If enjoy spending an hour and a half out of your long workday and want to huddle around in line of people that wraps around the inside of the store and wait for the lethargic workers to shout your name to help you, choose xfinity. I left work early to simply return the box the broken set top box they gave me and receive a new one, and they put me in their check in line with an "hour" wait. It ended up being much longer than that. Once my name was called from the crowd and it was my turn to be helped, the guy simply handed me a new box and I walked out. I was billed for DVR's after my wife returned items and recovered receipt. I called comcast customer service and they were unable to assist. The customer service rep Tamika indicates that comcast didn't service that address, but I had cable an internet at that address for 2 years and am somehow getting billed by comcast. This is by far the most unprofessional place to be at. The lady at the entrance would keep calling customers by sweet names like if it was a strip club. I simply came to drop off the cable box and they still took 2 people in front of me. I finally went to the desk for help again, luckily this young guy quickly assist me professionally and only took 5mins. Terrible place. They did not help me at all. I waited. I had a malfunctioning Samsung S8+ and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it. They made me wait around another 20 minutes JUST to give me the phone number to call Xfinity Mobile while I was thinking they were trying to see what they could do. They gave me the number to call Xfinity Mobile ON MY NON-FUNCTIONING PHONE. I managed to call the Xfinity Mobile number from a friend's phone (because I couldn't have found the number myself faster), waited TWO HOURS on the line, but they said a warranty exchange was possible, and the rep said they could have done it at the store. They need new management and personnel working at this store. Maybe just demolish it altogether, get a Catholic bishop to exorcise the site, and build a totally new one. The stain of failure and miserable customer service is too difficult to cleanse. read more

The wait here has always been a bit excessive. I really think they are understaffed or maybe I just visit during lunch/break time? Nevertheless the associates are very friendly and greet you by name. Easily one of the most efficient in-and-out of a store experiences I've ever had. Long story short, ordered a comcast service through the phone, was told to pick up the equipment at this store. Went in at a busy time: - Went into the store to find a check in station, who got me in a que for a rep (15th person in line, so it took a bit of time). - Sat down patiently while watching sports center in a very relaxing chair. - Got called up by a chill rep who then processed the rest of my order quickly, chatted a bit, and handed me my equipment in 5 minutes with little time wasted. +On December 22, 2018 I went into an Xfinity store and purchased in full an iPhoneXr. That's when the nightmare began. The clerk entered the incorrect IMEI number and for some reason it could not be changed. I spent a couple of hours in the store waiting for them to fix the problem. It was not fixed. I returned on 12/24/18 and that resulted in the same-nothing was fixed and I was told that due to the holidays I would have to wait until Wednesday 12/26/18 and someone would call me. No call on 12/26/18. I called them the following day and was told my phone would be activated in 2 hours. Nothing happened after 2 hours and I called back. Then I was told to wait 24 hours and see if activation commenced. NO!! Every time I call I have to explain the problem all over again and another ticker is opened. I have been in the Xfinity store on Business Center Dr in Pearland so many times they know me. No one has been able to fix the problem nor come up with a viable solution.Because the IMEI number is incorrect in the system the phone cannot be unlocked nor can a line be added. On 1/4/19 I entered the store again and this time demanded a refund on the phone and was told the 14 days are up and no refund is possible. I left and called their corporate office and was told the 14 days were not up. I went back to the store and was told the computer told Jennifer, Assistant store manager, that the time was up.She was told what corporate said and she just said its wrong in the computer but she knows the computer is wrong. I let her talk to the corporate guy and of course nothing was done. Today is 1/8/19 and the phone still has not been activated nor have i received a refund. I am now calling corporate again (1/8/19) and the automatic voice just goes in a loop saying the same thing over and over. They just keep passing the buck, not fixing the problem, not giving me a refund and keep putting me off with "let me check on that". I hope noone else ever has this problem. I visited this store on Voss on 9/3/2015. I was very impressed with the service. When I walk in a gentlemen greeted me and registered my info. Few minutes later, Lacy walked to me, shock my had and greeted me. She was phenomenal, professional and knowledgeable. She was always smiling and pleasant. Before going there I read some of bad reviews on Yelp. specially people complain about the long wait. Well, if you go on Saturday then the wait is long. If they are busy then the wait will be long. Do not used Xfinity Mobile!!!!! They are not serviced everywhere and unlike most phone companies they switch up your billing without telling you. I was charged an additional 20 dollars per line on my bill because I could not acquire xfinity in Austin, Tx. I still tried to ride it out because I was told they would be coming to Austin. Then in January my husband was killed and I called asking for some time to pay my bill and they told me they couldn't help. I also had an extremely rude agent tell me that had 0 compassion for my situation. So I switched companies. I was told this was the best time to do it so I would not be charged for another month of service. Total lie, not only was I charged but they informed me that I would be paying another 215 for 2 phone lines for the next month, after I was assured that this would not happen, and I was encouraged to switch before the 1st for that reason. Even if they hear the bad info in the call they still tell you there is nothing they can do and treat you like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to use their service. I had problems with them from the day I ordered, when I was told I would not be billed until my service was turned on. (Lie 1) I order self install kit after I was told all the connections in my apartment were turned on and I would just have to hook everything up ( Lie 2) I had to wait a week and a half for someone to show up , which I was told would be free of charge ( Lie 3) only to be told I couldn't self install because Uverse was still on. Xfinity has been a nightmare to deal with. No one there gives the same information at all. It first started off with my billing after the promotional rate. It was completely screwed up and i was charged all kinds of outrageous charges without any notification. After speaking with 5+ reps someone was finally able to figure out where the charges came from and credited my account. Now there is another issue. I started receiving messages about my "data allowance", this was a first for me so i called in to ask about the alerts. I spoke to a young man and explained to him that i wast sure what these alerts were about because i was paying for the speed of my internet and not how much data was being used. The young an reviewed my account and stated that there was no data restriction and he wasn't sure why i was getting the alerts. He insured me that i wouldn't be charged anything extra and that i had nothing to worry about. The next month the alerts started again so i called in and now im being told a completely different story. This rep tells me there is a data allowance policy in place and after a certain amount of data used i will be charged for any additional data used. I explained that i called in and i was told different by a previous rep. All calls are recorded and monitored so i asked them to pull and listen to the call where i was told a completely different thing. They kept going round and round and there was no resolution. I want out of my contract with xfinity. They are over priced period...The customer service is a joke and no one is able to give accurate information. read more

This REVIEW IS STRICTLY FOR XFINITY MOBILE . I decided to try this service out in 10/2017. It started out smooth. But things became real when my phone recently stopped working. I thought it just wasn't charged. Placed It on charger two hours and when it turned on it only showed the Apple sign. So I thought ok well I'll just upgrade and buy a new phone. After I took it to Apple and they stated there was nothing they could/would do. But see I dropped ball with insurance so I decided you have two months left on paying phone off pay off early and upgrade. Sounds easy enough right? Well not so much I go to Xfinity on Voss to find out that instead of allowing me to upgrade, Xfinity is requiring me too buy a new phone out right ($749) I'm like what when I got this phone I was able to make payments and I paid each month on time. But now when I'm really in bind. I got to fork out 749.00 Reallly? There like yes. So I'm like No!!! So I take my Sim card out and borrow a phone from a friend, but the phone won't work because it wasn't a phone that they sell , if it's not a Samsung or. iPhone people, putting your sim card in another phone will not help you. They (xfinity) will not configure a non xfinity product that they don't sell. I was out of a phone for 4 whole days I had to pay someone. To fix my phone. They didn't care I was out of phone and that I had just paid off a 799.00 phone all they care about is there bottom line. Not the customer . No I wouldn't recommend this cell service to anyone. They have no knowledge of their consumers necessity for the product they are selling. They seemingly only Care about there bottom line making more money!! Learned; Make sure to get the Insurance Don't expect them to attempt to fix anything There is no credit earned for paying your bill on time monthly. They will treat you like you haven't paid your bill for two years on time & expect you to pull $799 out your ass to buy a new phone. Rather than use your payment history as your credit reference they will USE the trial & and tribulations of your credit, ( "soft pull") as a reason to deny you! This could've been easily resolved by using my payment history as my credit for a new phone. Even better xfinity could've configured the phone I borrowed to service me until I figured out how to get a new phone or got the phone fixed. (Lack of customer service, thoughtfulness of client) I got the phone fixed, but I had 85 text messages from advisors(uhd) and friends. read more

I experienced quick, friendly customer service at this Xfinity location, and I suppose that's the important part of writing this review. My main qualm with Comcast/Xfinity is that when you bring up deals you saw online the same day, the representatives look at you like they've never heard of it, and none of them are valid. Same thing with calling in. When your online, phone, and in-person deals are completely inconsistent, you end up with confused representatives and frustrated customers. If you're like me, you don't want to wait in line for hours to return equipment or set up internet. My recommendation is don't go on the weekends. If your schedule permits, go on a weekday afternoon. I am often contacted by vendors of other companies, wanting me to recommend their services to my clients. I have a LOT of clients. These vendors can make a lot of $$$$ with new accounts if I suggest their services. I don't ask for anything from these vendors other than that they provide great service at fair prices. At this point, I can not recommend Comcast and will need to suggest that they choose AT&T or another provider. AT&T even though it is slower, does actually work 98% of the time. Their TV has a DVR that can be used in every room of the house at no extra cost and I am only on Comcast internet because my son wanted the speed for gaming... he is moving out. why should I stay at these prices? I can stream Netflicks or HULU and just watch the local stations on my TV. Please explain to me why should I recommend Comcast to my large number of builder associates and home purchasing clients and my many associates at Houston Association of Realtors ( about 40,000 members)? PS MOST of the people I have spoken with at Comcast and with no exaggeration it is probably around 50 different people at this point, have been perfectly friendly and charming, but no one seems to have the ability to provide the service I have been paying for or make amends to the incredible amount of lost work time, inconveinience, complete frustration, upset, and stress this has caused me. I am furious with Comcast! I called about setting up new service on 1/24/14. I was offered a specific deal which would be less that what I'm paying my current provider. Installation was scheduled for today, but the installation dept. called to say that the deal I was promised expired over a month ago and they could not do it. The new deal would be twice the amount of the old deal. I was referred to customer service who then transferred me after which my call disconnected. Terrible customer service. We have been sitting in the house for over 20 hours over the last three days waiting for service technicians to install. Repeated reschedules with no explanation. Comcast has never called us to explain the problem. Our calls to them are answer by a call center in Asia by a person who can not talk to anyone in the US. We finally gave up and called AT&T. It is a slower service, but at least you can get them to show up. I would strongly recommend against using Comcast. They will not change until there is some other competitor in the high speed internet market. read more

In the past, I have had real problems with every aspect of Comcast/xfinity.. Paying my bill every month was a very complicated process and my cable and Internet boxes would always fail.. Dealing with someone from India to help was also a very negative experience.. But I must say that they have changed in a major way, focusing on the customer rather then profits...
