Dirty Smash....its like a minty spin on an Old Fashioned
    Torri B.

Wiseguy Lounge is a hidden gem on Mass Ave. It's ducked off in the second entrance to Godfathers Pizza too. So you can get a slice of pizza as big as your face AND get a handcrafted cocktail. We went in for celebratory cocktail and I tried a Dirty Smash, it's a minty spin on a old fashioned. The bartender was very generous with the portions of each beverage and very friendly. It's always a chill vibe in the lounge. Not too many people were in there for a Sunday evening but it was a good time.

Great spot! So cozy! Drinks are incredible and the ability to get pizza makes it the best! Service was quick! I'll be back for sure

Cool place. Bartender prior to 5:00 was a bit cocky. Bourbon on the pricy side. And I drink a Lot of it. I'm quite aware of typical prices. Comfortable seating. Neat ambience and decorations.

This is always a go to spot for my hubby and I to come to when craving a good cocktail. We haven't been in a while, so I like to check the menu out as some of the drinks change. The signature drinks are great but they have them all the time so I like to try something new. Tonight I went for good vibrations which has black rum in it. It was tasty. My hubby got sweetie pie and that was good, very very sweet. The service was good because it wasn't that busy the time we came (close to closing) which was odd for me as I'm used to coming when it's packed. The space is quite small, so seating fills quickly. I love the speakeasy vibe and they usually play great music. I also love how it's behind goodfellas and you can eat in there or take the drinks out to the tables where goodfellas is. It's a perfect pair!

While on a double date, we all popped in here for one cocktail each before seeing a show at Footlite Musicals on a Saturday night. It is easily accessible, while still giving a speakeasy vibe from the dark and moody decor + low lighting. We had walked across the street after dinner and got 4 seats at the bar around 6:50. We stayed for about 15 minutes before heading off to our show, but I would love to come back again for a couple of cocktails to try more! Everyone enjoyed their drink and our server was friendly. She immediately set us up with waters before our cocktails, with no waiting around for drinks to be made. Excellent service!

I have been to this speakeasy a couple of times now and definitely plan on going back. I really like the laid back vibe and LOVE the big leather couches. The food comes from Goodfellas pizza that the bar is situated behind. You enter through Goodfellas and walk around to the back to get to the bar. I have not had pizza from there yet but it does look good. I had a different bartender for each of my visits and both were attentive and nice. Adriana that waited on me the second time created the drink I ordered, it was called Mystery Lady. Mystery Lady had tea infused bourbon, Amaro, Cherry liquor, Demerara sugar, and Lemon. Richard from the first time I stopped was chatty and made me feel welcome, he made me a Peanut Butter Chocolate Martini and I really liked this drink as well. I see from some of the photos of the bar that it can get quite crowded but I went after the lunch hour and it was sparse and relaxed. I am already planning another trip here! Give it a try and you will be glad you did.

I crave this place close to, if not, everyday. The signature cocktails here are mouthwatering. I've tried almost every single cocktail here, whether my friends ordered it or me. I was never a bourbon fan until this place. I finally caved and tried it after my friends, because come on, what cocktail lounge could be that good when it's attached to a chain restaurant?? Do not judge a book by its cover here. The ambience is perfect. Such a speakeasy feel. Wait staff and bartenders are always on their A game. They're quick and fun to be around. My favorite cocktail lounge on Mass Ave.

The cutest speakeasy located right behind Goodfellas! Came here with a friend after dinner to grab a drink and I was so happy we did. I love how low-key the ambiance is and how attentive the staff is. The minute I walked up to the bar I was quickly greeted by the bartender and shown the menu. I usually opt for gin drinks so quickly settled on "A Mother's Love". The drink was perfectly balanced without being too sweet. The strawberries were a nice touch as well! Overall good experience and will be back to try more drinks!

This place was very delicious!! We loved our espresso martinis Ivy made!!! My man got a 2oz pour of Penelope bourbon as well & I got a lemon drop shot which was super flavorful! We were happy to see they had such a huge inventory! Just about anything you'd like!!! It's quite the hidden treasure! We can't wait to stop in again! Also, Ivy was very informative, which we appreciated a bunch!! Lastly we enjoyed how relaxing the ambiance of the space was. Such an amazing speakeasy! Highly recommend if you're in the area!!!!

Pizza on one side, cocktails on another! What more could you ask for?? This hidden gem will definitely get your tastebuds screaming "thank you!" When you walk in, there's a door to "wise guys" and you can walk straight back to a speakeasy type of feel bar. There's about a dozen bar tables, multiple couches and a few tables. It's all dark brown leather and wood. The place is relatively small, but they have amazing hand-crafted cocktails that are made to perfection. This place is open until 3am and at night there will be loud music on this side with the latest hits. It's a very cool, sexy vibe to have a girls night, go solo or enjoy a date with that special someone. Parking is free on the weekends . It does get a bit more crowded at night, once clubs close, but they are pretty quick with the service. We got two drinks and the total was $22 so it's pretty reasonable. I love coming to this place and if you find it in your heart to try something new and get the best of both worlds (pizza and cocktails) you have won in life. Enjoy!

Love a good secret, especially if I'm in on it and as of this weekend I am!(yay me!) How I have not heard of Wiseguy Lounge until now is beyond annoying... I have walked past the façade of this speakeasy thousands of times and had no idea... LOVE that! (Yet, like I mentioned earlier... annoying - ha!) If you're a fan of pb&j sandwiches start your evening with a pb&j shot. You're welcome and cheers to being in the know of this well kept Indy secret! ;)

Who knew Goodfellas had a bar?! Pass the counter and the corner once you enter Goodfellas and thank me later! We went to Wiseguy on a Thursday night and loved that they had drink specials! We were able to enjoy a fun girls night out and order several drinks without spending a large amount of money. And then if you need to put some food in your belly to accompany the fabulous drinks, just head back to Goodfellas.

    Irish Cashmere
    Christina B.

A speakeasy in plain sight! Or at least right around the corner from plain sight. It's a vibe. And that vibe is bourbon. They have shelves upon shelves of bourbon, and on the bottom shelves out of sight, some other alcohols. I had the Irish Cashmere from the seasonal cocktail menu. It had apple brandy, bourbon, and vanilla and Carmel. From the bar area, you can order a whole pizza or walk around to the counter to order a slice. My friend and I opted for a full pizza to soak up all the alcohol. It did take an hour for our pizza to arrive but they were very busy on a Saturday night. The pizza was pretty good too. The service was great. There were two bartenders and they never stopped moving. It was really loud with all the people crammed in there. And parking was terrible, but again it wasSaturday night. Otherwise it was really cool!

    High tables and couches!

They serve Narrow Gauge draft beer out of the St. Louis area and it is dynamite....a little pricey though. They had a barrel aged stout called Duality on draft and it was GREAT - one of the best beers that I've ever had and I don't usually like stouts. You can order cans or bottles of some of the beer to go. The bartender did an A+ job and she was delightful. I could have talked to her all day. Good Pizza and Craft Beer at a Small Indianapolis Taproom…read more Across from Goose the Market at the corner of Delaware and 25th, this spot is one of those places you're happy you found and want to tell your friends about. The vibe is relaxed with music piped through, and a couple TVs in case you want to watch sports or a movie while sipping your beer. The food is legit, and the tap list delivers. Let's start with the pizza. They've got all the classics--cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, BBQ chicken, buffalo--but the creative pies are where this place really shines. The brisket pizza with Alabama white sauce is interestingly good, and the pepperoni, basil, pesto, ricotta, hot honey pizza is next-level amazing. The house-made dough is dialed in and ties everything together beautifully. Pair that with a draft beer and you're set. The taproom regularly pours a good lineup from Narrow Gauge Brewing Company--IPAs, stouts, lagers, plus at least one fruity sour. Personal favorites include Atlantic (an English-style barleywine) and Galaphobia (milk stout), but you can't go wrong with a DDH IPA, Lining the Walls Hefeweizen, or the flagship OJ Run. Not in a pizza mood? The giant pub pretzels with beer cheese and mustard are perfect for sharing (or not ). Or grab an order of house-made breadsticks with garlic butter or homemade marinara for dipping. We've gone a few times and most recently during their Darkest Beer Days event. And it did not disappoint--an awesome way to celebrate the Winter Solstice with great dark beers and guest taps. I appreciate that they highlight not only Narrow Gauge, but also other Midwest breweries like Streetside Brewing, Butchertown Brewing, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, and Transient Artisan Ales at this special event. Bonus points: the owner shared that they'll close the taproom for private group events, and if your crew likes pinball, there are a few machines to keep things fun between pours. Definitely worth considering! Fantastic food, great beer, creative events, and a nice atmosphere--this place is an absolute win. We'll keep coming back (and bringing friends) and hope to see this place do more events in the future.

There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing!
