I've had Ezee fiber for a few years now and honestly it's been the best service I've had in decades. The price was great and actually doubled my speed while cutting my bill in half. Customer service was great when I installed a few years ago and even now when I called in with questions regarding my bill. The service agent seemed incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was asking. I wish I had gotten his name but I am grateful to have had him. I'm giving them 2 stars because Darryl Reese, our salesman was very nice, professional and helpful. And our download and upload speeds are good. However, I'm not at all happy with John Wilson. We had to file a claim because the installer ran into an HVAC wire in our attic. It was a Saturday afternoon. So we had to pay a weekend AC service call which was expensive. John Wilson denied the claim stating that the installer didn't run into a wire when we knew he did. Our AC starting blowing hot air right after the the installer came out of the attic. Moral of the story...if you choose Ezee Fiber, don't let the installer go in your attic. read more

Then do a double take and realize this company is a scam. They sent Hellen Keller to my neighborhood, broke 10 water lines, including a main in a 6 hour work day; and broke my shower heads, faucets, and hot water heater with how much dirt and rock they sent into my line. Now I've been waiting for someone to call me back for over 48 hours now, and they closed my previous ticket because they allegedly called me back when they were off the clock and closed and they said someone told them it was fixed. When these folks started ground work in my HOA I was pissed but got over it. When their marketing people came to my home several times to try and sell me the package I was not having it. But one day this month a new marketing person came to my house promising 4 months free and unlimited internet with the router for free. I currently have Xfinity and mobile Starlink so I was ok with trying it out, after all it's a trial! He swore it was fast. I signed up, scheduled my install and called it good. My install date came up and the tech never showed up, called or texted. So I reached out. This is were things shifted! The support stated that more work near my garage was needed so the install date was tentatively set for 8/31. It was then when I only received an apology for the inconvenience two days before 8/31. I got another notification stating that tech would be out to install on 8/31. The tech showed up had no idea what he was doing. Didn't even know where the wires were. He called for a supervisor supervisor showed up and had to assist him the entire day. This happen to be the same day as a family funeral and we made it clear that since they were past the install time and would need to schedule another day and time. I called in after this and scheduled for the next early 7:45am appointment. On arrival, the same tech showed up in happy, not customer friendly and when asked about running lines through my house couldn't even provide exact details as to what is going on. When he finished, he left his mess behind and took off without a word. The next day his supervisor showed up stating the line was no good and speeds were sucky. He asked if the internet has been good and we said well we have had it less than 24hrs so yes it's fine for now. 72hrs later we got slow speeds and a notification that our account was going to be charged $79.99 on the 9th. Puzzled and pissed ready to cancel, I reached out because we were supposed to get 4 months free. I got a hold of a customer service agent named John, who said again he was sorry and that he could only give me a month and had to escalate up to rest. When he called me back hours later, he had stated that his supervisors stated that they would need the video proof of the marketing agent stating 4 months free before they could do anymore. Shocked and still upset I said ok and sent not only the video but the text messages showing proof. Additionally, I asked for them to schedule repair as speeds were super slow. After hanging up and 24hrs went by I got another auto withdrawal reminder. Still today 9/5 I have not response and no service repair and no credit. Me and my husband are giving them till 9/11 before we cancel and activate our Starklink at full service in home and mobile. This. Company is no better than CenturyLink and the customer service is horrible and they lie. As an HOA board member in this community. Ezee caused me to go from 4 high speed independent hard wired zones clocking 700M speeds to 1 clocking just over 1G. My wife's work from home area is now dead. My living room is dead too. The only hard wired zone is my office. This is such shoddy workmanship. And to get this I had to coach the tech to make his connections through the junction box and not outside. He was going to drill holes in my wall when the house is already prewired for internet. It would have taken the tech an extra 5 minutes to do the job right. Dont believe the hype. Ezee is depending on outsourced techs who have 0 incentive to do an excellent job. All they jave to show is that the wifi signal gets to their provided router. I am honestly quite shocked by all the positive reviews on Google since our experience was the opposite of the raving reviews. It makes me wonder if most of the reviews are fake. Many sound a little too (similar, over the top, naming too many names, etc.) I'm giving a generous 2-stars. Speed, price and Justin boosted the 1-star service. Ezee fiber was installed in our neighborhood last year. After numerous mailings and our less than fast current internet (which was also more expensive), we finally made the decision to switch to Ezee. They scheduled a technician (a sub contractor for Ezee) to install and he arrived on time. Unfortunately, I felt a bit bullied by this guy. Our current router is installed in our downstairs living room. This guy insisted it had to be upstairs and the best spot was IN OUR CHILD'S BEDROOM. No. After much debate, we finally agreed to the upstairs game room. The only "problem" was that the access from the street was on the other side of the house. (So yes, it would have been much easier just putting it in our young child's bedroom.) A different worker arrived and had to tunnel under the driveway and dig a trench across our yard to put it on the other side of the house. At that point everything was hooked up but we were given ZERO instruction on how to even start up. Our other provider walked us through setting up networks, passwords, etc. My husband had to call and was told to set up an app. So we connect to the internet and it literally is on for a day. Then lights on the router turn red and we have no internet. Same install tech comes back and fixes something outside and the internet comes back on... for a few more days and red lights and no internet again. This time, an actual Ezee employee, Justin, comes and fixes the outside issue AGAIN. Justin was very nice and professional. Oh and I'll add at this point all the devices in the house were able to connect EXCEPT the living room TV. Even Justin couldn't figure out why our Samsung TV wouldn't connect. It was a mystery and basically we had to either buy a new TV or connect it via Ethernet. Well, luckily we didn't have to do either of those because the internet went out AGAIN a few days later and we decided to cancel. Out of the month we had Ezee, we probably only had internet for 1 week out of the month. Yes, their speeds were fast but if you work from home, the outages (not widespread community outages but from whatever kept breaking at the house connection) is unacceptable. The silver lining is that throughout this whole nightmare, was that we actually kept our other service provider running "just in case" and we relied on them when Ezee was down and you know, so we could watch our living room TV. Soooo, dealing with Ezee was a big waste of time and returning the equipment was a hassle too and that's a whole other story. Needless to say, equipment returned and we are done with Ezee. read more

Ezra Fiver had been to the house several times and this time they caught me in a good state of mind. I liked the sales guy and had a good offer. Much cheaper than Xfinity and twice the speed. Besides, we stream everything so no issues with what they don't provide. That was on Thursday. We scheduled the preliminary work- running their box to the outside of the house. And then the install. Both guys that came out for the two visits were on time, respectful of property and did their work quickly. Once the equipment was installed, the service tech walked me thru everything, super simple to get up n running. Before we signed up for service, a representative came to our home approximately 10-12 times to encourage us to switch. Unfortunately, our experience since becoming a customer has been very disappointing. We have only had the service for about two months, and it has already gone out or become intermittent approximately eight times. Most recently, our service has been completely out since Sunday. A technician came yesterday and informed us that a cable had been cut and that someone would return to resolve the issue. However, no one came back until today. When a technician finally arrived today, he was unable to complete the repair because he did not have the correct equipment but he did not let us know I had to call them for the 20th time for an update. We have now been told that another technician will arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. I work from home, so these repeated outages have caused a significant inconvenience and have affected my ability to do my job. The lack of reliable service, poor communication, and repeated delays are unacceptable and unprofessional. My neighborhood was replacing drainage pipes and cut my line one day and the AMAZING customer service set an appt for me the next day from 7 am to 10 am by 8am the rep was at my door and again AMAZING customer service let me know the line was cut and right then and there in front of me scheduled them to come to my address as there were other customers in my neighborhood that they were AMAZINGLY servicing as well. He let me know they would be coming 2 days later the neighborhood is still tearing the street up they will not be done soon. 2 reps came and they found a way for me to still have service while the neighborhood is still being updated today . They've dug multiple times on our street and every time they've either cut Xfinity internet line or broke the water line, digging without having anything marked ahead of time. They show up in unmarked vehicles and nobody's wearing a uniform. I only know it's Ezee Fiber by asking them who they work for. Today Lynette on the phone claimed the water company broke the line. When I informed her that Ezee Fiber tech admitted earlier that his crew broke the line, she admitted it and said the water company just repaired it, but did it incorrectly. Later, I learned that water company actually fixed it three times for them. After the first two fixes, they broke it 2nd time when filling in the hole, then after another repair broke it a 3rd time by throwing the meter enclosure box into the hole. She also claimed they request water/sewer to be marked but the water company told them they don't mark anything, which is also incorrect because I called the water company and they provide water and sewer markings upon request. Multiple lies from Lynette on the phone trying to avoid responsibility. According to the water company, their practice is to take the charges from the water company, back-charge it to their poor subcontractors (who were told to complete the job without being provided with water/sewer line markings), run them out of business, and move on to another sub. Speaking to EZEE Fiber: Do not dig on our street without knowing what you're doing again! The damages you've caused are not only yard, sprinklers, and service outage, but also health damage on our family member who's a cancer patient and now without clean running water for post-op care and cleaning of medical devices. read more

I called ez fiber about puncturing my power cable s neoprene from my transformer . No I have a leg out center point came and said the cable has been damaged by them digging. They said they did not dig in my back yard only the front but I have proof of there cable in my back yard directly above the power cable they damaged and caused a short. Center came out a 2nd time and said the same thing that the cable neoprene was damagedband the water was let in the cable. I called and they still have not come out to fix this. My review is based on the behavior of a technician who was providing service to a neighbor. The technician left their music playing loudly for the duration of their service call, in a neighborhood where people work night shift, or from home, and where loud music is a violation of city ordinance for a reason. After 20-30 minutes, I spotted the tech near their truck, so I walked outside and asked him kindly if he could turn the music down. He looked at me and said, "No." The mistreatment did not stop there. He went on to verbally harass me as I was walking back inside, stating "You're in your house. Don't be a Karen." It is baffling that this would be the way a man in an Ezee fiber uniform, driving an Ezee fiber truck, would treat a woman, or any human for that matter, who makes a reasonable request. If this is how the employees believe they are allowed to treat people, I have to believe that there is not a culture of customer service within the company. Based on Yelp reviews and many 1 and 2 star Google reviews, there seems to be a pattern of poor customer service, and this is an extension of that. read more

I've had Ezee fiber for a few months now and I've had no problems until this week, unfortunately I am considering switching companies again because I've been without internet service for almost 3 days now, a technician set up my neighbors WiFi but cut the line to ours, I took off of work early for my appointment with the technician today and he ended up coming 2 hours early with no call or text, luckily my husband hadn't left for work yet, the guy proceeded to tell my husband the line had been cut and that they'd be back to fix it so I got home at 4:30 my appointment was set 5-8pm at 7:15 no calls no text nothing, I called dispatch and they were just as confused as to why the technician wasn't there to fix my internet. I sat in the phone for 40+ minutes as the dispatch did his best to help but he couldn't get ahold of anyone so here we are heading into another day of no internet and i honestly would care if I didn't have so much school work to catch up on since I've been without WiFi. read more

Top Notch customer service! The internet service is fine. I'm not sure they are providing special internet service the others aren't - But the 5 stars isn't because I get internet. It's because I talked to a human to get great customer service. They told me years ago tax was included and - as long as I pay my bill & don't cancel service, I will have the same price forever. All has been true. Other internet/cable companies have always promised this, but this is the first that actually kept that promise. I told them - as long as they don't jack with my bill every 6 to 12 months like AT&T, Xfinitiy and all the others always do, I will likely never leave. They have not given me a reason to go shopping. Years later, I call to find out if there are any promotions to upgrade/speed up my service and they did it for free -- Just for being a loyal customer. I signed up for this new service. Hoping to dump Comcast/Xfinity after a couple decades. Their install people relentlessly kept calling me to set an appointment after I told them I'll let them know when I will be available. Then after I scheduled the install, they were a no show no call. I had to phone the sales rep to have him straighten the situation out. We reset the appointment. When an installer arrived he had no ID, had no uniform on, truck had no EZ markings and he wanted to enter my home. In Texas the homeowner would pull out a gun on the spot. Needless to say I sent him on his way. He said he just started and had little training but had worked for Xfinity prior. The manager called to apologize but so what. I was concerned about the change over but found it was seamless. ezee Fiber has less expensive plans for some of the same speeds and I wanted to change over. Did an online chat with Kathia and received excellent service. I was offered a good deal to change my plan and keep the same monthly life time amount but received an upgrade in speed. Beware of Property Damage and Poor Customer Service Ezee Fiber came out to install service at my home in Houston two weeks ago. During the install, the technician accidentally drilled a hole straight through my wall--right where my TV goes. He acknowledged the damage and initially said he would take care of it. Later, he changed his story and told me to find someone to fix it and send him the bill. I told him I didn't have time to handle repairs for damage he caused and that Ezee Fiber should be responsible. Since then, I've been going in circles--escalation emails, voicemails, claims filed, and even hung up on multiple times. Two weeks later, the hole is still there, and nothing has been resolved. The internet speed is fine (took about a week to "burn in" and stabilize), but be warned: if they damage your home, you're likely on your own. Check the attached photos to see what I'm dealing with. Yes, the price is cheap. But so is everything else about this company, I suspect they're running on a shoestring budget. They're incompetent and their service is unreliable. I've had problems since day one, and have had half a dozen service visits and my internet is STILL going out intermittently. They come out, replace my modem or say they otherwise fixed them problem, and then they leave but the issues always come. Their support is terrible, they claim 48 hours response time for service (which would be bad enough), but it often takes longer. Their claim of 99.99% uptime on their website is a flat-out lie, and as far as I'm concerned they should be prosecuted for fraud. read more

Ezee fiber came out without telling me and decided that there was no leak in our sprinkler system and closed out the case. I had told at least 5 people that I had to turn off the sprinkler system to stop the leak, which is why they did not find a leak. But since nobody came to my door to let me know they were here because of the leak, I had no chance to turn the water back on so that they could see the leak for themselves. Now they've had to create another ticket. This is completely unacceptable. I will be contacting my friends at the news channel for help if they do not come this week. read more

Both our sales person, Rodrick Johnson, and our installer, Ulysess, were very professional and helpful. Rodrick patiently waited until we called our original provider to find out what we were currently paying. He gave us his personal phone number to call him back. Ulysess got soaked in the rain, but waited out the rain to finish the installation. The Value is AMAZING. Our previous provider, Astound, wanted to charge us $350 for 5G. We are paying $100/month for 5G with Ezee Fiber. The speed is fast and reliable. I cannot say enough good things about Ezee Fiber read more

Ezee fiber works with a company called Blackrock Utilities. They were ripping up the parkway in front of my house. I know I have no say in that so I kept my mouth shut. I didn't like the work they were doing up and down my block, so I began looking at reviews as they started to do their work in front of my property. Of course, while reading bad reviews about their installation, they hit my gas line. Nicor had to come out to repair it. Nicor was quick and professional. They had my gas back up in a couple hours from the original outage. Now, Nicor is going to have to run a new line to my house. We'll see. If they come back and fix my lawn, I'll update this review to reflect it. I originally gave them one star and was harsher in my review, but so far they have been following up on the lawn repairs at my house and the surrounding properties. *Update - Ezee Fiber has reached out already, which is promising. **Update 2 - They showed up yesterday to check on my lawn repairs. Some looked good to ok, but a couple were looking bad. BUT, to their credit, they put down some fresh soil, seed and cover in the spots that needed more help. Initial fiber deployment was done by subcontractors caused some chaos in our neighborhood, but despite this, my dad & I decided to get 1 gig service. On January 5th, a team from Ezee Fiber came to the house to run the fiber line from our front yard. I showed one of the team members where I wanted to run the line and he and his team did the rest. The one team member that I was talking to was professional and very easy to deal with. The team also took the time to bury the lines and did not cause any damage to the yard or the back of the house where the fiber box was installed. On January 9th, the final install occurred. The tech showed up an hour early before the 1pm start of the two hour install window. The install tech ran the cable from the fiber box to my room, which is on the second floor of the house. A hole had to be drilled through the wall so that a fiber ouitlet could be installed. FIber was then run into my room and then connected to the router and ONT (Optical Network Terminal). All this work was completed within an hour and I was up and running with my 1gig service. After a rocky start, Ezee Fiber came through. read more

So due to their incompetence and lack of customer service and inability to fix a problem they created.
