First time visiting after this place was recommended by my hairdresser. I got an iced salted caramel latte, half sweet which was great. The bummer was they were out of stock on the first three drinks I wanted which is a lot of ingredients to be out of. There were more than three drinks out of stock as well. Service was mediocre. The aesthetic was really nice though! There was a large communal table in the seating area with a few other smaller tables along the wall. Def can get some good pics in here. Went here on a Friday morning at 10am. Out of 7 drinks I wanted to try, they were out of all but one of the drinks. The overall experience (staff, variety/availability, drink quality) was incredibly disappointing because I hear great things about this place. There were quite a bit of people in there, so I'm sure it's great at times. Settling for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee as 1 of our 2 drinks, sadly it was mostly ice. The drink was done in a few sips. It felt like the cup was filled with ice and then put the coffee in. Don't get me wrong, the drink was good and the coffee was strong. The other drink was the Creme Brulee Latte. If you like the sugar un-bruleed, this is the drink for you. I saw the top was torched for a few seconds, but the drink was still in the tiny sugar crystals. Years since I been back. Got myself a crème brûlée latte and an ice caramel again. This time it was a lot better than. The last time Crème brûlée was my fav of the two. Not too sweeet. Good flavor. I've been to this location in the past and it was always really busy, but when we went it was not as busy as expected. Plenty of parking available. I was surprised to see about 5 drinks crossed off the main menu board and there was no specials menu at the register. Ordered one of the drinks on the menu and was told it's not available. Selected another off the menu and same response -not available. The barista offered no suggestions, but I finally landed on one that was available and delicious as always. So many Filipino flavors I love at this coffee shop! My favorite is the bibinka latte, so authentic with the ingredients used. The turon latte is an easy second favorite. I had high hopes and expectations for this place based on Social media and reviews. Could be a location issue- personally. But I just felt this location was not friendly. Even the customers. By any means do I expect people to offer help when they see someone with a stroller , but if you're going to exit out of the door and proceed to have me hold it for two grown adults, wow. Anyways, I got an iced babingka latte, it was decent. I feel like when you're happy- the product you produce follows, so based on what I received it matched, it was lacking. To add, they ran out of plastic lids. I have two children going to drive in a car and if you think I'm going to have an open ass iced coffee in my car? Again could be a me problem but like I wouldn't have gotten an iced drink had the barista told me they ran out to order hot instead. So I requested it in a hot cup which he switched it over for me after saying my cup was going to get soggy, which it didn't. Honestly kinda disappointed in this place. I was visiting SD and found this place on Yelp and was super excited to try it. Minimal inside and outside seating. Parking was difficult as there is construction going on in that area and after parking and walking in the staff wasn't very friendly. The drinks were made quickly but no one greeted us or asked if we had any questions since we were all looking at the menu. The drinks were okay, nothing amazing to rave about so pretty disappointed in my overall experience here. Coffee is alright. The coffee shop is always busy on weekday mornings. Be careful when putting the lid on as they do not really click on when you push it down. Accidentally pushed the lid too hard because it didn't feel like it was going on correctly and spilled my drink a bit on the counter. Watched multiple people do the same after me as well. The coffee here is excellent as well. Mostra offers a variety of options that I haven't seen from others. They have blueberry flavors as well as coconut cold brew. The coffee is a standout and I would come again and again for it. Service-wise, because they are so busy, the folks there seem to try to crank everything out as quickly as possible. I was staying at a hotel nearby and ordered delivery in the morning from Mostra. I got a blueberry pancake latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese. I really like the latte which was smooth and had a nice blueberry flavor without tasting too artificial. I was also able to select less sweet on UberEats which is a huge plus as I don't like my lattes too syrupy. The bagel was a bit of a letdown as it wasn't toasted (the bagel itself wasn't cold, more room temp but I wish it was toasted) but it was good enough. One of my favorite places to go to when it comes to getting coffee or tea! Parking can sometimes be a bit tough here so keep that in mind. And I feel like every time I come here, the line is always pretty long but it just means it's that good. The seating here can be a bit limited so just keep that in mind. But everyone here is quite friendly and provides good service. The coffee (especially the lattes) and teas are really good too. I tried their new ham and cheese croissant sandwich and that was absolutely good too. I'd recommend coming here if you want some really good coffee. Prices can be slightly high but I think it's worth the price - you won't be disappointed! If I lived closer, I'd be more of a regular to visit here and even work here if I could. Here's hoping that they will open more up in the north area! read more

Got one of their specialty creme brulee lattees and it was absolutely delicious! They burn the sugar on top and their 12 oz is 2 shots and 16 oz is 4 shots (they only do double shot pours, which is awesome). They don't have a huge menu but offer the classic espresso/coffee/tea drinks along with some great speciality drinks. We arrived here and looked at the menu, finally putting in our order. The employee told us that that specific drink was unavailable. They told us to try another location. So, we drove over to the Rancho Bernardo location to find that the location was closed and the inside seemed to be under construction.. I've been to two other Mostra locations and was really excited to visit this one and finally try their crème brûlée latte. Unfortunately, they were all sold out of the turon and bibingka so I opted for just a regular crème brûlée latte. I was pretty disappointed about that because I was really looking forward to it and it was only 2pm on a Saturday. Seating was very open when we arrived, but got filled quickly. I didn't really like my drink, which was surprising because I've tried 4 other items here and I loved all of them. Maybe the crème brûlée too wasn't torched enough, but I was really off put by the crunchy sugar granules that were not melted. Don't think crème brûlée is supposed to be like that :/ Everything else I've tried in the past is bomb though so I'll treat it as an off-day and still give the overall experience a 4/5. read more

First of all, I want to say this has been one of my favorite coffee spots in san diego for years. The campfire mocha is amazing and worth every penny. Ive brought friends here in the past and have always gotten positive feedback afterwards. Recently though, it feels like it's lost a little of its charm. The menu needs updating because with all the crossed out items on the board, it looks a little low end and like they're out of things. But they also always seem to be out of multiple items when I come these days. There's no food options any more most of the time, but the display cases remain. And seating... it feels like they got rid of 1-2 tables and the tables that were outside. There never seems to be enough seating so it's both cramped while also empty looking now. They have these side benches to sit on, but no one ever uses them because they're not super comfortable or good to chat with anyone with. Also, the bathroom. It's usually open, but twice now Ive been in there where there's zero toilet paper or the paper towel dispenser is out, but someone has just put a roll on top to tear at your own will. I loved this place so I hate saying more negative than good. The drinks remain amazing, but for a spot that is so popular, it's losing some of its own charm. read more

Great little coffee shop in Carmel Mountain Ranch Love that they have really unique flavors with their crème brûlée lattes and filipino flavors like bibingka and ube, and not just your standard coffee shop. I've gotten the bibingka, campfire, blueberry pancake, and cookie butter lattes as well as the coconut cold brew. All excellent. Their iconic booths have been under construction for a few months now which is a bit sad as that's my favorite part here, but hoping to see them back soon! Definitely try it out! read more
