First & last time, I would give 0 starts if I could, because I got a cup of goo, I ordered the Dubai strawberries. Deserts: Paid 29.00+ for a large cup of goo (garbage) if you charge that much make it good. Also ordered a very small slice of cheesecake. I called in advanced to ask if they offered Dubai chocolate strawberries..... I was assured they did and they were delicious. They are NOT, as they were making the cup of goo, they began layering WATERY STRAWBERRY's that looked jammed. Similar to the ones in certain deserts. I posted a picture of what they are supposed to look like and they did not look or taste anything like it. Service: super nice, young lady was really kind. The only thing I would say they NEED to improve is communicating how it is made. I asked how they made/prepared it, layered it and if the strawberries were fresh. (Fresh is fresh, they are washed cleaned and cut then added to the dish) not cut and added to a bowl of sugar water. (It wasn't and hour in from adding them to the bowl as you can see from the photo. Location: it's a small spot on facing the street, small shack. Order at the window, pick up at the window.
If you're anywhere near Oceanside and have even the slightest sweet tooth, run (don't walk) to The Strawberry Shack. This place is a strawberry lover's dream. #StrawberryFieldsForever Shack Vibes: 10/10 -The vibe is laid-back and beachy--super Instagrammable with the little shack setup and colorful signage. Many, many strawberry options to fit your palate that you won't want to miss out on. Strawberry Treats: 10/10 -Let's talk about the real star here: the strawberries. I tried the classic strawberry shortcake & strawberry dole whip... I'm still dreaming about them. The shortcake and the strawberries are ridiculously fresh and juicy! The shortcake? Absolute perfection. Fluffy, not overly sweet, and topped with a mountain of fresh whipped cream and sliced strawberries. It somehow manages to be indulgent without feeling too heavy. Bonus points for everything being made fresh right in front of you. The strawberry dole whip is a solid choice when it's a bit warm outside but it was delicious! Must try! Service: 10/10 -The staff was super friendly, too--smiling, helpful, and clearly passionate about their strawberries. Budget Friendly: 10/10 -Prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting, and portions are generous. Definitely a must-visit spot if you're in Oceanside, whether you're a local or just passing through. Overall Rating: 10/10

THE FOODS | Sundaes, chocolate dipped strawberries, and soft serve. We ordered... - Dole Whip | Sweet and tangy pineapple flavored soft serve, piled up high in a small cup. Grateful for the amount of soft serve we received, but there was a slight twinge of anxiety as we raced against time to eat it all before it melted everywhere. THE DRINKS | Shakes, coffee, and bottled water. We ordered... - Strawberry Shake | Your classic strawberry shake with whipped cream on top. The shake is perfectly thick and creamy where you can still drink it through a straw. Deliciously sweet! THE STRAWBERRY SHACK FEELS | The Strawberry Shack is small with one window to order and another window to pick up your food/drink. Plenty of tables with umbrellas are adjacent to the shop. The vibe is casual. THE PARKING SITUATION | Get there early to snag a spot near the entrance of the Flower Fields (Strawberry Shack is located inside). We arrived about 8:30 AM and found a spot basically next to the entrance. Parking is free. WOULD I COME BACK? | Yes, their strawberry shake is really good! The dole whip soft serve is good too, but a little too much and you're better off sharing it.
Their strawberry shakes are amazing. Very healthy too. It's probably better to skip the chocolate in the shakes. Worth the wait if there's a line but there usually isn't a line on weekdays.
Go for the Strawberry Shack special THE STRAWBERRY SHAKE SHACK. I came for the strawberry cheese cake but decided to get the special and I must day it was the best decision of my life and I don't make many good ones either haha. Let's get straight to it, the venue is small with no place to dine in or out,it's more of an order your treats and carry on with your business kind of place. There is two tables outside where you can stand and use. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When it comes to parking you can park on the street or the small shopping center next to it.
The ice cream was very good although I expected something different! I didn't know it was soft serve . The strawberries were fine but I expected fresher strawberries bigger sliced not in so much sauce! The cake was the cake you can buy in the market and make your own sundae Whipped cream is always good I loved the flower garden that's why I stopped for this treat! It was still good !
Strawberry Shortcake was amazing!!! Fresh strawberries, vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream and a shortcake at the bottom! Perfection! $13 and worth it!

Tyler and his team were amazing, in making suggestions to perfecting our selections from their menu. This adorable establishment serves 5 star specialty gourmet desserts at affordable pricing. Every dessert is phenomenal and the list of the yummy yummy delights are wonderfully crafted: Strawberry Shakes & Shortcakes to Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Homemade Chocolate Covered Strawberry Marshmallows, Homemade Strawberry Pudding, Strawberry Cannoli's, Strawberry Shortcake Gelato along with other Strawberry delights. In these trying times, when most people have some type of a budget, or are without work because of COVID-19 we are all trying to find some type of normality. People (families) are looking for places/locations that respect the value of money without compromising the quality of a product or the quality of service. You will find this at The Strawberry Shack!
I found the cutest little gem on our way back home for the strawberry cheesecake brownie was very good, and the strawberry sundae was to die for !! 10/10 Not only was it aesthetically pleasing put the customer service was great too!
Seriously if I was in an electric chair and I got to choose one last desert it would be from the Strawberry shack. It's so good. It reminds me of being home in Ohio. It's also super fast and friendly service.

Food: Strawberry Swirl Sundae - nice and cold, great for a hot summer beach day! Strawberry shortcake - tasty! cake was soft and airy, I would definitely get this again! Don't forget to get it with the whipped cream on top. Service: Good service, friendly employees! Accepts Apple Pay. Ambiance: No seating area. You can sit at Starbucks next door if you can find a table. It's a grab and go kind of place. Park at village faire behind the shop! Free 20 min parking. read more

I just tried to bring my family on Sunday night while visiting at 7:55 and they told me they closed at 8:00 while everything online says 8:30. She was very rude and offered no solution. Even if closing time was 8:00, it wasn't even that time yet. read more

Came here after a long, hot drive to the flower fields. They had it highly organized for Covid in which they would seat you inside the seating area and take your order while you waited in line. This saved a lot of trouble of finding a place to sit especially after spending 30 minutes finding a parking spot out front. I ordered a strawberry shake and it hit the spot and was the perfect amount of strawberry flavor with dairy. Great treat to start a long day at the flower fields. read more

This location is inside of the Carlsbad flower fields :) They offer strawberry shortcake sundaes, strawberry shakes, and strawberry Dole whip! Food: We ordered the strawberry shortcake sundae and a strawberry Dole whip. They were both delicious, but next time I'd like to try one of their fresh strawberry shakes. Atmosphere: On a hot day I can only imagine how busy the strawberry shack gets, but on a Wednesday afternoon we only had to wait 5 minutes for our snacks! read more

Kids have been wanting to go here and so excited to be able to try a new place during a pandemic! Everything tasted amazing from the soft serve to the shake! The only thing I will say is maybe have a better description on the menu. For example the shake had chocolate syrup in it and one of the kids can not have chocolate. So that was a little disappointing for her since she thought she was just getting a strawberry shake. Other than that, we can't wait to go back again! I read more
