The menu is easy to read with all of your favorite Mexican dishes including a variety of flavored margaritas and desserts. One of my favorite things when seated, is that they provide the table with free chips & bean dip! And on top of that, they offer the most delicious & fresh self-serve salsa bar that allows you to choose the right combination for your taste, offering several flavors of salsa from mild to hot! They are closed on Monday's and open Tuesday's-Sunday's. I enjoy the Taco Tuesday specials with the Chicken hard shell taco being my favorite, my husband likes the Beef! Also, it's a fun place to enjoy a birthday dinner! The staff will sing for your birthday and provide a birthday treat! I definitely recommend this place to everyone and give them 5's!

I ordered the beef biria tacos and a margarita. Tender beef with a consommé on the side. Also this is the first time I have ever received a bowl of pureed beans on the side of the chips prior to the meal. There was a serve yourself salsa bar to go with the chips. The marg was good as well. We are going back.

They also have grass-fed steak and try to use as many organic ingredients as possible. To me, it's worth spending a bit extra to get such a big, nourishing bowl of amazing ingredients. They have convenient pick-up parking spots out back and the inside is clean and beautiful if you opt for dine-in. Their team is friendly and I loved my shroomami bowl. I subbed tofu for steak and loved every bite. I also love that they have great side dishes, a perfect kids menu, and Siete chips or Hu chocolate as healthy but delicious sides. I'll be back!

There's a Sweetgreen in Carmel! Everything is as it should be…read more I've ordered at the store and I've ordered online, and I feel like the way to go is to place your order online for pickup. It's always correct, always ready when they say it'll be ready, and I always get utensils. The online order shelf is right by the door, so you can just pop in and grab your bag. For those not familiar with Sweetgreen, it's basically like a Chipotle-style fast-casual salad shop. You can create your own salad, or order from their menu of salads and bowls, then add and subtract ingredients, if you wish. My go-to is usually the Shroomami (a mushroom-forward salad), but today I was feeling like something different, so I got the kale Caesar, which is roasted chicken, tomatoes, parmesan crisps, shaved parmesan, shredded kale, chopped romaine, a quarter of a lime to squeeze over everything, and Caesar dressing on the side. Usually, I balk at a Caesar salad that has the dressing on the side. But in this case, I like controlling my own dressing because there is just so much going on with this salad. It says it's a Caesar, and it is ... but it isn't. But it's a great salad anyway. If you are counting calories, you need to watch it with some of these salads. Some of the salads and bowls climb up to the 900+ calorie range! They are packed with good stuff, but they can be calorie-dense. Luckily, the nutrition information is posted on the Sweetgreen website.

We chatted with the hostess for a bit about the other Family of Grindstone restaurants. We started with the short rib poutine. We had it last year and frequently joke we need more than 1. The meat is so tender and there is a good amount of it on the dish. The app has plenty to share for the three of us adults. I also love the added touch of the scallions. For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

Beautiful space. Warm feel. Exactly what the evening called for. Our server Jill M was the real story. She greeted us warmly, asked if we had questions about the menu, and when we mentioned my wife has Celiac Disease, she didn't flinch. She walked us through every option carefully and honestly. That kind of attentiveness is rare, and it mattered. Here's the honest part: the kitchen uses a shared fryer, which limits options significantly for anyone with gluten sensitivity or food allergies. My wife made it work, but the choices were thin. For a restaurant at this level, I'd love to see that change. Food allergies aren't going away, and guests who want to celebrate special occasions deserve more than a gluten-free bun as their only path forward. The food was genuinely delicious. Drinks never ran dry. Jill was never far. We all left saying it was a great meal. Four stars, and I mean it. Jill earns five on her own. I'd go back without hesitation. I'd just hope the kitchen catches up to what the front of house already delivers.

When we drove up we were uncertain as it was a little gray building among other storage buildings. But there were about 50 cars surrounding the building. Good sign. Let me be clear, this is not upscale or trendy, but salt of the earth. There was a short line for tables. The place was hopping. The walls were covered with images of Hollywood stars. Many handwritten signs and boards described deserts, specials and featured items. We found seats within 15 minutes. The menu is filled with breakfast and lunch items that are served all day. There are quirky fun items such as sauerkraut balls (which are hand made), pickle fries and stuffed tater tots. The Memorial Day special lunch included a hot dog, hamburger slider, watermelon and a side for $8.99. The slider and watermelon called out to me. When the plate came, I wasn't expecting so much food. The slider was amazing. There were 2 smash burger patties on a nice bun with cheese, sauce and pickle. The slider was good. The slice of watermelon was massive, refreshing and fun. The homemade coleslaw is creamy and delicious. My husband ordered the Breaded Tenderloin. OMG, that tenderloin was about twelve inches in diameter and came with a large roll that dwarfed the pork. The pork was thick with a great peppery breading. He only ate half and took the rest home. We shared an order of the stuffed tater tots that were filled with potato, jalapeño, onion and cheese. Oh man, those are addictive. As we were finishing up, the owner of the restaurant approached our table. Kate Rhine has been owner/cook of The Vintage Cafe for four years. She's been a home cook since she was in fourth grade. She was cheerful and wanted to know how I liked the Memorial Day Special since I was the first to order. I loved the meal. the burger was great and watermelon and coleslaw refreshing. The hot dog was going home with us. Our server, Felicia, was great. She helped describe the menu, was attentive, super friendly and kept water glasses full. Even the fella bussing the tables was amazing and friendly. It was clear these folks were hustling to keep up with the crowd. This cafe is fun and delicious. I can't wait to go back. Thanks, YELP reviewers for leading the way.

Don't know when we've gotten this kind of value for the money! We got chicken tenders and wedges. The wedges are really big and I was skeptical, but I was wrong! They are delicious! The chicken pieces are likewise very big. The meat is tender and moist and the breading is crispy without being greasy. We had quite a bit left over. Unlikely many fried foods, they reheated beautifully in the air fryer--still not greasy! They sell beverages by the bottle and offer a fun variety. I really appreciated that they had a couple of options that are both sugar and caffeine free--a rarity in restaurants and convenience stores lately! The man at the counter was great. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. There is no seating, so we had a fun little car picnic before hitting the road again. I love fried chicken. We scooted up to Sheridan to give them a try! The place is dang cute, with chicken pics and quotes all over. There is no seating - so you must pick-up your food to go. The menu offers many options of chicken and assorted sandwiches. We picked up 2 pc. Chicken meals that come with a side and biscuit for $6.49. What a deal! The chicken has a super crispy batter and is hot and delicious. One piece filled me up and I saved the other for later. I had the mashed potatoes with gravy as my side and my husband had the potato wedges. The wedges are the way to go. Each wedge is a quarter of a large potato and is served hot and crispy. The biscuits are awesome. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a short wait for food as the potato wedges were cooked fresh. There is an up-charge for credit cards use. I'll be a regular even if they are 10 miles away. The drive through Indiana farmland is beautiful.
