Fresh Apple Tea with Lychee Jelly (L); Genmai Jasmine Green Au Lait with Pistachio Foam (R)
    Bethany M.

Very good tea - we tried a fruit (apple) and the fresh milk (genmaicha) to get a feel for the Mosa flavors. Both were well-balanced; we selected 50 percent sugar, and these drinks delivered a nice level of sweetness without being overpowering. As for toppings: the lychee jelly is really sweet, but tasty/fragrant; the pistachio cream is unique - I really enjoyed how it complimented the nuttiness of the roasted flavor of the genmaicha.

I finally made it to Mosa Tea! I had the brown sugar mist. The tea came with "Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Osmanthus Honey, Brown Sugar Cream Foam" (Mosa Tea, 2026). The tea was pretty good. It was not what I was expecting. The flavor was good, but the brown sugar cream did not make the beverage as creamy as I wanted and it did not dilute well in the tea. There were little tiny bits of the cream floating in the tea, but like I said, it tasted very good. The young lady at the counter was very nice. There's a decent amount of seating inside and no outside seating.

I Mosa definitely will be coming back! Pun fully intended... Mosa Tea is a beautiful boba spot located in Kearny Mesa. They specialize in Taiwanese teas and quality ingredients! Their branding is super aesthetic and it really shines in the shop. There are also some tables inside if you wanted to stay to work/study. I tried the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. I believe this is their signature tea! With deep, roasted undertones, the tea really shone through with this one. Bonus points for having a non-dairy option! Their boba was perfectly chewy and warm- great texture!

I originally came here hoping to try their Uji Chestnut Matcha, but sadly, they were all out. That didn't stop me from coming back a few more times though lol Overall, everything I've tried is pretty tasty. I love that their drinks taste more like tea than milk, which is what I like. The baristas are so sweet. Every time I go, they're happy to answer questions and even offer samples with toppings. I like their jellies surprisingly (I don't usually like jelly in my drink) Here's what I tried: - Genmai Green Milk Tea - 10/10 Would order again, especially with that pistachio foam on top! (50% sweet) - Matcha Latte with Pistachio Foam - 8/10 Their matcha is good with oat milk. (75% sweet) - Brown Sugar Mist - 6/10 Interesting, but not my favorite. - Strawberry Matcha Latte - 7/10 The strawberry is a little tart, but I still prefer their regular matcha. (50% sweet)

Strong tea flavor but the drink I got was an acquired taste. They also ran out of boba by the time we came around 8:30pm (30 minutes before closing) on a Thursday. - Grapefruit Bloom 柚香四季 ($6.75): Roasted Buckwheat Four Seasons Tea, Tie Guan Yin Oolong Jelly, Grapefruit, 25% Ice, 50% Sugar -- roasted flavor with bitter/tartness of grapefruit aftertones. Jelly was kinda medicinal tasting, but again, acquired taste. I didn't mind it, but SO was not a fan. Nice, simple aesthetic. Small and not ideal for studying. Parking lot is small - I would imagine it would be difficult to find parking at peak hours. I would come back to try their boba and other drinks.

I've really been into tea jellies recently and when I popped into this spot, they had a sample of mango green tea with osmanthus oolong tea jelly and I was sold! The tea had good flavor, was super refreshing, and the jelly was so good. Loved that it had fresh mango pieces in it too. My friends got a pistachio mist and brown sugar mist - tried them both and those were good too! The interior space is simple and clean, has a cute seating area to enjoy your drink. Service was also super quick.

Mosa Tea continues to be one of my favorite tea oriented boba shops in Convoy, offering refreshing Tie Guan Yin tea with their signature Osmanthus TGY jelly. Got to try their winter seasonal Apple Tea Cider. Even at 50% it was pretty sweet and I wished it was infused with more spices like nutmeg or cinnamon to give it depth. Still, I love Mosa, their teas, and collaborations with local creators; excited to see what's in store for 2026.

4.5/5 Another great tea place in San Diego, yay! I would definitely go back. The pistachio mist was amazing. I've never had a pistachio foam before, so it's cool that this tea spot has some unique offerings. I thought the prices were a tad high though. I gotta go back someday and try more! Service was nice too, they were helpful in answering some questions I had.

Mosa tea is a good boba shop with pretty exceptional toppings and flavorful tea. I will have to say that sometimes the tea is a bit watery but there are times where it's strong (good). A pretty consistent 7-8 on my rating list for the TGY Milk Tea. Service is fast and efficient, place is nice and clean. The only thing that gets me nearly every time is the parking situation. Sharing a lot with The Godfather Restaurant (TGR) and other shops usually means there's little to no parking (especially since Godfather cones up some of the spots in the afternoon for their Valet parking). There's additional parking in the back area but those are usually occupied by TGR guests or employees so, pretty tough battle. I will say that there are a handful of times where no parking resulted in me going to other shops instead, but when there is parking, this shop is a good tea option in the area. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Shop Vibe: 7/10 (Accessibility) Price to Overall Dining (POD): 8/10

I've come to this location several times since the opening weekend, and the drinks have been consistently good! Tie Guan Yin Special: My go-to drink here! It is not too sweet, and the tea jelly matches well with the milk tea. I also enjoy how I can save this drink for the next day, as the tea jelly does not get soggy like boba! Chestnut Latte: Yummy as well, but slightly too sweet for me. Overall I feel like I generally enjoy the drinks on their main menu more than their seasonal specials. The interior of the store is also so cute, with a good amount of seating. The workers here are also consistently really friendly, and it is always a good experience here!

Still hitting good, still great service, and they are now serving Bento! Love coming back here!

If you love Boba Tea, you've got to check this place out. Mosa Tea is a cute little spot, clean, modern, and quiet. I love the neutral colors and the little cube seats... it's really pretty and cool, giving the whole place a nice unique touch. It's located in Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Parking is not hard, I got a spot as soon as I pulled in so that was really nice. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and that was heavenly! Oh my, my son and I enjoyed that a lot! ( it definitely would make you wanna come back! ). We also ordered their Mosa signature TGY special, and that was good too, it was not too sweet just how we like it. Service was fast and they were really nice. I can't wait to try different flavors on our next visit! Thanks a lot! ;)

    Chestnut Forest
    Justin C.

First off, I really liked the bright interior decor at Mosa Tea. It was warm and inviting. I ordered the seasonal Chestnut Forest drink which was a matcha based tea drink. They were unfortunately out of chestnut foam so I substituted pistachio foam. Came with a decent size group of 6 and we were fortunate to grab the only large table right in the middle of the shop which really elevated the experience. The drink was spot on with the right blend of tea, matcha, and sweet foam. It was very balanced. The drinks came out fairly quickly. Parking can be a bit tricky in this crowded lot and the spots are very narrow. I'll be back for more matcha drinks!

I wanted something a little extra, and this spot delivered. I ordered a custom lavender iced matcha with honey cold foam and wow... it was such a good call. The lavender wasn't overpowering, just light and calming, and paired so well with the earthy matcha. That honey cold foam on top? Chef's kiss. It added the perfect touch of sweetness without making the drink feel heavy. Every sip was smooth, balanced, and honestly kind of addicting. What really stood out though was the service. It was my first time and I had zero clue what to get, but the girl at the register was so sweet and patient. She took her time helping me figure out a combo I'd love and made the whole experience feel really welcoming instead of rushed. You can also customize your milk (coconut, etc.), which I always appreciate. The shop itself is adorable. Think soft pink, super cute, aesthetic vibes all around. There's even an upstairs area that's set up for tea parties, which is such a fun touch and makes it feel a little more special than your average coffee spot. They also have pastries and small bites, so it's not just drinks if you're feeling snacky. Overall, this place is such a vibe. Great drinks, genuinely kind service, and a space that makes you want to hang out a little longer. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.

I've worked in Little Italy in the past but have never tried Caffe Italia. I got their Italian sandwich, with the default bread being focaccia. Inside there were prosciutto, salami, ham, provolone, tomato, and house made balsamic vinaigrette. It had a good balance of deli meats, and the focaccia bread was thick to hold it all together. I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit. Not only that, but they also have a small selection of gelatos which look pretty authentic like Spumoni! Other desserts I saw were mousse, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, and rugelach. The cafe is small and the service may take a bit if you are waiting for the food, but overall, I enjoyed my coffee and sandwich.

What I got was that -- and a whole lot more. Hannah and Jessica were working, and from the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right. I'm a straightforward guy -- black coffee with a splash of cream, print newspaper, no frills. When I mentioned I was old school, Hannah gave me exactly the kind of response that makes you feel seen rather than teased. These two have a gift for reading their customers and making everyone feel like a regular, even on a first visit. I asked Hannah for just a splash of cream -- I told her I wanted it the color of my skin. She nailed it on the first try. That might sound like a small thing, but it isn't. It means she was actually listening. I mentioned I was still reading a print newspaper -- an increasingly rare habit, apparently -- and Jessica didn't miss a beat. She told me they needed more of that, and invited me to sit down and read the paper and tell them what was good in it. I had somewhere to be, so I took my coffee to go -- but I genuinely wanted to stay. That kind of warmth isn't something you can fake or train for. It's just who they are. When I tried to leave a tip on the way out, Jessica looked at me and said I had great energy. I took that with me along with my coffee. The coffee itself? Excellent. Clean, well-made, perfectly calibrated -- in more ways than one. I came back later in the day. They were closing up, short-staffed and winding down. I left a tip then too, and they told me I was "extra." I told them if that's extra, the world needs more of it. They laughed. I meant every word. Here's the real tip though -- and I'm leaving it for you, the reader: just go. Go in, order something simple, and pay attention. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans).
