We got the Mac and cheese both the crab and truffle Mac and cheese. The waiter went out of his way to get my partner Mac and cheese without any green peppers which was very nice and went to get me more truffle oil on my Mac which didn't taste like truffle at all. But, the Mac and cheese had no cheese. It tasted like Mac and cheese from a box which it probably is. Disappointing for sure. I am always looking for great Mac and cheese. They did offer to add Parmesan and took it off the bill. They said it was a 4 cheese sauce but I don't taste any cheese. I am pretty particular though as Mac and cheese is my favorite comfort food. I'll try something else here later in the week. Came and tried breakfast. I ordered oatmeal and was brought a huge bowl of watery oatmeal which was cold. I sent it back and the next bowl wasn't so watery or cold. Why give me that first bowl? Not good. Then came in for late night drink and homemade ice cream. I was extremely disappointed with our family experience here. First, the wild eye waitress was very pushy and not friendly. It was an inconvenience to her that right after looking at the menu we weren't ready to order our meals simultaneously ordering our drinks. Maybe someone quit or they were short staffed but she appeared in the "weeds." My stepmothers Cobb salad came with no dressing. She was afraid to ask for more (I will get to that in a min). So I had looked at this menu for quite a few hours online in excitement to come to this restaurant. I was so excited because 2 people in my family have celiac disease. I saw that there was a warm brie dish that was (gluten-free upon request). So I specifically said I want it gluten-free. When it came to the table I mentioned that mine was supposed to be gluten-free. The man (who wasn't the waiter) goes to investigate. Our waitress comes over to me and with an attitude "Did you really order that gluten-free?" I said "yes, it is on your menu that you offer it. I find it strange that it is on your menu and you don't offer it!" So the staff is unaware of their own small menu I had memorized after looking at the menu for under 20 mins. Also unaware of their cocktail menu because when we ordered named drinks from their menu--she had no idea what we were talking about. So after my brie issue my stepmother didn't want to bother the hostile staff for a small amount of dressing. Then my father and I had planned to split the $42 ribeye steak and we ordered it medium. It comes inedible, burnt and well. I usually can eat it if someone overcooks it, but I had to send it back. The sides that came with it were good. I also tasted the pickles that came with the chicken sandwich. I LOVE vinegar and acidity but those were the most acidic pickles I and my sister had ever tasted! For the positive--others liked the trout, and Mac and cheese (which you have to be a moron to fuck up)! read more

Convenient location, decent menu, good food, and probably the best price at the location. It is steps away from the Strawberry Park Express lift and a bridge away from the Sentennial express lift. It has a fireplace to warm you up. You can get a quick drink or hot chocolate from the bar or have a nice relaxing sit down meal. Unlike the other restaurants in the village, Fireside serves the full menu for lunch, so you can get more options than just burgers and sandwiches and dips. Their price is unbeatable too (streak frites is $29 at Fireside and $44 from the lunch menu at the Chophouse). Their Colorado Trout and ELK bolognese are also very good and for a very reasonable price ($28) considering the location (comparing to the $29 sandwiches at other places). Their sandwich meals are $14-15 (you can only get a bowl of chili for this price on the mountain). read more

My mom and I stopped in here for dinner on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. It's a pretty quiet place so we didn't expect the good to be as amazing as it was! I ordered the Caprese Flatbread and it was delicious and my mom got the brisket sandwich. The brisket was fantastic - smoked perfectly. Topped it off with truffle mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. Beaver Creek has some pretty mediocre food, so we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food here. Popped into the Osprey Grill on a cold day this weekend for lunch while skiing with the family, everyone was freezing and we needed a break. What a find! From the moment Zach (ski valet) helped my girls off with their boots to the very good and reasonably priced lunch menu, we realized we'd been missing out on this perfect on mountain lunch spot. Food was better and more affordable than the other on mountain options without the lines and hassle of finding a table. Easily hop on the Strawberry Lift when you're done and back to skiing! Highly recommend giving Osprey Grill a chance you nee lunch break on the mountain. read more

The chefs are phenomenal. Sam Bartlett and Ryan Murray prepare succulent dishes for dinner, lunch and breakfast. It's a foodies dream come true. Spread the word of mouth on this place because it's hidden in Beaver Creek village and you could miss it as it's just steps from the Centennial lift and hidden away. But not for long when the word spreads amongst people that know great food and are vacationing to ski or enjoy the area. Look for the Osprey hotel and head for the lounge near the bar. The wings and Reuben sandwich are both off the hook. Green pork chili, charcuterie and ribeye are delicious too. read more

I was very disappointed by the rude reception we received here. The extremely rude hostess turned my daughter and I away when we wanted to have a quick drink (her a hot chocolate, and me a glass of wine). First she said the hot chocolate machine was broken, so I asked for a root beer and she quickly said with extreme annoyance that they did not have root beer. She couldn't even look at me in the face. She wouldn't seat us and made it extremely clear that we were not welcomed. This is also after having been there the day prior, my family of 4, when we also commented on her rudeness as we left. This teeny tiny restaurant is so surprisingly good and affordable for the Beaver Creek area. The service is spectacular and friendly. They have a great wine list and full bar. We skied in yo the hotel to warm up and ended up stopping for lunch. They gave us slippers to wear instead of ski boots which was very considerate. I got a cheeseburger which was very good. The service was amazing everybody greeted us kindly. Very convenient location to ski in and out. Would definitely recommend. We stayed at the Osprey for our vacation and were delighted to find the food was delicious! It is very reasonably priced (as far as Beaver Creek goes) and they have a wide variety of dishes. The short rib mac and cheese, quiona and kale salad, and the burger were our favorites. The servers were friendly and very attentive. John the bartender made us feel so welcomed. He made room at the bar and moved chairs around so we could enjoy the Broncos/Patriots game. He brought water without us asking probably knowing we were parched from the days skiing. He allowed us to sample the craft beers made small but important accomodations for us all around. The day before our actual visit, Matt and another female bartender at the Osprey Lounge convinced me to try the food. Hesitant as I was to try the food because it was a Vail Resorts restaurant, the food was very good. I tried a special blue cheese and bacon burger and it was perfectly medium cooked and seasoned. I also had the wings with a bacon blue dipping sauce. The wings are smoked and tasted so but I would have preferred the wings to be drenched in the wing sauce. This is a tiny, somewhat spendy but very comfy place to grab a beer or some small plates while skiing, or really anytime you're at Beaver Creek. I've sampled a bite of the burger ($12), the wild mushroom quesadilla with cotija cheese ($8) and the truffle fries ($8). All were delicious and tasted indulgent, not like your typical ski fare. Perfect snacks that are shareable (we had a group of 5). They have a great beer selection (Stella drafts were around $6 I think) and top shelf spirits (Jamo shots for $8). Besides the intimate, warm feel of this lounge - with a long communal bar table in front of a fireplace that made for fun conversations between everyone, both strangers and friends - what made our experience here so wonderful were the funny, friendly and over-the-top accomodating servers. I felt catered to in the very best way - even with us being sweaty, rowdy and decked out in bulky ski gear as we all were. The menu features a bunch of my favorite tapas-sized foods like fried asparagus spears, brussels sprouts topped with butter and cheese, crispy bean and oaxaca cheese tacos with avocado and crema, seared tuna, beet salad, shrimp and grits with jalapeno aioli, fried brie with jam and even a lamb gyro. They also feature a few types of steaks, seafood including scallops and snapper, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and soups like tomato sage bisque and carrot-ginger-coconut cream. We came here at around 1 for lunch and none of their soups were ready. Our hot chocolates were lukewarm at best. We had to ask several times for refills because the waiter "forgot." When we finally got our food after 40 minutes, the burgers did not have the the toppings we asked for. The burgers tasted average, and the fries were mushy. The brisket mac and cheese had no flavor. We absolutely love the Osprey Fireside Grill. The food is phenomenal and just the right amount of food to get powered up to return to the slopes. Our daughter is doing a weekly ski lesson program at Beaver Creek so we are in town most weekends. We end up at the Osprey most of those weekends as we love the excellent service (especially from our favorite waitress Danielle). read more

The restaurant has been redecorated and rearranged in the last year, and a new chef has been hired. We have always enjoyed the bar and restaurant in years past while on vacation, but it has gotten even better. Prices are reasonable, and food is great.
