Tenders
Ron S.

Nice little place, it's tucked behind the steakhouse on the main road. Pretty busy for a Monday, sounded like lots of regulars- the staff knew them. Seemed like they were a little understaffed, but things kept moving. Went with the tenders, which were pretty good ~ not too heavy on the breading and in house tossed. Nice job. Fries were crisp and the slaw was decent. For $14 it's a great value

Came in last night to grab dinner outside on the patio. The place ended up filling up super quick! The waitress was friendly and full of knowledge. I ordered the fish again this time. It took awhile to get a water refill but the food came out quickly. It was all hot and had great flavor. We did notice some other tables having a long wait for food and some incorrect items. When it came time to pay it took over 30 minutes just to get our check once we were done dining. The waitress was overworked and had tables inside and out that were packed.

I am glad that I stumbled across this spot. I really liked it. It has a decent sized private parking lot and gives of a rustic log cabin feel. There is a decent sized dining area and a full bar with seating. You will also find a nice covered patio area that you can dine on as well. The dining area, bar and patio have televisions that will more than likely have sports on them. It should be noted that this location is 21+, so leave the littles at home when you come here. The staff there is very friendly, helpful and courteous. I really enjoyed them and they enhanced my experience at the restaurant. The restaurant serves you typical pub food such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, fish and chips, soups, salads, ribs, tacos, wraps and pork chops. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken with Peppered Gravy, which came with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. It took about 8 minutes for me to get my food, which was impressive since it was during their lunch rush. It was so delicious and flavorful. I cannot see enough about my meal. The corn was like some creamed street corn. The chicken steak was fresh, hot and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were delicious too. I highly recommend checking this place out for a nice chill environment with some very delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and cannot wait to go back.

Wolfies was a fun bar and grill setting. It wasn't so big which we thought was nice. I thought the food was pretty good (7/10). Our server was really friendly and helpful.

French Onion Soup

Came in on a busy Saturday night and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Started off with one of the best French onion soups I've ever had and followed it up with delicious pan crusted chicken and soy Brussel sprouts. The bar has a laid back atmosphere and you don't feel rushed out. I will definitely be back.

Seafood chowder

21 and over place to eat, tucked in behind the Taco Bell. The decor is set around a lodge in the woods. Our server was great very fast on refills and also offered drinks to go. We got a cup of seafood chowder, buffalo chicken nachos, fireside cheese sticks all to share. The seafood chowder was not good, I would definitely never get it again. I still gave 5 stars because it's indiana so why would you ever order that in a bar. Plus the other 2 things we got more than made up for it. The Buffalo chicken nachos were o good! We got hot sauce instead of medium and it packed a punch! I will be getting them again for sure. The fireside cheese sticks also stole the show. Had a nice amount of spice to them. The nachos and cheese sticks will have us coming back a lot.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a side of Mac & Cheese

First time visiting Wolfies Grill today, it won't be my last! Lots of good choices on their menu. I had the French onion soup for starters, and the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of Mac & cheese. It all was delicious I'll be back for sure!

Perfect margarita

We stopped by here on the way to an escape room and at first I wasn't too sure because the sever was a bit off putting and came off as a bit rude. However the food absolutely made up for it. Everything we had was phenomenal. The decor and vibe reminds me of a lodge which was nice and different. There were 4 of us and we got some appetizers and 2 meals and some beverages cost was 120 before tip. Traditional chicken wings with hot bbq were trendy, juicy with a bit of a crisp to the outside. The sauce wasn't hot but it had an amazing flavor. Cauliflower bites were fried perfectly and had a great flavor as well Onion rings have a special seasoning dusted on them which makes them great to eat by themselves however if you dip them in the boom boom sauce they come with it elevates the flavor and gives them a little kick of spiciness Buffalo chicken wrap was spicy but had a great flavor and was full. Mac and cheese as a side was delicious had nice flavor and creamy and cheesy Crusted chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes were all delicious. I feel the chicken could benefit from a dipping sauce ie the boom boom sauce. Mashed potatoes were creamy and broccoli was cooked perfectly. Alcoholic beverages The perfect margarita was smooth and tasted fresh The raspberry margarita was smooth and well balanced and had a straight foreword raspberry flavor. The tap beers were cold and poured perfectly Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Fish and chips + Mac and cheese

I was in town on a business trip and found myself staying at a hotel really close to Wolfies. I found them on Yelp and since it was so close by and their menu looked good, I made an order online for curbside pickup. I opted for the fish and chips and a side of mac and cheese and it was ready in about twenty minutes. While my order was for curbside pick up, I did decide to go inside and check it out. My food was ready as soon as I stepped foot side the door and I noticed it felt like an old school, family restaurant. There was a cobblestone fireplace, a bar and plenty of seating. When I got back to my hotel I dove right in and the food was great. I couldn't put the mac and cheese down and in no time, I was at the bottom of the container and found myself wanting more. I highly recommend it. The fish was also fried perfectly and the tartar sauce was a wonderful addition on the side. The chips on the other hand, were mushy and I was so glad I got the side of mac. I would definitely order from here again if the opportunity arose.

It can get pretty busy, though, so if you're planning to bring a larger group, I'd recommend visiting during non-peak hours. One of our favorite things is their great pricing on buckets of Sun Cruisers, and we love that you can mix and match the flavors instead of being limited to just one. It's a small touch that makes the experience even better. If you order the wings, don't skip the signature sauce. We've become huge fans of it, and it's one of the reasons we keep coming back. Overall, it's a great spot to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and enjoy the patio. Next on our list is trying the giant pretzel, which is served with your choice of queso or mustard. Looking forward to giving that a try on our next visit!

Serving temp was excellent, not mouth blistering, but not cool or cold like some have been I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp. Very tasty and satisfying. It could have used a little more kick, but my wife thought it was quite spicy so perhaps it was good. I just like it to tickle my mouth a little more. My wife loved her salad, crisp lettuce and the dressing was good Overall, a nice evening. The two things that would have moved my rating up to 5 would have been no gristle in the meat (we've been to 3 other places on this Trail and this was the only one that had gristle) and the background music made it difficult to talk. We left quickly because we couldn't visit comfortably Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, the ambiance was nice and the service excellent

I'd even go so far as to say that this is one of the better IPAs I've had in a long while. Beer flights at MashCraft are generous 6-ounce pours. You get four of them, and there are 16 different beers, ciders and sours to choose from. I got the Prickly Dragon (a sour with notes of prickly pear and dragonfruit), the MashCraft IPA (yumyumyum and my favorite, as we already established), Squeeze the Juice (an New England IPA), and Triple Jam from Blake's Hard Cider, which was too sweet for me and tasted a little like cough syrup. They also offer wine and cocktails here, but I didn't see them on the menu. I was told this verbally by our extremely gregarious and outgoing server. One cool thing about this MashCraft is that they have an outdoor pickle ball court! The chicken sandwich I had was delicious, but it was a bit messy. My friend also enjoyed her burger which was the special of the month. We ordered the special drink from Halloween, and it was tasty. I did think $10 was a bit high for what was essentially a vodka and sprite. Trivia was also a blast. They had cute prizes for the holiday and we even ended up winning a gift card. Not bad for free trivia. The host did a great job and made everyone feel welcome. The pickleball court also looked fun if the weather was nicer. Can't wait to come back.

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots.
