Nice drinks reasonable price and a good service they also sell Nails Yes you heard me they also sell nails now so it's Boba and press on nails and the other part of their store yeah very interesting indeed the drinks are reasonable price instead of like considerably that they are in a mall so that is a huge plus they also have a rewards so make sure you sign up for it if you come frequently

FIX YOUR BOBA!!! Soggy boba no good. For this price I'm expecting top-tier. I much rather Wooshiland boba in the mall!! Got an orange jasmine tea. The tea is great, but the Boba is falling apart and mushy. Small shop be prepared for a line. Sweet gal, working in there selling her nails. Was so excited to try since I'm always seeing people walking around with their cups and Boba. Maybe I'll give it a go next time but no Boba!!

I got a special boba milk tea. It's tasty and i liked the chewy boba texture. I'll go back to try more drinks.

Be gong tea was my lunch for my whole month of minimally invasive surgery rotation at UTC. I have a fave the burnt sugar boba tea, one of those would be my meal and I can say it was one of the good parts of that surgery rotation. The ambiance is nice, I like the decor and the wish tree they have at the location. Service was always fast, efficient and amicable, I definitely recommend going !!!

Mango Mochi (UberEats had BOGO deal)

I've never tried BenGong's Tea before but because I was already ordering from UberEats nearby I added a BOGO Mango Mochi deal to my delivery. For 2 Mango Mochis, it was $11 total which isn't bad! The drink consisted of cubed mango, mochi, blended coconut cream puree, topped with whipped cream. The mochi was super sticky but luckily it didn't jam the straw. Overall it was decent, and I appreciated that they taped the top so it wouldn't spill during transit.

    So refreshing

Always a great decision for fresh made drinks with fruit. Quick service and a relaxed vibe. There's is even a manifest tree available for you to put your wishes and dreams on. I've been a few times and my manifesting has come to fruition. I'll be back soon.

I tried this for the first time and got the Burnt Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It was really good. I would come back and try other teas!

After walking around this massive mall La Jolla San Diego, I was thirsty and came across Ben gong tea, I got the jasmine tea with orange. The tea is strong bold flavor, which I asked for, ( less sugar). Service is quick, wait time is not too bad. Check out this store, while browsing the Mall.

    Peach Oolong Milk Tea

Got the peach oolong milk tea, and it came with crystal boba and barley and a cream cheese top. The drink was absolutely delicious, and reminded me of the milk teas in China. The drink was also reasonably priced at around $6-7 for a pretty decently big cup. The interior was also adorable with a tree you can decorate with your wishes and a handmade press on nail shop you can browse. Will definitely return to try the other unique drinks on the menu and add a wish to the tree!!

I love BenGong's Tea and especially love the mango sago which is my go to. It comes in one size and the sweetness can't be adjusted but it's perfect just the way it is. Not bitter, sweet enough, has a nice texture from the sago, and is creamy. The shop itself is very clean, they have a good menu that can be customized to your liking if you want a slush without cheese foam or to mix flavors. The service is always quick and friendly and the prices are in line with what you'd expect to pay in the UTC area.

One of a few Chinese boba place! Love how subtle the taste in almost all of the drinks I tried, nothing excessive just the right amount of flavor! Service is quick and the place is clean!

Got their mango sago drink and it's super good. They also got egg tarts there. It was surprisingly pretty good. They also have really good fruit teas there.

I love that BenGong offers such a wide variety of drinks. My boyfriend got the passionfruit fruit cup drink and I got a tiramisu special milk tea. I liked that his drink was filled with lots of fresh fruit, and I loved the addition of chocolate chips in the tiramisu milk tea. Keep in mind that the wait can be long on the weekends and there's no seating inside.

Long line and watery drink. Mango pomelo sago was mostly coconut milk. Skip this place and go to WSL.

Are the milk teas made with nondairy creamer or regular dairy milk?

Hello Helen, we don’t use nondairy creamer here, we only use regular dairy milk to make our milk teas, but fir some of the drinks, you can substitute to oat milk, almond milk or lactose free milk.

    Does this place take cash?

I’m Sorry, We don’t take Cash, only Credit cards / debit cards/ contactless payment options available right now. Thank you for you understanding and sorry for any inconvenience.

You can't really beat the refreshing taste of fresh fruit and nutty granola and butter. Especially when you can take this delectable bowl to the beach and just vibe in the sand. Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. The pineapple spirulina was favorite as it had a good sweetness to it. Honestly wished I could get a bowl with just this as a base and of course the natural blue color is just so unique. Coconut was coconutty and the pitaya was brightly colored, not too much distinctive taste on this one. Peak San Diego Experience

So…read moreoften they end up being a trend based on good marketing tactics which is amazing but good marketing doesn't mean good flavor and good service. In this case yes the bowl was OK was but was no better than the 3 other bowl places within a mile of this location. The wait was LONG as for many of the bowl places on this street but this one was extra long as in 45 minutes to an hour wait on off hours long. And of course with all these tik tok famous places the price was inflated. Based on taste alone I could have given this place 4 starts but the extra tik tok tax(inflated price just for being TikTok trendy) and extra wait time for the exact same thing you can get anywhere else rubbed me wrong so I'm going to have to leave this 3 star right here.

She recently graduated from UCSD and this was her favorite smoothie (still is). My niece got the Frutopia smoothie and enjoyed her drink. I opted for a build-your-own açaí bowl. The bowl came with any 4 toppings, additional toppings varied it cost per item. I chose strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and new pollen. I also added sliced almonds and granola, topped with honey. The gal who helped build my açaí bowl (Acharipon, I probably butchered the spelling of her name), was very pleasant and had really great customer service skills. It's obvious she was well trained and had the skills set to work in food service. What sets this place apart from other places that sells smoothies and açaí bowls was the friendliness of their staff. Acharipon made a pretty bowl that was Yelp photo worthy! What I loved about my bowl: The açaí base was very frozen. Some other places make it watery, which I do not care for. I liked how it was frozen, down to the last spoon! The blueberries were frozen (I love frozen blueberries). Areas for improvement: The strawberries were frozen and chopped into tiny pieces. Fresh strawberries would've been nicer. The toppings options were limited. The shop was very clean and organized. There was a self-help kiosk where you placed your order, but payment was at the register. It seemed a bit odd that the kiosk didn't have the functionality to accept payments, because the order had to be re-confirmed at the register when it was already confirmed at the self-help kiosk. This slowed down the process slightly, which I didn't mind. Overall, I enjoyed the experience here and would definitely recommend it!
