Breakfast was very tasty. The girl taking the order was kind and said she'd ring up the modified burrito in a way that would be more economical for us and save us a few dollars which is always appreciated! The loaded avocado toast was picture perfect and stacked so high we could hardly figure out the best way to devour it. The stand is located across the street from the ocean so the views are great and the street has fairly low traffic so you're not burdened with car noise or exhaust. We came here on a whim because we happened to find ourselves on this side of town and it had great and well deserved reviews but I think now we will find excuses to come that way just to justify a visit here! read more

We stopped here on our road trip to San Diego. It's not too far off the freeway, and what an amazing place to have coffee and a bite. Breakfast, people watching, while right on the ocean! We had a bagel, breakfast burrito, and some of their fun coffees and teas. The Mexican coffee and Yerba tea were delicious. There is free parking near the place. Great food, the California burrito was HUGE and our toddler loved the kids pancake and fresh fruit! Coffee was pretty good too. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast taco was huge and full of flavor. The place itself is a shack right across the street from the beach but don't let looks fool you. It does have some picnic tables where you may sit at but I noticed it can get full pretty quickly. Good thing it's across the street from the beach and there's a park right behind it so there's plenty of seating for a picnic. They have a few meat options for their tacos as well as burritos. I usually never do this but I will if I'm targeted for my race and color of my skin . My husband and I decided we wanted breakfast this morning and chose this place because of course we wanted to support a small local business and their food is good,but we soon realized they don't cater to POC.our food came out quick but our coffees were taking long so I went to the front to let the girl know she said "sorry my fault" after we were already waiting for 15 minutes we proceed to wait another 15 minutes and nothing, mind you by then my food was already cold and all the people that were in line with us were done eating and leaving so I decide to go up there to cancel and get my money refunded and suddenly "my coffees were ready". I'm an Oceanside local and I'm saddened by this I'll make sure to let everyone I know about my incident and not recommend. We came here twice on our vacation because the breakfast was so good! I tried a couple of dishes, but the kitchen sink burrito was my favorite! My sister-in-law really loved the avocado toast and my husband enjoyed the oatmeal with fruit. One of the best parts though is the location! It's just a little stand right next to a really cool part of the beach where the waves crash and roll down past a lot of loose rocks. It's absolutely beautiful and such a vibe. Lines usually aren't too long and neither is the wait. Plus all the people we encountered were friendly and talkative, usually out for a morning stroll and just enjoying life. read more

I've been here a couple times and I don't know what it was about today but the burritos had no seasoning and the mexi mocha was also flavorless. The girl at the register had no personality it took her a couple minutes to acknowledge me and when she did, I didn't even get a good morning or a hi. $65 for 3 burritos (flavor less) one with no eggs a mediocre mocha and a kids pancake with fruit, not worth it. Sucks because the first time we were here, about a year ago, the food was delicious and they had really good customer service. Definitely won't be recommending this place again. If I could give zero stars I would, which is so unfortunate because we used to love this place and legit drove all the way from Carlsbad today to eat here! Rounded up my family of 5 to enjoy a beach front breakfast and headed over! Got it line while waiting for a table and was able to pop my stuff on one then hop back to the cashier to order. Was rudely cutoff by the woman behind me, and the scolded by the young blonde girl working there. You never know what someone's morning/day consisted of already and I was ready to get some food ordered for my little family. She basically made me feel like I was wrong/rude/mean/a piece of garbage for correcting her that I was still in line. I have never before been reprimanded at a restaurant or made to feel so lowly! I told her what happened and yet she continued to tell me that I should apologize. Funny, I was smiley and happy to be there and left with a crying 3 year old and upset. They changed the layout out front so seating is now more limited. It's going to be a long time before we come back, if ever! Just because you are the only place around, doesn't mean people won't choose to go other places. So off we go somewhere else to have a $100 breakfast! read more

I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and the chai latte with oat milk. It came with almond milk but it was still delicious. My only gripe is that there is no pico de gallo, which I think would elevate the burrito experience. I think it was solidly good and perfect if you're in the area and on the move. Stopped by for a breakfast burrito while visiting Oceanside. Buccaneer cafe is a little shack located just across the street from the beach. It was very crowded, with a long line of people ahead on a rainy Saturday morning. The employees were all very friendly. I got the kitchen sink breakfast burrito and a chai latte. Everything came out in about 15 minutes, which was reasonable for how busy they were. The burrito was pretty large and came cut in half. It consisted of sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, cheese, and fries. It was pretty tasty and filling. I didn't care too much for their salsa, but still enjoyed the burrito. It wasn't the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, but I did enjoy it and would rate it as slightly above average. It was a nice treat with an ocean view. read more

The burritos here are FAT! It was def worth the price. I got a vegan burrito and it was really good for being vegan. I wish the hot sauce had more heat to it tho. I loved how the tortilla had a nice crisp because with all the juices, the tortilla held up and didn't break. The hot sauce that comes with it was mild and very flavorful. Visiting Oceanside for the week and looked online for a good breakfast spot close to the water. This was the best option I found and it did not disappoint. Wife and I had 5 teen boys with us and everyone loved their breakfast. We had breakfast tacos and the burritos and some fries. All of it was great but the homemade hot sauce stole the show. That stuff is probably the best hot sauce I've ever had. They don't sell it otherwise we would have bought a couple bottles to take home. read more

The people that work here always seem happy and joyful. I mean if I worked across the street from the beach, id be stoked!! Anyways, I usually get the bucc muff because it is a reasonable price and fills me up. I enjoy being able to choose fries as a side for only $1.75 coffee is pretty good and salsa is made fresh every day.
