    vegan s'more the merrier taco
    Grace X.

I was so excited to come here when I saw that they offer vegan ice cream tacos! I've been wanting to try one of these for a long time and this is one of the only places I've ever seen with a vegan option. I got the plant based s'more the merrier taco, which was so good! I love that they even have vegan marshmallows for it. They also had several vegan ice cream flavors for scooping, and everything was very clearly labelled. The service was super friendly and I picked up a free sticker too.

This place is soooo cute! You walk in and it's bright, clean, and organized. I loved reading the menu as the different flavors of ice cream were unexpected. The owner was really kind and offered samples. One thing I appreciate is you sample with an actual spoon. It wasn't plastic or wooden, it was a gold spoon. I felt fancy. The little scoop was enough for me. I don't eat ice cream much so I liked the ability to enjoy without being wasteful. At first glance, pricing seemed high. However, quality ingredients plus the beauty of the shop makes it all make sense. Parking is a hassle. There's a small lot or street parking. You may need to drive around a bit. The parlor has a pizza place neighbor and more food across the street. I wish you could make your own taco! That would be amazing. I definitely think everyone should try it out.

Such a cute ice cream place with so many options! Parking was full and the shop was busy when we stopped by. Street parking is advised for easy access. There was a line, but it's mostly due to customers sampling and having a great experience in trying different flavors. Guests are given golden sampling spoons which is very different from usual ice cream places! Limited and location exclusive flavors are posted on their website. Spring Fling is one of their seasonal flavors of matcha and lime. It was an enjoyable combo and not too overwhelming in lime flavor. Things+Stuff contains pretzel cream and peanut butter. The scoop itself contained a decent amount of mix ins. There are so many interesting flavors to try with locally sourced ingredients. I hope to stop by again!

Positioned right next to Corner pizza and across the street from Tanners and Homestate, Little Fox is a great stop for a sweet treat after a meal or on its own. It's a small shop with a ton of unique flavors. My recent visit here was due to meeting a friend who really wanted to try Tanners and specifically also requested Little Fox. This was great because they are so close. I got the RBF which is a root beer flavored concoction. It was good. Not too overpowering and between the cream and the root beer flavors it was so well balanced. My friend got the diet riot since she is a big chocolate fan. She absolutely loved hers. There really isn't an area to sit and eat your ice cream except for one bench outside so keep that in mind. Most people just stand out front on the sidewalk and enjoy. Definitely stop by for their unique flavors if you are in the area.

My daughter and I strolled over to Little Fox for some ice cream while we aired for our Tanners burgers and wow, we were happy we did! I had the Banana Pancake ice cream and it may be the best ice cream I've had in my life. The place is cute and the people very helpful and the flavors or inspired and elevated without being ridiculous. Also, my daughter had the Lavender Haze and it was amazing, as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Very good ice cream Different flavors that are very rich but subtle Service was really good and the place was very cute. Gets very busy but lucked out and got there when there was 3 people in line. Otw out, the line was long again

The best way to end a night in Oceanside is definitely at Little Fox. The variety of ice creams (with many Gluten free options) and their willingness to help you sample until you find the right one is unmatched. Bonus points for using silverware for sampling instead of disposable single use plastics. That's my biggest gripe with other places, and Little Fox earns so many points for doing that. Their cones are high quality and help up while we enjoyed them. Parking is in a bit of a tight area as they're next to Tanners and Home State, but it's certainly worth it. Make sure your next craving for a sweet treat is fulfilled here. You will not regret it.

Today was my second time comming in and the ice creams soo good and it's organic so when I eat it I feel like I'm losing weight. The service is also always really good, even when there busy I feel like the workers are always still really nice and patient when sampling different flavors. The overall vibe so chill too because they have plants around the shop making it feel really homey.

Such a cute craft ice cream shop in South Oceanside. I have been here a few times and love it. The flavor profiles of the ice creams are unique and inventive while also paying homage to classics. The ice cream is house made and pasteurized. They have gluten free options too. You can choose between a cone, a cup or even some flavors are available in their adorable ice cream tacos! My first time there, I got "things & stuff" flavor which is peanut butter pretzel-y flavor in a cone! So good! The taste is unmatched and the quality ingredients are evident. Second time around I chose the "let them eat cake" flavor which is a birthday cake flavor. I loved it. Portable, fun, and definitely delicious. It was a warm day and did not melt all over the place because the ice cream was insulated in the taco "cone". The shop is clean, cute, and bright. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the the flavors, ingredients and will help you if you have trouble deciding! Parking in this area can be a challenge, but at 3pm on a Monday, I found a spot. Definitely plan to walk a little bit if you come on the weekends, but that's part of the adventure!

I've ended up here several times after dinner in the area. Ice cream always sounds like good after dinner treat, but I'm honestly disappointed every time. The flavors are kind of good on the sample spoon, but after a few bites, the ice cream always ends up underwhelming and icy. I get it, it's ice cream, but I guess I prefer more creamy over icy. Note that they don't have any tables, just three sticky benches outside.

Such a cute little ice cream shop with so many unique flavors! Each flavor also comes with a cute decoration which is so thoughtful.

Amazing ice cream flavors. We got to try a the flavors and decide what we wanted. There was a bit of wait but it goes by pretty quick! Cute interior as well, sample spoons are gold plated and employees are all reallly sweet.

I was looking for a good ice cream shop with dairy-free/vegan options, and I am so glad I tried this place! The quality of their flavors really took me by surprise. Each are fun, creative, and elevated - just like their decor and vibe. I tried all four of their vegan options, and couldn't decide between two, so I indulged in a scoop of both. The "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" was fantastic. It's probably one of the best vegan ice creams I've had in recent memory. The corn cream is the perfect background of toasty creaminess that isn't heavy and pairs perfectly with the floral complexity of the honeycomb. I also enjoyed the "Let Them Eat Cake," which was an elevated rainbow sprinkle experience, none of that synthetic slap of cake to the face, but the right amount of vanilla sugar and crumble. Both flavors were simple yet sophisticated, and I applaud the execution. Will 1000% be coming back. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Not to mention, most of the time the baristas are just as confused as I am, and I end up paying $10 for something I don't even like. Today, Venezia greeted us as soon as we walked in. She was so sweet. I told her I had no idea what to order, and she walked me through each layer of creating the perfect coffee. Her confidence and easygoing attitude made the whole experience so comfortable. I ended up getting an almond milk latte with cinnamon and brown sugar, and it was the best coffee I've ever had. My husband and daughter come here often for the gelato, but I'll definitely be back for this order and I'll happily trust her with many more. Everyone here is always so friendly. She really nailed it, and I was genuinely impressed. I don't usually leave reviews because I always forget or get busy, but she made the most perfect coffee, and I just wanted to say thank you!

I would happily make questionable life decisions for another scoop of it. But honestly, what made this experience stand out wasn't just the gelato--it was Venezia. Huge shoutout to her for being so patient while we stood there completely incapable of making a decision. Instead of rushing us, she took the time to help us figure out what flavors we actually wanted and gave us recommendations that absolutely did not miss. She was incredibly sweet, genuinely welcoming, and made the whole experience so much better. And listen, this place is about an hour drive for me. An HOUR. Yet I'm already planning my return trip because the quality of the gelato and the service made it 100% worth it. If you're anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. The gelato is ridiculously creamy, packed with flavor, and made with the kind of quality you can taste immediately. Dare I say it... the creaminess might even be better than An's Gelato . 10/10. Came for the gelato, left wanting to be friends with Venezia

As soon as you walk through the entrance gate, you are transported to a lovely tea garden. We did make reservations ahead as it is reservation only. Rushell greeted us and we were quickly seated. We chose the La Dolce Vita Tea Experience. We were able to sniff the tea leaves first in individual test tubes which absolutely helped me pick my tea. I loved that experience! Once everything was selected, we were brought out our teas and salads. The salad was refreshing and I especially enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, garbanzo beans, and house vinaigrette. I had the Eiffel tea and absolutely loved it. I typically prefer black teas with either hints of floral or fruit notes and this tea had the perfect combination. We were then given our individual towers/ tea tiers which consisted of three sandwiches (smoked salmon pinwheels, apple Brie melt, and Prosciutto, Feta And Balsamic Fig Sandwich) of our choosing, a cranberry orange cake scone with creme Fraîche and strawberry preserves, and a trio of desserts (lemon cake with blueberries, petite four, and a rosemary shortbread). I honestly loved everything I ordered. I loved the cake scone as it was very moist and the sandwiches were all divine with powerful flavors in each bite. I didn't love the creme fraîche, as I prefer clotted cream with my scones, but it does offer a great break from sweetness of the cake scone. I especially enjoyed how toasted the Apple Brie melt was. I love short breads and petite fours, so I'm a bit biased but they were my favorite desserts. Not only did we have a lovely time due to the atmosphere, tea, and delicious food, but we thoroughly enjoyed Rushell herself! She was so welcoming and shared so much with us.
