Poor Experience -- Miscommunication and Long Wait We waited an hour to be seated, which we didn't mind. When we ordered, I made it very clear to the waiter that I do not eat pork and specifically asked if they had turkey bacon. He confidently said yes, so we proceeded with our order. An hour later, our food arrived -- and it was loaded with ham and bacon. We asked the manager if it was turkey bacon, and he told us they don't even carry turkey bacon. So not only did we wait a full hour for food, but the waiter also gave us completely incorrect information about what they serve. The food had ingredients we explicitly said we couldn't eat. I really didn't want to go to the typical breakfast chains like IHOP so I opted for another broken egg café, which is a level up in my opinion. I was originally hell-bent on getting the French toast with powdered sugar, but I saw that apple fritter French toast and it was everything I thought it would be. Instead of Texas toast it was more of a fritter like pancake and the apples had this nice caramel and bourbon-y taste with chunks of apple. To make this dish even more indulgent you get two eggs and choice of side. I got my eggs over medium and two sausage patties. Grew up with sausage patties so I'm definitely on cloud nine- sausage links are nasty. They also have this pepper sauce that was kind of like hp sauce or Heinz 57 or pick a pepper sauce. I topped my eggs and sausage patties with that sauce. They also have some reasonably priced cocktails and bloody Mary's of all types. $10 bucks for a Bloody Mary is a steal in 2023. Service is friendly and Alyssa was a bright star in the morning and the ambiance is everything with great R&B tunes playing in the background. I wanted to like this place, maybe I expected it to be more than a fancy IHOP with cocktails. Three of us ate only one of us liked what they got. The fancy iced coffee leaves a lot to be desired. It seems it is made with hot coffee poured over ice and flavoring and milk is added. The problem with that is the coffee ends up extremely watered down, and tasteless. The eggs do not seem to be of any special quality and you really notice that when eating them. It's a breakfast place I was expecting more. Midway through our meal a nearby 2 top accidentally knocked a glass off the tiny table and broke it highlighting how impractical the setup is. Upon being shown the 2 top I politely requested the open booth next to us the Hostess told us it was saved for a "bigger party" yet within 1 mn. she seated a party of 2 there. we were also a party of 2. It was obvious Lee not a bigger party or about avoiding double seating the section. since it was filled immediately after we agreed to sit at the inadequate table. The bathroom was also a mess overflowing trash cans, toilet paper on the floor, and no hand towels The food and drinks were good but overall it feels like this place prioritizes high turnover over quality, professional, & honest service. Our tabletop was covered in crumbs when we sat down, and, due to uneven legs, it wobbled when any pressure was put on it. I might have ascribed this all to a an off day, but given that the food was unappetizing at best, I won't be back. My order was a vegetable omelet with a side of potatoes. I wasn't able to eat more than a few bites of either. The vegetables in the omelet were undercooked and underseasoned, and the potatoes were just as bland. They included an doughy crustless biscuit that must have come from a can, and everything was served lukewarm. I think the appeal of this place must be cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. Someone took a great deal of time to create a beautiful space that makes you feel like you have nothing else to do that day but enjoy breakfast. This is how I felt having breakfast here. My friend ordered the seasonal Honey Lemon Blueberry French toast and said it was delicious. My gluten-free lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes were also delicious. I love thé tartness of the goat cheese with the sweetness of pancakes. Scrambled eggs were good. The sausage is made in house, and is free-formed, so don't expect perfect circles. It has a nice herbaceous quality that was unique and enjoyable. I usually get their baked bacon, so this was a departure for me. I got the strawberry mimosa for the first time. Our experience was simply the best! Just finished breakfast. We were the first ones in at opening. We sat in the bar area. Brandon and Ashton provided an insanely awesome level of service to us!!! We had the seasonal Honey Lemon Blueberry French Toast and the Fried Stake Benedict. The food was phenomenal! The Salted Carmel and Vanilla Cream spiked coffees ROCKED! But back to Brandon and Ashton. I think Brandon was training Ashton. He did a really great job talking her through processes and offered pointers. I am business professional and community worker. I visited this restaurant location today during a not to not busy to semi busy hour of operations, which was between the hours of 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., to meet with a client to conduct a professional meeting. Service was okay, throughout, from ordering to checkout. However, there were some issues with the staff that I noticed from the get go that were obvious, which were, others staff/hosts did not smile, were not really friendly and were not really inviting when I arrived. In addition, we stayed sitting at the table to finish the meeting after eating and paying the tab. After awhile though, of paying the tab and sitting at the table still conducting business with the client, a manager in a green shirt (with red highlights in his hair) there, came to our table and showed us 90 minute sitting policy sign and said we had reached the 90 minute sitting policy and had to leave. I will not be visiting this location again. It was absolutely a terrible and humiliating experience being approached and essentially kicked out because of a policy. In addtion, what made it more worse were that staff stayed staring when we left and other onlookers/customers also stared. This is first time that I have ever gone to a restaurant as a paying customer and been kicked out of a table ESPECIALLY, when there were clearly still other tables for customers to sit at. To make your guests feel unwelcome at any point and time is a very unprofessional practice in a business. I would recommend to other professionals who need to conduct a long professional meeting not have one there. I am only giving this restaurant a 2 stars because our personal server was at the very least, professional throughout and because the food was at the very least decent. read more

I went in around noon on Friday 11/22 with some friends and my husband. I ordered the vanilla cold brew and the cream they put on top looked curdled once mixed into the coffee. The coffee itself was very acidic. My waiter was kind when I told him I didn't like the drink and got me something else. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and unfortunately within two hours of eating it, I was sick. I've never had food poisoning before but based on my symptoms I'd say this was what I had.
