Wonderful new coffee shop! Staff is very friendly and the ambiance is great. The music playing was pleasant and not overbearing. While I was there, the staff found a ring that had fallen in the tip jar and found the owner to return it, which I thought was very kind and thoughtful. They also serve you your drink if you are sitting down, and they remember their regulars. There is an open bathroom that was very clean, a water station, and multiple available wall outlets, plus seating areas both in and outside. There are so many syrup flavors, as well as dairy free options, and my latte was really good! I was so excited to try a unique flavor and loved it. Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Poway! I happened upon this place when I Yelped "Matcha in Poway" and it was at the top of the list. Those that know me, know that I am a matcha addict and am always on the hunt to try new and exciting flavors as well as supporting new-ish businesses. Since I don't drink coffee anymore, it seemed to be a great option for my favorite beverage of choice. Before I drove over there, I perused the menu and was debating on if I should get the Blue Ocean or Biscoff...I decided on the Biscoff because I love those cookies. Surprisingly, the drink itself is not overly sweet, despite what others have described, which I appreciated. It is lined with crushed cookies and also crumbled on top. It is topped with whipped cream and had a nice, overall flavor. Not bitter like some matchas and just had a great mouth feel, if that makes any sense. Drinks are a bit pricey but I believe it more than makes up in quality. I only go to Starbucks for my matchas when I have no choice, btw, LOL! So spending a little extra is no issue for me if the end product is satisfying. The cafe itself is so pretty inside...small but with ample seating. Definitely a great little spot to catch up with friends or grab some caffeine with your favorite co-workers. Service is great as well. Parking is decent as it shares a lot with a few other businesses but it can get a touch busy during lunchtime. I was going to stay and lounge for a bit but I had to rush back to work for a meeting....boooo. Perfect little gem of a cafe when you are looking for your next coffee or matcha fix! read more

I stopped by here on a weekend morning while grabbing groceries. The shop itself is small but very cozy. I got a tiramisu latte. The coffee itself was fine, but I didn't get a really strong tiramisu flavor from the drink. Perhaps I should have asked for it hot and that may have made it taste more tiramisu-like? Overall, not bad but not what I was expecting in my latte. They do have these really cute heart shaped straws and the service is friendly. There is a lot of free parking in the plaza so it makes things easier. read more

Really cute place. I'm a little bit of a basic coffee snob. I usually only get a drip coffee but didn't this time because I saw they had a cookie butter latte. That is the one weakness I have for fufu coffees. It was very good. Not quite as sweet as I normally have it from Coffee Bean, and it wasn't quite as hot as it should be. But that's all no big deal. Coffee is so subjective and how people like it. So if I get it again I'll ask for a little hotter and with a little bit more cookie butter flavor. I'm excited to try the regular drip coffee next time as that is my normal go to! Super, super nice people! read more

Cozy little cafe with good coffee! I stumbled upon this cafe while waiting for my car to be serviced across the street, and I really enjoyed my time here! I ordered an iced hazelnut latte with oat milk (they have plenty of alternative milk options), and the coffee flavor was nice and strong. The staff were attentive and nice, and service was very fast. The seating arrangement is quite cozy and comfortable, and I spent about an hour reading here. The restroom was clean (big thing for me), but I do wish there were seat covers available. Hard to recommend this place when a simple ordered americano tastes like burnt toasted coffee bean over ice water. I'm no barista but at home I can pull an espresso shot with my amateur machine and manual hand grinder that tastes 10x better than the $5 plus tax drink I recently ordered from here. Maybe there other drinks are better but the baristas or beans need to change here because the americano was just plain awful. Ambiance overall was nice and the service was good too but the actual coffee yikes look elsewhere if you want a decently pulled shot of espresso. read more

What a delightful little coffee shop. The owners are super sweet and charming. The coffee is tasty and beautiful. It also packs a punch, at least for me. I'm a huge fan of the rose latte. It's a delicious balance of rose flavor without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing. I like to work there in the afternoon for an hour or two.
