    Biscoff Cheesecake

This review is specifically regarding Immersion Express's Biscoff Cheesecake. Immersion Express offers a quick pick me up in the form of espresso. Whether you are a fan of lattes, cold brews, mochas, drip coffee, or even matcha- THIS JOINT HAS YOU COVERED! With my late evening visit, I bypassed the caffein and went straight for the sweets. My mouth watered as I viewed the assorted cheesecakes, baked goods, and cookies. The Biscoff cheesecake absolutely hit the spot. This was thick, creamy, moist, and a lot more filling than I anticipated the small box to be. Each serving will set you back $12 but the happiness you get from consuming this purchase makes it all worth it. 4 stars. I absolutely wanna try the banana pudding next.

Ordered 2 items from here: 1) pistachio cheesecake dessert - tasty and moist, enjoyed it 2) tiramisu - this was delicious and you can't go wrong with it

Was curious why there was a line at this craft coffee shop at the entrance of the Windmill Food Hall. After lunch, waited in line to order the Matcha Cream on Top and Nutella Cheesecake. The barista was friendly and very dedicated to expertly prepare the drink. She started by preparing a cup of ice and layer of vanilla bean syrup on the bottom. She then carefully measured a fixed amount of matcha powder through a sieve, poured in hot water and mixed thoroughly. This mixture was poured into the cup, followed by some milk, and topped with a thick cream. The finishing touch was sprinkling some more fine matcha dust on top. I recommend mixing well once you receive the drink. It was creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and had a very strong matcha flavor. It was tasty and I finished the refreshing drink very quickly.

I've been chasing this matcha high ever since! Other places haven't done justice so far. Recently tried the Strawberry Matcha during my lunch at Windmill. The employee whisked the matcha and took her time as she made my drink as she should and I'm grateful; good things take time. When she was finished she told me to mix it very well. Ugh it was so good!! Perfect amount of matcha and green color. Now all others I've had at other places just feels like not enough matcha or took much milk. This place made it perfectly. Nice amount of strawberry too. The lady working was nice and friendly.

    Vanilla latte and Orange Latte

Drinks were chefs kiss. The orange latte was amazing and the drinks aren't too sweet. It's located in a food court so there's so many food options too. Definitely give it a shot! I'm so exited to come back and try different drinks

First of all this place is inside a food hall so there isn't always sitting keep that in mind. Overall it's a nice place but my coffee was not good. It had like a bitter taste even though I had asked for syrup. The girl in the front was super nice so the customer service was good. I asked if they make the bakery items and she said no they buy it and heat it up so that kind of sucks. I am all for supporting small businesses but this one was ok.

We stopped by Immersion, a small corner coffee spot inside the Windmill building in Carlsbad, and had a really nice experience overall. Carol, the cashier/barista, was super friendly and welcoming. She was open to suggestions and really took the time to help us decide on our drinks. I usually go for matcha, but after seeing reviews about their orange latte, I was curious to try something different. Since I wasn't feeling well and still getting over a cold, I stuck with matcha, and Carol suggested trying it with orange--kind of like their orange latte but with matcha instead. The matcha tasted high quality (I believe it's ceremonial grade), and the orange flavor was good, but a bit too sweet for my taste. I still prefer my usual strawberry matcha, but I'm glad I tried something new. My friend ordered the orange latte, which was also on the sweeter side for her. What really stood out was Carol's service--she kindly offered to remake both of our drinks, which we really appreciated. She was so accommodating and genuinely nice that we didn't want to trouble her. Overall, the drinks are delicious and high quality--just ask for less sweetness if that's your preference. I'd definitely come back again for the service and to try more items on the menu!

Right when you walk into the food court you can't help but want dessert before your main dish! The person working the floor was wearing multiple hats was so nice and friendly. Loved her energy even though she was rocking it by herself! Felt bad there was a line of people, but I give her mucho kudos for being a swan in the water. I had the matcha strawberry drink and I really enjoyed it. Some places the matcha drinks can have that heavy earthy taste that I'm not a fan of, but this drink I was impressed with the balance. Strawberry wasn't overly sweet either. We grabbed carrot cake, key lime pie, pistachio cheesecake and couple of cookies. I personally liked the pistachio cheesecake and recommend if you're a pistachio fan! The cream cheese in the dessert was whipped liked, so it wasn't a heavy dense cheesecake. Overall I had a very enjoyable experience

i got the matcha cream top and it was so delicious! not overly sweet and the matcha balanced it out really well. also appreciated the fact that the barista was measuring everything out with a digital scale. i should have taken a picture before i drank it but you can still see how green it is. i would come back for the matcha and to try all those box cakes!

Good taste to the matcha with cream. Small cup considering the $7 price. Good service, in general.

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

The first time we went, we ordered Cafe de la Olla and La Morena- both with oat milk and I asked them to double check the syrups did not contain dairy. I was told all was good so we enjoyed our lattes and our daughters shared a hibiscus refresher. On our second and third visit we ordered again, La Morena and one other latte. I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. So, I'm not sure if there is dairy in the syrup or if they accidentally used cow milk in our lattes. Too bad too, because the flavors were tasty. We also appreciated the donuts from Doughside Donuts. I'm just not sure we will be ordered coffee from here anymore. The entry is really cute and you automatically see the variety of plants. They sell some jewelry and plant/Mexican pastry merchandise. Service was friendly but parking is not so great, especially when they are busy. Street parking only and it can be slim, especially on street sweep days. Cute shop but be weary if staying away from dairy.
