I think I just found my new favorite local coffee shop! Now if they can just get some vegan pastries I'll be in heaven! They roast their own beans here and during the week M-F 7 am-4pm you can pick up your own tasty coffee. This little gem is hidden towards the back of a shopping center with plenty of parking. I can't tell you how excited I am to have good coffee that isn't Starbucks! The prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. I also got to try a sample of their cafe de La olla which is pretty delicious too! I want this place to stay here FOREVER! We need small businesses like this in the area. Thanks for the delicious coffee!!! I'll be back!

What a hidden gem! Stopped by Coatl this morning and we were pleasantly surprised. They're a roastery located in an unassuming strip mall/business plaza, and they're roasting up fresh beans from the Chiapas region of Mexico. The owner is so kind and informative. He gave us a sample of their award winning cold brew to try while he was making our lattes, and we don't usually drink coffee black but this was so rich and flavorful with notes of chocolate, nuts and cherries- it didn't need any sugar or milk because it was so smooth. Their signature drink is the mazapan latte, and he was telling us he likes to add chocolate to make it like a peanut butter cup or strawberry syrup to make it like a peanut butter jelly sandwich so we had to go for that since it's something so unique! And they really did taste like pb&j! One of the best lattes either of us has ever tried! The best thing is that they weren't too overwhelmingly sweet, and you can still taste the actual coffee. I could still taste the rich nutty, chocolaty notes of the arabica + robusto blend, and the owner explained how even with just the 5% of robusto you get an energy boost that'll last through the day but not keep you up all night. No wonder "I Am Your Energy" is their tag line - I really do feel energized, but amazingly not jittery! So glad we found this place!

That summer drink with the cold brew, lemonade, and strawberry at first seemed weird... but then i thought i would not be able to try this drink anywhere else... so i tried it and it was actually really good. Also, extra points for having a cool logo.

This is a cute little place! Nice and neat. They have been packaging and selling their beans wholesale and have decided to open up for the public. I ordered their mazapan latte and it is delicious it's not too sweet and you can really taste the beans and a hint of peanuts. They also serve croissants and muffins. I highly recommend this place! It's very quaint and clean. Service was excellent. I will be back for sure!

Came here on a sleepy Wednesday afternoon and in desperate need of caffeine. I loved the Mexican-inspired theme and I decided to order Marzapan coffee since I never had coffee in this flavor. The Marzapan coffee did not disappoint. It had a nutty, creamy texture and tasted almost like the candy except a little less sweet. Dorian and Luis were also super nice and I liked that I didn't have to pay until the end of my service. I also ordered a bag of coffee beans, which was around $15. I highly recommend Coatl Coffee if you are in the area. They have good coffee and service.

Cold brew was great but the ham and cheese croissant was amazing!!!

What's up with the hours here? Seems like they are in business but never open the doors to sell to customers? Anyone know what happened?

Thanks Lori for your inquiry. We're open and sell our roasted beans on the days we're roasting, packaging, and processing. This is on Wednesday mornings and sometimes on other days depending on the needs of the coffee shops we supply. (We don't…

Mike and the entire team at Dreamwave are doing such an incredible job of making the experience worth every penny. The quality of the coffee, the work they do, and the service they provide is truly top tier. While they do have a lot of fun flavors, this is not the kind of place that drowns the palate with sweetness. They expertly balance the ratio of syrup, milk, and espresso to provide the best outcome. The nuttiness of their roast really shines, and they're always happy to adjust the sweetness if you need them to. Personally, I love the lower sweetness level being the default. These guys know what they're doing! We've been visiting for the past week and have stopped through Dreamwave four times this week. While I'm always in the need of a coffee fix, we've gone out of our way to visit multiple times because the people have been so beyond kind. We've sampled most of the house flavors and I can confidently say they have all been delicious. This would definitely be my go-to shop if I lived nearby.

The coffee is marginal although it will get you through. I'm kind of a purist, so I go for espresso only or Americanos where I can control water content. One great thing about drinking coffee here though is that you get to use their own packages spices, which are quite good. The sandwiches are good, the people working are always great, the seating area is comfortable (although a little on the small side when they're crowded) and they have free WiFi. We tried a few different drinks, not sure if I remember them all but the Snickerdoodle latte, the Candy Orange mocha, the cardamom rose latte, a rose latte, the magic lemonade, and something else. All our drinks were ordered with oat milk and everything we ordered was vegan friendly (I asked!). Our family really enjoyed the grab and go pistachio chia pudding! All chia pudding is vegan friendly and they had several flavors. I would have purchased more at the time if they were just a tad cheaper. I will need to go back for more! They also had several pastries. There was only one vegan option that I recall- a vegan poppyseed muffin. I didn't get to try it on these visits but would like to soon! We had a mishap with one of our drinks and they kindly made it right, which goes a long way in our book and guarantees a return visit. Thank you for that. Our youngest daughter enjoyed playing with the little kitchen and toy trucks. There is limited seating inside but more picnic style bench seating outside. The coffee shop shares a space with the Pilates studio. We saw a few sessions in progress while getting our drinks. Service was usually quick and friendly. There was only one time that it took a bit of time. I appreciate their Pay It Forward wall. They also sell kids toys, shirts, coffee mugs and more.
