Coffee Coffee has been on my list, and I finally made it in! The space has that effortlessly cute coastal coffee shop feel, and the menu has some fun seasonal drinks that are a little more interesting than your standard latte. I went with the Coconut Cream Pie Latte, and this was such a good one. The coconut flavor actually comes through, but what really sold me was the real dried coconut on top. Such a simple detail, but it added the perfect little bit of texture and made the drink feel much more special. The salted cold foam paired really well with it too and kept the whole thing from being overly sweet. My only complaint is parking. It can definitely be a little challenging to find a spot, so give yourself some extra time if you're coming when they're busy. Cute spot, creative drinks, and I'd absolutely come back for that coconut latte again. read more

Another great find in Encinitas. This adorable beach/surf themed shop was so inviting from the moment I pulled up. Location is right off of Highway 1 so easy access. We popped in here last December to grab some breakfast and drinks. I was excited to try their Golden Latte and their tasty breakfast tacos. I love how the shop is open and airy. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. I really thought the shaded patio was such a peaceful spot to just sit and relax. Service was good and both my drink and breakfast were on point in terms of taste. You just can't beat west coast breakfast tacos! I saw lots of locals and tourists alike walking over or riding up on their bikes as parking is pretty limited but don't let that stop you from giving them a try. read more

I was walking through Leucadia this morning and stopped in to get a cup of coffee. I had not been in this shop for a couple of years - wow! I did not recognize the place. It's quite the happening place and a great place for people-watching while you enjoy a cup of coffee. Coffee, Coffee in Leucadia has always been very special to us, and it is our go-to spot for special occasions. They offer excellent pastries and coffee, and the staff is always so friendly. It has both inside and outside with simple furniture. During our last visit, I accidentally ordered the wrong item, but they happily exchanged it for the right one without any hesitation. That kind of service went completely above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended! read more

An adorable coffee shop in Leucadia! We popped in one sunny weekend afternoon for some coffee. It was the most adorable spot! We got the Orange Spice Latte which tasted exactly how it sounds. A solid brew with citrus notes. There's tons of seating both inside and outside. We chose a seat at their funky bar to get some work done and people watch. Stop by after a nice lunch a couple of blocks over at Atelier Manna. This shopbhas the cutest patio shaded by trees and nice interior space, clean and simple. The coffee is good and strong but neither my partner or I could taste the rosemary or orange in the Rosemary Orange Cold brew, all we tasted was strong coffee. Genuinely this was so bad. I ordered a latte with salted vanilla honey & almond milk, does this look like a latte? I don't know maybe my vision is off today but this color was already a bad sign. Such an adorable shop! Very light and bright, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to catch up with friends or work/study. The menu includes classic coffee options for the purist and some specialty drinks for the adventurous. I ultimately went with the salted honey vanilla latte and it was HEAVENLY! The perfect balance of coffee, sweetness, honey and vanilla flavor, truly one of the better cups of coffee I've had in a very long time. They also had a good selection of pastries and by mid morning, several sold out, so they just be pretty good! And a good selection of grab and go breakfast food also rounded out the menu. Lastly the staff were nice! Very friendly and welcoming! I visit Encinitas 4-5 times a year and this will definitely be on my rotation of coffee houses to stop at now! read more

For a place that is called "coffee,coffee" I was surprised that I had to send back my latte because it was burnt. They remade it and it tasted better but still not great. Apparently it's hard to get a good latte in Leucadia. What they apparently seem to be good at are specialty coffee drinks (that's what everyone in Leucadia seems to be good at -- added sugar and whips to coffee drinks - that's not coffee, that's Starbucks impersonation and if I wanted Starbucks I'd go there). read more

We were in town for 6 days and came here 3x and if you don't know, lots of coffee shops in this area. Loved the cappuccinos and my hubs enjoyed the dirty chia. Loved the pastries (not sure where they are from), especially the cardamom roll and chocolate chip scone. Lots of locals and people working, long lines are a good sign. Service A++. read more

This spot is a easy 100 to grab some caffeine. The spot has lots of room inside and out to hang out and work or visit with friends. They have a large menu with breakfast and pastries, even grab n go burritos, that accommodates all diets. I ordered the coconut cold brew which I fully enjoyed. I stopped by to check out the coffee shop on vacation and was blown away by the decorative design in this cafe! The tables are a nice birch color and the whole interior is very nicely and carefully color schemed, you can tell the owners genuinely care about their cafe. They had the cutest merch shirts and stickers and a little machine that exchanges quarters for a mini poster, which will be the perfect addition to my scrapbook page about my time in Encinitas! :) The cafe is attached to a surf shop so getting lost browsing through all those little goodies you never knew you needed is so easy and I loved every second of it. I'm gluten intolerant and omg! When I tell you they have the best HUGE (which is rare with gluten free items) chocolate almond cookie that you can easily share between your friend and you, it's so filling and perfectly sweet. I got hooked and came almost every morning to try it during my stay.The workers are all so kind and beautiful!! They have that friendly look if ykyk, and everyone was so accommodating about making unsweetened coffees and matchas. I was so happy to see them hiring younger people because we all know how hard it is to get a job as a teenager. Outside they have an art box which creates such a smart and easy way to connect as a community. This place was really great , from start to finish we felt very taken care of. Although expensive , we felt we got what we paid for. ($54 total) We ordered a bagel, and croissant, a breakfast sandwich, and quiche. We also got 2 lattes. The bagel was fresh and had a good amount of cream cheese. The croissant wasn't good tasted a day old. The breakfast sandwich with egg was so delicious. It has some spicy sauce on it and the bread was so soft and fresh. The quiche was good, a bit thick and needed more of an egg taste but still had good flavor nonetheless. The lattes were so delicious and made just as ordered. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal. The tables outside could use a bit of TLC, as some were wobbly. Will be back when in the area! read more
