The boba was tough and I've had better. But the service was nice. Also, the flavor of the tea is different from your usual milk tea...I think it's the brown sugar?
Always down to try a new boba spot, and I stumbled upon Jungle Tea while doing some research, glad I did. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, including the manager, Tony. I've been greeted before at plenty of boba shops, but this felt different. It wasn't just a quick hello; it felt like he genuinely wanted us there to experience what they've created, not just place an order and go. We were offered samples of their new Vietnamese coffee. We tried ube, egg, and banana. All were surprisingly good, and coming from someone who doesn't usually drink coffee, that says a lot. I ended up ordering the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger (Ube Taro), and despite how sweet it might sound, it was perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, just right. Honestly, the customer service alone deserves 4 stars, the drink pushed it to 5. Whenever I'm in the area, this will definitely be the first boba spot that comes to mind.
My partner and I wanted to try a new spot and stumbled upon Jungle area which turned out to be a great choice! Upon entering we were greeted by Tony who was super helpful and excited to share some of their new Vietnamese coffee drinks! I decided to get the banana cream but the egg and ube were also tasty choices! My partner went with the purple tiger Creme brûlée which was brown sugar milk tea with boba and Creme brûlée topping, soo good Customer service alone was amazing and the quality of the drinks followed right behind it, will definitely be coming back!
Super cute tea shop I happen to stumbled upon while I was in the mall for a dentist appointment. The service was great, the gal was patient with my indecisiveness. I order the Logan drink...so delicious! The place is nice and clean, great to hang out but problem is that there's no restroom for customers. I'll come back for sure!
Ok the place is cute and clean staff is nice . Plenty of seating. Menu very small nothing stands out. Plenty of parking. Tea was fine boba ok. Nothing special.
WOW this is some of the best boba i've had in SD! This is definitely a gem in the camino ruiz shopping center, so don't miss out, you may drive right past it! The shop itself is adorable and definitely abides by the "jungle" theme. The menu has all the favorites and the classics. I went with the wintermelon milk tea with boba and was not disappointed. Definitely the best wintermelon milk i've had in SD and the boba was cooked to perfection. Would definitely return!
I'm really sad I didn't like this place after reading the reviews. It's such a cute, little boba spot and I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it missed the mark in nearly every way. My guy got the Avocado Smoothie, which I didn't like at all and he said it was barely passable. I got their Taro Smoothie, which had zero taro flavor and was way way too sweet. I felt like I was just drinking straight sugar. The only thing I genuinely liked was the dragonfruit popping boba. I would rather have a bowl of that than try another actual drink from here.
Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger is pretty good!Surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it'd be given that it's a crème brûlée drink. The ube and taro worked really nicely together! Staff were super sweet. Drinks took a little bit longer than the average time, but it was worth the wait! You can tell there was care put into the drink. Minus one star because it unfortunately didn't not have WiFi, so not the best to study or work :( It's still a cute little grab n go shop!
The customer service here is incredible! The two ladies working here (I didn't get their names) were so friendly and helpful. They offered samples of their cold foam coffees, which all of them were delicious. I ended up ordering the banana cream coffee with crystal boba. It had a great blend of sweetness and banana flavor. I will definitely be back to try the other drinks.

Jungle Tea in Mira Mesa is a little boba shop with a playful, tropical palm tree theme. I ordered the taro boba and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and well-balanced the flavor was. They have a good selection of drinks that go beyond just the classics, with some unique flavors and toppings you don't always find. One sip of that taro boba and I was sold. If you're in the Mira Mesa area and craving a fun, quick boba experience, Jungle Tea should be on your list. I'll definitely be back to try more of the fun flavors.

Nice store with fast service. I had a dessert style drink and it was mostly good with some minor issues. The boba tasted slightly undercooked, with the inside just a little too firm. I ordered whole milk but the label said oat, although that may have been a quirk of the system. It tasted like oat but I can't be certain. Regardless, the flavor itself was great. I'd considering going back to give it another shot, although it's probably not my favorite boba place in Mira Mesa. read more
The couple times we have ordered here, the drinks have been good. The boba is great, the drinks are pretty good, and the service is quick. Ambience is clean and quant. I would have given 5 stars, except they didn't have any boba cooked/ready upon opening at 11am. We all were looking forward to the boba, and it's pretty disappointing to arrive upon opening and find out we would have to wait 1 hour for them to cook boba bc they "got off to a late start"... bummer. read more

Super cute tea shop I happen to stumbled upon while I was in the mall for a dentist appointment. The service was great, the gal was patient with my indecisiveness. The drinks are SO GOOD! The service is very nice and even when we take long they stay nice. I absolutely love Jungle Tea, I recommend it a lot. (THE ICE CREAM MILK TEA IS SOOOO GOOD.) read more

Enjoyed trying this boba spot in Mira Mesa! I was in the area and spotted its great reviews on Yelp so figured I'd stop by. It's located in a small shopping center with easy parking, very inconspicuous. The inside is very cute though and seasonally decorated. I had no idea what to order but the gal working the cashier was happy to provide a few recommendations. I ended up going with the Red Tiger at her recommendation, which was some sort of strawberry drink with a crème brûlée topping. They were unfortunately out of boba when I was there so I went with the strawberry jelly topping which had a nice texture and good flavor. One small downside is that the menu doesn't list what's in the drink, which would be helpful for some of their more speciality items. However the staff is helpful and was happy to elaborate. I would definitely return to try some of their other drinks. They had "bursting dragonfruit boba" on the menu too which sounded super interesting - Next time! read more

This boba spot is cute! I had the taro milk boba and it was really good! The pearls had that perfect chewy bite, which makes all the difference. The shop itself has such a fun, cozy vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. Definitely a new favorite and I can't wait to try more flavors! read more

Jungle tea seriously feels like a hidden gem in Mira Mesa. It's tucked away in a neighborhood and not on the main Mira Mesa Blvd. But it's worth a visit if you want very good boba teas where you can actually taste the tea. All of the flavors are a correct representation of their name and even the sugar free options taste good since the tea quality is high. It's very clean and cute inside which makes it a great place to get some work done. I'm so happy that over the years, JT has remained loyal to their customers by continuing to deliver excellent taste, service, quality, and fair pricing. read more

This place never disappoints! I got the Crème Brûlée Tiger Milk which comes with boba and it was sooo good. Jungle Tea probably has the best boba balls in my opinion. They never get hard and always stay chewy. They also recently launched the Jungle Coffee series with egg coffee!!! It was the best egg coffee I've ever had. It even had cocoa powder on it. The strawberry creme is also very good. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. I'm so glad that there is a new place to get Vietnamese coffee nearby! read more

Such a cute mom and pop boba shop located in a small neighborhood plaza in Mira Mesa! The customer service was absolutely exceptional. The two girls working recommended us drinks that tasted great and radiated a ray of sunshine the whole time we were there. Pricing and variety of drinks are very reasonable. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this shop by the decorations. It is also very clean. read more

Wow I can see why this place has 5 stars on Yelp and Google! First of all, the service was amazing probably the best one among all the boba shops I've tried in San Diego (quite a few!). You can really tell the owner cares about customer service satisfaction. He took the time to explain and recommend the drinks and even offered samples of the drink and add on ingredients since I was asking about them. I am usually very picky with my boba, looking for quality in the ingredients, texture of add on and taste. Since it was my first time trying this place, I had a few questions. I was told that the grass jelly was not from a can but rather made in house. I was even offered a sample before I decide on my order. I also asked about the sweetness since I know most places add sugar on their toppings in addition to the drinks. I was also offered a sample of that and was told if I didn't like my drink, the owner would remake my drink. He really ensured that I was satisfied with my order. The flavors are quite unique and there are lots of fruit options including dragonfruit, lychee, longan. I decided on the pandan/mung bean drink which is the first time I've seen at a boba shop but he said it was a new flavor and customers like it. It wasn't too sweet as requested but you can taste the pandan and mung bean distinctively. The store was very clean and cute which a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme decorations. There's also free parking in the plaza and wasn't too hard to find like most crowded parking lots. I finally got to drop by to try Jungle Tea, and I absolutely understand the hype! It's located in a plaza with lots of parking, and the decor is so cute inside. The service was very friendly and helpful, and I loved the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger Milk Tea (aka ube) with boba! Just be sure to gently shake it to mix everything inside. I went here a few days ago, and I think this is a fairly new boba spot! I got the wintermelon milk tea with small boba. No sweetness adjusted and it tasted perfect. I personally don't like my milk tea too sweet. Comparable to other boba shops like kung fu tea, or happy lemon, this is quality milk tea that's up there. The small boba was chewy and I don't typically get it but it was interesting. The only thing that I wanted was the hot boba option. The ambiance was super cute/homey. They had cute decorations for Christmas with a few backdrops. I didn't get to take pics. Service was pretty quick since I went in the evening and no line. read more
I've always heard about this place but I've never got to try it until now. As a local, it's definitely a hidden gem and family owned. It's located in a small plaza. It's a small store but the decor is really cute and festive. Service from the workers were great. I was given recommendations and they all were very friendly. There is a tv that displays all the drinks since the menu doesn't have description. I came with a friend and the drinks that we got was the Tiger Series. I had the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger which was Taro flavored and it was very delicious. My friend ordered the Crème Brûlée Golden Tiger which was Banana milk flavored with Crystal Boba.
