I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been a few times and have had decent service and terrible service. I've had great food (their pizza), and not so impressive food (spinach salad with strawberries) where they forgot my breadstick and it looked like it had been thrown together last minute. This whole experience just seemed odd. The restaurant decor seemed nice and more of the quality of a nicer establishment, however, the openness of the rooms made it really hard to hear and talk with others at our table. I ordered a Greek salad at this restaurant and received something more than just lettuce. Wrapped up in a piece of lettuce was a chunk of a brown soft foreign material. It was either mud or poop. Zoom into the pic to get a good picture of it. So gross!!! After I sent it back I realized the level of the situation and that I could get extremely sick from eating their unwashed lettuce, so I went up to the manager and asked for the chunk of whatever back. They kindly brought the garbage out back and started looking for it. So right when they find it and are about to hand it to me another manager walks up and says she just got off the phone with the owner and he instructed them not to let me have it and to get off their property. Clearly they have dirt to hide!!! I'm not just stopping with this review, I have already contacted the Marion County Health Department about this horrific experience. i grew up in lafayette i love arnis junior salads and the bbq pizza i just happened to be in area working and thought id order some to go you can imagine my surprise when i opened the pizza box to a blackened pizza the whole outer edge was rock hard. whats even worse the lady that checked me out id guess is a manager she had on nice clothes everybody else had on an arni's shirt she opened the box before she handed it to me regardless if shes a manager she looked at it so she had to have seen it was burnt and allowed it to go out like that doubt i'll go back to this location again read more

I don't know who these locals are who rave about this place, but I'd you're looking for a really delicious, gourmet pizza, this ain't the place. I've been more impressed with a Totino's frozen pizza. So it was late, around 9 pm but still an hour before closing. All the staff were hanging around rolling napkins and filling salt shakers, yelling across the dining room at each other. I get it, you're tired after a long shift and want to get things done so you can go home. That doesn't mean you have to ignore the one table you have, leaving us without drink refills, bringing our salads moments before the pizza, and disappearing until it was time to deliver the check. The pizza was completely bland, shocking for something purportedly containing pesto and artichokes. The salad was iceberg lettuce with what tasted like Kraft dressing. Arni's pizza is an Indiana legend & now (for a $3 up charge) you can get gluten free crust! On this trip I stuck with my usual, the Mediterranean Salad, but I will definitely give it a go on a future visit. The service is usually pretty good. I chose to celebrate me me and my sons bday with our family at this location. As it is between Indy and Lafayette it was a good choice for us all to meet. As much as I love Arni's in Lafayette I will not return to the Lebanon location again. Our service was horrible, she was as friendly and pleasant as a rock. Seemed it was a great imposition on her time to have to serve us, no exaggeration. And the pizza was burnt when it finally came out. I had asked for banana peppers to be added to my supreme and it came out with jalapeños. At that point I just ate it anyway. We ordered breadsticks while waiting for everyone to arrive. They took forever. When last two people got there they wanted breadsticks so we told server two more orders a which point she literally rolled her eyes! I could not believe it. She never cleared one thing off of our table so we were left shoving everything out of the way as we sat and talked. Pizza! We had great service in the bar. We were seated promptly, got our drinks and breadstick appetizer very quickly. The breadsticks were great especially with the cheese sauce. We ordered a pizza which was very tasty. It had lots of well distributed toppings. It was hot and delicious. I would definitely order the pizza again. My Husband and I stopped at Arni's in Independence,IN after visiting family and it was not a good experience. We sat at a table with our drinks for over 40 minutes waiting for our order. Finally a man came out and asked if our food was for dining in. The food had been put in the warmer. We sat there sipping our drinks. I will never eat at this Arni's again. I am a big fan of Arni's as I grew up in Lafayette,IN. I have never been treated in such a manner at any Arni's and I have eaten at many. I'm sure we were over charged also. I've ordered lunch from this location many times and have always had great experiences. However, this was first time to go into the actual restaurant. My husband and I walked in at 8 p.m. on this Friday night. Immediately we were sat in the middle of screaming kid central. Not a big deal, there looked to be seating elsewhere in the establishment. My husband went to the host to express his displeasure at not being able to even order a water without telling the server 3 times. The host understood, and sat us adjacent to the bar. The server came by and said that she "needed to make sure there were no reservations there." The host assured her that there were no reservations and then scoffed at us and walked away. Several minutes went by when the host walked by asking if we needed anything to drink. When we tried to order alcohol he said he couldn't do that and we would have to wait for our server. During this time two other couples were sat around us, and treated the exact same way, and never once did our server acknowledge that we we're sitting there. At that point, we were done and took our business elsewhere. It wasn't that busy in there, or else we could have understood waiting, but to be treated like we're chores, we did our server a favor and took her tip to an establishment that would have us no problem. read more

Had dinner here last week, and the experience was less than stellar. The first problem was with the service. We were seated, only to wait for over 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. To make matters worse the server had a handful of dirty dishes. Things only went downhill from here.
