I was immediately seated by a window. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Location is everything and this place is right off the slopes. BC was dead when we were there last week due to the lack of snow and I feel like most places were really missing the guests they usually have and not focusing a ton of guests that were there. In this scenario that wasn't the case, our waitress was very attentive. My kid ordered a burger, I ordered a chicken wrap. Both were OK-not fantastic but as ordered and we didn't get sick. The food wasn't fantastic but the location and staff were great so we would potentially try again if in the area. read more

Dinner Stop 3 on our Beaver Creek Conference Trip was Dusty Boot. We were able to snag a booth right on the patio that had the perfect balance of warmth and a cool breeze. We found ourselves really desiring meals that were filling, so we decided on a ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccolini for my spouse and lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini for myself. Our server was immensely kind and knowledgeable and was sure to let us know of all of the must tries on the menu.   Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini 7/10   The ribeye did come cooked to perfection; however it did not have flavor outside of meat and char. Having the steak accompanied by a compound butter or some other flavoring would have been pleasant. The mashed potatoes were cooked and fluffy, however they also required a little salt and pepper to aid them in flavoring the steak. The broccolini was very well prepared and fresh. Overall presentation was plated well.   Lemon Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini 7.5/10   I will be transparent and say that I expected a little bit more lemon flavor with my lemon chicken. There was definitely a decent amount of cream and moist chicken that carried flavor, but the lemon overall didn't carry as strongly as I would have perceived - however the meal was still good if that makes sense? Also recommend dipping the broccolini in the cream sauce - it was so delicious! read more

This place is AMAZING! And there's a reason why it's been around since long before our daughter turned 11. We've got a family pic of us here when she was 3 or so and before the remodel and it's so cute to see the changes. What hasn't changed is the DELICIOUS food items. Wife and myself had the short rib enchiladas and no joke it's the best short rib enchiladas we've ever had. Hands down!! And no... they're not paying me to say this Johnny, our server, is SUPER NICE, and just perfect. I don't know what it is .... The atmosphere, the ambient background music, the food itself, just being on vacation and having a perfect meal, but this is our high of the day. Thank you Dusty Boot! Food (fantastic) drinks (daily mystery shot, lots of beers on draft) service (spectacular) and crowd (a bit of everything, but always friendly and in a great mood). We stopped in for a late lunch on a Wed (around 4 pm) before the rush after the lifts closed. I'm gonna say this place deserves 4 stars. Service was great. We had a really sweet waitress. The inside is really cool! I love the atmosphere! BUT...and this is a BIG BUT...the place is LOUD. Probably the loudest restaurant I've ever been in! If you go early and don't have any kiddos with you, try to sit in the bar area. The ENTIRE time we were there, there were children all around us screeching their heads off lol. It's like they were birds trying to talk to each other across the entire restaurant. Next time we come here, we are gonna fight for a spot in the bar area lol! Food was really good. We started with their nachos and they were so yummy. I had a burger and it was a 5 star burger imo. Hubby had the Hot Mess chicken sandwich and said it was good but they don't put enough buffalo sauce on it so I recommend asking for an extra side of buffalo sauce when you order. The food last night was so good we came back tonight! The atmosphere is loud and fun! The old fashions yummy! Last night we had the beef dip enough we shared it and added the coleslaw. Both do good. Tonight we did the buffalo chicken loaded tater tater tots and the sliders. Sooo good and more food than we could handle. But, both items so yummy! As the quality goes down; the prices go up and up and up.The guy who served the plate said "Here your booger" I am hoping that he means burger. We were there on a busy day and the place was bustling with visitors. We were greeted very quickly and got a very nice table outside in the shade. Really liked the setting and the atmosphere there. Service was absolutely impeccable, quick and professional and none of our orders were messed up - there were 5 of us. Food was very decent, but, frankly, at the price range, I would expect more flavor and better quality meats. While burgers were good, the dinner salad was just ok and steak added to it was a very cheap cut with virtually no flavors and hard to chew. Prices were higher than I'd like, but expected, for the location. Still, a salad priced comparable to a steak is not right. What I wasn't too impressed with, aside from what I already mentioned, was the 3% cc fee - for the price range, location and semi-upscale type of the establishment, they could have eaten the cost. Or add this to the price of food - at their prices, it wouldn't be too noticeable. Not sure how many guests there carry enough cash to cover the dinner prices. Also, the mentioning of "we reserve the right to add 20% gratuity to any check" is a new level of entitlement. To their benefit, nothing extra was added to our check, but this practice needs to stop. read more

Not a lot of places to choose from after 8 pm in this area but Dusty Boot Roadhouse had a nice food menu so I decided to check it out. They do have a little bit of everything from different cuisines (which is not the best sign) with a focus on American food. The staff was very attentive and helpful! Drinks were great. Overall, it's a very laid back place, and the food was edible but lacking flavor. I probably wouldn't go back for a full dinner but would visit again for drinks and some apps. read more

We had always been intrigued by this restaurant since it was so close to where we were staying at St. James Place, but figured it would be overpriced and just okay for being right in the village. However we really enjoyed it! The location is great, near Blue Moose Pizza and the restaurant itself is casual and perfect for food after skiing. The prices were as to be expected but the servings were large and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back! Long ass day of airlines canceling our flights and then losing our luggage (Please get yourself baggage insurance) and literally everything crumbling under our feet (room not ready on time to having to buy brand new ski gear on the fly when everyone's basically sold out). I needed a shot of some whiskey before I started screaming at the poor guy checking us into our hotel. So we came here. Why not? The semi "meh" reviews on Yelp had me a little worried, but by the end of a yucky day I could have cared less where we went. This place did NOT disappoint. We started with "give me a shot of any Colorado bourbon". Which was lead to a more responsible decision of "I'll take it on the rocks". Anyway, our server set up with Stranahans Whiskey and we LOVED it! Damn!! I didn't even know! I just wanted something local and this hit it out of the park! First win of the day. We also got "Totchos" which was effing AMAZING and some carnita tacos which were super good too! I got a burger and my husband got the steak Fritas...which was a steak on some fries. Haha. Really like this little mountain resort pub and the variety of American Fare and good local beer selections. Nothing fancy - though when the kids are hungry and it's after ski - you want lots of choices and food delivered fast! DBR accommodates big time!! Burgers and salary's won't disappoint as the turkey roll up. Mediterranean plate has good variety and filling. Beaver Creek doesn't have the variety of Vail but if you are staying local for a few days this is a must stop - particularly for families. Enjoy! read more

Spent the weekend in BC and decided to check this place out as it was our first time in BC. We ordered the Shroom Burger and the Colorado Burger. The burgers were good especially the Shroom Burger but the issue is we both had stomach aches in the middle of the night which was frustrating. The kids had a quesadilla and fries and were fine though. The service was good and quick. The atmosphere was laid back. The reason for the minus 3 stars is due to the potential bad burgers we ate causing us to become sick but everything else was good. We probably won't ever go back. read more

First off, this place is not Mexican. It's known for its steak and burgers. We're back for a second time on our vacation. The Shroom burger was that good that both of us are ordering it this time. Last time I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was tasty and crispy, but the burger was out of this world. Hormone free, angus beef, CO raised. The mushrooms are wild and you can taste the different kinds they used. Beer selection is pretty good. Three IPA's with one being an imperial IPA (10%). Hercules Double and Bonfire were our choices. If you're on the fence about the double and someone else can drive, get it!! It's super tasty and full of flavor. I only got the bonfire so we're not drinking so much alcohol, and we're not driving! A porter, sours and hefe's round out the list. Also an extensive cocktail menu with top shelf liquors as a choice and wine by the bottle or the glass. read more

After a day of skiing, we just wanted a burger and fries, so found our way here. My sister and I split the jam and the boot burgers and they both hit the spot. They also had a nice selection of beer. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and laid back (some of the other restaurants in the area seemed not as casual or more $$$ so this was a nice choice for us). Got take-out from here three times across an eight night Beaver Creek stay; that tells you I liked the place. Here's a tip though; the entire entrance area is draped in plastic curtains and people may be waiting at the outside tables within this area. My first visit to Beaver Creek I saw their sign, and even saw their glass doors with tables on the other side when walking here from the Hyatt side, and could not figure out where the actual entrance was. I had mistakenly assumed the people I saw on the other side of the curtains were outside dining and didn't want to just go barging through their area. Turns out that's what you actually do have to do, just push through the curtains and you'll find the entrance. First up, pork green chili; VERY good, but sometimes fairly spicy so be careful if you are not a fan of spicy hot. I loved it, especially the spicier nights, but I know some people are sensitive about that. All their burgers are great but I especially liked the Boot Burger. Here's a weird one; the Thai Peanut Noodles were fantastic. Obviously a place called Dusty Boot Roadhouse is not where you'd expect to find Udon noodles with a great Thai-inspired sauce. Next, short rib enchiladas. Very tasty; great taste, texture, sauce, etc. Just all around hearty and yummy. Last but not least, the Sausage Rigatoni. Another great option with pasta cooked just right. However, here's a pro tip; if you're not a huge fan of Italian sausage, they'll let you substitute the fantastic short rib into this meal instead. Honestly didn't expect them to let me but hey, never hurts to ask, so I did that the second time I ordered this meal and liked it even more. read more

They accommodated us at two separate tables, complaining. The food was decent and the drinks were as well. But the manager was horrible. It was obvious the staff did not want to work with him. We stopped for dinner one night (when we couldn't get in anywhere else because it was so busy) and ordered the Buffalo chicken ranch loaded tots. They were a unique spin on tater tots.
