I ordered carry out for my sister and I. This was both of our 1st times eating at Wolfies. I ordered the peppered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and jalapeño cream corn and a side salad. My sister ordered the crusted sirloin with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts and a side salad. I must say we were both impressed. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. The order was ready as they stated it would be. As for the food, the chicken fried chicken was nice and juicy and had great flavor. The mashed potatoes were nice and lumpy, just as I like them, and the jalapeño cream corn was freaking delicious. My sister's sirloin was cooked as she requested and said it was delicious as well, and that the brussels sprouts were very good. The only thing that I would have to say is, I wish there was more gravy for the chicken fried chicken, but the gravy was good as well. Overall, we had zero complaints. Everything was great and we will be back. And I would highly recommend to my friends and family. Coming from somebody that has worked in the industry for 30+ years, I must say a job well done. I stopped by this place while in Indy on business. I have visited the Fishers location several times, but since I was in the Carmel area I figured I would give this location a shot. The service was good, our server made sure that we were taken care of, and any time our glasses got low she was right there to ask what beer we wanted next. The beer selection is ok at best, not quite as good as the other location. Fortunately, there was at least a couple of decent beers to choose from, but nothing special. The food was pretty decent, and was served fairly quickly. Overall, I would say if you like the Fishers location you will like this one. Though there are alot of other places in the area that offer a better overall experience at a similar pricepoint. read more

City Barbecue was closed all day today due to no hot water so I looked for an alternative lunch spot. I searched Yelp and found several places I could chose from but Wolfies Grill won my selection even though a few may not have agreed with me. I was the first customer through the door. The greeter seated me with my choice of location and took my drink order immediately. He was slow to return for my order and the only other table had to ask someone else if they could order yet, but he got it in gear later and was efficient after that. I ordered the Seafood Chowder in a crock. It was the perfect size to accompany a salad or entree. The broth was thick and had a really good flavor. All of the ingredients were diced extra small which makes for a full spoon with every bite, but no crackers were served. I also ordered their Caesar Salad and had the Chicken added. The Chicken was warm like it was supposed to be and the breading was light and very tasty. It was a good sized salad that filled me up. All of the food came out of the kitchen quickly. All of the plentiful TVs had a plethora of sports coverages. There was no closed captioning so they did little to interest me during lunch. I read a book on my phone. The restrooms were clean and well stocked but in need of upgrades. In these post pandemic times, public restrooms need to be as contactless as possible in my opinion. Manual flush levers need upgraded to motion controlled. I don't like using urinals that weren't flushed before me. There were pull down paper towels which worked well and auto soap dispensers, but touching the faucet valve handles to get water sort of defeats the purpose of washing your hands when you have to shut the water off after washing your hands. The foot pull thing at the bottom of the door is a nice idea but it didn't work for me because the door is to heavy. But no stars off because the restroom was clean, stocked and gets the job done; just throwing in my two cents. Plenty of parking spaces available via the large parking lot. read more

Came here after the Carmel Marathon Expo just down the street from here. One of the vendors had a wrap from here and suggested it as it was a regular spot to eat at for them. The service was outstanding based on how busy they were from all the out of town people in for the marathon, like my wife and I. We took a table in the bar area and the bartender helped us in our decision making for what was her favorites! I went with the Soy Chili Glazed Salmon and picked Mac and cheese for my side instead of the fried rice. Wow!!!! I was blown away by the flavor of the salmon and the brussels sprouts. I asked the bartender if she could sell me a gallon of the soy chili glaze, I'd put that on everything! I savored every bite and the Mac and cheese was no regular thing, the cheese used is their queso and it has just the right amount of kick! The next time we visit the Carmel area, Wolfies Grill is on our list to eat at again. The food, service and atmosphere of the place is absolutely what we like and hopefully I can get that gallon of sauce! read more

We were looking for a place to get a post dinner drink and decided to go to Wolfies . It was a very chill ambiance ! I got a Kentucky Rose mule and then ended the night with an Espresso Martini. Fireside Cheese Sticks which were jalapeño mozzarella sticks looked appetizing so we got that as well and even after a full dinner they were so good that we ate it all. The quality of the food was not compromised even at a late hour . Our bar tender was very courageous and even though it was close to end of the night for the kitchen and bar she took great care of us . We had originally planned to try the cocktail place next door the Broken Barrel but since it was close we went next door which was not disappointing ! read more

Update: Scott called me after posting my review. "I should see a refund in my account in 24 hours" I will update if/when I actually receive it. Moved to 3 stars because it was corrected but definitely not 5 stars because I should not have even had to go through all this. I ordered through Wolfie's website NOT door dash. My order arrived without my soda (front desk reception had received it for me). I contacted the restaurant and was told DoorDash is who has to refund me because I paid them. I told them no I did not my card even shows I paid them directly. But I hung up and contacted DoorDash. They confirmed what I assumed that Wolfie's owed me the refund. I contacted them back and they told me they would call DoorDash and put in a ticket. They refuse to refund for something I did not receive. Highly recommend against supporting a business that does this to patrons. If you do not send Coke Zero with delivery you should not allow it to be checked and paid for on the website for delivery! Went onto my bank account to get a screenshot to show them I paid them directly and that's when I was alerted to the fact that they double charged me! I am furious I am getting no refund just a manager that seems like he could not care less. read more

We ordered delivery/ lunch on 1/11/25. Three orders. Only one was correct. One order was for a tenderloin sandwich - what was received was chicken fingers. Another order was for Tacos and a side of their maple baked beans. Instead we received fries. Additionally it took about an hour and a half for the order to even be ready for the door dash driver. He waited at the restaurant for over a half hour. It was nice of him to wait, but of course the whole thing ended up costing us $$$$ because we had to make things right for him as it was nice of him to wait around like that. Wolfies Grill was a bit of a contradiction. On the one hand, great service, very nice decor with a rustic feel, and an interesting menu. On the other hand, it seemed like a dressed up, but otherwise average mid market restaurant. The beer list is a case in point, with two or three nice beers in a crowd of "meh". Food-wise, I had the Horsey Sirloin Steak Tacos, which sounded amazing, but whose flavor didn't deliver on the promise. Others had house special mac and cheese and the fish and chips. Everything was adequate, but none of us came away with a "Wow, what a great meal!" Now if the cooking caught up to the marketing and presentation, I'd be here once a month! read more

We had a great date night at Wolfies! We sat in the bar area and listened to the live music. We had the Prime Rib Quesadilla for an appetizer and my boyfriend had the Pork Tenderloin and I had the Alpine Chicken Wrap! All of which was extremely tasty! The food came out hot and timely. The server was wonderful and attentive! There are limited vegetarian options, while there are some, check the menu first. Delicious food! While I got the basic chicken tenders and fries, it was really good, especially the coleslaw. The appetizers were fairly good, too. The nachos were as expected for nachos. Daughter and I realized we were getting "hangry" during a busy shopping day but I needed a place where I could abide by my prediabetic diet! At first, I was concerned that a bar serving her favorite pretzel breadsticks, chicken strips and fries wouldn't meet this criteria but there were many options that fit the bill with a wise switch out of sides. Mahi Mahi, salmon, lean grilled chicken and awesome grilled - not deep fried and covered in cheese- Brussels sprouts. I finally chose the grilled salmon and it was delicious! Daughters and I were served promptly by cheerful server Kristi who was helpful in answering menu questions and super quick at bringing us containers for our leftovers when we asked. I'm sure my daughter was worried my "diet" would cramp our fun, but Wolfies ensured we both had great-tasting meals that fit our needs. Oh! This place knows customer service. Our server Alex was awesome. Friendly and on the spot when needed. The kitchen let him down a bit but they made it right. Food was really tasty and Alex made sure things were correct. We really appreciated that and it was backed by the manager. I'm usually not one to write negative reviews, but I had to share feedback regarding my lunch experience today. I'll begin by saying I've never had bad customer service at Wolfies. Our server today was great. However, the pork tenderloin sandwich I ordered (an Indiana staple that seems nearly impossible to mess up) might be one of the worst I've ever tasted. I can't think of a better way to describe it, other than it tasted the way dog food smells. Really, REALLY bad. The sprouts I ordered as my side were very good. My recommendation: steer clear of the pork tenderloin! UPDATE: The owner did reply to this review. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to respond directly via yelp but I appreciate the timely response. I suppose my advice based on my tastebuds would be: might be a good item to hit the reset button on and start from scratch. read more

Our group visited tonight excited to play SINGO. This location publicized this event on their Facebook page, and we were excited to participate. I even called the same morning of to confirm that the event would be offered. We were told that it would be offered. Unfortunately, after we arrived with our group, we were told that they had decided to not have the SINGO event and "had been trying to decide all day if they still want to offer it". We were all very upset that we had gone out of our way to specifically travel and attend this restaurant for this experience and did not get what we expected. I will not recommend this location. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday, sat at the booths in the bar area. Our bartender was great, super friendly and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the owners and their locations. The chicken wings with the dry rub might have been the juiciest wings I've had in Indiana! Bar had plenty of screens and would absolutely consider this a great game day spot. We visited the Carmel location and won't be going back. It was in the afternoon, around 1:30pm. There were to large tables of several kids and a few adults. The host put us at a table between them. Two of us, seniors and were are placed in between to loud tables. I was floored and did not know what to say. I knew with two large tables our food could take longer. It did, about an hour longer. The food was okay. Not worth what the cost. I had a hamburger and onion rings. The hamburger had been frozen and very under seasoned. I could not eat the onion rings too much oil, could squeeze out of them. The Mac and Cheese was so spicy that she could not eat much. The decor was date, tables scratched, chair not very clean and the restroom, oh my goodness. There would be a good project to bring it up to snuff. We try to go out to eat once a week to new places and Wolfies is off our list now and most likely for ever. read more

I randomly found myself craving a tenderloin sandwich for lunch last weekend, so after browsing a few local restaurants that had them, I landed on ordering from Wolfies. I wanted to get take out, so I called and their machine pointed me to order online. It was fairly straightforward, but I wish there was an option to may when I pick up the food. When I entered the restaurant, the host pointed me to the left side of the bar and said that I could go get the bag of food from over there. I was a little surprised that they don't bring it to the door and have the customer walk through the entire restaurant to get their food, but oh well not too big of a deal. I looked into the bag and noticed that they had given me chips as my side instead of the fries that I had chosen online as my side. There were not really any staff members in sight besides the host near the door, so I just cut my losses and left a little disappointed that my order was slightly wrong. The tenderloin sandwich was good. Not the best I ever had, but it satisfied my craving. It normally comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles but I ordered without tomatoes (so at least one of my customized choices on the website worked). The chips were also pretty good, so that's why I'm not too disappointed I didn't get the fries that I ordered. I also got an order of the Hot BBQ boneless wings, which were great! They had a good flavor and were not too spicy. The ranch that came with them was also delicious. Overall, not super impressed, but also not super disappointed with Wolfies. I'll probably order from them again if I'm in the mood for some bar food. read more

Yesterday we dined in for lunch, the Brussel Sprouts never disappoint, though it was busy our service was excellent. The server was very friendly, and patient. We did not feel rushed with our questions as we tried to venture out today from our normal burgers. A nice local pub that's ideal for a live music night out or a sports viewing party. There's a massive screen that pulls down and plays certain games so that the whole restaurant can watch. There's also individual TVs everywhere. I liked the log cabin feel (the actual decor isn't my taste) but I can see how the vibe would be fun- especially during a Colts game or at night!
