My family really enjoys Ed'z! We've been a handful of times and every time everyone is very friendly. The chicken pot pie is truly delicious, and I absolutely love the crust on top. I just wish it was baked in a pastry crust, too. :) My mom always orders the half chicken and loves it. A well kept secret by the locals, Ed'z features a modern decor with friendly service, and amazing food. I should warn you, the portions are on the bigger side and reasonably priced for the amount of food. The blooming onion was cooked to perfection and so was the meatloaf. The food is great but the service was lacking tremendously. We arrived at 4pm and did not receive our food until 5 and multiple other tables received their food and drinks before us. We were only a party of 2. We asked for another round of beers and had to wait 20 minutes for the server to come by again to ask again for another round when we had already asked him for this before. We have had this issue with being ignored at Ed's and having terrible service multiple times. It is sad as long time locals to experience this kind of service when we get great service at many other places. If you're a person of color, be wary as you might not get the best service. read more

We went here on May 13. The parking lot was fairly full. Ed'z has been open a few months att his point I think. They are in the same restaurant group as Northside Kitchen, Southside Benderz and Fattoria. Since it's mud season, it was not full but still pretty busy. We grabbed two seats at the bar and checked out the menu. I ordered the 7552' and my wife ordered the Courtesy Call. They were both really good but my glass was sticky from the grenadine all over it. We got a half rack of Ribs and the short rib pit roast for dinner. For sides, I got the charred broccoli and green beans while my wife got green beans and onion rings. Everything was spot on and full of flavor. The veggies were cooked perfectly and both of our meats were fall apart tender. The staff was fairly attentive but it seemed like they were a little short staffed at the bar. This would be a great place for a more casual romantic date or a nice dinner out that won't break your budget. I would imagine that all the food here is as good as the other restaurants they own. It's definitely a welcome addition to the food scene in the valley and we'll be coming here quite a bit. read more

In the evening, there is dim lighting over the open floor plan, which draws your attention to the large fire place or bar that wraps around opposite sides of the restaurant. This would be a good place for a date night. The wedge salad is the perfect size to be split between two people for an appetizer. They also have really good chicken pot pie.
