Years since I been back. Got myself a crème brûlée latte and an ice caramel again. This time it was a lot better than. The last time Crème brûlée was my fav of the two. Not too sweeet. Good flavor. Nice vanilla hints. Good drink Caramel latte was good also. Maybe I wanted a bit more caramel flavor but it was a good drink overall. Loved the aesthetic of the shop. Service was good. Lots of parking. Overall good experience and I'll be back when In the area

I've been to this location in the past and it was always really busy, but when we went it was not as busy as expected. Plenty of parking available. I was surprised to see about 5 drinks crossed off the main menu board and there was no specials menu at the register. Ordered one of the drinks on the menu and was told it's not available. Selected another off the menu and same response -not available. The barista offered no suggestions, but I finally landed on one that was available and delicious as always. I love the coffee beverages at Mostra and will go out of my way for it.

Place hasn't changed, good but the coffee crème brûlée always seems milky! Nice location to sit and enjoy a coffee though

The coffees aren't too sweet but are still full of flavor. Their choconana cold brew is divine. They run out of flavors/cold brews sometimes but you know you'll always leave with a quality coffee.

Ive been to this location years ago, pre-covid but I don't remember the taste or my experience so I had to come back and give a proper update and review. I walked in and it wasn't too busy, the lady who helped me was friendly and chill. The interior is cool, a ton of stuff to buy and a nice warm ambience. I ordered a vanilla latte. The latte was very disappointing, no coffee taste, just an iced milk. no flavor at all, It wasn't good. Everything was great except the taste of the coffee. Thank you Mostra for the experience.

So many Filipino flavors I love at this coffee shop! My favorite is the bibinka latte, so authentic with the ingredients used. The turon latte is an easy second favorite. Inside is cute and love the seating areas. They have pick up/mobile order, makes for convenient ordering! I always recommend this place and love when I see their coffee at other restaurants like Common Theory!

We came here on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too crowded so there was no wait or line. They had ran out of one of the syrups for a drink I wanted (the blueberry pancake) so that was disappointing. But I like ube so I opted for the Ube steamer. It was quite a good drink as it was the perfect level of sweetness and has a strong ube flavor. Cute interior and has a nice cozy, modern set up.

You would think you get your money worth that's almost half and that's not counting the ice . not coming back here no more

First time trying Mostra Coffee and it was really good. I had their bibingka crème brûlée latte. The coffee was subtly sweet with nice notes of burnt caramel and nicely toasted coconut. Love that they support small coffee farmers and highlight Filipino flavors in creating some of their drinks.

Coffee is amazing here. I went here to meet a friend and sit and chat. I ordered a campfire drink and it was amazing. It was not too sweet, which I was concerned about. It was perfect. Service was friendly and efficient. I'm already planning on going again. The only thing that would be nice would to have some pastries with the coffee. Ambiance is casual and clean. I'll be back!!

One brazillion coconut cold brew - thought it would be sweetened with a cream but it is just a cold brew with coconut flavors which I liked. Very unique and no extra sugar Would def get again

Have been coming here for a few years off and on and their lattes are still promising to this day, like their Bibinka and their Honey Lavender. What's not promising is they don't always have certain ingredients in stock meaning they can't make certain drinks. It's happened the last two times and I haven't been able to get my original orders, although the drink I end up getting is good anyway. Service is nice every time tho, no complaints. Always a busy shop no matter what time of day I've come

Imo, this duo behind the coffee bar, not my favorite.

I had high hopes and expectations for this place based on Social media and reviews. Could be a location issue- personally. But I just felt this location was not friendly. Even the customers. By any means do I expect people to offer help when they see someone with a stroller , but if you're going to exit out of the door and proceed to have me hold it for two grown adults, wow. Obviously not a store issue but just the vibe I got started off unpleasant. Now ordering, they had a few items crossed out. No food items, which is fine. But the two behind the counter weren't as welcoming. At most coffee places asking hi how are you, is it your first time here type of thing was not present and I fee that's pretty standard. Anyways, I got an iced babingka latte, it was decent. I feel like when you're happy- the product you produce follows, so based on what I received it matched, it was lacking. To add, they ran out of plastic lids. I have two children going to drive in a car and if you think I'm going to have an open ass iced coffee in my car? Again could be a me problem but like I wouldn't have gotten an iced drink had the barista told me they ran out to order hot instead. So I requested it in a hot cup which he switched it over for me after saying my cup was going to get soggy, which it didn't. I mean I'm not trying to tidbit here but if you're going to have iced coffee , you probably should have lots of back stock. Anyways, could be a bad day or not , either way this location won't have my business again. I would be open to trying the other locations.

Flat white shouldn't have thick foam and the milk was burnt. The service was very nice though!

Will they be opening a location in Escondido? Maybe on Grand?

Their next locations are slated for 4s ranch and eventually Mira Mesa :)

Do they have food other than pastries? Like sandwiches or other light fare?

Yes they do, I picked up a grilled cheese when I was there.

Do they have outlets to do work?

    Yes, They have outlets.

Hi do you sell gift cards?

    They do sell gift cards.

Do they have milk substitutions like almond or soy milk?

Yes! They have soy and almond milk. I'm pretty sure they don't charge for it either!

Is this a good place to sit and study for a few hours? Do they have WiFi and outlets available?

Yes it’s a great place to study! Their WiFi is very strong and there are plenty of small tables so that you’re not taking up too much space. I’m a real estate agent and often pop in to get work done and I often see people studying. It can get loud…

    Is it dog friendly?

No, they don’t. Only service animals allowed inside. It makes sense though it can get pretty loud and busy inside there, I don’t think many dogs would be very comfortable. It’s in a great shopping center and I seen people leave their pups out for a…

Love the place and ube latte... are the cupcakes and pastry available everyday?

I go there often and have seen them to be available everyday !!! They seem to run low later in the day though .

Literally my favorite off the menu, but decided to try something new. I got the pina cold brew that had Yuzu, Pineapple and coconut cold foam. Interesting combo with so many flavors that test your taste buds. If you're looking for a nice summer drink, I suggest trying this one out. Another drink i got was the Vanilla with banana cold foam with toffee. The banana cold foam literally taste like a frozen banana, crazy right? Cold foam is perfect right amount of sweetness with that strong banana flavor. Place can be packed over the weekend, so arrive early or expect a little wait, but generally it moves fast. The pastries are very popular along with the Empanadas. The strawberry orange (GF) Muffin was good. Moist, flavorful and perfect pairing of both flavors.

This would have been an average San Diego coffee shop experience for me, except for the fact that I absolutely LOVED the cherry bomb! It's a cherry mocha and essentially a perfect drink for me. Back in 2019, Starbucks had a seasonal cherry mocha for Valentine's Day that I was obsessed with. Apparently I was the only one, because they haven't brought it back since. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!
