We came here on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too crowded so there was no wait or line. They had ran out of one of the syrups for a drink I wanted (the blueberry pancake) so that was disappointing. But I like ube so I opted for the Ube steamer. It was quite a good drink as it was the perfect level of sweetness and has a strong ube flavor. Cute interior and has a nice cozy, modern set up.

Have been coming here for a few years off and on and their lattes are still promising to this day, like their Bibinka and their Honey Lavender. What's not promising is they don't always have certain ingredients in stock meaning they can't make certain drinks. It's happened the last two times and I haven't been able to get my original orders, although the drink I end up getting is good anyway. Service is nice every time tho, no complaints. Always a busy shop no matter what time of day I've come

One brazillion coconut cold brew - thought it would be sweetened with a cream but it is just a cold brew with coconut flavors which I liked. Very unique and no extra sugar Would def get again

Imo, this duo behind the coffee bar, not my favorite.

I had high hopes and expectations for this place based on Social media and reviews. Could be a location issue- personally. But I just felt this location was not friendly. Even the customers. By any means do I expect people to offer help when they see someone with a stroller , but if you're going to exit out of the door and proceed to have me hold it for two grown adults, wow. Obviously not a store issue but just the vibe I got started off unpleasant. Now ordering, they had a few items crossed out. No food items, which is fine. But the two behind the counter weren't as welcoming. At most coffee places asking hi how are you, is it your first time here type of thing was not present and I fee that's pretty standard. Anyways, I got an iced babingka latte, it was decent. I feel like when you're happy- the product you produce follows, so based on what I received it matched, it was lacking. To add, they ran out of plastic lids. I have two children going to drive in a car and if you think I'm going to have an open ass iced coffee in my car? Again could be a me problem but like I wouldn't have gotten an iced drink had the barista told me they ran out to order hot instead. So I requested it in a hot cup which he switched it over for me after saying my cup was going to get soggy, which it didn't. I mean I'm not trying to tidbit here but if you're going to have iced coffee , you probably should have lots of back stock. Anyways, could be a bad day or not , either way this location won't have my business again. I would be open to trying the other locations.

I came at about 6:30am and to my luck there was no one inside so I did not have to wait in line. They were out of the drink I wanted so I got a Vietnamese iced coffee instead. It was pretty good. I would like to come back and try the banana drink they were out of. It has some pretty neat seating inside and the service was friendly.

Eclectic industrial gothic decor with both communal and aclove booth seating. The high ceilings provide a spacious natural lit room. I enjoyed a season iced mocha. The coffee was smooth and the service was friendly and swift. I definitely want to come back to enjoy the space by reading a book.

I didn't order any of their food, but it's nice to know they have that option. I lived in this area for most of my life and I don't know why I haven't came here as often as I should. I wanted to try the Turon Creme Brulee however they said they are no longer selling that. I wish they would've crossed it off their menu, but it is what it is. I think it's recent that's why they haven't crossed it out yet. I did order the regular crème brûlée latte, and it was really good! They have a white selection of coffees from all over the world. My roots are from the Philippines and it's nice. They showcase a lot of cops from there. But again they have coffees from all over the world as well. :) There's ample seating here. Parking is pretty easy. Staff was really nice. I have yet to try more of their coffees and teas and Matcha. I'll be back.

Mostra never misses. They are easily the best coffee shop in San Diego. I've been coming since 2019 and am a huge fan for life. Never enjoyed espresso as much as I did until I had ghost bear! I use any excuse to take my family and friends here. It's just so good. Their service always treats you like family. And vibes are always good. I love studying here and catching up w friends Mostra has been there for pretty major parts of my life and a good amount of my 20s. This place is so dope. The only place that comes close is Bird rock coffee in Torrey pines

BLUEBERRY MATCHA LATTE 10/10!!!! I had it iced with oat milk and OMG had the best combination and balance of flavor. I asked the barista if what he thought of it and he said he liked it. He made it really fast and it was beyond delicious than expected. Would get again

Honestly kinda disappointed in this place. I was visiting SD and found this place on Yelp and was super excited to try it. Minimal inside and outside seating. Parking was difficult as there is construction going on in that area and after parking and walking in the staff wasn't very friendly. The drinks were made quickly but no one greeted us or asked if we had any questions since we were all looking at the menu. The drinks were okay, nothing amazing to rave about so pretty disappointed in my overall experience here. I don't think it'd be worth to go out of your way for this place and probably would choose something else when I'm in the area.

This location has a beautiful interior with a set of inlaid booths that really make the place stand out. Order your drink and snap a picture here as they certainly are picture worthy. The coffee here is excellent as well. Mostra offers a variety of options that I haven't seen from others. They have blueberry flavors as well as coconut cold brew. The coffee is a standout and I would come again and again for it. Service-wise, because they are so busy, the folks there seem to try to crank everything out as quickly as possible. My friend who came with me ordered a drink and was made something completely different. Of course, Mostra made it again correctly for him, but it was a little bit of an inconvenience - especially if you are in a hurry.

    * First time trying their Ube Crème Brûlée latte & wow it was delicious! * Love to see all the different kinds of Filipino latte flavors * Service from all the staff was great! All super friendly and coffee was ready in 5 minutes! Even with a long line they're fast & efficient * Ambiance is so cozy and unique! Great spot to study or work * Most definitely will be back more often to try out all the other items they have to offer!

I was drawn to this coffee shop after seeing the unique southeast asian inspired drinks. However, all the unique drinks I wanted to try were out of stock! They were out of matcha, turon, choconana, and bibingkinita. I opted for the honey lavender latte and my friend got the campfire latte. I could tell they used a good quality honey, and I liked how the campfire latte tasted like an elevated and deeper chocolate milk. The interior had cozy and chill vibes, and it was connected to the lobby of an apartment building. The barista was nice and made our drinks quickly!

Will they be opening a location in Escondido? Maybe on Grand?

Their next locations are slated for 4s ranch and eventually Mira Mesa :)

Do they have food other than pastries? Like sandwiches or other light fare?

Yes they do, I picked up a grilled cheese when I was there.

Do they have outlets to do work?

    Yes, They have outlets.

Hi do you sell gift cards?

    They do sell gift cards.

Do they have milk substitutions like almond or soy milk?

Yes! They have soy and almond milk. I'm pretty sure they don't charge for it either!

Is this a good place to sit and study for a few hours? Do they have WiFi and outlets available?

Yes it’s a great place to study! Their WiFi is very strong and there are plenty of small tables so that you’re not taking up too much space. I’m a real estate agent and often pop in to get work done and I often see people studying. It can get loud… Read more

    Is it dog friendly?

The people behind the counter we eloquent and efficient along with being kind and patient. My wife was pretty indecisive and they worked with us till she finally knew what she wanted. The whole reason we went though was for coffee and we were FAR from disappointed. We got the Blood Orange Basil Latte and the Blackberry Vanilla Latte and both tasted perfect, each sip of the Blood Orange Basil had a nice scent of basil with the leaf in there. You really can't go wrong here, the tables outside gave you a nice area to sit relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. A+ 10/10 no notes, excepts for the positive ones above. The drink itself is delicious, but not sure if I would come every week for this price (personally). Maybe just once in a while! The interior space got revamped so that the workers have more wiggle room, that was cool to see. I didn't see much else that changed though-- oh besides that and the prices. The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

If I could give this location 10 stars I would, and it's all thanks to the lovely baristas led by their manager Jules. I came to this location to redeem my hankering for their mocha, as La Jolla ran out of oat milk, which is basically my nightmare as a lactose-intolerant coffee fiend. BIG TIP: the Blue Bottle mocha is my favorite of all coffee shop mochas because a) it is dairy free and b) they use chocolate from local chocolate makers. Local business win! After the very kind barista upfront commiserated with me for not being able to get my star mocha the day before, my husband ambled up to the front and asked if they had a bag of Philippine beans to buy -- a new bean they're featuring. The manager, Jules, overheard and relayed that they sadly did not... !! BUT !! "I brought a bag for my team to try," he said. "My shift is over now... but I can brew it for you to taste, too." He didn't have to do that, but he was sooo kind to offer. And so, Jules stuck around another ~10+ minutes, all to give my husband a taste of the beans he simply asked about. What I love about coffee culture is the passion of the baristas and their willingness to share this with you. Jules, my husband, and I stood around talking about our favorite coffee spots and the coffee culture from here to LA for a few more minutes, before letting him go on about his day. Jules really understands hospitality in a way that many establishments don't get, and I truly love how it brings people together. Thank you Jules for showing us -- hospitality is not dead. I hope we get to meet again the next time we visit!
