    Braised Short Ribs

The only word that truly fits WYLD is disappointing--utterly disappointing. To start, the restaurant was clean and looked nice, but not Ritz-Carlton nice. It felt more like a standard local steakhouse than the upscale experience you'd expect at a property of this caliber. Service was the one bright spot--attentive, efficient, and without a single issue. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to matching the level of service. My NY Strip was not cooked as requested and, didn't come with any side options. My partner ordered the off-menu special, a slow-braised short rib. While it was better than the steak, calling it "special" would be a stretch for anyone with tastebuds. Overall, I cannot recommend WYLD. The food was mediocre at best, and there are far better dining options in the Beaver Creek, Avon, and Vail areas. For a restaurant located in a Ritz-Carlton, the experience was a major letdown.

Resturant is located inside Ritz, parking is by valet. We went there for dinner, this is one of the restaurants where we went over the budget for the dinner because of Ritz we wanted the experience. Our food was great , bread was yumm the outer crust was very hard to bite not sure if that's how it should be ? Either way I enjoyed it. They have good decorations for the holidays. Pretty Christmas trees all around the place. Customer service is on point. I dropped my wallet which they saved and returned upon asking around. They have good managers and staff. The timing was busy because of the holidays will go back again.

We stayed at Avon for a week to celebrate the birthday and anniversary. The whole Vail / Beaver Creek areas were not crowded at all, many stores were closed to take a break before the ski season starts in two weeks. My wife suggested to go to Ritz for lunch. We arrived around 11:40am and found we were the first guests at WYLD, our host Adele guided us to a window table looking straight towards the mountain lift. The winter Sun was shinning all over and it felt great. Adele was very helpful to give us suggestions and we ended us with Calamari's, Little Gem Salad, Bison Burgers and of course the local Tivoli craft beer. We decided the share the dishes and Adele skillfully helped to arrange the two separate servings. When the main dishes were brought up together, it was quite an eye candy and delight. It was delicious as well, and the bison burger was very tender and juicy. The highlight was actually the dessert, we took Adele's recommendation with the Pear Pudding. It came out again as a little piece of art. The peer was made of pudding, pear and caramelized syrup. The ginger ice cream was freshly made and gave a nice kick of refreshing smell. Overall, it was one of the best meal experiences on the trip and special thanks to Adele for her hospitality and kindness! Love the Ritz !

It's a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton in Beaver Creek, which means very expensive. If you interested to spend $150+ for a mean then this is not the place for you. We were celebrating my husbands birthday with family so, we came here. It was good and my squash and groans dish was the largest portion at the most reasonable price it was delicious and filling. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating.

Wyld is located inside the Ritz-Carlton and serves delicious food! My family and I tried their breakfast and dinner. Dinner came at Ritz-Carlton prices but was very worth it! The octopus appetizer and oxtail pasta were mouth watering. The oxtail pasta was a special of the night and not on the menu-- but if you are lucky to catch this special I would lightly recommend. The oxtail was tender and had great flavor and the ricotta which came with the dish was creamy and added a nice touch. The Rigatoncini is also a delicious option, creamy and rich. The drinks were well made and came quickly yet the food service was slow and to be honest even painfully slow and the appetizers were not big enough to truly hold us over. Granted, we were starving after a long day. By the end of our meals we were too full for dessert but did enjoy some truffles which were rich and decadent. Breakfast-- delicious options. Fast service and beautiful view of the slopes. No complaints. Wyld is a great option when staying at the Ritz-Carlton Bachlor Gulch!

We had never been to WYLD before but were impressed with the reviews and we were not disappointed! The presentation of each dish was a work of art and the service was over the top. Our server Will, was very attentive and explained each dish and shared his own excitement about the chef's masterful creativity. The chef came out to say hello to the guests and we happened to see the hotel (Ritz Carlton) General Manager walking through to check on things and both he and the restaurant manager stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying everything. That's an incredible personal touch!

Absolutely delicious! I've dined at WYLD for dinner as well as breakfast and can confidently assure you both meals and service were 100% spectacular. DINNER HIGHLIGHTS: - Ahi Cones - one of my favourites of all! Super fun sesame-miso cones wrapping tobiko is one starter you don't want to miss. - Crab & Avocado - I forgot the name of this one but OMG I can eat these for days (see photo). My #1 fave. - Cheesecake & Lavender Ice Cream - I can't decide which I'm more impressed about, the house-made lavender ice cream or chocolate-covered cheesecake. How about both and that's that. - Banana Dessert - this banana dessert had 3 different styles of dessert all banana flavoured. Yes plz. BREAKFAST HIGHLIGHTS: - French Toast - oof the huckleberry compote is pure *chef's kiss*. - Potato Hash - this potato-loving girl is vvv satisfied. - Wild Mushroom Omelette - seriously so good. I wish my stomach was big enough to eat it all. - Benedict - a classic and always a good choice!

Service is good, food is good. But way too pricey. If you want to try this place, try their lunch, it's much more reasonable.

Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.

I mentioned that I usually go for a steak but prefer it without fatty cuts. He recommended the elk, and I am so glad I trusted his suggestion. It was absolutely phenomenal! So tender it quite literally melted in my mouth, and the flavor profile was rich, balanced, and beautifully prepared. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts au gratin, which were perfection- creamy, flavorful, and the ideal side to complement the elk. We enjoyed some champagne with dinner, which made the whole experience feel even more celebratory. To finish, we had an apple crisp dessert with toffee, and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness. Between the scenic sleigh ride, the incredible food, and the thoughtful service, Zach's Cabin is truly a special dining experience.
