It was strong and that horchata cold foam gave it the perfect cinnamon sweetness I was looking for. I also got the mocha. They grind up the chocolate they get from Mexico and use it to make this authentic mocha. I also got to taste a little of their Vietnamese coffee. It didn't taste like your typical viet coffee. It tasted more like a creamy coffee. It's pretty good! This is a cute little kiosk located in a gas station parking lot. The barista Jesse was the sweetest! ESB Cafe is a family owned business opened in 2019. It is located in In-N-Out plaza, but next to Valero Gas station at the corner of Calle Magdalena. The menu includes many unique drinks. They also have delicious selection of pastries. The owner was very nice and helpful. We orderd Iced Caramel latte. The drink had silky texture with perfect balance of strong espresso and the caramel sweetness. We got many pastries. They were very fresh and pretty good. My new go to! Super friendly people, super good coffee. ESB is a small kiosk located next to the gas station so don't miss it! I had the mazapan latte, which was super decadent, nutty, and on par with the familiar Mexican candy it's inspired by. $4 americano from a gas station coffee cart? I guess my expectations were high from other reviews, but I didn't think the drink was very smooth. Service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, there was a mentally ill person sitting right next to the cart raving about fentanyl. He wasn't violent, but the unpredictable situation was uncomfortable. Amazinggggg. At first you wouldn't always think a small little coffee cart by a gas station would have good coffee, but it's always the ones you least expect! First time trying a Matcha Lavender Latte, and it was perfect. I'm always afraid of specialty lattes being too sweet but it was just the right amount and flavorful. The banana nut bread was so moist and fresh! The lady said she makes them daily in the morning. You can tell they were baked with love. I ordered via Door Dash, I am truly glad I did... I got the ham & cheese croissant & the pastrami & cheese croissant for my guy. The croissants were nice an flaky (they look like the ones from Costco, which those are pretty tasty). The ham and pastrami actually travelled well and were warm and melty with the cheese. I also got an iced coffee that also travelled well, I enjoyed the 20 oz. drink and was inspired by other reviews to try the Horchata Iced Coffee (review said that it tasted authentically like Horchata). I highly recommend this place, it's simple but that's what makes it good because it doesn't have to be crazy fancy or trendy to be delicious. read more

Love this coffee stand. It looks a bit sketchy because it's next to the Valero gas station, but the coffee is very, very good, and Ariel is an awesome host. Got a cappuccino, a drip coffee, and a flat white. The drip coffee was too cool, around 130, and the cap and flat white (which are supposed to be 130) were at least 150. I pointed this out and got another, which was only 5 degrees cooler if at all. This goes past caramelizing the milk and burns it, completely ruining the flavor profile. You can hear it too, the milk drops in pitch and (in the case of a flat white) screams. I really hope you show this to your barista, it is essential knowledge. Delicate espresso drinks cannot be overheated. read more
