I'm always down to try new coffee spots especially local small businesses when I'm in a new area. Saw La costa while scrolling through Yelp and it was the closest to where we were so we tried it out! I love the look inside... super clean also lots of coffee/tea decor. The ladies helping were really nice and helpful. Sadly what I wanted was not available but I was not disappointed with my iced chai vanilla latte. It was sooooo good!!! I still think about it till now. I've had iced chai vanilla latte before but I don't know what made this one so good haha it just hit the spot! Hubs ordered a coconut mocha... he thought it was good too but he wished he had more coffee taste to it. But for me, I'll def come back when I'm in the area for my Latte!

Nice cafe in Encinitas!! I was welcomed when arriving, café has a very wide menu a lot to choose from. Has delicious fresh baked goods. The ambience is very quiet and very calm, not too loud . Plenty of seating inside and on the outside patio. Great place to come if you're looking to get some work done or homework. The service is great. They gave me some good recommendations. And I got my drink and brownie immediately after ordering. I had a strawberry banana smoothie with a chocolate brownie, and it was absolutely delicious . I was recommended peanut butter brownie I think I'll get it next time.

Cute coffee shop with cozy, warm vibes! Busy on a Saturday morning, but the line went by fast and there's plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. There's also free wifi which is a huge plus! We all enjoyed our coffee! I personally got the iced latte with oat milk and the coffee was nice and strong (just how I like it). Definitely recommend this coffee shop!

I don't know how much coffee is actually in this but it was yummy! Tasted like a caramel milkshake. A good drink so the people who like something sweet. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Probably waited about 10 from ordering to when drink came out. They were pretty busy so it wasn't too bad of a wait all things considered.

Love the decor & outdoor seating! Friendly and fast service. Ordered an unsweetened soy matcha latte & oat milk vanilla latte and both were great (good flavor and not too sweet). They have a lot of teas and some baked goods in addition to Kodiak oatmeal.

Cute little coffee shop in a plaza. There's nice seating inside and cute decor. Loved the coffee bean grinder and the artisan mugs they sell. I got the iced vanilla bean americano and wow it was so delish! Was only visiting the area but it seemed like a great local spot. Lots of baked goods to choose from as well.

We had the opportunity to meet Doug the owner at the store. He walked us through the extensive process of how they roast their own coffee beans. Doug made us feel extremely welcomed and at home. Now I feel like I know a thing or two about coffee that the average person doesn't. Thanks Doug!!!

Mmmm.... Refreshing! Pleasant understated cafe experience. Friendly, welcoming staff and knowledgeable coffee vendor. Easy atmosphere for casual meetings or solo refreshments. Will come again!

Coffee is always consistently delicious. You can smell it from a mile away. Love it Atmosphere good as well. Whenever they are roasting coffee it smells delicious in there.

Do they sell green unroasted coffee beans?

Yes. I've asked a few times since I roast from home. I wanted to support a local business if possible, but they sell them very expensive. Almost as much as if they roasted them for you.…

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. I really liked what I can only assume is their in house syrup. Think Starbucks pistachio latte, but two times better. This coffee place is for those who don't do Starbucks. Vanilla flat white was just as good. I would say Carlsbad for coffee this place is a must stop.

Hiya B.U.M.S., Let's…read moreget something out of the way first: I don't like coffee. I know, I know. It's a latte to take in. My wife, on the other hand, is a total caffeine fiend. But here's the kicker--she orders her coffee plain, simple, and black. To me? It tastes exactly like every other coffee in the world. (Don't bean me, it's just the truth!) Despite my lack of enthusiasm for bean water, we recently checked out Revolution Roasters, and I figured it was time to espresso my thoughts on the place. Spoiler alert: It was a pretty brew-tiful experience. Since I'm not a coffee guy, I let my wife handle the beverage department. She ordered an Iced Cold Brew and gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up. She said it was really good, which means Revolution Roasters is definitely doing something right to keep the coffee purists happy. Now, onto my territory, the White Chocolate Scone was a hit with the wife because it wasn't too sweet. If you prefer your pastries without a side of sugar shock, this is the one for you. However, full disclosure: if you're standing there debating between this scone and the savory pot pie from the shop right across the way... I'm going with the pot pie. Sorry, scone. I also ordered the Berry & Cream Cheese Toast, which was the real MVP. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, and they nailed the ratio. There was a perfectly even, generous spread of cream cheese and berry topping. Highly recommend! Revolution Roasters is located in a super cool, market-style space filled with other neat little shops. It makes for a great, lively atmosphere. When we walked in, the line was pretty long--clearly, the secret is out. But don't let a crowd deter you! The service was incredibly smooth and helpful, and they've got the operation down to a science. Plus, despite the crowd, there was actually adequate seating for a ton of people. We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

Best indoor playground I've been to in So Cal so far. The jungle gym, ball pits, trampoline areas…read moreare all well kept and safely designed. Most areas have cushions and are padded. It feels safer than other indoor playgrounds we have been to. It can def get crowded when there's a birthday party going on. Multiple hand sanitizers and air purifiers around the place. Staff vacuum regularly. The cafe is a real cafe and serves decent food compared to many other playgrounds. It would be a perfect place if the kitchen and market play areas are better stocked with toys and organized. Overall a great experience and will return back if we are around the area again.

My husband and I really like Kids & Coffee and plan to keep coming back. The space is fun and such…read morea great concept for families. However, there are some safety issues that I believe need attention. My main concern is the 24-month-and-under area. During a busy Sunday visit, multiple older, more active children repeatedly ran through the space, jumped into the baby ball pit, climbed over the low walls, jumped down from the turf hill into the baby section, and played very close to crawling infants. One older child accidentally swung one of the baby toys and hit my 8-month-old on the head, knocking him over and causing him to cry. His mom immediately came into the infant section, apologized, and had her child apologize, which I appreciated. What concerned me most was seeing another child climb onto and walk along the wall separating the infant section from the front lobby--not even part of the play structure--and then jump down into the baby area. She accidentally kicked my husband on the way down while he was sitting beside our son. A staff member was standing nearby, clearly saw her walking on the wall, and simply walked away without redirecting her or saying anything. I understand that parents are responsible for supervising their own children. However, during our visit, several parents did not prevent their older children from entering and actively playing in the infant section. When staff directly witness behavior that is clearly unsafe, especially around crawling babies, I would expect them to step in. The current layout also makes the baby area feel like an extension of the larger play space. The low walls, open entrance, connecting tunnel, turf hill, and small age-limit sign--which is only visible from one side--seem to encourage older children to enter, climb, and jump into the area. We genuinely enjoy this place and will continue visiting, but I hope the owners consider clearer signage, more consistent staff redirection during busy periods, and possible future design changes to make the infant area safer and more clearly separated.
