I really have loved and supported this spot. But the last few times I've gone I was hoping for a healthier options. Their salad was expensive and not great so I was excited to see a beet salad. I literally paid 14.00 for a bowl of arugula a sprinkle of maybe olive oil and a few beets. I didn't eat but one bite since even with a few nuts and a small sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles it had no flavor. It was so disappointing. We stopped by Worth Takeaway after a playdate at at the i.d.e.a. Museum, which is waking distance. I'd heard great things about this spot, but overall, it wasn't quite my cup of tea. I ordered the burger, which was good and reminded me of something you'd get at Joe's Farm Grill. However, I'm not a fan of Sriracha aioli, pickles, or tomatoes, so after removing all of that, it ended up being a pretty plain burger. I also tried the Cuban sandwich (without the Dijon mayo), and that too lacked flavor. Between the two, the burger was definitely better. The fries were heavily seasoned, which neither my toddler nor I enjoyed, so they went uneaten--making the meal feel a bit pricey for just a basic burger and sandwich. The $3 chocolate chip cookie, however, was soft and delicious! Our friends really enjoyed their meals, especially the mac and cheese. We arrived on a Tuesday around 4 and it wasn't busy at all. There are limited seats, so I imagine weekends might be hard to come by a place to sit. They have happy hour on some drinks after 4pm. I still gave a 4 star because the staff was super nice and the rest of their group enjoyed their choices. If I visit again, I'd try something different and take advantage of the $5 kids menu. I thought this place was worth the hype. It's just a small little sit down/bar area and then outside seating and a kitchen which makes for a cozy vibe. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich and crispy chicken. The crispy chicken was the best and very crunchy and flavorful. The chicken salad was good and I would say is not a "traditional" soggy thick mix but a more healthy feel. They both came with an option of fries, salad, or chips. Get the fries they're yummy! I don't know if this place got sold or what happened but this place USED TO BE so good! Now they up charge $2 for fries which we did not know because the fries used to be included. After we got our food the waitress explained to us it's a $2 up charge for fries now but since we didn't order it with the burgers it's now $5! Which we had to now pay to have fries which came out in 5 seconds cold and undercooked. On top of that the patties used to be hand made and now they are some frozen dried out meat. It was just gross! The place is really small and is hard to find seating also. Whatever they are doing they need to go back. People are not that stupid. When you start switching food people ARE GOING TO NOTICE!! The hash was fine, similar to what I would make myself back home, chicken was roasted well- still moist and tender without being overdone. Hefty chicken portions. Incredibly disappointed and no excuse for what has changed here. We came a little over a month ago and had a bad experience with the burger but had a good one after that. Today we were looking forward to our last chance to have the burger before our season here closed. This will be the last time we come here. The burger has completely changed and cheapened. They changed the menu to not include fries with the burger but chips now. We didn't know the change and when we got the burger and chips we asked if we could get fries because that's what we always order. She said it's a $2 up charge but because we didn't order with the burger it was $5. She came back with the bowl of fries (cold of course) right away and charged us the $5. I had a lunch date here with my sister on Monday and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the two friendly ladies that were working the front. The menu was posted up on the wall and we were told that there were also detailed menus on the table that we could look over. These menus were a little more helpful and had a description of what each entrée was. I opted for a wild berry lemonade, chips, a cup of tomato soup, and a chicken salad sandwich. My sister had their famous chicken sandwich, fries, a canned soda, and a small banana pudding. We each paid about $25. The inside was poppin so we settled on two high top seats that were facing the road (right by the entrance, next to the trash can) Our food didn't take too long and one of the ladies brought it over to us. She was very nice and asked us if we needed anything else but we were good so we dug in. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious. It was packed with chicken, was very flavorful, and I really loved the breadddddd. The tomato soup tasted really good but it was given to lukewarm. It got cold fast and I really wish it would've been served hot. The potato chips tasted fresh, had a very nice crunch to them, and I liked that they were not greasy. The wild berry lemonade was delicious and oh how I wish I could have some more right now, it was sooo good! My sisters chicken sandwich was BIG and the piece of chicken that was inside the sandwich was gigantic... The chicken itself was very juicy and had a lot of flavor! The french fries were also a hit as they had a nice crisp to them and were seasoned well. The banana pudding is to die for. Its so good. It was very creamy and fluffy and the banana-y flavor is all there. Mmmm. The inside is cute and they have a few tables outside as well. First of all the sandwich is small and costed me 18$... this could be excused if the quality was good, however it was not. My friends suggested we go to this place to grab lunch at, but I was quickly disappointed because they're advertised as a breakfast place on Apple Maps. With the helpful recommendation of the cashier, I ultimately decide on the crispy chicken sandwich, and am surprised to find that it comes with a side! (I think all their sandwiches come with a choice of greens (w cherry tomatoes and vinaigrette dressing), chips, or fries! I paid $19 for my sandwich and fries including the tip. They told us our wait would be around 15-20 minutes, but either time flied cause my friends and I were having fun, or they seriously underestimated the efficiency of their cooks hehe! The food was out quickly and in a timely manner. My sandwich came perfectly as described, and I asked them to add tomatoes to which they did! My fries came with ketchup thankfully because I forgot to ask for any and there was not any on the tables, nor a station to get some at! The portion size was good, I could not finish my entire sandwich. I ate half, and finished all my fries. My friend who got the Italian Grinder could only finish half of hers as well. We both enjoyed our meal! The only thing I would say is there was more sauce on my burger than I would've liked, and it got pretty messy! This is a very cute spot, they have stickers for purchase up front and I want to say novelty chocolate bars or come kind of aesthetically packaged gift up front as well. Only critique was that the chicken may be a little over cooked and I couldn't tell the avocado was there (maybe it needed more or no to have it at all). Wife and son both had chicken tenders. Also very good with the same critique of over cooked. Fries were very tasty. The Honey Sriracha sauce was a tiny too spicy for ideal, but was sooooo good. We were at the Natural History Museum and wanted something close and fresh. This was exactly what we were hoping for. All of our meals were well made with the perfect portions.
