tricky in the downtown area, luckily there's street parking right in front and around the corner from this café. The interior is very simple & straightforward with ample seating for couples or small groups. They recently opened up patio seating to the rear as well and this adds to their versatility. Ignite Coffee also showcases pastries from other nearby small businesses. This is yet another reason to support this small café, as they are the epitome of best local business practices. Their menu is quite simplistic, featuring all of the basic coffee flavors and also boasting seasonal specials. Service is fast, friendly and even neighborly and they keep everything clean. I personally love getting an "extra dirty" chai latté. All in all, I love Ignite Coffee Co for what they stand for in the Oceanside business community.

This place is always amazing. It's decently priced coffee and it tastes 10x better than anywhere else. I get the salted carmel latte everytime and its honestly the best coffee ive ever had. The place is clean and they have a cute outdoor area in the back with succulents. Cool place to check out! The staff are so friendly!

Love this spot for so many reasons! The kindness of not only the barista but also the owner who was roasting beans and answered all my curios questions. The perfect roll up window seating spot for people watching. The DELICIOUS house roasted espresso. I recommend the Mexican mocha with a dash of cayenne The back sitting area so beautifully decorated with succulents. The close proximity to the beach as well as the Thursday farmers market. I visited 9 coffee shops while here and this was the one I returned to!

My fiancée & I had seen Parlor Doughnuts numerous times after the Oceanside Sunset Market. & every single 1 of those times, we were already too full from grazing at all the food stands by then to give it a try. So on a Saturday afternoon, when we just happened to be nearby, we popped in for some impulse buy doughnuts. With a staggering variety of delicious looking toppings/ flavors, the possibilities looked enticingly intriguing. Staff behind the counter was friendly attentive, & helpful. Although there are some savory options available, which seemed to me like pizza toppings on doughnuts, we stuck with sweet: maple bacon & bourbon caramel. Tried & true flavor combinations, both. But the dough, whoa. For starters, the 2 doughnuts we got didn't have holes. That actually makes a difference in how the doughnut cooks. Secondly, the dough ate more like bread dough than a doughnut. Doughnuts have a hole for a reason. You see, it's physics, son. When you consider how thermodynamics affects an oblate spheroid vs. a toroidal sphere, it becomes evident that a doughnut without a hole will not cook evenly throughout inside. In fact, this was specifically proven on MasterChef Canada Season 8, Episode 8 during a doughnut pressure test. In that episode, Andres forgot to put holes in his doughnuts & they were undercooked in the center. Hey, I did start this review with admitting I'm a nerd who watches too many cooking competition shows. Uniform doneness aside, there was also the breadiness. If I'd been told these doughnuts were some kind of new take on Pan Dulce, maybe I would've liked them more. But given the expectation of a doughnut, what I tried at Parlor Doughnuts just wasn't it. The staff was great, & the toppings were fine. But with the word "dough" literally in the name of the product, to come up short there leaves something to be desired.

Sunday morning at 9:15am, the drive thru seemed to move much faster than for those dining in. Our food was delicious. The breakfast sandwich hits home, and the ham and cheese croissant is always crisp and buttery. The pistachio croissant is another favorite, it never disappoints. Our drinks were a different story. I waited 30 minutes for my cortado - which tasted absolutely horrible. It was burnt and awful, I couldn't bring myself to finish it when I tried.. The mint iced coffee was off too (we've had better at other locations).. Other people (before and after us) were growing furious and impatient. While the person at the register was friendly and kind - the speed and turn around time for drinks was lacking. There seemed to be no sense of urgency even as the line inside grew longer and longer - both the line to order and the line at the pickup counter. A family of four was seated at a table when we walked in. When we left, I noticed someone from that particular table walking up to the pickup counter still waiting for their drink... If I waited 30 minutes for my drink, how much longer did they wait? Yikes! It might've been an off day, who knows, but it was pretty terrible. All in all, while the food is good and the location is convenient - I will probably stick to ordering items on the menu vs. ordering something like a cortado for any future visits.
