Unfortunately the mark was missed with this drink. Was really craving a purple rice yogurt drink and I saw that Daboba had one on the menu. The only yogurt flavor was from a little bit of yogurt flavored cold foam, the rest was just a regular milky tasting smoothie and despite looking like there was a lot of purple rice on the sides, it was kind of just the paste/coloring spread out and not much actual rice topping. Would be willing to revisit for other menu items though! I think I was just heavily craving a specific thing so I left feeling a little disappointed. read more

I got the jasmine green milk tea which I found to be quite bland and flat, lacking that true jasmine flavor. My girlfriend got the roasted brown sugar milk tea and really like the crunchiness. The service was outstanding as my girlfriend messed up her order and the bobarista fixed the drink for free. RBS Taro is the best I've ever had! Sucks it's only sold at this location and not Kearny Mesa. Also note, this location doesn't have a point system. Sometimes the service is super fast and other times slow af even if you're the only customer there. The interior isn't huge but always has seats whenever I visit. And it is pretty nicely decorated for a boba shop, and even has seasonal decorations, which is a nice touch. The employees were always friendly and happy to answer any questions. There is an iPad for self-ordering so that makes it very easy to customize your drinks. The parking is a bit confusing, they have a large row of spots behind the buildings so best to park there and walk through since the building is in the middle of other buildings. Solid boba spot, I've been here once and the Kearny Mesa location multiple times! My parents like the avocado smoothie as it's perfectly sweet and creamy. They don't just make the avocado smoothie by itself so we had to order the Avocado Mango Cheese Smoothie and ask for no mango and cheese and paid the same price. Best boba in Mira Mesa. I've been coming here the past 3 years consistently and they haven't let me down yet. My go-to is the typically roasted brown sugar pearl fresh milk 50% sugar less ice. The boba is always fresh and perfectly chewy - even towards closing time which I always appreciate. During my most recent visit I got the Taro Green Tea Milk and the purple rice yogurt. Both were so tasty! The taro drink is made with real taro, you really taste the sweet earthiness in the drink. It's also not very sweet which is perfect. Daboba is one of my favorite boba shops. I love how they are spreading throughout San Diego. This location in Mira mesa is a little bit of a hassle to get to just because there is a little walking as it is completely in the middle of a plaza. The servers are always quick and know exactly how to describe the flavors. I enjoy adjusting the sugar and ice levels. Personally I am always a fan of the brown sugar drinks. I wouldn't say that the roasted brown sugar ($0.50 more) is worth it but some people like that subtle texture and crunch in every few sips. This location has way more options than some of the other locations which is nice. I see lots of people studying here, since the space is pretty big and gives off a nice study cafe feel. Was craving a salted cheese foam drink so I stopped by here during errands- I ordered the wintermelon tea 50% sugar, less ice and it was really good! Sweetness level was just right for me, I think any sweeter would've been too much. The tea was tasty and it paired well with the cheese foam. My only complaint is that their cheese foam drinks should have an open top instead of a straw top so you can sip on it and get that cheese and drink in the same sip. My go-to Boba spot in Mira Mesa! My favorite drink to get is the RBS Thai Tea with no sugar and light boba. The drink itself is already pretty sweet so I find it to be perfect with no sugar. The ambiance here is great as well. It's the perfect place to sit, hang out, have some boba, and do some studying if you have to. I noticed they recently decorated for Christmas and it just makes the place more cozy! Another thing that continuously brings me back here is the customer service. This is the best boba place and best Daboba location. Super clean, friendly workers, and most flavorful boba. They give a lot. My favorite and they always roast the brown sugar so nicely. Today we came in and the two workers one Asian boy one white boy were super friendly. Ahh this is such an adorable boba shop! I got the regular roasted brown sugar pearl milk tea w/ 50% sugar and it was pretty good. It's a small interior but all the tables were taken, people were standing and sitting waiting for their drinks and even more people constantly coming in. I got the Japanese roasted milk tea. Pretty disappointing all around. It just tasted like a standard milk tea but definitely more milky than tea. No roasted flavor whatsoever.
