This is one of those times when I wish Yelp allowed half stars, because this Greek's Pizzeria is better than OK but a smidgen less than great. Three and a half stars, for sure. Greek's is super supportive of the community, and I love supporting businesses that are so invested in the neighborhood. They are also very fast, and their online ordering system is super. The kids who work behind the counter are very friendly and professional, and the restaurant looks clean (and there's an old-school Pac Man game in the corner!) However, the pizza is not my jam. The sauce is very sweet, like Spaghetti-O sauce. If you like sweet pizza, then this is for you. It's just not for me. The breadsticks are also also not for me -- they taste like the kind that Little Caesar's makes. Which again, maybe you'd like. I'm trying to be diplomatic here and acknowledge that everyone has different tastes. (Is it working?) There are people in my life who love Little Caesar's and I'm not going to yuck their yum. When our weekly trivia night spot, Danny Boy's (across the street), stopped selling food for a few weeks, we started ordering from Greek's, and man is it good. Greek's is one of the few local pizza joints that sells pizza that's on the thicker side and oh-so cheesy. Our new favorite find is that they also sell sauces that you can order on the side to dip your crust in. Garlic butter? Yes please! There is usually a team of high schoolers working at this location, which I think is great. There is also often a jar for Riley Hospital Dance Marathon donations and I like to see that they're involved in the community! read more

This is my favorite Greek's location - everyone is so nice and the food is fantastic. The grilled ham & cheese sandwich is my favorite - totally addictive. The last time I was there my server recommended the Chicken Parmesan pasta and it was incredible. Speaking of servers, my server was Ainsley and all I can say is give that girl a raise! She was totally friendly even though they were swamped. She was working super hard helping the other server and cleaning tables and taking orders, all with a smile on her face. Overall, I enjoyed the food (stromboli) I ordered from here. I stopped in for lunch (to go) and after a short wait at the order counter, I was able to place my order. This Greek's is much smaller than most of the franchises I've been to. They don't have a featured bar area like the ones that I've given 5-star reviews to. In fact, there are just a few places to sit with most of the seating at long tables. Seems like this one prefers to be a carry out restaurant. It took just over 20 minutes to get my order. The stromboli is served as an open face sandwich with the meat on one side and the veggies on the other. Both had red sauce. The bread was crisp on the outside and not so thick that when I placed the halves together that it would cause any trouble eating it. The flavor was good, but a little mild. No punch to it or anything to get raves for. The sandwich also came with a side of chips in the listed price. I do like Greek's Pizzeria. I was disappointed in the service this time. The location is in a very nice area with great parking. It took a long time for someone to come and take our order. The herb and parmesan breadsticks arrived hot and warm. They were excellent. We had to ask for our drinks which was about 15 mins we were waiting. Then we had to ask if our slice of pizza was on its way. At that point it was definitely around 20 mins. The pizza was ok. I feel like they needed more help up front. I don't know I wasn't impressed tonight. :-( read more

Super unreliable. This is the second time this has happened where we place an online order that somehow they have no record of. Tonite we were hosting 6 little girls, put in an order shortly after 5, called at 6:30 and were told our order was out for delivery. Called back at 7 when it still hadn't arrived and somehow there was no record of it. So hubby drove to Donatos while I tried to tied them over with microwave popcorn, and while waiting at Donatos he called back to Greeks and miraculously they found our order, and said they left it at our door. My intent was to eat at the West Clay Pizzology, but then I discovered it closed...good thing Greek's is right around the corner! I hope Greek's has better luck and can stay open, as that seems to be an issue with businesses in this neighborhood. I've had Greek's from the Carmel location on Main Street and I love the crust - like a breadstick. My party and I got a Greek's special and Roma and loved both! The interior is small and could easily fill up with neighborhood kids and families - in fact, it favors family-style dining with larger round tables. They do a big carry out business, so there was a constant line. We ordered take out on a Saturday night and it was really quick. It was ready in about 15-20 min after we ordered which was much better than the 1 hour to wait for delivery. They take down your name and phone number to correspond with the order and you tell them that when you pick up. We ordered Breadsticks with nacho cheese, Garlic Parmesan wings and a medium Pepperoni and green pepper pizza. The nacho cheese with the breadsticks is probably my favorite thing about Indy food. I have lived a handful of other places in the country and only have had my breadsticks with marinara sauce until now. Nacho cheese is a game changer! The wings were way better than I expected and would definitely order them again because they are good for sharing with a crowd. The pepperoni on the pizza is really crispy and quite delicious. Greeks has been one of my favorite pizza places since I went to Ball State and would buy slices at 2am outside the college town watering holes. Moved into the village last year and would order once or twice a month. This location wasn't great to begin with and has gone way downhill. Over the last two months I've ordered a few times and it is terrible at this point. The pizza we received tonight was not edible at all. Soaking wet crust, dough was clearly not done. The edges were burnt and the middle was raw. Let the manager know and they took off a few dollars, didn't even come out to apologize. I've noticed a huge drop off in carry out as we usually eat in. Absolutely a shame since the location is fantastic. Won't be back to this store again, too many bad pies. read more

Even though I'm not a huge fan of their pizza (indifferent towards their pizza sauce). I decided to try their subs and wings. The wife and I got a submarine and wings to share for lunch. I ordered for carry out and it took on 15 minutes to prepare everything. The sub was perfectly toasted and the spicy wings (Franks red hot) was delicious and had great flavor. I would definitely order lunch again especially being located a minute from my house!The have a pretty good seating area if you're interested in dining in. read more

First off the pizza here is great! But that's where the positivity ends. Service is awful- they have a handful of high schoolers working here and they have been rude and unfriendly all 3 times I have visited this location. I'm not expecting great service but a little smile and not a grunt when I ask a question would be nice. Pizza is also a bit expensive for what you get. Sizes seem smaller than other pizza joints and it's a few dollars more. I'll go back because it's in the area and it does taste good but it's not for sure not going to be my go to spot anytime soon. read more

After trying this yesterday, I can honestly say this location of Greek's Pizzeria is by far the best in the Indianapolis area. The new owners have really done a great job at revamping the place to give customer's not only great food, but a cozy restaurant atmosphere and great customer service. The breadsticks are super flavorful and I love that you can customize them with different spices! They also offer feta as a pizza topping, and as a Greek girl, that's a huge bonus for me. I have only tried the pizza and breadsticks on a few occasions, but it definitely hits the spot for a pizza crazing! Also, it is under new management and seems to have better costumer service. In terms of go-to pizza, we'd always been a Bazbeaux household. When we heard Pizzology was coming to West Clay, we figured that would be our new place. But then Greek's moved in and we had to try it out of curiosity. It doesn't replace Bazbeaux's gourmet options, but Greek's might be my favorite "basic pizza" in Indy. We always get a cheese pizza with breadsticks and cheese sauce. The breadsticks are always warm and fluffy, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is always spot on. The servers, most seem to be high school kids, are very friendly and helpful. We finally got around to trying their food. Oh snap!!! I wish we wouldn't have waited for so long. Had it delivered to our house. Came way quicker than expected and delivery guy was very friendly. As for the pizza: flavorful, heavy on toppings, and an amazing buttery crust. So delish! But that's not even the best. Those sticks!!! I can't get enough of the garlic breadsticks. Dip them in the nacho cheese and it's as close to perfection as you are gonna get for delivery food. But, if you aren't a fan of garlic, you might want to skip them. My family USE to love Greeks in the village. The restaurant had a family neighborhood feeling were the waitress knew my name, my families name and our regular order by memory. We came in weekly to support the local business. The breadsticks are a weakness I would desire on a regular bases. The owner and his girlfriend were staples at the restaurant working everyday. Everyone in the village knew them and loved coming in to chat with them, eat great pizza, and see friends from the village. The owners lived upstairs and worked below. They were so dedicated to customer service and friendly to everyone in the restaurant; always going above and beyond. Unfortunately, management and ownership of the store has changed. People in the village are not pleased with the new owner and staff. The waitresses are rude young girls constantly on their phones and not caring about the customers. The employees answering the phones are not polite and do not know the first thing in customer service. I asked the specials with a response of "they are on the website if you could look that up." I was shocked and disgusted with this response. The last time we dined in, the pizza was cold and barely any sauce. I asked three times!!! For more pizza sauce and received none. It is very unfortunate that Greeks went in a "new"direction. We loved our neighborhood pizza place. A lot of customers are very disappointed. read more
