They made cookies and shared with us - omg! So good!

Came here recently with a friend for dinner and had a very nice experience. It was part of their soft opening so there was a limited menu. My friend went for the Mushroom Ravioli with cream sauce, I went for the Caesars Salad. There was an option to add chicken for $6 but I opted to keep it all greens. We tried the Matcha drinks and I requested less sweet and he did a perfect job. The concoxion was right in my sweetness range which I appreciated. The service here was very attentive and I liked how he was very patient with us while we asked questions. Well the ravioli looked appetizing, and my Caesars Salad not only looked aesthetically pleasing, but it was appetizing as well. I liked how the salad was evenly coated with the perfect amount of dressing as some places put in way too much dressing. I believe it was around $16. Afterwards they walked by our table with a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven and offered us a complimentary sample. Oh my - superb! Very nice, small quaint place to hang out, get some coffee, they have wifi, and enjoy some unique dishes. I believe he said the sandwich was a popular menu item offered for lunch. We met the owner as she greeted us and was very nice and polite.

Stumbled on Lana's Cafe by scrolling on IG. (I find the best places on that platform) Been following them for a week or so. Finally had an opportunity to check them out. So glad I did. What amazing attentive service. Such hospitality. Everyone was so nice, and helpful. Mike our server, is the young son of the owner, Lana. (Who by the way is stunning) He greeted me and sat me at my gorgeous table, with a candle and a fresh pink flower, beautiful water glasses. Just an elegant, intimate table. I was given water and a menu. I looked over the drinks. And the food menu. Another gentleman came over to ask if I'd like a cocktail. I didn't see mojito on their list of drinks. But he did offer to make one, and that it was actually his specialty. Mojito was really good. A little different than what I have had before. But it was refreshing with fresh mint leaves and a lemon slice. Also ordered the strawberry matcha as well, and I'm not an expert on matcha, but the strawberry matcha drink really was good. And the young man, Mike made that drink. Placed my food order of the portobello mushroom ravioli. Which was outstanding. The mushroom had a nice tender earthy flavor. Loved the al dente texture of the pasta.. outstanding meal. The sauce was really good. Towards the end of the night the chef came out and offered chocolate chip cookies! Yes! They were hot out of the oven, soft, hot, chewy, chocolatey cookies, and they were like grandmas cookies! Loved everything. Service- 5 stars easily. Food- 5 stars. clean, light, filling. Environment- gorgeous inside. With intimate tables outside.

Great good the chicken shawarma and syrnyki were very tasty. The fries were okay and tasted more like fast food fries. Very dish had a unique presentation and you can tell they really care about the esthetic. I would come again!

    Tuscan Beef Pappardelle -- Incredible

Came back for more delicious food, since they updated their menu--This time, the Tuscan beef pappardelle.. the beef was rich and silky & the pasta perfectly al dente Not sure where else you can get some incredible homemade meals for such reasonable prices.. They recently got some new beers on tap too, so it's a great spot to quench your thirst--Happy hour = killer $10 drinks Service is always incredible!

Their fried chicken sandwich was audibly crisp with fresh tomato and lettuce that I made two meals out of. To end the perfect meal... my husband actually coordinated with staff to create "Gender Reveal" pancakes! I didn't realize what they were until I got to the yummy surprise! Their cream is delicious! The pancakes were soft and sweet! The experience, unforgettable. It brought happy tears to my eyes and we really appreciate the thought and care put into our day. We will DEFINITELY be repeat customers!

I ordered the migas, and the amount of onions in the dish was overwhelming--so much so that it felt like I had ordered a plate of onions rather than migas. The masa cakes were definitely the standout item and were absolutely delicious. However, the rest of the dish fell short. The sauce was extremely rich, making it difficult to enjoy or finish the meal. That said, the restaurant itself is adorable, and our waiter was fantastic. The service and atmosphere were both great. While this breakfast wasn't a hit for me, I'll still return and stick with favorites like the fried green tomatoes and taquito salad, which were excellent during my previous visit.

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.

You have to scan a QR code upon arrival to get in line, thought that was weird that the host didn't just add you to the list- anywho. The wait was about 15 min , we walked out to the patio and discovered lots of neat plants, and the mimosa bar. Patio was covered for the most part with ac units and fans to cool you off. We were sat inside. Our waitress was a older pescatarian lady which was cool since i'm pescatarian too. She provided great suggestions and was very personable. We ordered the prima dora omelet which would have used more filling but it was over all good, the black beans we ordered in the side , we possible the best black beans i've had. We also ordered a veggie benidict off the seasonal menu. The hollandaise sauce was a bit bland but I used the yellow bird habenero salsa and it kicked up the flavor profile- Overall we really enjoyed the food, service & vibes!

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.
