This was our first visit to Patsy's Pub, and overall it was a very nice experience. This is a bar type of atmosphere, with "Open Mic" nights and live music on several days of the week. Food: We had a 16" thin crust pizza, which was surprisingly good and nicely prepared. Service: The place was totally packed on a Thursday night, but service was still prompt, and our server was very friendly. Ambiance: The food prices are very low here. I can't think of another recent case where my wife and I had dinner for $34.00 in Hamilton County, but Patsy's is an example of large portion sizes coupled with relatively low prices. It does get a little loud inside, for obvious reasons, but that's to be expected.

Sampler platter. You get to choose 3 from many options.

Been here a few times. Last time I came got the burger. It was huge and great. I wish I took a picture. This place fits that Neighborhood Bar for sure!

My 20-month-old also got to play for free since children 2 and under are admitted at no charge. Our servers, Alex and Brandy, were amazing and attentive. They were friendly, provided excellent customer service, and always made sure we had what we needed. The hostess seated us right away and was incredibly welcoming as well. When they ran out of kids' menus, they thoughtfully gave my daughter a blank sheet of paper to color, which I really appreciated. Even though it was a busy day, our food came out quickly. The ambiance was what you'd expect from a classic burger spot--casual, family-friendly, and comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

Both were good. I was surprised at how hearty the soup was and better than most I've had outside of California. Adding sour cream was a most welcome suggestion. Bobby was our bartender and she was so sweet and helpful. She even offered to take a group photo for us. We had a great time and can't wait to back!

They had a nice selection of draft beers for a pizza place. There were about 12 different drafts and they weren't your typical selections. They serve a drink called a Louisville Lip (basically a whiskey sour with amaretto) that was dynamite. It was really crowded for a Sunday night. It was hard to find a parking spot. The staff was A+.

My advice is get here early or you'll be standing in a long line of 20-30 people outside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich on pita bread. It was ok. It wasn't the best I've had and I probably won't order it again. The toasted pita bread made it harder to eat and it came with deep fried chips that may have been a little overcooked. My wife had the Meatball sub and said it was very tasty. It came with 11 meatballs and my wife commented you needed to eat the meatballs down the middle of the sub first before you could eat it as a sub. There were a lot of meatballs and it also came with same overcooked chips. I'm not sure what the draw is for this place. Maybe it's the pizza. It seems they serve a lot of them both in the restaurant and take out. If I come back I will try the pizza to see if that's what the hype is all about. We will try coming back on a week night to avoid the crowd.

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots. Just don't skip the breadsticks...and trust me, order your own cheese. You'll understand after the first bite.
