There were about 12 different drafts and they weren't your typical selections. They serve a drink called a Louisville Lip (basically a whiskey sour with amaretto) that was dynamite. I tried this place based on the great reviews from other Yelpers. We went on a Friday night at 6pm and this place was packed. My advice is get here early or you'll be standing in a long line of 20-30 people outside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich on pita bread. It was ok. It wasn't the best I've had and I probably won't order it again. The toasted pita bread made it harder to eat and it came with deep fried chips that may have been a little overcooked. My wife had the Meatball sub and said it was very tasty. It came with 11 meatballs and my wife commented you needed to eat the meatballs down the middle of the sub first before you could eat it as a sub. There were a lot of meatballs and it also came with same overcooked chips. I'm not sure what the draw is for this place. Maybe it's the pizza. It seems they serve a lot of them both in the restaurant and take out. If I come back I will try the pizza to see if that's what the hype is all about. Traveled to Indianapolis for the Alliance Championship softball tournament in Westfield, IN and came here with a party of about 50 after a long day of games. It was around 9 p.m., and we all had early games the next morning, so we were hoping for a quick dinner before calling it a night. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing from the start. We had one waiter taking orders for our entire group by hand. We tried ordering drinks directly from the bar to help speed things up, but the bartender told us we had to order through our waiter because we were seated. That policy might make sense for a normal-sized party, but with a group of 50, it only slowed things down. We also asked if another server could help since several staff members didn't appear to be busy, but our waiter insisted he had it covered. It took about 30 minutes just to take everyone's orders, and then he still had to enter them into the POS system. I'm writing this review while still waiting for both our drink and our food. It's been another 15 min and he's still imputing our order in the system. We met some friends here to watch the fever game and have some pizza. Our friends come here all the time because they love pizza. We had the Doc jones and Luchador brothers pizzas and shared. I've had two recent experiences here that have been rather disappointing. In our group of six several were not happy with the food and we all thought the service was poor. Three members of our group ordered Chicken Alfredo, and all said that it was very dry with so little sauce that it looked like no sauce at all. Two requested extra sauce from our server and one just didn't eat hers at all. It took quite some time for someone from the kitchen to bring the extra sauce, by which time the others had finished eating. They were all charged for the extra sauce, even though it had been missing from their entrées. The server hadn't checked back with us or offered refills. Two in our group ordered salads, and they were happy with them. I observed two employees sitting on a bench, having a conversation while it appeared that tables needed to be bussed and cleaned. We waited a long time for our server to bring our checks, and then longer for our payments to be taken. I also had a recent experience with a carry out order where some of the items I had ordered were missing when I picked up the food, even though I had been charged for them. I was picking up an order to take to work so I didn't have time to return and pick up the items missing from the order. It comes with spinach, applewood bacon, sliced mushroom, mushrooms, and goat cheese. It is tossed in honey mustard vinaigrette. It is very good. The spinach was good quality. On previous occasions, we have ordered salads with the mixed greens. The mixed greens were either rusty or the rib part of the lettuce. But the spinach salad was excellent. We recommend giving it. Asses are normal, we ordered the pepperoni and sausage pizza, but Tavern style. Tavern style is their thin crispy crust. If you like a crispy, cracker like crust, then order it extra crispy. It is great in our opinion. The 14" pizza is $15 and then add $2.50 per topping. With the salad, this was enough for two people with enough to take home as leftovers. Service was good and attentive. Our bill was accurate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We always sit in the bar area. You can sit at the bar counter or they also have high top tables. Our New York style pizza had good flavor, but the dough was a little lacking. It felt soggy, floppy, and slightly undercooked. That may have been from trying to rush stuff out since the restaurant was so busy. My pasta however, was not good. It tasted like plain noodles boiled in milk with zero seasoning or flavor. Overall I feel like the issues were probably from an overwhelmed kitchen trying not to drown, not necessarily the standard of the menu. Our pizza was HUGE! I don't know what I was expecting, but it was way bigger than I imagined--and I'm not mad at it. It was my first time trying Crafters, and we decided to order in while watching the Pacers game. We got the NYC pizza, which is basically a margherita pizza, plus an order of mild wings. The wings were way better than I expected! The pizza was pretty good too--thin crust, although I believe they also offer regular hand-tossed. Crafter's Pizza lives up to all the great hype. We went over to check out the Colts game day specials. When you walk through the door, the aroma of baking pizza dough is intoxicating. The bar/dining room is upscale with lots of tables. We sat in the bar. TV monitors were playing various football games. The bar is locally owned. They offer several Sunday drink specials and I selected the $5 Bloody Mary which comes with a beer chaser. (They really know how to treat a girl). My husband had a craft IPA that was on tap that he liked. John was our server and he was attentive, friendly and helped explain various dishes. He checked on us regularly. The bar was hopping but they seemed to have enough staffing to keep people happy. My husband had a small Grandma's Money pizza. The pizza was top with a delicious blend of sausage, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella balls, prosciutto, pomodoro sauce and more. The crust has a great flavor and texture. I had the BT Wedge salad which is an upscale version of the classic salad. The dressing is fresh made with lots of blue cheese. Two wedges of young romaine are covered with dressing, bacon, roasted tomatoes and pickled onions. The salad is filling and delicious. We loved our visit so much that we joined the Club. Went into Crafters on a busy college football Saturday and it was definitely a good time! Big TVs everywhere with every game on & of course the AMAZING smell of pizza was in the air. The place was packed and buzzing on a Sunday and I expected there would be a wait but we got seated right away. Our server Mallory came pretty quick to grab our drink orders. Since the place was so packed I thought that food might take long, so we ordered breadsticks with queso. The queso came in less than 10 mins. The breadsticks were slim and light and the queso was a perfect pairing with it. We ordered two 14" - Grandmas Money and Doctor Jones to share between three of us and were again surprised by how quick the pizzas came in. Also the pizzas were loaded generously! Generally speaking, I don't gravitate toward "bar food" these days, but when I do feel in the mood for it, I want to go somewhere that adds something special to what would otherwise be a somewhat worn-out food genre. I think Crafters achieves that goal of going over and above the call of duty. I had their Zesty Baked Ziti this time, but I usually gravitate toward their pizza, which is always great. Their cauliflower thin-crust options are particularly good; I wasn't able to tell the difference between that and a traditional flour dough crust. Service was truly exceptional during last night's visit. The place was packed, but our server never disappeared, and I never got the impression that she was hopelessly trying to service 20+ tables simultaneously. That's a major pet peeve of mine in the post-Covid world, when restaurant managers sometimes choose to staff thinner than a layer of varnish. And, there were no less than two senior-level managers who dropped by, to ask us how everything was. I like that. The only slightly negative aspect of our visit was the parking situation. The strip mall where Crafters is located is perpetually packed with cars. I'm pretty sure the time zone on my phone changed during my long walk from the car to the restaurant. This is a crowded spot on a Saturday night. Parking is at a premium with many spots marked for carryout or 30 minutes. We were seated at a high top in the bar near the register.
