The toast it was served on was an herby and grainy and perfectly cut. I was surprised it wasn't an English muffin! The knife is served with was perfect for cutting into the toast and very beautifully plated! The plate was balanced with some lemony notes, creamy hollandaise, runny yolk, and avocado! Super fresh ingredients, and delicious! Ingredients seem to be picked thoughtfully, even pastries look to be sourced from bakeries in the area. They also offer gluten free and vegan options (and swaps!) The staff is friendly and welcoming ‍. The restaurant is well kept, clean, and inviting. From the moment we walked in, we were happily greeted. The space was absolutely beautiful with exposed brick as their walls and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was extremely helpful in selecting our drinks and mains. We ran into a few snags with our mains but they were quick to address the issue and offered us complimentary drinks and a dish. Which was not necessary as we understand some situations out of their control but it was much appreciated. The Garden Benedict was good. Bread was toasted just right with a good amount of avocado. Topped with a generous amount of smoked salmon, followed by hollandaise sauce which had a bit of acidity to it which helped cut through some of the dish' richness. As well as a perfectly poached egg on top. The salmon itself lacked a bit more moisture but good dish overall. The chilaquiles were flavorful and generous. The chips were crisp and topped with salsa verde which was tangy and vibrant. Blackened chicken, black beans, Mexican crema, sprinkled queso fresco and perfectly cooked eggs finished the dish. I didn't get to try the Shroomin' Sammie but it looked tasty. Drinks we tried were the Mimosa with Lush Love cold pressed juice. Perfect recommendation as it was refreshing and flavorful. As well as the detox dream. It may look off putting due to the use of activated charcoal but tasted amazing! It had a subtle heat so be warned. The Garden Table on Mass Avenue is my favorite brunch spot in all the land so I decided to give their Carmel location a try when a friend was in town. We arrived on a Saturday morning and were able to be seated immediately without a reservation. The menu is comparable to their downtown sister location. I truly love how consistently fresh, clean, and beautiful their ingredients are. Unprocessed and still indulgent, Garden Table offers nutritious dishes that don't leave you feeling lethargic after your dining experience. As big of a fan, as I am a Garden Table, I am subtracting one star due to the quality of our service. The restaurant was busy, but it wasn't overwhelmingly packed, if that makes sense. There was no waitlist or line to get in, but it seemed like most of the tables were full. I'm not sure if they were short staffed that morning, but our server was on a mission to take orders and nothing else. No friendly banter or suggesting any recommendations. My friend had to ask for her Coke at least three times. Everyone has their bad days though, and I have full respect for the service industry so this will not deter us from returning to try them again. Keep in mind though that there are plenty of other places to dine in the Carmel area so the comprehensive experience does matter. read more

If I could give half stars I would, but unfortunately this trends more 3 star than 4 star experience for me. My work group visited for brunch with a table of 8. I personally ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo. The chilaquiles themselves were good, the chorizo was a chopped up patty instead of being ground which I found strange and wouldn't have ordered if I had known it would be patty style. We had more than 1 issue at the table with food, including 2 plates of cold eggs and one hair in food. The eggs were not even warm, just outright cold. They did immediately offer to fix that, unfortunately a small hair was found in one of the replacements. Presentation is beautiful, execution needs some work. read more

Brunch was fabulous! The drink menu was so much fun and very unique - I wanted to try everything. We got the gardening break which is good of course if you like mezcal. It wasn't too much passion fruit either. The dirty dartini was quite dirty and not all that boozy but I liked it for a brunch drink. They forgot the feta stuffed olives so I asked and they brought me 4 olives which was very nice. As for food, we got the GT club and the chicken sammie. I had a meeting here this week and I ordered the smoked salmon toast. During lunch time on Mass it's hard to find parking but it was ok. I only had water but they a great beverage menu. As you can see my toast looked and was amazing! It was pretty, flavorful and I added the egg... so glad I did! . After my client saw my order they said they were going to order that next time they were there. I enjoyed the chilled environment. People were having meetings, people were working and some just met up with their friends. It's a very diverse environment. Our server was very kind and accommodating. My meeting ran a little long so I got a parking ticket because my time expired! Warning: always check your meter because if you go past a minute in that area you'll get a ticket!!! I love the Garden Table and it's my go-to restaurant when meeting friends for brunch or lunch in Indy. I appreciate the food sensitivity menu and the options for bacon (lamb and yam) in addition to pork. The gluten free bread is amazing! I also love the fresh juices! The service is always great and the servers know their menu and are always so accommodating. My whole family can find something we each enjoy and it's always a hit when we go. Super delicious brunch option on Mass Ave! They do not take reservations for weekend brunch, but we were able to be seated immediately around 10 am on a Saturday. It got quite busy around 11 am. I love the ambience inside of The Garden Table - super airy and a bit rustic with tons of sunlight and plants. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful! They have an extensive juice menu, so I highly recommend getting a juice flight. My favorites were the Garden Gate and the Hoosier Heater. They sell bottles of juice if something particularly strikes your fancy during your breakfast! They were unfortunately out of several juice options, which was a bummer for a lot of folks during the weekend brunch rush. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast burger - the cholula hollandaise was perfect! The fries were also particularly tasty. The rest of the table ordered the Garden Benedict and Ruben's Omelet. All plates were clean by the end of the meal! It's always so fun popping in here when I get the chance! I've often ended up here in random occasions and it is almost always a full house so usually a little bit of a wait. This weather had me craving a grilled cheese and I saw there was a cauliflower grilled cheese and tomato soup on the menu and it was PERFECT. Exactly what I had been craving. I also got the Candy Cane latte which got me in the holiday spirit! I enjoy coming here and having both tasty and healthy options in the menu! Our table was a bit wobbly and could use some attention. Perfect spot for a Sunday brunch on the patio! They have pretty flowers to make the outdoor seating area look cute. I started with an iced matcha which was really good, and got the turkey sandwich for my entree. I thought it was cool that they had lamb bacon as an option to add on, so I thought I'd try that but it wasn't really like bacon, it was more like long chunks of lamb and it was a little tough and chewy. The food and drinks were very good. I had the breakfast burrito and an espresso martini. Both were exceptionally good and I would come back for both. The ambience is cute, although somewhat basic / unremarkable. The service is where one star was lost for me. The staff were pleasant but seemed unenthusiastic to be serving. The bar seemed to take 30+ mins to turn drink orders but I think there was only one tender managing coffee orders, bar service, and juices. I have made a couple of stops here prior to this one and don't know why I had not reviewed yet. Definitely worthy of a stop if you are near Mass Ave downtown Indy. The dish had potato, tomato, corn, soybean, red onion, and smoked salmon. It was topped with a poached egg and hollandaise. Super filling dish and I will definitely order it again. Last time I came in here I had a burger, the burger was called Bomb AF Burger and it also had an egg on it. It was perfectly cooked, the egg and the beef. This place was very busy at lunch time but the server was quick and we did not wait to get seated either. The bar is right in the center of everything and they have fresh squeezed juices which they also use in their cocktails. So far for me the cocktails have been just ok. The place is very clean despite them being overly busy and there are lots of windows in front of the restaurant as well as some seating outside. Give it a try and your tummy will be happy! read more

Really not good. Disappointing considering I have had tasty food here before but I definitely wouldn't be back for brunch. The quiche was just not good. The recipe needs adjusted before offering this again. Think overcooked and dried out eggs and ham to the extent that you cannot taste the cheese. This was my first visit and I really enjoyed the food. We got the honey butter toast for the table, and that tastes very similar to a cronut. It was sweet and delicious. Then I got the Garden Benedict, and I liked it, but I think I prefer the more traditional dish with an English muffin instead of toast. Once the hollandaise sauce soaked the bread, it was easier to eat but it had to get to that point first. The food still tasted really good, that is just my one nit to pick. I also had the iced butterscotch latte, and it was pretty sweet so if you enjoy sweet drinks I recommend. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
