We got the Signature Sticky Rice Flavored Oolong Au Lait and Signature Black Tea Au Lait, we both thought it was just ok. I think mine would've been better with full sweetness. The boba was a little over cooked. They did have samples on the counter so I was able to try the SSR special which I thought was wayyy better. The custard was cooked nicely and the oolong milk tea tasted better than what I ordered. I want to come back and try that with custard so if you're unsure what to get, maybe order that. Lastly, they conveniently have mobile ordering and my order was ready before I got there!
The shop was very cute and clean but would not recommend if you wanted to catch up on studying/work as there was only one table. They have a game you can play only on weekdays where you can win bogo, stickers or discounts. I ended up winning 10% off my order which was very nice. I decided to try the genmai matcha with matcha jelly and my bf got the strawberry matcha latte. Both were pretty basic and didn't really wow us. The genmai matcha was extremely bitter and I could not finish it. It was a cute shop to try out but I don't see myself coming back. Service was really good though!
I finally made it to Mosa Tea! I had the brown sugar mist. The tea came with "Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Osmanthus Honey, Brown Sugar Cream Foam" (Mosa Tea, 2026). The tea was pretty good. It was not what I was expecting. The flavor was good, but the brown sugar cream did not make the beverage as creamy as I wanted and it did not dilute well in the tea. There were little tiny bits of the cream floating in the tea, but like I said, it tasted very good. The young lady at the counter was very nice. There's a decent amount of seating inside and no outside seating.
Heard about this place, figured welcoming the new shop to the Convoy community. Here was my experience. AMBIANCE Parking: Plaza-style parking--pretty manageable depending on the time. Seating: More of a grab-and-go spot, but still enough space to hang, study, or chill. Vibes: Convoy is a very busy place with a lot of eateries and activities. The spot itself is really clean! A modern tea shop with a focus on quality. You can tell they take their drinks seriously--everything feels intentional rather than rushed. FOOD / DRINKS: Pistachio Mist (Recommend) This one stands out. It's made with genmai green tea topped with a housemade pistachio cream foam. The base tea is light and slightly toasty while the pistachio foam adds a creamy, nutty richness on top. The balance is what makes it work--it's not overly sweet, just smooth and layered. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Staff keeps things moving but still takes care with the drinks. TL;DR OVERALL 4 Stars. Good choices, delicious flavors, all in a reasonal price. If you're looking to try something different from your usual order, the Pistachio Mist is worth it--creative, balanced, and easy to enjoy. TIPS: * Go for their signature drinks--this is where they shine!

I Mosa definitely will be coming back! Pun fully intended... Mosa Tea is a beautiful boba spot located in Kearny Mesa. They specialize in Taiwanese teas and quality ingredients! Their branding is super aesthetic and it really shines in the shop. There are also some tables inside if you wanted to stay to work/study. I tried the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. I believe this is their signature tea! With deep, roasted undertones, the tea really shone through with this one. Bonus points for having a non-dairy option! Their boba was perfectly chewy and warm- great texture!
Very good tea - we tried a fruit (apple) and the fresh milk (genmaicha) to get a feel for the Mosa flavors. Both were well-balanced; we selected 50 percent sugar, and these drinks delivered a nice level of sweetness without being overpowering. As for toppings: the lychee jelly is really sweet, but tasty/fragrant; the pistachio cream is unique - I really enjoyed how it complimented the nuttiness of the roasted flavor of the genmaicha.

Strong tea flavor but the drink I got was an acquired taste. They also ran out of boba by the time we came around 8:30pm (30 minutes before closing) on a Thursday. - Grapefruit Bloom 柚香四季 ($6.75): Roasted Buckwheat Four Seasons Tea, Tie Guan Yin Oolong Jelly, Grapefruit, 25% Ice, 50% Sugar -- roasted flavor with bitter/tartness of grapefruit aftertones. Jelly was kinda medicinal tasting, but again, acquired taste. I didn't mind it, but SO was not a fan. Nice, simple aesthetic. Small and not ideal for studying. Parking lot is small - I would imagine it would be difficult to find parking at peak hours. I would come back to try their boba and other drinks.
I've really been into tea jellies recently and when I popped into this spot, they had a sample of mango green tea with osmanthus oolong tea jelly and I was sold! The tea had good flavor, was super refreshing, and the jelly was so good. Loved that it had fresh mango pieces in it too. My friends got a pistachio mist and brown sugar mist - tried them both and those were good too! The interior space is simple and clean, has a cute seating area to enjoy your drink. Service was also super quick.
Mosa tea is a good boba shop with pretty exceptional toppings and flavorful tea. I will have to say that sometimes the tea is a bit watery but there are times where it's strong (good). A pretty consistent 7-8 on my rating list for the TGY Milk Tea. Service is fast and efficient, place is nice and clean. The only thing that gets me nearly every time is the parking situation. Sharing a lot with The Godfather Restaurant (TGR) and other shops usually means there's little to no parking (especially since Godfather cones up some of the spots in the afternoon for their Valet parking). There's additional parking in the back area but those are usually occupied by TGR guests or employees so, pretty tough battle. I will say that there are a handful of times where no parking resulted in me going to other shops instead, but when there is parking, this shop is a good tea option in the area. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Shop Vibe: 7/10 (Accessibility) Price to Overall Dining (POD): 8/10
Tried Mosa Tea recently and overall thought it was a pretty decent spot. The drinks are Taiwanese style, with a strong tea base. I ordered the Tieguanyin milk tea and the osmanthus Tieguanyin milk tea. Both had a rich tea flavor, which I appreciated. The osmanthus one tasted more like osmanthus syrup and it added sweetness Overall, solid drinks, but nothing particularly standout. It actually reminded me a bit of Wushiland in LA. The main downside for me is the parking situation. It's pretty limited, and nearby parking isn't the most convenient. Especially during dinner hours, about 2/3 of the spaces are valet for the restaurant next door, which makes it even harder to find a spot. Overall, a decent experience, but probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to.

I've never had a pistachio foam before, so it's cool that this tea spot has some unique offerings. I thought the prices were a tad high though. I gotta go back someday and try more! TOROTEA DUPE!!?? The TGY special is one of their bestsellers or signature drinks so ofc I had to try. So yummy & floral with the tapioca jelly! My friend actually prefers this over torotea so definitely worth checking out :-) Also super cute boba shop with minimal interior & chill vibes. Despite limited seating, weekdays aren't busy so it makes the perfect study spot. If you've ever been in Convoy, you know parking is a struggle so the parking lot is a major plus! This place is SO underrated. When you first walk into the shop the tea aroma hits you right away. Their drinks remind me a bit like Orobae with the roasted/nutty flavors. If you're looking for something more subtle I would recommend the Genmai Green Milk Tea, while the Pistachio Mist has a stronger tea flavor. My favorite of theirs is the TGY Special which includes the tapioca jelly that is trending right now, similar to the Torotea jellies. They also always have samples by the register and last time I sampled their Grapefruit Bloom and it was also very good and you could really taste the tea! The store is relatively small, and does have some seating but is very limited. I highly recommend trying out and supporting this small business. The parking lot is VERY small, but I feel like I always go at a random time and has never not been able to find a parking spot. read more

Mosa Tea is easily one of my favorite boba spots in San Diego! Their milk teas are consistently delicious, but what really sets them apart are the homemade brown sugar jellies. I actually prefer them over regular boba pearls--they're soft, flavorful, and make every drink so much better. I also like coming here when I need a change of scenery to study. They have free Wi-Fi, a clean minimalist interior, and restrooms available, which makes it easy to stay for a while. The space is on the smaller side, so seating and outlets can be limited during busier times, but it's still a comfortable spot if you can grab a table. The service is also great with friendly staff. They also sometimes give out samples of the teas! If you're looking for high-quality milk tea with unique toppings and a cozy café vibe, Mosa Tea is definitely worth checking out. read more

Mosa Tea continues to be one of my favorite tea oriented boba shops in Convoy, offering refreshing Tie Guan Yin tea with their signature Osmanthus TGY jelly. Got to try their winter seasonal Apple Tea Cider. Even at 50% it was pretty sweet and I wished it was infused with more spices like nutmeg or cinnamon to give it depth. Still, I love Mosa, their teas, and collaborations with local creators; excited to see what's in store for 2026. read more

I've come to this location several times since the opening weekend, and the drinks have been consistently good! Tie Guan Yin Special: My go-to drink here! It is not too sweet, and the tea jelly matches well with the milk tea. I also enjoy how I can save this drink for the next day, as the tea jelly does not get soggy like boba! Chestnut Latte: Yummy as well, but slightly too sweet for me. Overall I feel like I generally enjoy the drinks on their main menu more than their seasonal specials. The interior of the store is also so cute, with a good amount of seating. The workers here are also consistently really friendly, and it is always a good experience here! read more

I love the neutral colors and the little cube seats... it's really pretty and cool, giving the whole place a nice unique touch. It's located in Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Parking is not hard, I got a spot as soon as I pulled in so that was really nice. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and that was heavenly! Oh my, my son and I enjoyed that a lot! ( it definitely would make you wanna come back! ). We also ordered their Mosa signature TGY special, and that was good too, it was not too sweet just how we like it. Service was fast and they were really nice. Came on a Tuesday for a milk tea and Mosa did not disappoint. They're located in a rather small plaza but the store itself is pretty spacious. Their selling point for me is definitely their tea. Their milk teas don't let milk overpower them, and their boba was the right texture as well! The TGY special is their signature but I wouldn't be afraid to try other menu items. The Tie Guan Yin Oolong with Oamanthus honey (50% sugar) turned out to be a 10/10 for me! read more

Mosa Tea is a popular tea spot in San Diego. This spot sits close to the popular Convoy area, but is inside a very small plaza with very limited parking. There's a sign that tells you that you can park in any of the spots, so don't let the cones or the valet signs deter you! They're from the other restaurant in the plaza and you can ignore them. The service is very friendly, with our barista always smiling and giving good recommendations. The inside is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. I enjoy the seating and the ambiance a lot. The drinks themselves are always a highlight. I tried the Pistachio Mist this time with the daily Matcha Jelly. I enjoyed my drink, and I will say that the jelly is a great substitute for boba! Overall, Mosa Tea continues to be an excellent choice for boba in San Diego! read more

I got to try a couple drinks here recently: Oolong milk tea with osmanthus honey jelly and the black milk tea. I do like the oolong tea. It has great flavor, however I do wish it had a slightly bit more punch to it. I normally get 50% in my milk teas so that I can taste the tea and it was slightly too watery in flavor. The osmanthus honey jelly was pretty good honestly and I added a bit of tang and sweetness to the drink, which was great. The black milk tea is honestly not my favorite. I wanted it to have a bit rounder flavor to it as the black tea was a little bitter. read more
Strong tea! I think I messed up and didn't get their signature drink. I picked just the pure tea tie guan yin oolong tea with the jelly. The tea is good and strong but the drink wasn't anything special. I would come back and try their pistachio toppings. 25% sweet is not sweet. Price is a bit pricey though. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking available in the lot and no line in the shop. We ordered the Brown Sugar Mist and TGY Special. The foam in the brown sugar mist didn't mash too well with the tea. Maybe I'm just used to foam with a more milky drink. The tea itself was flavorful and refreshing though. I did enjoy the TGY Special more. I think everything went well together and it tasted great. Service was good and there is a lot of seating in the shop, with one large table available. I would come back to try one of the fresh fruit teas as they looked pretty refreshing for a hot day. read more

Mosa Tea isn't like the majority of the bubble tea shops in Convoy. Instead of sugary milk teas or fruit forward menus, their menu is filled with a lot of high quality tea options like their Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Signature Black, Roasted Buckwheat Four Seasons or Genmai Green. I ordered the Tie Guan Yin Oolong milk tea (non-dairy) with the pistachio cream foam. They offer all of their milk teas either non-dairy or with fresh milk, making this a great spot for all drinkers! As I waited for my drink, the space inside was very cute. They have limited seating, but the area is very clean, bright and white. All the seating was full when I arrived, even though the shop had only recently opened. The taste of the milk tea was very good and I especially enjoyed the pistachio cream foam. I think you've got to explore outside of your usuals if you come here, but they have great options to explore! read more
First of all, let me start by saying this place is so beautiful! So peaceful. if I lived closer, I'd come here every day!! The customer service is amazing! CAMILLA (I like to capitalize names so they stand out) was so nice and patient! She recommended some really good drinks that my girls loved! They weren't too sweet or too caffeinated! perfect for my kids. They even had extra ice, so by the end of the day when it melted, the drinks were watered down but still tasted good! I know because I ended up finishing their drinks, lol. Thank you, Mosa Tea, for my Strawberry Matcha Latte! It was 100% aesthetically pleasing, and I really enjoyed it! I love how CAMILLA asked if I wanted to adjust the sugar level in my drink. I didn't even know that was an option! I like to try my matcha as is the first time, but next time I might make it a little sweeter since I do enjoy really sweet drinks, lol. It seems like a lot of people go there to do homework or work. I didn't let my girls run around (I didn't want them touching anything knowing them, they would've started jumping on the benches ). It feels more like a grab-and-go type of place, but if there's room or it's not too busy, you could definitely get some work done . If I was alone, I would've totally stayed, hung out, and enjoyed my drink, but it got busy toward the end and people started settling in to work. My 4-year-old autistic daughter began vocally stimming she can be a little loud, haha so I didn't want to interrupt anyone. Also, if you're bringing a double stroller, just a heads up it's a tight fit near the entrance, especially when it's busy . Overall, I can't wait to go again!! Taiwanese tea is their focus here and the quality shows within their all their drinks. I had the chance to visit after waiting some for busy crowds to settle down after their opening. The tea store is fairly small and the parking may be limited, so I had to park over near Cafe Matcha Maiko. I tried two milk tea drinks: Taiwanese Retro Milk and Tie Guan Yin Oolong Special. If you're wanting something more tea focused, go for the Taiwanese Retro Milk, and the TGY if you are wanting more milk. I found the taste of the TGY more flavorful to me; however, I lessened the sugar for the Taiwanese Retro MT, and it had less flavor. Their boba was cooked nicely and perfectly chewy. Located in a plaza with a parking lot. Cute place with many tables and chairs. I ordered the fresh fruit tea with four season tea 50% sweet and my boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese retro -fresh milk included with boba 75% sweet. Our order didn't take long. We grabbed our drinks once I started shaking it to mix my drink it was leaking so I had to ask them to reseal it. They fix it right away My fruit tea was delicious I love the strong tea taste if you don't like the strong tea taste opt for the green tea instead of the four seasons tea and do 100% sweet. But I loved my drink it was super refreshing! The Taiwanese retro was alright it was too sweet even though we did 75% instead of 100% inand taste kinda water down. Definitely coming back to get their fruit tea again and try another milk tea! read more
Mosa Tea is one of the newer boba tea shops and is located in the Kearney Mesa area. This spot is in a plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a very sleek minimalist and modern interior with a good amount of seating. For their menu, they have a solid selection of different signature, milk tea, and fruit tea drinks to choose from. Wifey ended up getting the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea and I got the Grapefruit Bloom. Both drinks had nice flavor profiles and were really refreshing after our dinner. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you are ever in the area. All of the staff here are friendly and welcoming. We will be back forsure for some more amazing drinks next time we are nearby! read more
Came here for the first time. We ordered the Fresh Fruit Mango with Four Seasons tea and the Barley tea. The fresh fruit mango we added lychee and made half sweet. I should have gotten the barley tea half sweet it was too sweet but tasty flavor. The atmosphere is chill its a small space. I wouldn't recommend if you are trying hang pit with a large party. They do have a restroom and a table if you wish to sit with your laptop only 6 seats. The other seating is limited maybe sits 10-12 but tightly. Parking is horrendous I almost left because parking is shared with the Godfather restaurant and so small spaces. I was able to park behind the bldg. read more

Cute little cafe with flavorful teas! Drinks: ~ Mango Fresh Fruit Tea 5/5 (reg ice, 25% sweetness) Refreshing, bright fruity flavors paired with fresh fruit. 25% sweetness is great for people that don't want anything too sweet but still has a bit of fruit sugar taste. ~ TGY Special / Nondairy 4/5 (red ice, 0% sweetness) Strong tea flavor, nondairy creamer which is great for lactose intolerance. 0% sweetness is true to form, completely unsweetened. The jelly was lovely and added a hint of sweetness. My milk tea tasted grainy, perhaps bc of the nondairy creamer. Ambiance: The space is on the smaller side but the minimalist decor helps to keep the store spacious and neat-looking. There is some, but not whole lot of space for work/chat. Service: The staff are great . Very helpful and friendly. Parking: Parking was a breeze. There is a medium sized lot out front that was half full in a Friday afternoon. read more

Decided to check out this new tea spot because, well, I have no self-control when it comes to trying new boba places. The shop is small and clean. TGY Special (4/5): Not bad at all! They were giving out samples at 75% sugar, which tasted like tea on a diet. I went 100% full sugar (YOLO) and it hit just right. Sweet, but not overly. Pistachio Mist (2.5/5): Ehhh. The pistachio foam was the MVP -- creamy and nutty -- but the drink itself? Kinda like water, bland. I got it at 75% too, so maybe that's on me, but I expected more of a tea-forward flavor and less... hydration vibes. I'll come back to try the Brown Sugar Mist. Overall, I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars; not mind-blowing, but promising enough for a return. read more

First off, I really liked the bright interior decor at Mosa Tea. It was warm and inviting. I ordered the seasonal Chestnut Forest drink which was a matcha based tea drink. They were unfortunately out of chestnut foam so I substituted pistachio foam. Came with a decent size group of 6 and we were fortunate to grab the only large table right in the middle of the shop which really elevated the experience. The drink was spot on with the right blend of tea, matcha, and sweet foam. It was very balanced. The drinks came out fairly quickly. Parking can be a bit tricky in this crowded lot and the spots are very narrow. I'll be back for more matcha drinks! read more
