Great coffee in Oceanside! I ordered the Tribute latte, really enjoyed the orange oil in it. They use and sell bird rock coffee beans here. Syrups seem to be a mixture of homemade, Torani, and twenty two barista. I noticed they had many vegan options in terms of pastries Service was friendly! Somewhat limited seating inside, no more than 30 seats probably. 3 outlets available. Wifi and bathroom available. The only downside I would note is the noise level is a bit on the higher side even with noise cancelling headphones, difficult to study or take meetings here. It's much more of a social or grab and go coffee shop. The offer discounts for teachers, first responders, and transit workers as it is conveniently located across the street from Oceanside Transit Center. Great small coffee shop right on the corner in downtown Oceanside! Tried this place out for the first time and liked it. Pretty small on the inside and staff were very friendly. I got the Campfire Mocha which is like drinking a Ghirardelli square. Perfect if you're looking for a sweet treat pick me up. My boyfriend got the Salted Maple latte which was also really good. Not really blown away. Nice outdoor seating by the pier. $18 before tip for a grilled cheese, prosciutto, and pesto sandwich and a latte. I got the molasses latte. I didn't love it at all. Had an unexpected flavor that I was not in to. I drank it anyway. The vibes inside are very industrial and the outdoor seating is very sunny. Not a good spot in my opinion to stay all day and work or even relax for a while. Out of all the other cafes in the area this just fell short for me, flavor, pricing and vibes wise. They were both really good. The space itself is really relaxing and welcoming, but what really drives this place are the baristas. They are so nice. They even offer teacher discounts! Walking around Oceanside and found this place. What a pleasant surprise. The drinks were fantastic. My wife had the chai latte. One of the best chais I've ever had. Smooth, with the right amount of spice, not overpowering. My iced mocha was also really good. Pretty big size. Not too sweet. Drinks were so good we tried some food. The havarti grilled cheese with fig butter. It's a seasonal item. I'm usually not a big fan of sweet and savory but this one was excellent. I've finally brought my coffee lover sister here as my favorite coffee shop in Downtown O. I recommended the Tribute Latte and she and her partner really liked it. I ordered from their Seasonal Menu, the pumpkin spice latte. I drank it hot with coconut milk and it was so good! If you love PUMPKIN, you can taste the pumpkin puree and its not full of sugar like starbeezie. We sat in their outdoor patio area and flipped through the Osider magazine. CCC has one of the most fantastic corner spots around. Right in the middle of beautiful moral, theater installations and with that ocean vibe all around, on a beautiful sunny day it's honestly a treat just to sit and soak it in. The location and atmosphere make it feel worth it every time. The coffee and cookies are mid and service was okay. Nothing that blew us away, but nothing bad either. They're perfectly drinkable and snackable if you're in the area. We'd happily go back, but it probably wouldn't be our very first choice if we're craving something standout. Came in for a post lunch pick me up since I was in the area during the holiday season. The holiday decorations inside weren't over the top but definitely pleased any holiday lover. There isn't too much space for working. If you do sit somewhere you'll probably be sitting next to a stranger. There isn't too much space to wait for your drink while standing either. I'm not sure how packed it usually gets in the morning but there wasn't too many people there on a week day. Coffee - Eggnog Latte was definitely one of the best I've had. Eggnog flavor wasn't too overpowering and there was a good balance of sweetness and bitterness of the espresso throughout the drink. Stopped by as we did a mini Oceanside foodie thing and saw this place also had vegan options (pastries as well). Was happy to see they offer some vegan pastries from Split house. I ordered the Nitro cold brew + coconut cold foam and the lavender flavor pastry. I really wanted to like the coffee, but I could not taste coconut after a couple of sips. I did blend the foam well and it tasted watered down after the blending. Maybe next time I'll pick something that is not coconut based to see if the coconut foam might have been the issue. As for the pastry ... It was good, but a little dry. They have other options that looked delish and plan to try next time I visit. Service was great though! read more
