Cute little coffee shop. We visit here 5x in a span of 2 1/2 weeks due to our Airbnb being close by. We tried a few different drinks, not sure if I remember them all but the Snickerdoodle latte, the Candy Orange mocha, the cardamom rose latte, a rose latte, the magic lemonade, and something else. All our drinks were ordered with oat milk and everything we ordered was vegan friendly (I asked!). Our family really enjoyed the grab and go pistachio chia pudding! All chia pudding is vegan friendly and they had several flavors. I would have purchased more at the time if they were just a tad cheaper. I will need to go back for more! They also had several pastries. There was only one vegan option that I recall- a vegan poppyseed muffin. I didn't get to try it on these visits but would like to soon! We had a mishap with one of our drinks and they kindly made it right, which goes a long way in our book and guarantees a return visit. Thank you for that. Our youngest daughter enjoyed playing with the little kitchen and toy trucks. There is limited seating inside but more picnic style bench seating outside. The coffee shop shares a space with the Pilates studio. We saw a few sessions in progress while getting our drinks. Service was usually quick and friendly. I ordered a lavender latte and it was just OK. 2nd visit I ordered the snicker doodle iced latte but then I saw a guy get a cute pink latte I asked what it was and the girls told me it was their seasonal strawberry shortcake latte. This is a local chain coffee shop that I've been going to since the beginning of summer regularly like once or twice a week. I really like their staycation latte and their chia seed puddings. However, Today I was really disappointed in the service when I went to redeem my reward right before they closed. I did ask Chris first if it's OK to order or was he closed. He said I could order but he was obviously not happy about it and I'm not sure why they charge a $1.50 for cold foam when it's a part of the seasonal drink then only to get my drink with not even a full layer of the cold foam. My wife, daughter and I had great coffee and breakfast at High Tide Coffee. Well, actually, I didn't technically have a coffee. I had a Chagacino, a mushroom espresso drink with milk, cinnamon, vanilla, monk fruit and raw cacao. Yum! My wife had the candy cane mocha (espresso, milk, cinnamon, vegan chocolate and orange syrup) and my daughter had the honey bee matcha (matcha, milk, honey, with salted brown sugar foam). All the drinks had great, complicated, smooth tastes. For food, we had the Avo Tomato and the Grated Egg Avo --- both inventive and nutritious variations of avocado toast that were very well prepared --- and tasted wonderful. We sat outside and the ambiance couldn't have been more chilled and friendly. The woman who served us behind the counter was very nice. And a special mention goes to the other customers of the cafe: they were all friendly too and made the cafe a nice place to visit and have breakfast at. I was delighted to hear we had a new High Tide Coffee location opening in Oceanside and that I would no longer have to drive to San Clemente when I had the craving. This location is as exceptional as their others and I love that it's inside Rising Co. (Co-op space for brands, events, coffee, etc). While parking is tight in their lot, it's quite easy to find street parking. They do have a few indoor tables, but their outdoor seating is cute with very shady umbrellas! The service here is exceptional as well as all of the baristas greet you and when a barista takes your order they are just very kind and ask all of the questions to make your order perfect. We barely ever have to wait for our coffee, we don't even have enough time to browse one of the stores as our coffees are usually ready. I recently had the iced lavender honey latte and my husband had the snickerdoodle latte. I will say that once I tried his snickerdoodle latte, I immediately regretted my order. Luckily, my iced lavender honey latte was still delicious and had a great balance between sweetness and coffee, so no regret was necessary. The snickerdoodle latte is very sweet but we both agree that it's completely worth it! They do offer seasonal drinks too and honestly those sound like fantastic options. went there today, it's a very cozy and nice space and the Mocha was average. I think they are known for their specialty coffee and tea drinks which looked tempting on the menu. . However they only have one person working the whole store. I didnt know when I ordered there were 6 orders in front of me. I ordered at 12:15pm , stood around.. all 3 or 4 tables inside were occupied and picked up my drink at 12:37pm. it was ridiculous.. as I wanted to relax and sit down for a few minutes while waiting for my car to be smogged . and instead. I was standing around watching in agony this poor girl meticulously create each drink.. Finally I got my mocha but had to leave, my car was ready. I want to be clear it wasn't the girl who worked the whole place by herself fault, but the manager who left just one person there. she thanked me for waiting . I suggest before you order, and like today, there is one person working the cafe, ask how many orders are in front of you. estimate 4 minutes per order. I didn't notice any food orders .. so factor that in if she's cooking too. Also I do not like the auto prompt tip when you pay by credit card.. this one takes the cake with a min programmed amount of 18%. $5.75 for a small mocha.. it's a very small cup, maybe holds 6-7 oz plus I did tip. read more

High Tide Coffee Co is no opened to the community and they offer a nice variance to the coffee scene in the area. High Tide Coffee Co is located within the RISING CO building complex just off of S Coast Hwy. So make sure you look for that signage. They've got a shared parking lot in the front and street parking available on both side streets. This is good for now, but it MAY pose an issue during busy hours. It's a good thing they are also on DoorDash and take pre-orders online & via call-in. The entire vibe is for their branding is cute and inviting. Their interior is very trendy-earthy and colorful. But one shortcoming is that they have minimal seating options inside. There are only 3 tables. Luckily, their exterior seating has more benches and group-seating options. Their service is fast, friendly, warm and inviting. I love their merchandising with the cute logos. Their menu consists of staple classics like: cold brew, espresso, americano, latté, macchiato, cortado, cappuccino, and mocha. They also have specialty options like: lavender honey, rose cardamom, snickerdoodle, candy orange mocha, chachaccino, matcha chaga, and moon milk. They also have a few teas and hot cocoa. For foods, they have some solid basics like: breakfast burrito, acai bowls, avocado toast, assorted pastries and granola & chia parfait. I especially appreciate that many of their pastries are vegan & gluten-free. I enjoyed my seasonal special drink, the Espresso Paloma and it was a tasty variant to the typical coffee drink. I also enjoyed my snickerdoodle latté. I'd like to make a small note to pet owners: Although there's a notice that they DO NOT ALLOW PETS (only service animals) - this is not strictly enforced : thank goodness. This time it's a new coffee shop, which is very exciting! I've been to High Tide in San Clemente before and their coffee is usually great. It's exciting to have a new roaster/café in town. Today I just sampled their brewed coffee and it was so tasty that I got a cup. The specialty drinks look really good though. I know I've had the snickerdoodle latte at previous locations. Absolutely loved our visit to High Tide Coffee! I got the matcha chaga and was so impressed ! The matcha was a deep, vibrant green, which is a good sign for all the matcha lovers out there, and the flavor was rich and strong. Plus, chaga mushroom has health benefits, so it felt like a win-win ! My sister tried the snickerdoodle latte, and even though I haven't been into espresso drinks lately, I had to admit this one was delicious. Came to High Tide Coffee today for their Grand Opening and it was wonderful. I typically frequent their location in San Clemente, but this location is fantastic too. It's unique because it shares a space with Rising Co (a retail surf shot and clothing store). I was so excited about this spot based on Tik ToK reviews but it was not my cup of tea :( don't get me wrong, the service was great! But I've been obsessed with matcha so I got the honey bee matcha but it wasn't sweet at all, which is my preference. I also got the berry Nutella toast and the bread was a little too hard on my opinion. It wasn't sweet enough for me but you might like it.
