Almresi is a fantastic option for a wonderful dinning experience in Vail. A reservation is REQUIRED. The restaurant is very small and people sit for a very long time, so if you don't have a reservation, I doubt you'll get in. The restaurant is gorgeous with a swiss chalet theme. The host stand area is a bit crowded but they they have an area to leave your coats which I think is essential in Vail. The fondue was incredible! We started with some drinks and wine, then had the truffle cheese fondue appetizer, which was fantastic. Each of us then did the full fondue experience. Just WOW. There was so much food, there was more than enough to go around. I honestly think we could have done 2 portions and shared it between the three of us it was so much. The fondue setup was incredible though, a three layer warmer one at the top with broth, a hot grill in the middle and a broiler at the bottom to melt cheese and the fixings in little dishes. The dessert case looked incredible but honestly we were so stuffed we couldn't even get any dessert. 10/10 experience, you have to go if you are in Vail!

Go! Go now! Food- wonderful gizmo that I dare not call a fondue pot. Upstairs you cook in broth, middle level you sear and first level is a salamander style oven. I want one for home. Service- Guy came and checked in on us multiple times. Ambiance- Relaxing setting after a day of runs at Vail. There were some louder folks but our focus was on the food. Glad we went there, even though it was a pricier meal. We won't get the opportunity like this anywhere near California and the meal was delicious.

This Austrian German cuisine restaurant is beautifully designed. We loved the dining area. The staff are super friendly from the hostess to our server ... all very welcoming and friendly. Our server provided great recommendations. The food was tasty and loved how all the flavors came together. We ordered the short rib ... was a tiny bit dry but still tasty with the gravy. The pork shank was my favorite ... so tender and juicy. The mustard they have with the dish is soooo good, best mustard I've ever had!

Giving this a 5 star no complaints about this place, food was delicious, our waiter was super nice and helpful, it's so cute and themed, nothing bad to say, would come back again and again

We love cute European places to dine, especially German ones because they remind me of my late father. Thank you for the delicious food. Definitely made me think of my father and how I wish to have shared more places like this with him.

Very cute European ambiance with a traditional Bavarian menu. Host, bartender, and waiter were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. For the above, 5/5. However for me, the food was a bit of a disappointment. Pretzel and brat (2/5): bland. Thank goodness for the mustard otherwise would be hard to eat alone. Pork shank (SCHWEINSHAXE): (3/5) sauerkraut was good. Mashed potato's dry. Pork lacked additional flavor. Short ribs (SCHMORBRATEN) 2/5: short ribs lacked flavor. Spatzel was tasteless - taste like air. Red cabbage was overwhelmed by apple. Maybe it's because we just returned from a trip to the alps where the food was so authentic and delicious, but the food here was a disappointment for taste. Ambiance and service were great

We went to Almersi Vail while spending a weekend skiing in Beaver Creek, and were NOT disappointed! This place is IT. Using Open Table notifications, we were able to sneak in a reservation when another table presumably cancelled. We arrived on a Saturday night and were immediately sat for our reservation. My husband is from Germany and was so excited to hear German music playing, but not the over the top Bavarian polka kind... true German music. The atmosphere was great and felt very authentic. The food was just as good! We got the cheese fondue app, which was perfect for two people. And then I got a salad and hubs got a schnitzel. Everything was delicious! Prices were on par for the area, but the quality was there to match it! Our server, who I believe was named Danielle, was also fantastic! All in all, a great experience! We would love to come back sometime!

Perfect German meal. My friends who lived in Germany kept saying it reminded them of Germany. The decor and service were excellent. I split the fondue with my wife and it was very good. The server told us what all the fondue items were and how to cook them. The only downside to the fondue is that it was hot to sit next to. 8 people said thank you and goodbye as we left.

Pork shank was just as excellent as Pat , the bar tender.

Almresi had a wonderful atmosphere and decor and the owner and staff was superb . The food was delicious as well. I will

Wow! Very impressed with the great service we received in this restaurant. We had no reservations but they were able to comfortably accommodate all 7 of us! The presentation of the food was stunning. We enjoyed the pretzel as an appetizer and we all got a different drink. Mine was the best one in my opinion...the traditional German mulled wine is set on fire in front if you and allowed to melt the sugar before dropping it inside! All entrees were in point. I had a fresh salad and shared a pasta dish with my hubby. Definitely a nice treat overall!

It was pretty quiet (still off-season), and my husband and I were the only ones there when we walked in around 10. We sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with Jeremy; I ordered the Gingerbread Man (take on an old fashioned with brown butter washed bourbon, and my husband got the "50 Shades of Green" - definitely one of the most unique cocktails we've ever tried! The description "arugula infused gin, yogurt washed aquavit with Pandan herbs & lime" - it had everything - some sour, some umami, some sweet from the Pandan - what a fun and unique cocktail. Price: Expect standard Vail pricing for high-end cocktails, with most drinks ranging between $16-$20. Customer Service: The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient; even though we stayed for quite a while to catch up, we felt welcomed and well-attended to the entire night. Atmosphere This spot has a cool, welcoming vibe that feels very safe. It's the kind of environment where you can really settle in and enjoy the company you're with. The Drinks I ordered the Sangre del Sol. The flavor was amazing, though be warned it is very strong! It's an excellent choice if you enjoy a cocktail with a serious kick, but I ended up letting my friend finish mine after a few sips. Overall Experience I highly recommend Root & Flower for a beautiful setting and top-tier service. Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at the S. Frontage Rd. East garage right nearby. I'll definitely be back!

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

Only four of us were there as the other two were across the street at Christy's returning their rental skis. There was a table of 6 but the hostess said she couldn't sit us until the other two arrived. Right then, a guy walks up and asks for that same table. He was by himself and she gave the table with six chairs to him. His full party was clearly not there but she sat him anyway. Why is that allowed? Clearly favoritism. And to be clear, two of his friends showed up and the other three never arrived. So, at that point we told the hostess we were now a table of four and she said we could sit at a table that had 3 chairs. Well okay....we took it. We grabbed the table and asked other tables around us for the extra 3 chairs and everyone was nice enough to give us the extra chairs. Our server, Suzanne was excellent.
