My food was delicious. I did the lunch duo with the blackened shrimp salad and jambalaya. The service was okay, unfortunately our waiter forgot a drink and never returned till he was bringing our food, so we just had to take the drink off. The beignets are a little hard because they are biscuits, but the jam it came with was so good! I would go again for brunch. read more

The ambiance is really nice, good classic music and a friendly atmosphere. Our Server Rosa was attentive with excellent personality. I ordered the Madi Gra omelette with grits & English muffin. We also ordered the fluffy buttermilk pancakes with sausage links & scrambled The food was served heat hot and oh so so so so good. The chef was AWSOME! He introduced himself and began to tell us about the restaurant's in various area's also the other States. We're here from Sacramento, California hopefully you will consider opening a restaurant there or Elk Grove. We will be back. read more

Waited about 10 minutes but that was without previous reservation, so it was very quick coming in at lunch time! I've been here a few times, decided to come for in-town visit from family. They made a small mistake on the order, but fixed it very quickly (put a rush on it). Everything tasted great ! Searched Yelp after church for a brunch spot and found this Another Broken Egg Cafe. We joined the wait list and made our way over. Upon arrival, we checked in and were seated just a few minutes later at a hightop. The place was busy with people waiting outside to be seated despite a light drizzle. That was a sign that this must be good. Decor was fresh and bright, and atmosphere was comfortable despite every table being full. The menu included great options. We were delighted to see mock-tails and ordered the Pineapple Berry Agua Fresca which was refreshingly tasty. I enjoyed the Floridian omelette which was filled with cream cheese and topped with crabmeat, shrimp cheese and green onions. I added a Bourbon Street pancake which I shared with my daughter. She ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and said it was great. The food quality and service were excellent! We plan to return soon. read more

Very busy during brunch so definitely add yourself to the wait list. We waited about an hour on Saturday around 11am. Huge playground in the back so kids were entertained. Food was good, enjoyed waffles and pancakes. The friend chicken sandwich was also delightful. Inside was a bit crowded and only one bathroom. Would come back again if in area. read more

this wasn't my first time but definitely my last. The service was soooo bad I couldn't believe it. I recorded these ladies on my metas and vlogged the entire incident while expecting to record a great food experience the lady with orange hair was so rude and inconsiderate as well as the maybe Asian lady who said she was a manager had the nerve to gaslight me while getting a new receipt. I recommend to check in on google and join the waitlist ahead of time. When you get there, there is still a wait time. The host told me it was 45 minutes but we waited only 15 minutes because many groups left when they heard the wait time. I got the hash brown Benedict and the Mardi Gras omelette. Between the two, I would pick the Mardi Gras over the hash brown Benedict. The Benedict needed Cholula sauce to taste good but the Mardi Gras was flavorful. For the sides, skip the potato and get the grits instead. read more

I wish I could give this a 3.5/5 stars but I just couldn't quite give it a four. Me and a friend came here for brunch and one thing I do like about this place is that you can join the waitlist online before you show up so when we got there we didn't have to wait long at all! Once we were seated though, they put us at a weird table that was off to the side by itself and right next to the bar so it felt a little off but not a big deal. We didn't have anyone server come over for awhile though like maybe 10 minutes after we were seated and then after we were greeted our server took a long time to come back to our table the entire time we were here. Me and my friend both happened to order the crab cake benedict because it sounded yummy but neither of us ended up liking it. When it came out it smelled super fishy and it just did not taste great. The potatoes were really good but that was about it. Overall I would try this place again but I wouldn't order the crab benedict. read more

It's a pretty standard American style brunch. The wait is quite long even when my friend put us on the waitlist while on the way over. I wouldn't say the food was amazing but the menu selection was quite vast. There's so many breakfast options and endless French toast and pancake variations. I got the apple fritter French toast with a spiked caramel cold brew. The spiked caramel cold brew was quite yummy. If it weren't for the wait, I would say it's a pretty solid brunch place. read more

I was feeling a little nostalgic over the Thanksgiving holiday and wanted to get a big breakfast. I really didn't want to go to the typical breakfast chains like IHOP so I opted for another broken egg café, which is a level up in my opinion. I was originally hell-bent on getting the French toast with powdered sugar, but I saw that apple fritter French toast and it was everything I thought it would be. Instead of Texas toast it was more of a fritter like pancake and the apples had this nice caramel and bourbon-y taste with chunks of apple. To make this dish even more indulgent you get two eggs and choice of side. I got my eggs over medium and two sausage patties. Grew up with sausage patties so I'm definitely on cloud nine- sausage links are nasty. They also have this pepper sauce that was kind of like hp sauce or Heinz 57 or pick a pepper sauce. I topped my eggs and sausage patties with that sauce. They also have some reasonably priced cocktails and bloody Mary's of all types. $10 bucks for a Bloody Mary is a steal in 2023. Service is friendly and Alyssa was a bright star in the morning and the ambiance is everything with great R&B tunes playing in the background. I came around 8 since I know most people in Austin are still sleeping or out running or at the gym so if you want to beat the crowds go early - they open at 7! read more

Some of the best brunch options out there. The wait might be a minute but it's well worth the wait. I've tried all different kinds of pancakes, all delicious, but my favorite is the bourbon street pancakes. Great appetizer is the biscuit beignets. Service is great. We sat at the bar for breakfast, but we weren't greeted once we arrived. A few people at the host stand were engrossed in a conversation and didn't even notice us. So, I simply said, "We're going to sit at the bar." The coffee tasted burnt. My husband and I both ordered a traditional breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, and an English muffin. The English muffin looked like it had been bought from a store and wasn't even warm when it arrived. I only managed to eat the eggs and bacon on my plate. The potatoes looked like they had been frozen and reheated. Needless to say, we won't be returning for breakfast. It was a complete letdown. read more

Came in for breakfast with some friends and we had a great time! Portions are generous for normal prices and service was great. Like any brunch spot, it does get busy, but we only waited 25 minutes on a Sunday morning. The restaurant is cute, but not much room in the front while waiting. I really enjoyed my Country Power Bowl which I subbed the grits for potatoes (highly recommend)! My husband was initially concerned of the authenticity of "over-sized biscuit" but it was a large biscuit! We got chocolate chip pancakes to share. "Broken" is in the name, and wow... they nailed it. First, cold crab cakes. Sent them back. Then my "over-medium" eggs showed up over-hard and cold--like they'd been sitting in a witness protection program. English muffins? Untoasted. I actually toasted my own. Meanwhile, the Floridan omelet was perfect, and the salmon Benedict was tasty... but again with the cold, untoasted muffins. Came in on a Friday and it was not crazy busy, the staff was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable about the menu. I had one of the seasonal Benedict with lobster I think...or maybe crab? I don't recall but it was great! Loved the crispy onions it was topped with! I also had a cup of gumbo, it was my favorite out of everything I tried, super flavorful but not overpowering or super spicy at all, it also had a great thick consistency, wasn't watery at all! I wanted to like this place, maybe I expected it to be more than a fancy IHOP with cocktails. Three of us ate only one of us liked what they got. The fancy iced coffee leaves a lot to be desired. It seems it is made with hot coffee poured over ice and flavoring and milk is added. The problem with that is the coffee ends up extremely watered down, and tasteless. The eggs do not seem to be of any special quality and you really notice that when eating them. It's a breakfast place I was expecting more. The side of pancakes that were served to my daughter were silver dollar sized. 4 bucks for silver dollar sized pancakes???? I got a dish that involved a large biscuit and gravy with a side of bacon. Wasn't too bad but everyone else at the table was not impressed. On a positive note the staff is super friendly and did their best to accommodate us. read more

How could a Lobster Omellette deserve anything less than five stars?! Well, maybe it should be more like 4.5. Minus half a point for limited side options and long wait time. They operate off of a waitlist rather than reservations. I'd been to their northern location a few years ago, and I was excited to see they'd now opened a more convenient central location. Someone took a great deal of time to create a beautiful space that makes you feel like you have nothing else to do that day but enjoy breakfast. This is how I felt having breakfast here. I ordered the Honey Lemon Blueberry French Toast with eggs and bacon and received a generous portion of French toast, taking home the leftovers that I had two more times and still couldn't finish. The coffee was free-flowing, and our waiter provided excellent service. Can't wait until next time! read more

Poor Experience -- Miscommunication and Long Wait We waited an hour to be seated, which we didn't mind. When we ordered, I made it very clear to the waiter that I do not eat pork and specifically asked if they had turkey bacon. He confidently said yes, so we proceeded with our order. An hour later, our food arrived -- and it was loaded with ham and bacon. We asked the manager if it was turkey bacon, and he told us they don't even carry turkey bacon. So not only did we wait a full hour for food, but the waiter also gave us completely incorrect information about what they serve. The food had ingredients we explicitly said we couldn't eat. Very disappointing experience overall, and it showed a serious lack of awareness and communication from the staff. read more

First time at this new location. The restaurant is bright and cheery like a good breakfast place should be. Our server, Kale, was delightful and attentive. My friend ordered the seasonal Honey Lemon Blueberry French toast and said it was delicious. My gluten-free lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes were also delicious. I love thé tartness of the goat cheese with the sweetness of pancakes. Scrambled eggs were good. The sausage is made in house, and is free-formed, so don't expect perfect circles. It has a nice herbaceous quality that was unique and enjoyable. I usually get their baked bacon, so this was a departure for me. I got the strawberry mimosa for the first time. It was good, if a little sweet for me, and definitely spoke of summer. If you visit this location, ask to be seated in Kale's section. You won't be disappointed. read more

I first want to start that if you do decide to come here... come on a weekday or very early on a Sunday. We mafmde the mistake on coming Sunday and waiting over an hour when the hostess stated 30 to 40 minutes. They decided that a large group of people were more precedent to sit before smaller groups. Beside that yhe food here is great. We had the apple fritter French toast. This you have to order if you have a sweet tooth. Very good. My wife had eggs Benedict which she stated was yummy! I would decently come back no problem. But only when I know we are not going to wait half the day for a table . read more

Our experience was simply the best! Just finished breakfast. We were the first ones in at opening. We sat in the bar area. Brandon and Ashton provided an insanely awesome level of service to us!!! We had the seasonal Honey Lemon Blueberry French Toast and the Fried Stake Benedict. The food was phenomenal! The Salted Carmel and Vanilla Cream spiked coffees ROCKED! We ordered the Apple Fritter French Toast with scrambled eggs and maple chicken sausage, the Lobster Hash Benedict with City Grits, and the Salted Caramel Cold Brew coffee. Seriously delicious food, all of it! We had no complaints. The staff was all quite friendly and were all doing their best considering it was an incredibly busy Labor Day brunch rush. Based on the quality and taste of the food, I wouldn't return. The wait staff was kind but, overall, the restaurant did not seem to be managed well. Our tabletop was covered in crumbs when we sat down, and, due to uneven legs, it wobbled when any pressure was put on it. They seemed short-staffed on cleaners in general, as dirty dishes were left on surrounding tables for quite a while after diners left. I might have ascribed this all to a an off day, but given that the food was unappetizing at best, I won't be back. My order was a vegetable omelet with a side of potatoes. I wasn't able to eat more than a few bites of either. The vegetables in the omelet were undercooked and underseasoned, and the potatoes were just as bland. They included an doughy crustless biscuit that must have come from a can, and everything was served lukewarm. I think the appeal of this place must be cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. They might need to cut back on the menu a bit and focus on on the basics. I can't imagine ordering seafood from a place that can't manage a simple omelet. read more

An attendant explained we have to tap the validated ticket twice to see the correct price, which was still $25 (the standard $12/hour charge). This parking situation was frustrating and unclear.

Once inside, the ambiance was actually quite quaint and charming. That said, considering how much traffic this restaurant gets, I was surprised by how limited the space is. I honestly think expanding the property would make a huge difference, although I understand that may not be entirely within their control. One thing I will give them major credit for is the menu. Online, the selection makes it look somewhat limited, but once you're there, they actually have 50+ food options, so there is plenty to choose from. That was definitely a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, my entrée was disappointing. I ordered a shredded beef taco with salsa and substituted a side salad. The beef was extremely tender, but unfortunately, it was also very dry. The salad was another disappointment because the vinaigrette was honestly not good. I don't think I've ever had a vinaigrette that I actively disliked until this meal. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. I recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Austin with my brothers for the first time, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We ordered a variety of dishes from both the regular menu and their full menu, and I have to say the Lobster Hash Benedict was absolutely amazing. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion was generous enough that I couldn't even finish everything on my plate. Although I don't typically eat grits, our waiter kindly took the time to explain City Grits, and I'm now a big fan! They were creamy and flavorful, making for a great side dish. We also tried the Bourbon Pancakes and Pumpkin Waffles. While the bourbon flavor in the pancakes was more subtle than expected and I wasn't a fan of the banana, the pancakes were still delicious. The Pumpkin Waffles were fluffy and well-made, with a light pumpkin flavor that seemed to be more concentrated in the butter. It was subtle but enjoyable. Aside from the Lobster Hash, the standout dish for me was the Apple Fritter French Toast. It was absolutely the best breakfast item on the table, combining the right amount of sweetness with perfect texture. The coffee was served hot and fresh, and I loved the coffee cups they use. Our waiter was excellent--very patient and took his time explaining everything we had questions about, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side and felt cramped, but it was well kept and clean. I went to Another Broken Egg Cafe with four of my girlfriends, and we had such a great time! I ordered the huevos rancheros, and it was delicious, definitely hit the spot. Since it's a brunch spot, there were tons of vegetarian options, which I always appreciate. We also tried the beignets, and they were so good, crispy, fluffy, and just sweet enough. One of my favorite things about this place is their seasonal menu. It's fun to try something new each time. The service was fantastic too. Our manager, Daniel, was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. There's also plenty of parking, which made things super easy. Dine in | Brunch | $30-50 I returned, I've had amazing experiences here with my servers in the past, now my server Taylor was such a sweetheart, she gave an excellent service even if it was close to the end of the day, which the lady at the main door didn't gave, she said that the store was closed and it was 1:30 and i called before to make sure i could still eat at the restaurant and they said yes ?? i don't know what happened there, i felt confused as they told me that i could go but the the lady at the main door said something else. They do not USE real eggs it's all from the carton I asked them to give me Real eggs 4 times and they still gave me gum blah blah blah fake eggs ,-from a carton also they honey they have is corn syrup so they are not a good product genuine ingredients restaurant. However... since I'm comparing... I did like yesterday's gravy more... I guess First Watch's gravy was healthier (turkey sausage) and needed milk- it was good, don't get me wrong, plentiful and flavorful, but... the other one was better ‍ Then we also shared some of these strawberry French toast. The French toast was thick and yummy and the whole thing looked super delish! I personally would have liked real whipped cream on top- I think this was miracle whip and just a let down in consistency for me. Yuck. It was left behind. And the strawberries were not all fresh? It had a great flavor, but we found we were sorting thru the strawberries to get the fresh ones versus some that were not. My daughter said she enjoyed it and would get it again... but also didn't like those 2 details. Anyway we are being picky. But those are opportunities for improvement- so that's what it's all about. The other friends got some omelettes and a veggie dish but we were seated far so I couldn't get their pictures- oh and a delicious morning drink with orange juice and some other juices that we unfortunately spilled all over... but most of it was delicious !
