    Ribeye
    Shelby S.

Dinner Stop 3 on our Beaver Creek Conference Trip was Dusty Boot. We were able to snag a booth right on the patio that had the perfect balance of warmth and a cool breeze. We found ourselves really desiring meals that were filling, so we decided on a ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccolini for my spouse and lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini for myself. Our server was immensely kind and knowledgeable and was sure to let us know of all of the must tries on the menu.   Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini 7/10   The ribeye did come cooked to perfection; however it did not have flavor outside of meat and char. Having the steak accompanied by a compound butter or some other flavoring would have been pleasant. The mashed potatoes were cooked and fluffy, however they also required a little salt and pepper to aid them in flavoring the steak. The broccolini was very well prepared and fresh. Overall presentation was plated well.   Lemon Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini 7.5/10   I will be transparent and say that I expected a little bit more lemon flavor with my lemon chicken. There was definitely a decent amount of cream and moist chicken that carried flavor, but the lemon overall didn't carry as strongly as I would have perceived - however the meal was still good if that makes sense? Also recommend dipping the broccolini in the cream sauce - it was so delicious!

Everything at this place is just good. Mixed it up this time with the ordering and once again, great experience at this local joint!

Yummy short rib enchiladas (the pictures don't do it justice!!)

This place is AMAZING! And there's a reason why it's been around since long before our daughter turned 11. We've got a family pic of us here when she was 3 or so and before the remodel and it's so cute to see the changes. What hasn't changed is the DELICIOUS food items. Wife and myself had the short rib enchiladas and no joke it's the best short rib enchiladas we've ever had. Hands down!! And no... they're not paying me to say this Johnny, our server, is SUPER NICE, and just perfect. I don't know what it is .... The atmosphere, the ambient background music, the food itself, just being on vacation and having a perfect meal, but this is our high of the day. Thank you Dusty Boot! We'll be back for sure!

We sat outside and enjoyed the June weather. Server was great and they had a lot of options for lunch. Thanks!

I'm gonna say this place deserves 4 stars. Service was great. We had a really sweet waitress. The inside is really cool! I love the atmosphere! BUT...and this is a BIG BUT...the place is LOUD. Probably the loudest restaurant I've ever been in! If you go early and don't have any kiddos with you, try to sit in the bar area. The ENTIRE time we were there, there were children all around us screeching their heads off lol. It's like they were birds trying to talk to each other across the entire restaurant. Next time we come here, we are gonna fight for a spot in the bar area lol! Food was really good. We started with their nachos and they were so yummy. I had a burger and it was a 5 star burger imo. Hubby had the Hot Mess chicken sandwich and said it was good but they don't put enough buffalo sauce on it so I recommend asking for an extra side of buffalo sauce when you order. He devoured the whole thing after that. I also prefer their tots to their fries! Yum!

Not a lot of places to choose from after 8 pm in this area but Dusty Boot Roadhouse had a nice food menu so I decided to check it out. They do have a little bit of everything from different cuisines (which is not the best sign) with a focus on American food. The staff was very attentive and helpful! Drinks were great. Overall, it's a very laid back place, and the food was edible but lacking flavor. I probably wouldn't go back for a full dinner but would visit again for drinks and some apps.

    Unacceptable veggie burger

Every time I go there, it gets worse and worse and worse. As the quality goes down; the prices go up and up and up.The guy who served the plate said "Here your booger" I am hoping that he means burger. How can this place hire people who say stuff like that or served charred pieces of charcoal like this. Especially to someone ordering a veggie burger trying to be healthy. Then to add insult to injury, they charged a 3% for paying with a credit card!!!! Is that even legal?

Had a great time in BC village and the Dusty Boot hit the spot! If you're looking for a nice ski-casual place to pop in and have a burger, this is the place. I was able to get a gluten free bun for $2 extra and gluten free fries (their own frier). Definitely recommend!!

We had always been intrigued by this restaurant since it was so close to where we were staying at St. James Place, but figured it would be overpriced and just okay for being right in the village. However we really enjoyed it! The location is great, near Blue Moose Pizza and the restaurant itself is casual and perfect for food after skiing. The prices were as to be expected but the servings were large and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back! They have AMAZING gluten free buns and the waitstaff are very well educated on gluten free items. Even the tomato soup tasted homemade and was delicious.

Stranahands Colorado whiskey. SO GOOD! A very relaxed taste. $15 though-WOO$$$

Everything was "Fine". I felt that the food was kinda warm--definitely not hot--& the refried beans lacked seasoning and were watery. This is nothing I would order again but have had good meals here in the past. I will never understand why crispy tacos are served on the same plate as the enchiladas that are weeping in sauce, thus making the taco shell instantly soggy. The sour cream I ordered came in a ramekin and then placed in a separate little bowl. I would rather have the integrity of the taco shell thought about than my sour cream. Nothing like eating your once crispy taco with a knife and fork! Overall, I will be back but maybe not for lunch. The place was clean and employees were actively cleaning and bussing tables.

The portions at Fiesta Jalisco are generous, even with the small combo plates. I ordered the Chalupa with black beans and rice and barely came close to finishing it. Mom had the Beef Tostada with pinto beans and rice and I was surprised such a small woman polished off her plate. The food here is good, the shredded chicken is much more flavorful than the beef. The Margaritas were top notch tho. Fiesta offers flavors like peach, mango, strawberry, and even huckleberry. We opted for Don Julio Silver and it was delicious. The Sopapillas were ok. Not overly sweet but not a fan of the extra whipped cream topping. Another bonus was that the telly's were broadcasting the Broncos game, so we didn't skip a beat there (and neither did the Broncos!) The down side: service and cleanliness. Food on the floor, under the tables, and the seat benches had rips and tears. It was hard to find a comfortable spot to dine. On top of that, our waitress wasn't super attentive. She did not offer water refills or second round of drinks unless we flagged someone down....when we could find someone. The ladies room is handicap accessible. Unfortunately it was lacking in the necessary supplies (soap and TP).

I consider myself a professional diner...meaning I am out 3-4 nights a week, and Northside Kitchen is my most favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley. I usually dine at the bar where either Connor or Brandon are not only offering service with a smile, but are also welcoming everyone who walks through the door! Their custom cocktails are awesome, but I go for their insanely extensive wine by the glass menu!! Caymus, Silver Oak, Duckhorn, Quilt, and about 40 other high end wines are all offered by the glass at Northside! Both 6oz and 9oz pours are available. The dining staff, are professional, pressed, and knowledgeable about wine, food, and professional fine dining service levels. The dining room offers beautiful white linen covered in butchers paper, with the perfect level of lighting to see both the menu and the guests you are dining with. The dining room and porch are modern and clean. The menu items, created by Chef Noah Bender, are delicious! Hand cut steaks and Prime Rib are favs, but don't be afraid to try their pappardelle Bolognese or the fantastic fresh "sea to table" black cod or trout! It's dynamite! You will find the service in the dining room attentive yet not overwhelming. Northside Kitchen to me is one of the most underrated fine dining restaurants in the Vail Valley!! Definitely go give this great spot a try!!

Some items on the menu are still solid, but other dishes have definitely declined. I understand that it likely has a high turnover, and when new cooks come into the kitchen, the consistency just isn't the same. That's unfortunate. The donuts, which used to be the best anywhere, don't taste anything like they used to. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, or if they have changed the recipe, but I only had two bites of the old fashioned and didn't bother finishing the rest. My husband's birthday breakfast--a $16 breakfast sandwich--was also very disappointing. It came without the sausage or the hollandaise sauce. The sausage was brought out later, no hollandaise sauce, with blame placed on the new cook by the lady, running the show and behind the bar. It was essentially just one scrambled egg sandwich with cheddar cheese. It was tiny tiny, and he only ate about a quarter of it. So, we are now having a second breakfast at home. Even more disappointing than the food was the woman running things, behind the bar. We didn't catch her name, but she was unbelievably dismissive and rude, which really soured the experience. Normally, when Jim, the owner, is there, things run much smoother. He is great, and we always enjoy talking with him. Unfortunately, today was so disappointing that we will not be returning. Wh

For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.
