    $24 dollar beet salad

Salad was not good and lacked toppings but that's not all. I've never had a bartender (Shawna) with a worse attitude. She was extremely rude to my father the first time we stopped by. Thinking we could give it a second chance and order food Togo, I went in and ordered myself. Her lack of respect and kindness can only be described as sole-less. She is clearly in the wrong line of work. The general manager was the only redeemable thing about this restaurant.

Was in the area and made reservations as it was convenient to our hotel. I'm so glad we did. We arrived early for dinner, were warmly greeted and seated near large windows which provided a beautiful Mountain View. We enjoyed fantastic drinks, superbly made with a wonderful balance of flavor. Our beet salad and crab cake appetizers were flavorful and well-portioned. Our server was gracious, making excellent suggestions and inquiring about our preferences. We enjoyed fresh, made from-scratch rolls along with our succulent entrees. We both ordered tenderloin medallions, but with different butters and sauces which brought out the flavors of the perfectly-cooked steak. The sides were also well/prepared - an assortment of fall vegetables and delicious mushroom risotto. We split a crème brûlée cheesecake with fresh blueberries and a sauce was was a sweet finish to a perfect meal. We look forward to returning!

I felt so guilty even riding the sleigh with how miserable the horses were, but another person in our group had purchased all the tickets in advance as a treat for everyone The "trail" was complete mud and rocks and the horses were working so hard they had to stop and rest every few minutes - Thankfully, they allowed them to rest, but they should not have even been operating in those conditions! The ride was painfully rough. Absolutely not worth the $50 per person! Everything was dirty slush by mid-March, but the trail is more of a track, no wooded area, not really any views. The horses were absolutely miserable - dragging a loaded sleigh thru icey, muddy riches. They have a small paddock - I wouldn't even call it a pasture. And no shelter - Yes, these horses are content to stay outdoors 99.9% of the time, but they should have an optional covered area available at least.

Thank you to the staff that works there and the delicious spiked apple cider that kept us warm the whole way, and not to mention the s'mores at the fire pit afterwards that was such a special touch on the afternoon. These stables are great for a group of friends or family with young kids and older kids. Just an all-around lovely experience. Thank you so much for the memories.. Henry the Horse is your VIP!!

During the pandemic I understand you have to temper your expectations but this hotel was crazy understaffed. Like one person at the front desk and one valet. That was it. We had to get our bags to and from the room. There apparently was a ski valet but the front desk gave us no clue how to locate it. They just didn't know. They didn't take our skis there. It was plain weird. The signs in the hotel say no skis in the rooms but we had no choice! No one could tell us where the ski valet was. It was located in a non descript door by Christy's. We found it on day two. Also, no one could tell us where the illustrious ski bridge was that supposedly makes the hotel ski in and ski out. We figured it out on our last day of skiing. I believe it is called the Creekside Trail or something. Note the hotel is only ski in. And you have take off your skis to cross a fairly busy road. There is no skiing out from the ski bridge. The room was bigger than usual so that was good. But if the staff can't provide basic information about the hotel, given how much Marriott charges for this hotel, I can't recommend. It's just ok. Might as well stay at the Best Western in Eagle for a fraction of the cost and drive in.
