    Happy Hour Menu

Loved this place. Named for Count Camillo Negroni, the Italian gentleman who invented the Negroni. They have the classic Negroni and a bunch of variations including one I tried as an artichoke Negroni. Delicious! Happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 everyday where selected negronies are $10. We had the pizza margarita and the meatballs, which were outstanding. We actually went two nights we liked it so much!

Stopped here with my boyfriend and two couples after seeing Common and Pete Rock at Herbert Von King Park. The mushroom and prosciutto pizzas were phenomenal, but the pepperoni one was a bit gamey. The salads were mediocre. Slow service. Good ambiance.

Gnocchi - A baked Italian dish with a layer of melted cheese on top, covering a tomato sauce and ground meat filling. The dish is in a clear glass baking dish placed on a white plate, with a wooden table surface visible. Part of a wine glass and another plate with food are also seen in the background.

You have to get here in time for happy hour 5pm-7pm. They have $10 spritzes and $12 margherita pizzas. We decided to get gnocchi with sausage and fried zucchini as well. The zucchini was alright but the gnocchi was great. All around a great vibe and good food. Service was pretty good as well and we were loving the playlist which sounded like Amaarae radio on Spotify. The back patio is lovely as well, but we opted for the seating inside since it was a little warm. All in all, a solid choice for a date night or drinks with friends.

Cute spot in the neighborhood with a nice interior and covered backyard as well. The ambience was casual and pleasant with music at just the right volume to easily be able to hear each other speak. The menu had many tasty looking options, but I eventually decided to order the Salsiccia and Friarielli (sausage and broccoli rabe) pizza. Service was a bit slow, as it seemed they were quite understaffed in the front, but the kitchen was actually quite fast at getting our food out. When the pizza came out, it was actually a bit bigger than I expected which was nice, since I ended up taking a few slices home for a late-night snack. The pizza was quite tasty with a light and crispy crust and flavorful toppings. If I'm ever craving a gourmet pizza and a nice ambience to hang out and chat with friends, I will likely come back.

A true hidden gem in Brooklyn. A friend reccomended we go to this place and I followed her lead. It had a great quiet atmosphere making it perfect for a date spot. The outdoor area is covered so I regret not having booked there in fear of the reason, as it is a really cute space. The servers were very nice, quick and helpful. We were told the spritz drinks there are very unique and they did not disappoint. I got a saffron infused spritz that was very smooth with a unique flavor. I would definitely recommend it. We were on the same page in terms of food, so we got the mushroom white pizza and the lasagna, both of which were excellent. The unique pizza dough they tout lived up to the expectations. I don't know if this was the kind of pizza Aeneas and his people made when first settling in the Italian boot but for their sake I hope it was, because it was wonderful. A good, chewy, but not too chewy robust crust with real texture to it. The cheese was gruyere and so good, and the honey on top really gave it a pleasant but not overwhelming sweetness. The lasagna was also very dense and good, and unique. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a veggie lasagna this much before. For two mains, two drinks, and in Brooklyn, the bill came out to around $70 total, a surprisingly fair price. I highly recommend checking this place out!

He is the best mixologist in NYC. He danced with lemon slices cutting through pours of clear liquids from heights. He tossed and shook, and was precise and caring. A true artist. David made our night. The only reason I would ever walk back into this place is to sit at the bar and let David mesmerize me. FOOD: Broccoli rabe was fresh, but I needed a steak knife to cut through it. It was very al dente. Not cut properly, which is to cut crosses in the stems. Salad was fresh and crisp, high quality fennel and greens. Lovely. Agnoletti was divine. Home made. Focaccia very good with subtle flavors and just the right crust. Olive oil, good. The front of house staff was lovely, two ladies, and a friendly guy. Super lovely. Treated us like friends. Also the busboys were all gentlemen. I loved them. They brushed crumbs off the table with panache. The only complaint is the waiter was robotic, and issued rule after rule. No smile. EX: It was a freezing night. We wanted to order appetizer's first, and have a chance to look at the menu. He couldn't do that. "I need the whole order." Then one of us wanted to order the pre fixe dinner. "You can't do that. You both have to order it." He was very cold, a robot. To enjoy ourselves, we had to push through the horrible treatment. Too bad for the waiter, when I asked about the special pasta, he butchered the pronunciation, giving me a soft pitch to teach him Italian. I blasted him. C'est la vie.

As I said before, this is a community spot. Everyone here is relaxed, having a long, leisurely, European style meal. I had a small board, chef's choice. I requested a fromage board, but got a charcuterie board . . . and that's okay, as I was lucky enough to get some tasty prosciutto. The cheeses ranged from chunky and savory to creamy to tangy. Went great with the honey and French bread. Most menu cocktails are average, but there is an "off the menu" selection you can ask for (mostly bourbon based, owner/bar tender creations). I enjoyed working with my server to get try some more unique choices. Between the charcuterie board, the bourbon drinks, and the boeuf bourguignon, the meal was great. I will say the boeuf bourguignon wasn't quite as wowing as last time . . . no pearl onions or carrots . . . but still good. I'm pretty sure the menu has changed or is maybe smaller. But no matter . . . the mood and the welcoming atmosphere and lack of crowds makes up for this. I think I might return and try the French onion soup. I'm sure it's killer.

Our waitress came over to check on us numerous times throughout dinner. The foie gras was under seasoned and didn't taste like much of anything. Both the beef and chicken were very homey dishes but yet again, under seasoned. The mashed potatoes could use more butter and some salt in the food would've made all the difference. The place itself is pretty cute with a lot of local artwork. We probably won't be back
