This place is a hidden gem! They offer an incredible variety of drive-through options, including beans, oats, soups, spices, and more. If you don't know where it is, you might miss it, but it's definitely worth a visit. The selection is impressive, and while it can be a bit pricey, you're paying for top-notch quality. Was crestfallen when I found the Valley Center location had closed, but then relieved and delighted when I saw that they're now in Oceanside, even closer to me! I've always appreciated the quality of everything they feature (especially the fava and garbanzos for making excellent falafel,) but lately I've been discovering special items they carry. Being a patriotic Californian, I initially scoffed at their offering "imported" almonds, but these Spanish almonds are utterly superior to even the best California almonds I've found. I then learned that unfortunately California "raw" almonds are pasteurized (cooked). I wish I were an orangutan, so I could also use my feet to give Jaffe Bros FOUR thumbs way, way up. read more

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They cant handle their business and they have horrible customer service. We placed our order for $120 worth of food on 3/21 and I still don't have any food on 5/6. My wife called 3 times to follow up and I called twice. Every time I was told "it should ship next week", "it's been crazy here", "we have thousands of orders", "our suppliers are out", yada yada. There are plenty of other companies to order food from that have free shipping to boot. DONT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE TO NEVER RECEIVE YOUR FOOD. We were recommended to this company by a long time customer, and, as a prospective customer, I suggested that they pay shipping for our first order since it had been 6 weeks of run around with no ship date in sight. I was laughed at and told "covid is not my problem", implying that the increased demand for his products should justify his inability to manage his orders. I love this store. It's been around for such a long time and still offers local and quality food items and ingredients. You can't do better than supporting small businesses like this one. I have purchased from this company in the past, and I never had any issues. However, I placed two orders in March. After two weeks, of no updates in the system, I began to call. They do not answer the phone. Then, I sent several emails requesting an update - still nothing. Finally, I sent an email requesting that they release my funds (They were being held on my card to authorize the purchase - this was one month after the initial purchase.). Now, in June, my card has been charged for one of the orders that I places almost 3 MONTHS AGO. This with ZERO UPDATES from this company on order status, delays due to COVID-19, supply chain, whatever. NOTHING! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Of course they are getting more business. Everyone is! Still, I would have died of starvation waiting for their order so, no, I do not need it. Since they clearly have not read any emails, maybe they will read this review and, at least, post something on their website letting customers know what is going on. Jaffe Bros, a simple statement posted on your homepage will do the trick. Tell people that their order will be delayed (for a couple of months). read more

I ordered some in shell walnuts from this business and after i cracked open some of the walnuts I realized that more then half of them had mold on them. I had the product shipped back but the owners Don and Larry refused to give me the refund because they didn't get the all the product back. How is one supposed to make a realize the product is bad without consuming some of it. This place is horrible, not only do they send you moldy product but when you call to complain they try and argue with you that their product is good and refuse to refund you. read more
