Clam pasta

Incredible food and drinks! I saw it had good reviews but didn't expect it to be this good! The service was a little slow, we had a reservation for 6:45 and didn't get sat until 7:05. I'd say it was worthy the wait though! We were able to sit outside and it was a good little vibe and great weather. There is a bocce court outback too if you want to hangout after dinner!

Three stars is for the service but the food was very good as usual. Our server Katy was not on the ball. We had to ask for water several times and it took a long time for the plates and empty beer bottles to be cleared from the table. I had to ask for everything to be done when it should be done automatically. It's a shame that such good food is tainted by the lack of good service.

Pork porterhouse with peaches

Zinos never disappoints. 20 yrs ago we lived in the valley and it was our favorite for the mussels . They are still terrific . Tonight octopus salad for my entree, more than large enough and delicious. The dried grapefruit, yum . My husband had the pork porterhouse huge and delicious with peaches Service was great Such a fun place See you next year

Food was alright, do not recommend the pizza, bland and terrible crust. Most other dishes are better. The drink is amazing. Service is top tier. The Ambiance is unmatched and the best I've ever seen.

Pizza with eggplant

A fine dining Italian restaurant that also serves a great pizza. We three enjoyed sharing an Arugala salad with pomegranate and pastashios (delicious and plenty for 2 or even 3) followed by lasagna, fettuccine carbonara and an eggplant pizza. The pasta is all housemade, the carbonara nicely spiced with pancetta and the pizza crust was bubbly and slightly burnt as it should be. Alex, our server, was helpful with advice, timely, professional and friendly. All service staff were excellent. The atmosphere is sophisticated and comfortable. This would be a fine Italian restaurant in any city. (Yes, the bread is delicious.)

I like to call them *fajita mussels* The very best in the valley!

So, kudos to the service and culinary team for another memorable night at Zino's. We had such great service and food. We went to the bar and had the greatest cocktails ( matcha tini and a paper plane ) and then went to the table and had the BEST service by Alex. Started with mussels and carpaccio, followed by the two tags. We took dessert to go and had the Amarone for dinner. Can't wait to go back.

Shrimp Scampi with a twist. Caper berries, Calabrian Chili butter and Fregola pasta

Great restaurant choice when visiting Beaver Creek. Highly recommend. The pasta is homemade and the prosciutto was some of the best I have had "since Spain" aka in a long time. The burrata had a great pesto with aged balsamic and tomato jam. Delicious! I did not love the mussels but everything else was amazing so it's forgiven. They were cooked in a skillet and I prefer a broth. But still tasty. For dinner my husband ordered the butternut squash ravioli. He loved it. You can order a half order which is three or a full order which is 5. The sauce was delicious (according to him). My friends ordered the scampi and said it was delicious. It had very different flavors than traditional scampi. It was served with caper berries and Calabrian chili butter which gave it a little kick. I ordered the pappardelle with veal meatballs, ricotta and marinara sauce. All of their pasta is hand rolled and made fresh. It was cooked perfectly, al dente. The veal meatballs were very tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed. I had the tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious! The crème brûlée my friend had looked good but the custard was just so-so. Gelato was fantastic with very fun flavors. Pros: Great fresh and interesting flavored food High quality Ingredients Great service Excellent drink choices Nice decor and ambiance Fantastic food! Cons: Make a reservation don't try to just pop in. It was a Monday night and packed! Parking lot was a sheet of ice so be careful Crème brûlée and muscles were so-so Not many traditional Italian options if you are looking for that. We were not so it was a fantastic choice. Highly recommend. Even if you can sit in the bar area it is worth the trip.

Enjoy the ambience and layout here, spacious and airy. The food however was mediocre to me--possibly because it had been a bit hyped up among friends. Although I must admit I don't often touch Italian cuisine, I do however love lasagne. The lasagne serving was a bit on the small end. But that wasn't the problem, it was lean on the carby part which is what I love about lasagne--the soft pasta part that melts in your mouth. I even like the Costco lasagne more--don't judge me! Just for some perspective, friends and hubby loved both the lasagne and the peach pizza--yes you read that right, they put peach on the pizza. The cheese was a bit hard and chewy on the pizza in my opinion. Maybe I'm just picky about Italian food. Give it a try, you might think different.

What a fun fun fun cocktail bar! We were up in Vail for a wedding weekend with friends, and…read morestumbled upon this cocktail bar after the rehearsal dinner. It was pretty quiet (still off-season), and my husband and I were the only ones there when we walked in around 10. We sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with Jeremy; I ordered the Gingerbread Man (take on an old fashioned with brown butter washed bourbon, and my husband got the "50 Shades of Green" - definitely one of the most unique cocktails we've ever tried! The description "arugula infused gin, yogurt washed aquavit with Pandan herbs & lime" - it had everything - some sour, some umami, some sweet from the Pandan - what a fun and unique cocktail. Shortly after we walked in, a huge group of 10-12 women walked in followed by some other groups shortly after them. It was a really fun atmosphere and both cocktails were 10/10.

Price: Expect standard Vail pricing for high-end cocktails, with most drinks ranging between $16-$20. Customer Service: The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient; even though we stayed for quite a while to catch up, we felt welcomed and well-attended to the entire night. Atmosphere This spot has a cool, welcoming vibe that feels very safe. It's the kind of environment where you can really settle in and enjoy the company you're with. The Drinks I ordered the Sangre del Sol. The flavor was amazing, though be warned it is very strong! It's an excellent choice if you enjoy a cocktail with a serious kick, but I ended up letting my friend finish mine after a few sips. Overall Experience I highly recommend Root & Flower for a beautiful setting and top-tier service. Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at the S. Frontage Rd. East garage right nearby. I'll definitely be back!

Stopped in for some late night bites…read more Vibe: Comfy with lots of table, couch, and comfy chair options. Dim mood lighting. Board games and little free library inside. Good music. Overall a very good vibe and very inviting to hang out. Service: Friendly and fast Food: Menu is definitely a step above your classic bar food, I got a sandwich special and steak tips. The sandwich was a grilled cheese croissant that included smoked gouda and balsamic reduction and it was really good. The steak tips were okay, decent flavor, a little chewy, maybe because they were cut so small? Value: Total after tip was $30ish for a 'just right' portion so may a little over valued. Overall this place was such a good vibe with chill staff and good food.

We were able to sample the wine before getting a bottle which I appreciate. The wine we had was delicious. Now food was a little bit of a miss. We got a charcuterie board which was good. The cheese and salami selection was good and it came with crackers, marcona amonds, fig spread and olives. I mean honestly nothing fancy or unique about it. But it pairs well with wine. We also got the focaccia bread which I felt was kind of greasy. I didn't even dip it in the oil cause it had enough oil in its own. We also got the margherita flatbread, but that didn't feel like a flatbread at all. The bread was thick and made it feel more like a pizza. The taste was good so I won't knock it completely, but I wouldn't be calling that a flatbread. Service was great, just a shame the food doesn't live up to expectations. I'd probably stick to the wine and charcuterie which were the best things I had.
