It wasn't so bad as the beautiful beach views and friendly people in line made the long wait bearable. BC does have some outdoor table seating but the beach is like 25ft across the street. Looking for something close to the Body Shop I was at, and thankfully, this place wasn't too far away. As soon as I arrived, there was a line for this place. Must be good for it to have a line. The wait time was around 15 minutes (more or less), but it was worth the wait. I looked at the menu; they added fries to the breakfast burrito! Excuse me! I HAD to order one, and boy, it did not disappoint! The eggs were fluffy, they had guac, and there were all types of meat choices. My family opted to try this spot on our last day in Oceanside. We drove by it a couple times and noticed the crowd every morning, so we said why not. It's such a cute "hole in wall" near the beach and with its long line, it must be good. Buccaneer Cafe offers great breakfast items. I opted to try the breakfast tacos, these tacos are huuuuuuuge. This is my all time favorite açai bowl place. It's a right across from the beach in Oceanside at Buccaneer park. Excellent service and food comes out fairly fast. It's usually pretty crowded when I go here, but it wasn't bad on the day we went. I always order the privateer which includes two scoops of açai, granola, blueberries, bananas, strawberries, coconut, and honey. I also got peanut butter on it. I split a carne asada breakfast burrito with my daughter. So good! It had scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and fries, and of course the Carne Asada. It was a beautiful day outside. There's no inside seating. You can't go wrong at this place. I've tried different things and everything has been very good. I had the bacon burrito and my wife also had the bacon burrito but has a gluten allergy so had the burrito bowl option. The food is so good and there is so much of it. I love stopping here for a quick latte, but it doesn't usually end up being quick as they are quite busy. Be ready to wait a bit but it is worth it! There is a decent amount of outdoor seating and it's usually easy to find parking in the park's lot too. You can get your regular cup of coffee to ordering pancakes for kids. I've tried: * Soyrizo burrito. They don't skimp on this burrito at all! It's PACKED with soyrizo, eggs and crispy fries. Mmmmm so good, one of the best I've had. * Acai bowl. The portion is legit. A good amount of acai with the fruit toppings. Although I would've preferred fresh fruit instead of frozen. My strawberries weren't thawed so they were a bit icy. * Cafe Cubano. I tend to gravitate to this drink when I'm here. Giving them 4 stars. The food was good. I had the avocado toast. -1 star because the girl working there sprayed chemicals to clean the table while I was sitting there. Plus the breeze just made it get all on me. That's all I could smell and it was terrible so I had to leave. Ruined the time I was having there.
