What a surprisingly delightful place! Dare I say the neighborhood's best kept secret?? Came here with friends last night and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Apparently you have to be beautiful with an amazing personality and 11/10 eyebrows to work here?! Kathleen was probably the best server I've ever had in my life. She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived and helped us navigate the complexities menu with her incredibly detailed descriptions. The food itself was incredibly authentic and everything we ordered was delicious. The cocktails were tasty and unique. I am SO GLAD they had affogato on the menu for dessert! It came with a sprinkling of sweet crunchy bits that add delicious bursts of texture. Overall would absolutely come back here! Thanks for a great time!

Had a lovely Saturday brunch here, and I was really blown away by the lovely servers as well as the ambience of the restaurant. It actually goes pretty far back, and there's even a covered and heated area in the back. There's only one bathroom, but it was nice and clean. We received a complimentary scone which was delicious, and I ordered the prosciutto eggs, benedict, and I also tried the pizza diavola. The entrees were good but not too memorable. The food came out pretty quickly, and like I said, all of the servers were so friendly. They even asked if we were sure if we liked our food, and if we needed to switch any dishes out. The portions are also pretty generous, and we were very full at the end. Unfortunately, we did not have enough room in our stomachs for dessert, but I would love to come back to try a pasta dish and the tiramisu.

The service was super friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. Food was delicious. My favourite order is the Burrata Ravioli, and it comes out great every time. Perfect for lunch and dinner. Totally recommend!

Excellent restaurant in Fort Greene. I've had this on my radar for the last year since it opened. It did not disappoint. Just had to find the right occasion to get there as it is a bit out of the way. Ambiance was great. Understand that they do live jazz on Wednesday evenings. The temperature controlled terrace is nice and necessary since the interior of the restaurant is quite small. Servers were pleasant. We ordered the following: Brussel sprouts and kale salad with pesto - very light and refreshing. Didn't get a ton of pesto flavor, but that was ok. Topped with Parmesan and pistachios Funghi pizza - would 100% order this again. One of the best pizzas I've had this year Chicken - really good. Tons of flavor and good portion size. So juicy. Just about everyone was ordering this in the restaurant Lasagna - unreal. Deep flavor in the lamb ragu. Crispy top and edges were great (most restaurants don't have this). The mint on top brightens the dish Ordered Shiraz by the glass. Pretty good. As the glass stood, the flavor opened up a lot more. Would definitely come back here. Everything was spot on for a good date spot. Also just about everything is shareable

This is me and my boyfriend's favorite restaurant. We've come here for all of the big and small things (meeting the parents to impromptu date nights). Everything on the menu is amazing.. we've tried nearly all of it! The staff is great and the ambiance is perfect. I can't recommend this more!

To no one's surprise, the new little sister of Evelina and Co. is fantastic! The service and drinks are great and I have yet to have a dish that disappointed me. So far, the dinner menu standouts for me have been the Brussels Sprouts & Tuscan Kale, the Skirt Steak, and the Snowdance Farm Organic Rotisserie Chicken. I feel hungry just remember how much I liked each dish. I'm excited that they now serve brunch and I love forward to seeing what new things they bring to their menu. Also, unrelated to food, I love how they slightly altered the courtyard / backyard to make it insulated. I can't remember if the roof retracts because they opened during the winter but the temperature is always great and the noise level doesn't seem too loud. It's a great area to be seated in when on a date or even have a small standing event with a couple of high top tables. I'm glad this place is off to a great start and I hope to enjoy brunch just as much as dinner.

Top top restaurant in fort greene!! The chicken and pizza is SOO GOOD. Always take people from out of town here because it's perfect every time. Do not miss out on the chocolate mousse dessert!!

I think everyone should be talking about this place right now. There's a lot of restaurants in the area that have been TikTok-ified and getting a lot of hype, but this place is actually better than anything I have tried on Myrtle in a very very long time. The Pizza Funghi was actually against the law how good it was. Another incredible aspect of this experience was that the serving sizes were actually big. There were 3 of us and we got the pizza, the croquetes (my boyfriend said this was his fav), a burger, the brussels sprouts salad (outstanding, reminiscent in vibe to the Don Angie Chrysanthemum salad but TBH I THINK THIS WAS BETTER!!), and the eggplant. All dishes were great. Everyone who worked there was kind, helpful, engaging, and all around made the experience even more pleasant.

Risotto with mushrooms

Ambiance: (4 out of 10) The ambiance was nice, although the chairs are not too comfortable. As a person with disability, I had to bring my own blanket. The space between tables is very small, and we had to hear all the negative conversation from the other table unfortunately. Their bathroom door doesn't work well. I had to apply force just to get out because it gets stuck. They should truly fix it. And it is very dark in the bathroom and it lacks tissues to wipe hands. I prefer to use nice tissues which can also be used on the way put of the bathroom and wrapped around a knob which everyone uses due to Covid season, which picked up in the Summer of 2024. Service: (1 out of 10). The waitress was polite and visible asking if everything was ok with us. However, she ignored our complaints. Food: (6 out of 10) We ordered a few dishes. The Radicchio salad was sweet (3 out of 10). The waitress told us that's because they put honey in it. We didn't like it because we believe that a salad should not have sugar in it, and honestly it was too sweet. I think we as Americans consume too much sugar already. Olive oil and lemon would be just fine. The other salad lacked kale (4 out of 10) and was soaked in salad dressing with cheese. It felt like we were eating cheese soup and in it was kale. Too much dressing. We didn't finish both salads. The roasted chicken was good, but the purple carrot in it was too burnt, but I think it was the nicest tasting dish out of all dishes we tried (8 out of 10). Finally the risotto with mushrooms was heavily drenched in greasy sauce which was also added on top by more cheese. I think I have to check my cholesterol after this meal! I haven't eaten the risotto. We spoke to our waitress about it, but she smiled at our comments and walked away when she asked us at the end how everything was. I guess she really didn't know how to respond nor perhaps cared because we already gave her a nice tip. The dessert menu is limited, so we didn't order anything. I have tasted tiramisu all my life, and other desserts didn't sound too interesting.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. If you haven't been, you have to try at least once.

We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
