A series of "small plate" selections feature a very nice blending of flavors. Their sandwich selections are top notch. A smoker out back by the ski lift allows the inclusion of some excellent smoked meats including beef brisket and Mojo Smoked Pork. The bartenders are knowledgeable and serve up some fantastic mixed drinks - including excellent Martinis and Margaritas. Ask them what their signature drink specialty is and you won't be disappointed.

    Caprese flatbread - delicious!!

The atmosphere is nice, server was great, but food isn't good! You can get better food at longhorn steakhouse.

I'm so glad I found this spot while vacationing in Beaver Creek…read more We were looking for a place to grab some appetizers as we weren't that hungry and The Lookout Bar was the perfect spot as they only serve drinks and noshes. The Lookout bar is located in The Westin and on the top floor with stunning views. We were first greeted by the host Hal who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I noticed Hal walking through the bar checking on guests and also assisting the servers as needed with drink and food orders. We were seated at the window which had stunning views of the local village and mountain. Our servers John and Augustina were excellent. They never left us waiting for service and continuously checked in on us. We ordered dirty martinis which were served nice and cold. The only negative about the martinis would be the glasses are smaller than what martinis at most other places would be served in so it is simply a smaller serving. However, the wine was a generous pour. For bites, we ordered the Pimento Cheese which was served warm with baguette. So tasty. The beef + blue toasts. This was okay but not our favorite. The burrata salad. Very refreshing and delicious. Since we were not staying at the Weston and had to valet, they were kind enough to validate our ticket. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and experience the beautiful views and delicious drinks and small bites.

The drink menu has several unique choices. They do have some light snacks if you need something to nosh on. Last time we had a snobby server. This time, the staff was friendly. Sat at the end of the bar in front of the sea food prep station and watched several orders of fresh…read moreshucked oysters and a shrimp cocktail being prepared followed by prepping of more oysters. The woman at the station finished preparing a dozen oysters that had already been cracked open. Very nice visual presentation. She then wiped the shucking knife with a dry towel put the back in its place, folded the towel and wiped the board with it. Disposed of her gloves, took out the trash, replaced the trash bag, no hand washing, touched the same towel, put on new gloves, handled the trash can again. Rearranged some clean plates, prepped another order of oysters using same towel again wiping down it. She restocked the condiments wearing the same gloves (this was done a couple of times). Puts on fresh gloves to prepare a shrimp cocktail. Uses the same towel to wipe out the shrimp cocktail glass. Box of gloves is now left on the cutting board and towel again used to wipe cutting board. Shift change: she takes off her apron folding it setting it on the cutting board where the oysters had been while she talks to her coworker. Next out comes a little boutique shopping bag that also lands on the cutting board. Her replacement went on to shuck oysters on the same area of the board never giving it more than a wipe with a dry towel which he also used to handle oysters. My food and drinks were great, no seafood, and if not for what I watched this would have been a 4 star review. Not taking the chance that the kitchen has better food hygiene practices and I won't be back

We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. This restaurant is inside the Westin, and you can park in the garage and get your ticket validated.

Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.
