Great service. Chase was really attentive and great to talk to. We loved the heirloom beet salad, however, it was split for 2. We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. Came here for a family dinner after a day of skiing. Overall the service was amazing, the food was great, and the vibe was quiet but elegant. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever. read more

Phenomenal Service with Phenomenal Food. Went to Stokes & Rye based off the menu and pictures on the website. My husband and I went during off season so most of the restaurants in the area were closed or had limited selection for food. The reviews and pictures did not disappoint. The housemade rolls are a must get. I ended up getting the chicken and my husband got the hanger steak. Both were amazing choices. We were constantly checked up on by our server Sydnee and a man on the floor even helped me get to the bathroom. Ambiance and service were great and super convenient if you're staying at the Westin. Otherwise, the food was subpar all around. The truffle fries were the highlight which should not be the case when we spent $75 pm a ribeye steak. This was our second chance and it disappointed us yet again! The first time we ate here, we had a couples dinner and from the housemaid roles to the ribeye steak, it just wasn't good. The steak was super salty and overcooked. This time, we tried pasta and salads as well as the steak frites with fries. Such a let down! Even the Caesar salad was flavorless. I really wish I liked this place, but I will not be giving it any more chances. $200 for a meal I didn't like at all. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. We love this spot for breakfast! We have two toddlers, and here kids under 5 can eat at the buffet for free. With this, we are seated, then can immediately feed the littles while we order our plated scrambles and omelets! Adults can also eat at the buffet for a $25 meal + $10, or $25 for only buffet. The staff is incredible from the car valet folks to the waiters, special shout out to Andrew who has served us a few times. Stoke and Rye used to be Maya and is inside The Westin. I have no complains. In fact it's a stunning experience for us. In for three weeks of staycation and some snow activities. We decided to try the new restaurant ran by Chef Sandoval. And their Restaurant Week Offer. We went beyond their offer and ordered the regular menu because we enjoyed their restaurant week offer so much! For restaurant week, we ordered their Beef Tartare and Pan Seared Scallops with Pork Belly. Divine! Fresh! For their regular menu, we enjoyed the following: Salmon that's sashimi grade and Sakura Pork Loin that is wagyu quality! For dessert we delighted in the following. Carrot cake cheesecake and Bread Pudding. Both are heavenly but if you know me I favor cheesecake and carrot cake above any dessert! Together as one? I was in heaven! So this is one of my top 5 dessert! The ambience favors a great night out with friends. A date Night or just because. I hope your experience would be as lovely as ours. I bet it would be! Hubby and I had dinner here one night during our annual ski trip in early March at Beaver Creek. The restaurant is very spacious and bright with high ceiling. Inviting, calm with relaxing vibe. Comfortable seatings and the expansive floor to ceiling windows on one side of the restaurant offers a great mountain view as well. Our server was friendly, but service was lacking. We had to ask for water refill 3 times during our meal. This was not just our table, we saw a table with family of 4, the mother bought up their water glasses to the bar and asked for water. For starter, we enjoyed the Colorado Fondue. On main course we opted for the 52oz Tomahawk Steak and a side of Broccolini but the steak didn't meet our expectation. It tasted alright and was over cooked the way we asked for. Although our server offered to redo another one but we declined. They com us on desserts to make it up to us which we appreciated. Celebrated my birthday with my family at Stoke & Rye while on vacation. The food was absolutely delicious. Appetizers: We started with smoked oysters and house-made rolls. I could have had about 10 more of each. Entree: We ordered the tomahawk steak, which fed my family of three, and it did not disappoint. The experience was so good, and the steak itself was perfect. Sides: The potatoes three ways was flavorful, and the broccolini with the butternut squash purée was scrumptious. Dessert: While all the dessert options looked delicious, we opted for ice cream because it was shareable. Besides, what's a birthday without ice cream. I had their Valentine's Day dinner and thought it was very delicious. We started with fresh oysters, cheese and charcuterie, and beef carpaccio. Then we had surf and turf - filet and lobster for our main course. For dessert we had a smoked chocolate jar of chocolate mousse with brownie bites, vanilla ice cream, graham crackers, and a berry glaze. We had a wine pairing with each course that was incredible Our service was good and our server was very nice and friendly. Are here for dinner on Tuesday night, and the breakfast buffet on Wednesday morning. For dinner, we had our own separate menu for the small group we had. The table/room they had is in was nice - separate, but still part of the restaurant. I started with the wedge Caesar salad which was delicious. For my main course, I had the cast iron chicken, which came with a good amount of creamy polenta, onions, broccolini and carrots, which was really good. Glad the server recommended that over the salmon dish! For dessert I had the maple pecan pie - this I only had a few bites of - as it was very sweet. Breakfast is a buffet - and a great mix of fresh fruits (watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew melon), cheese and meat, smoked salmon, and assorted breads for toasting. The timing of the food and the drinks and the bussers was not executed well at all. The cast iron chicken is nothing like their website photo (attached). It is bland, not crispy or juicy, in a big gloppy swimming pool of grits. Its brocolini - uncuttable, and there was no evidence of the chili basil vinaigrette. other items: The carrot cake, not worth it. romanesco cauliflower, way too salty and not much romanesco cauliflower to other vegetable ratio. The saddest part it was sinewy and tough. We also had a caesar's salad with some unknown flavorless dressing not to mention the salad greens were past their prime with a lot of brown spots. We were really excited to check this place out based on the pictures and reviews. We were pretty disappointed by the food. We had a reservation for 8 and they immediately told us it would be an hour before we got food because the kitchen was behind, which okay, no biggie. The mango heirloom salad was less than a salad and just raw vegetables on a plate. My 8oz steak was overcooked and the sauce they had on the side was awful. I didn't even bother eating it. The charcuterie board was really good & the display was on point. While we were trying to order, they kept tell king us they were out of several things so it impacted our cocktails and what we had planned to eat. They also closed super early (10pm) which seemed weird considering the area and how beautiful the weather was. Even the hotel bar closed at this time so we ended up just going home. Best part of this experience was our waiter who was awesome and he made fantastic espresso martinis. We probably wouldn't come back. read more

Our family of 4 dined on a Thursday night while on a ski trip to Beaver Creek. The restaurant is easy to find through the lobby of the Westin. It's a nice open space (but not loud) w/ pleasant lighting. We ordered 1 or 2-ish items from each section of the menu and shared "family style." The table-side presentations were lovely and added to the experience. Service was great: attentive and accommodating, without hovering. We enjoyed a pleasant conversation with the owner. Our server, Jackie, was phenomenal and went above and beyond to provide us great recommendations, and even took my "whiskey challenge" where I gave a request of what I wanted and she totally delivered. Ambiance is typical new American, but I loved the seating. All cocktails were fantastic, and the food was great! We loved the octopus, rib eye bison burger (so good!!) and a fantastic pork loin, with a perfectly assembled pavlova at the end. The food was delightful. The service was surly, dismissive and borderline rude. The location is within the hotel and the Bonvoy app will let you make reservations right on the app. It's very expensive for what you get. The table we sat at had the full sun shining in the window and it was too bright. The waitress wouldn't lower the shades upon request until other patrons asked as well. Nice little restaurant, but I am disappointed in that they fall short on branding themselves as luxury dining with the prices to reflect - and the food does not meet that price point. We ordered the most expensive item, a $195 tomahawk listed as a whopping 52oz - fair. However, when it was brought out I've never been more disappointed. A giant bone was a large portion of that 52oz... and then our waiter cuts off giant portions of just fat. Even when we were eating it we all had giant pieces of fat on our plates. If something is going to be priced like this, it better be what I am paying for. read more

We recently were visiting Beaver Creek with a large group and chose Stoke & Rye based on reviews and recommendations from locals. The service did not meet our expectations. The hostesses were great, but that is where the good service ended: 1. Once our drinks were ordered, it took approximately 30 minutes for them to arrive. These were simple, single-pour beverages rather than complex mixed drinks, so the delay was unexpected. There was no follow-up or inquiries from the server once the drinks were delivered to insure they were correct. No one in our party was asked if we wanted refills of our beverages at any point during the dinner. 2. We ordered a chopped salad, but it was never delivered to one of those in our party, yet we were charged for it. The waitress never checked in to confirm if everything was okay or if anything was missing. 3. Food was brought out sporadically. One plate arrived nearly 10 minutes after the rest of the dishes were served. 4. The servers who delivered the food seemed to lack proper instruction, as they were unsure which dishes belonged to which guests. 5. The salmon ordered was overcooked. It was requested (and suggested by the servicer) to be cooked medium, but it arrived well-done. Additionally, the portion was extremely small. 6. The steaks were overcooked (ordered medium) and heavily coated in butter. The fries were cold, indicating that the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period. 7. We were enforced after the meal that splitting the bill among guests was only possible if done evenly. This should have been mentioned by the server at the beginning of the meal. read more

Almost nothing went right from the kitchen to the waitstaff to the food. Food was not delivered in the correct order, the beet salad had almost no beets in it, pasta was cold, table wasn't bussed and old dishes and glasses stayed there, a glass of wine ordered never appeared. Waiter told us the black truffles were from California but the server that shaved them said they were straight from burgundy!? Not to mention that instead of slicing with a mandolin they were grated and pretty much destroyed. And so on. Food is decent but they need to clean up their act. read more

We are happy to pay high prices for good food and good service. This place gave us neither. Food came out cold. Servers did not refill our waters ONE time during dinner, something so basic. No steak knives until we asked for them. When I inquired about chicken tenders for my 7yo picky eater the waiter responded with "I wouldn't ask my chef for that." We get it, you're an upscale restaurant. We regularly frequent upscale restaurants but expect the price tag to match the quality. Felt really ripped off here. Waaaayyyyy over priced. Server read the entire menu to us. Took about 15 minutes. Food was descent. Sold me on a halibut that was a "huge portion" because "fishing season had just started in Alaska". I ate it in three bites. No sides was 60 some dollars. Fiancé got the table side pasta. They mix it inside a big cheese wheel. The pasta was cold and no cheese stuck to the pasta. Was a bummer. Celebrated my birthday in Beaver Creek, and Stoke & Rye was the perfect restaurant for a celebratory meal! We arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar, sampling their craft cocktails. Appropriate for it's name, the whiskey list was massive, and our favorite cocktails were served smoked - an immensely pleasurable touch! Logan was our bartender and he and who I can assume was the bar manager offered wonderful conversation and knowledge about the offerings on the cocktail list. The wine list itself is extensive, and we were grateful to have had the extra time to review it and choose the perfect bottle. Our server Natalie was fantastic! Very warm and friendly while incredibly professional, our service greatly enhanced our experience. For a starter we ordered the mussels in a creamy wine sauce with a side of crisp French fries. The perfect starter for a perfect meal! For dinner we each ordered the ribeye steak and split both the potatoes and Mac n cheese. The steaks were cooked exactly to our specification, and seasoned incredibly well! One slight hiccup was in the butchering of the steak (several tenders present in both was unpleasant but we quickly cut around them). The potatoes were good but the Mac n cheese was really the star of the show! Hands down the best Mac n cheese I've ever had! We were treated to a dessert on the house, which was not necessarily expected, but appreciated as our dinner was at such a high price point. Not entirely sure what it was called, but it was a stunningly layered concoction of smoked whipped cream (tasted like a fire-roasted marshmallow!), caramel ice cream, and a dense chocolate raspberry brownie underneath. The best meal we had all weekend! My husband and I sat up at the bar and were taken care of by Kylynn who was so pleasant and attentive. We started with the Rosemary & Sea Salt rolls which were divine. But the Scallops with pork belly - I will go out of my way to eat here again just for this dish. We also got the potato leek soup after being on the mountain all day, and that ended up being wonderful too. My husband got the 14 oz ribeye and loved it. The first steak came out a bit overdone but they were extremely accommodating when we asked for a re-do (which we really never do) and that one came out very quick and cooked perfectly. We had the most incredible dinner here! We were guests at the Westin and eloped and celebrated our marriage with a fabulous meal. We ordered the Caesar salad, mushroom ravioli, roasted chicken, Colorado lamb, cauliflower and Mac and cheese. Everything was exceptional, but the salad needed more dressing. The ravioli was superb. We also got the chocolate mason jar and carrot cake cheesecake deserts and loved both. The mason jar dessert is so creative! Our server, Alex, made our night.
