Besides Hawaii being one of the best places on Earth. This restaurant was nothing short of impressive and satisfying. The service was outstanding our server (as well as the others) had a great upbeat spirit that radiated throughout the establishment. The cocktails were delightful and the food was mouthwatering. Would definitely go there again and recommend to anyone visiting the great island.
Wolfgang's Waikiki - Oktoberfest on the Lanai! If you're looking to celebrate Oktoberfest without hopping on a plane to Germany, Wolfgang's Waikiki has you covered. Their W Lanai and Bar are offering limited-time Oktoberfest specials that bring a little bit of Bavaria to the islands -- with Hawaiian hospitality, of course. Food: I tried the Oktoberfest Plate ($22) and it's exactly what you'd want -- beef knockwurst and cooked bratwurst served hot and juicy, paired with a generous helping of tangy sauerkraut that cuts through all that savory richness. Simple, traditional, and very well executed. The Bavarian Soft Pretzel Twist ($14) is another must. Perfectly golden, lightly salted, and fluffy inside -- the kind of pretzel that reminds you why carbs are worth it. Pairs perfectly with a cold German beer. Drinks: Speaking of beers, the featured lineup hits the mark -- Weihenstephaner Festbier and Hofbräu Maibock, both for only $10. Smooth, crisp, and the perfect complement to the hearty plate. Atmosphere: The W Lanai has such a great vibe -- open air, casual yet upscale, with that Waikiki energy that just makes everything taste better. Come around sunset and you'll see why it's the perfect place to unwind with friends. Service: Service was friendly and attentive, as always. The staff handled the Oktoberfest rush with ease and plenty of aloha. If you love good food, good beer, and good company, this is one Oktoberfest celebration worth checking out before the month ends. Impeccable service from start to finish! We made reservations for a Sunday evening, and the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted--and just as kindly sent off with well wishes as we left. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, which set the tone for a perfect evening. Our server (Aizhain) was conversational, and we definitely did not seem like just another table to her. We began with the Caesar salad--classic and sharable, just right for two. For our main course, we ordered the Steak for Two, and wow. It arrived sizzling on a tilted platter, the juices pooling at the bottom so we could spoon them over the steak for even more flavor. Generous portions meant we couldn't finish it all, but every bite was worth savoring. On the side, I requested asparagus sautéed instead of steamed, and it came out perfectly done just as I asked with just the right touch of seasoning (bravo Taylor!) The baked potato was large enough to share, loaded with all the fixings and a beautiful layer of melted cheese. Dessert was the grand finale. The (authentic) NY cheesecake was divine--subtle, creamy, and not overly sweet. My husband raved about the tiramisu, saying it reminded him of what we had enjoyed in Italy. Yes, it's a splurge, but every dollar felt well spent. Hats off to the entire kitchen staff for such a mouthwatering meal and waitstaff for being amazing! As island residents, this is definitely one of those "special occasion" spots we'll return to again.
The steak was so good. Cooked to perfection. Served on a hot plate still sizzling. Wait staff serves the steak to you. we ordered medium rare and it wasn't too rare and it wasn't over cooked either. The side dishes are a bit smaller compared to other steakhouse restaurants but the mashed potatoes were really good and so was the lobster Mac and cheese. Best dessert was the chocolate mousse cake. Tasted like Oreos. Paid $860 (including tip) for 5 people.
There seems to be some brand confusion among some. To be clear ... Wolfgang's Steakhouse is not affiliated with Wolfgang Puck. The marquee chef here is "Wolfgang Zwiener". The fellow has steakhouses in Japan; so it makes sense that he would have locations in Hawaii. (aka Wolfgang's Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener) I was drawn to this restaurant because of their happy hour menu. Here is some information, based on my visit. Note that the restaurant can change any of its policies, at any time. If you visit the website wolfgangssteakhouse*com, you can see all of the locations within the network, and the menus for each location. In the case of Waikiki, you see PDFs of the individual menus. Typically, the happy hour menu is served for those seated at the bar (not table service). It is available between 4:00p and 6:00p. You can call and make reservations for table service. However, to partake in the happy hour menu, you need to show up (no reservations taken). For my first visit, I chose the "Taste of New York" ($83.95). For a beverage , I tried their "Volcano Margarita" ($14.00). With tax ($4.62), my ticket was $102.57 before gratuities. The Taste of New York included a 12oz bone-in dry aged New York sirloin; creamed spinach and mashed potatoes; and a slice of New York style cheesecake for desert. The steak was cooked to order (medium rare); and the quality of the beef was of high. The taste and texture of the spinach and potatoes was very good. The cheese cake was good, too; to too light, not too dense. Going in, I thought an early bird dinner suggested smaller servings. However, this was a complete meal that left me quite full. And I feel this prix fixe meal was a good value. Service provided by the hostesses at the front door, and by the wait staff, was very good. The main dinning room is very nice; and they have recently opened lanai dining.
Happened to be walking by, decided to go in, not paying attention, thinking this was Puck's, only to realize later that it's Zwiener's. What a mistake. Food was average. But I must admit that the service was top notch. I ordered the Ahi seared rare. However it was previously frozen or refrigerated and literally cold inside. I'm fine with raw fish and sushi. But I'd like my seared fish to at least be room temperature inside. Furthermore there was no seasoning on it. You can see that in the picture. The Filet Mignon was fine. The peppercorn sauce was actually pretty good. The baked potato loaded had an odd choice of large diced pork belly on it. I'd rather have fine diced bacon. The fries were thick cut and fine. The cream of corn was flavorless. The sauteed mushrooms were good. Overall I just feel that a high dollar restaurant (with $$$$ designation) should be flawless and flavorful and memorable. This was not the case unfortunately.
We recently dined at Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Waikiki to celebrate two birthdays, and while the food was fantastic, the service really missed the mark. Our reservation was for 6 adults, and we arrived with our baby. The hosts immediately told us they didn't have space because the reservation didn't include the baby--even though babies don't take up a full seat. Instead of trying to find a solution, they repeated that there was "nothing they could do." We had to ask for a manager before anyone was willing to help. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, got us a high chair, and said it might be tight--but at least he tried to accommodate us. Once we were seated, the service continued to disappoint. Our server was cold and unfriendly, and the overall attitude of the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience during what should've been a special celebration. The only bright spot was the food, which was excellent. But given the price point, the service should be much better. That may be the only reason we'd return in the future--and even then, it would be reluctantly.
Been coming here for years but the last time I went here was for a friend's bday dinner and it was a great time! We ordered the seafood combo for our appetizer, steak for three, German potatoes, onion rings and sautéed broccoli. Everything was delicious and the steak was cooked to our liking! The sides were yummy and went well with the steak. I think this place has one of the best onion rings haha. Sometimes I feel like the service here could be a hit or miss but for this time it was pretty good. Our server kept checking on us and he even brought out a slice of tiramisu since it was my friend's bday! Overall, I really do enjoy the food at Wolfgang's Steakhouse! This place may have mixed reviews but don't let it stop you from trying this place out if you haven't already!
This place has gone so far downhill, it's ridiculous. To start out, we had a RESERVATION for 7:30, A RESERVATION!!!! But we were sent to sit in a waiting area where multiple parties of Japanese tourists continued to cycle through and be seated even though they checked in after us. We waited for twenty minutes AFTER our reservation time in the patio waiting area, forced to listen to garbage island versions of pop songs at the loudest possible volume on a portable speaker. After we were finally seated, I asked if there was somewhere we could store a walking stick for a senior member of our party and was told no. Keep in mind, the final bill BEFORE tip was $677!!!! Really? You don't have somewhere to put a cane?!?! Disgusting service so far. Skip forward to ordering. When I asked for my steak to be medium rare plus, not an uncommon order. I was told that my steak would just be medium. TOLD! For the cost of the steaks there, DON'T tell me what I'll be eating. YOU, AS THE FOOD SERVICE BUSINESS, MAKE IT HOW I WANT IT, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!! More disgustingly poor service. I don't care that the "server" had worked there for 14 years. Just atrocious. So, my fillet ended up being over cooked and dry. $132 thrown down the drain because the local guy apparently decided what I would get, not what I wanted. Thanks, bro. Bang up job! I've been to this restaurant before, three or four times a year. It feels like it's just been ruined by apathy, poor work ethic, and catering to Japanese tourism. For the love of all that's food based, there's a menu item called "Cream of Corn" which sounds like a direct translation from a foreign language since in English we say, "Creamed Corn." Just an embarrassment at this point. Go to Hy's. It's better food, far, far better service and unlike Wolfgang's, Hy's is absolutely worth the money.
Driving around Waikiki looking for a steakhouse restaurant to grab a bite and the only one open before 4:30 pm is Wolfgang's Steakhouse! Thank you for having your restaurant open early and for taking walk-ins! Parking is the largest garage parking by Royal Hawaiian hotel with 7-levels of parking! You can have it validated. The first 3-hours is free for Kamaaina and Military. After that is $8.00 per hour. We were greeted immediately with a friendly host and took us to our table. Our server came in to say hi and provided the menu. His name is Dakota. He's is one of the friendliest, most aloha spirit, and attentive server I have met this year 2025. We were also service by Satoko and Mattix, who were also both shared a friendly smile. We started with a variety of breads with butter. My favorite is the rye bread with the nuts then the onion bread. If I may, maybe consider serving softer butter. The bread was warm but not hot enough to melt the butter...your thoughts? For appetizer, we got the Wolfgang's Fresh Oysters on the 1/2 Shell. This was served with lemon and some vinaigrette with onions...I love the fresh oysters with lemon and hot sauce. But this would be much better if served or topped with lemon, soy sauce, hot sauce and tobiko! We didn't enjoy the strong sauce that almost felt like a sting on our throat... He ordered Wolfgang's Rib Eye Steak in medium rare. It was seasoned with perfection! He paired with the Wolfgang's Lobster Mac and Cheese. This was divinely cheesy, buttery and filled with lots of lobsters!! Super yummmmm!!! I had the Wolfgang's N.Y. Sirloin Steak in medium. I enjoyed mine with that oil scooped on top! I got the sautéed mushrooms and onions. My only wish would be if they might maybe consider making it with mixed mushrooms! It would then be so perfect! Overall, the restaurant was filled with happy customers. It was nice to see part of the street view. What made our experience even more special would be that Dakota felt natural with his service. He served with a nice, friendly smile but you can feel a little laughter in between when I made the comment about the sauce. He didn't just shrugged it off. We also appreciated that he carried a couple quick conversations whenever he would check in on us! Wolfgang management, IF you are reading this review, please know how much we love and appreciated our service experience with your staff but more so with DAKOTA!!! He is epitome of service!!! First time coming here and I was pretty impressed. Came here for Valentines dinner, and got their pre fixe menu for 2, which was $214 & was a pretty good deal. We did have to wait 10 minutes despite a reservation but they were super busy. Our server Lloyd was very kind & always checked in on us. The steak was tender and came out hot/fresh. This menu also included oysters, spinach, mashed potatoes, and dessert. The chocolate mousse was so so good. Overall I'd come here again.
The service here was incredible. Our waiter, Timothy was absolutely wonderful. We started off asking about the lobster rolls and he told us we could easily order them without chives as they are made to order. It's hard to get lobster rolls without chives or green onions. The lobster bisque was delicious but the standout was the seafood platter. There was so much crab meat.
I was able to be accommodated on Christmas without an advanced reservation because I had a chance to secure one and did not, which actually worked to my benefit as the A/C was down and it was HOT inside. I was seated outside and it was perfect. Clyde, provided awesome service. My food: Ribeye 4/5 German Potatoes 4/5 Peas 5/5 (who knew??) Creamed corn 3/5 I was very satisfied. The restaurant was staffed and ready to host guests. Thank you.
as i walked along kalākaua avenue early one morning, after a failed attempt to catch a nice view of a hawaiian sunrise, in search of a good coffee and breakfast, something caught the corner of my eye! movement within wolfgang's steakhouse? pretty early for them to be getting ready for lunch service, no? google and yelp had conflicting opening timings but looks like potentially, they could be open for breakfast??? say what? steak for breakfast? that's only in paradise! wait, i am in paradise, no? ;) a small time wandering around found popular places with snaking queues and empty places looking lack lustre. after settling for a quick coffee fix at honolulu coffee, i backtracked to check out the situation at wolfgang's steakhouse. signs of life outside! is it a queue too? nah just some group being given an intro to the restaurant, phew! 2 japanese ladies walking ahead of me proceeded in, yes, they are open! whilst waiting for them to show me in, i quickly peruse the breakfast menu and liked what i saw! let's go! wait! i'm in shorts, t-shirt and slippers! :( let's ask if they have a dress code??? was actually prepared to walk back to my hotel to change if they indeed do have a dress code BUT shockingly to me, they don't. this is indeed paradise! steak for breakfast in slippers and shorts, hooray!!! :) restaurant setting is spacious, bright and airy. and i get to choose where i want to sit? sure, near the windows but away from the harsh sun, please! service was prompt, courteous and attentive given there were only 3 diners! lol i have had wolfgang in sg before and was confident of standards and thus not worried at all about the quality of their food. just be ready to foot the hefty bill when it arrives! you have been warned. but first, coffee? nah, i'm having steak so let's see if i can get a nice glass of red wine? and of course i can! "the critic cabernet" from napa and a generous pour too! :) and then the main event! steak and eggs. a 16oz bone in ribeye medium rare with a side of eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and asparagus. if you like mustard with your steak, just ask them like i did. she was way too generous with that too! lol this is indeed a great way to start the day especially if you like OMAD and i can so see myself coming back! see you in paradise, again, soon! ;) read more

Went a handful of times during the pandemic when it was less crowded and loved coming here for Happy Hour. Great food, great service. It's more crowded nowadays so we don't eat out as much in Waikiki. Today was special though so I took my dad here for his first time and he absolutely loved it. Lush ambiance, staff was warm and friendly (especially Tai/Ty), and we enjoyed the steak sandwich, boston clam chowder, and fish and chips a lot. I know it sounds silly, but ask for the bread basket when you come here. It's some of the best bread I've had on island. read more

Great experience. It was easy to find the restaurant which made it so much better than stressing about where the restaurant is and where to park. Great staff!!! It was our first time so he went through the lunch menu. Thank you so much!!! The creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were delicious. The steak was good but not exceptional for the price. The cheesecake that came with the meal was a tiny slice and it was too lemony. read more
My husband and I went here for a fancy date night. It was so amazing. Probably the best fancy restaurant we have been to so far in the island. We ordered the steak for 2 dinner, oysters on the half shell and lobster mac. The steak was impeccable, it was juicy and fell apart in your mouth. Absolutely coked perfectly. It was definitely enough for the two of us, we even ended up taking half of the mac home. The lobster Mac was very good too. There were huge lobster chunks and it wasn't watery. The oysters were the best we have had on the island so far as well, they pull them from the shell for you. The drinks were super creamy and so delicious, we were very tempted to order more of them. The waiter was so friendly, incredibly accommodating and just top tier for service. He even gave us the chocolate mousse cake for FREE! it was soooooo delicious, light and fluffy!! The inside was romantic but we sat outside which I was very happy about. They have giant umbrellas above the tables and there aren't many tables so it's very quiet which is perfect for date nights of course. They used to have a dress code but they no longer do. I presume since after Covid. I wish it had a dress code again just to add to that prestigious atmosphere. This place is extremely pricey, we spent almost $400. But it was sooo worth it for that once a year splurge! read more
To preface my friends and I used to come here frequently. Covid kind of killed that but with everything letting up we decided to pop in for dinner. Reservations were quick and we were seated quickly. Awesome! Our drink orders and appetizers were taken and brought quickly. Still great service and the food was good! The seafood platter is always one of my favorites! Now onto entrees...we ordered the steak for two and the veal as it was recommended by our waiter Rafe. On the side we ordered the sautéed broccoli, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. Steak and veal arrived sizzling. The guy serving the steak and sides did a fantastic job! Steak was cooked well and the veal looked good. First bite, the steak was okay. The veal was chewy and tough. Thats a first for veal. We did not eat this. The steak honestly was just okay and didn't justify the price this trip. Maybe the quality changed due to covid? Here's where it goes sideways. Our server started ignoring two of us and only talking to our friend. He wouldn't address my other friend and I and would only check on my other friend. Take away boxes and drinks were directed at him for direction. Dessert menu was handed to him like he was ordering for the table though he had said nothing all night. Weird. After 15 minutes of waiting our waiter came back to ask our friend if we were having anything for dessert. My other friend asked if the cheesecake was still flown in. He must've been invisible. The waiter did not answer. My other friend asked and was told no, it wasn't anymore. We passed and asked for the check. Bill arrives and our friend that received all the attention gets the bill handed to him. Though my other friend and I had our cards on the table. Paid the bill and we left with the waiter thanking our other friend for coming. I've been watching a lot of Harry Potter and am glad my cloak of invisibility was working here. Probably one of the most disappointing dining experiences ever. The restaurant host is pretentious yet the wait staff was very attentive. Marcus gave us great suggestions. Lobster bisque was very good and it went downhill from there. The New York steak bone-in was over cooked and tasteless. I NEVER use steak sauce with my steak but tonight I had to. After eating half of the tasteless fried steak I was done. The mash potatoes were ok. The spinach was too salty. Cheesecake dessert was a no bake cheesecake that my kids could have made better. Very expensive and not worth what we paid. Marcus recommended we come back for breakfast. I think I'd rather go to Denny's down the street. read more

I know that Wolfgang's is supposed to be known for their steaks, but I personally like to go there for their appetizers and the sides! Their jumbo shrimp cocktail, crab cake, fried onion rings and lobster mac & cheese are my favorites on the menu! To all the Kama'aina and military personnel, if you spend $10 or more, you have 3-hours of FREE parking. Validations are available at the RHC Helumoa Guest Services desk from 11a-8p, 7 days a week. read more
Very disappointing 3 stars. The ambiance was great. The service was exceptional. The food... can't say the same. Ordered the lamb chops -- very flavorless, and was not a fan of the char. Lobster mac & cheese wasn't very cheesy or flavorful. Beverly Hills salad was good. Canadian Bacon was very thick and not flavorful. Tuna tartar was decent. Bread was probably was my favorite thing. Filet was solid. Portions were plentiful; however flavor was not. read more

My husband and I came here on Saturday night for dinner for our anniversary. We made reservations for 6 PM. When we arrived to Wolfgang's steakhouse it was quite crowded already. We were seated right away, but we were seated at a very small table which was out in the hallway of the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. I know they need to do the social distancing and tend to have some tables outside of the actual restaurant to achieve this, but it was quite awkward to be sitting there to try and enjoy dinner with lots of random people walking by us. We started out with an ice tea and a mango smoothie. The iced tea was your basic iced tea, mango smoothie was delicious, priced at $10. We ordered the crab cake appetizer ($27) which was delicious and included one large crabcake. For dinner we ordered the filet mignon, cooked medium and the ribeye steak cooked medium rare ($66-67). My husband stated that his ribeye was cooked perfectly, however, my filet was well done and unseasoned. It did come with a dipping sauce which was very peppery and taste, but not really flavorful. We had side orders of German potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The potatoes and mushrooms were very good. Service started initially very good but then slow down as the dinner went along. Initially our waiter was Grant, but halfway through the dinner it changed to Shon. We waited a long time to Pay our bill. Also they knew it was our anniversary, but no mention of it during the entire dinner not even wishing us a happy anniversary. Honestly for the price ($250) without any alcoholic drinks you would expect a more enjoyable dinner. read more
It seems fairly consistent that the ratings are great here and we would agree. Very attentive and great servers. The tomahawk was quite impressive and we also enjoyed the mac and cheese (see photos). Back here for dinner for a family member's birthday and as always the food was amazing along with our server Matthew! When we first checked in the hostess was a bit on the "unpleasant" side because she thought we made the reservation just on the Happy Hour menu and told me that normally they don't do that and would of just canceled the reservation...ok but like WHO SAID I booked it like that?! Not me! You should of asked me first and confirmed before telling me all that. No wonder why she ended up seating everyone else before us even though we had reservations at 6p. We didn't get seated til 6:17p but whatever. At the end she did say sorry for the misunderstanding and proceed to validate our parking...but she screwed up again and out of 4 parking tickets, only 2 were done. Anyways, despite my rant about her, I'm still giving 4 stars...to MATTHEW. read more
I came here during lunch and started with the shrimp jumbo shrimp cocktail which was very good. I then chose the classic cheese burger and added bacon. Just to let you know it's actually not a piece of bacon, it's pork belly. When I asked for it they said it's was thick slices of bacon but that was not bacon. If you like pork belly go for it but if you don't then pass on the bacon. Other than the "bacon" everything was fantastic. read more

Came here for a late valentines celebratory dinner. We had a great experience! Started off a little rocky but ultimately we had a nice time. Food is amazing and the wait between ordering and receiving your food is not long at all. We ordered the filet mignon for 2, mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, asparagus, fresh oysters, and the shrimp cocktail. Portions for everything were big and tasted amazing. The shrimp we got for the shrimp cocktail were huge! Literally as big as my pointer finger. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy! Had a great flavor but also came with a delicious sauce that was to die for. I'm not a big steak person and have tried all kinds of different steaks in the past but filet mignon is now my new favorite. Only downside to our experience was the wait in the beginning. We had a reservation but still had to wait half an hour to be seated. Once we got seated everything was great. If you ever decide to come and visit, ask for Matt or Jay. Their service is amazing! Excellent Happy Hour! Everyday from 11 am to 6:30 pm. My family enjoys playing tourist in Waikiki and this venue definitely does the trick. We get to enjoy the vacation mode and have a delicious and affordable meal for the locals. We pretty much tried all the Happy Hour menu items, our favorites are loco Moco, steak sandwich, tenderloin kebab and seafood crostini! They use QR code for Covid tracking, temperature check and social distancing measures. There's also outdoor dining! read more

Come HUNGRY and be ready to pay premium! We just landed and we're starving. They were able to seat us in 5 mins. The teen got to choose the first meal in HI and decided she wanted steak. Since this restaurant is right by our hotel, it was an easy walk. Service is great. No complaint there. The lady who served us was very nice and attentive. We ordered the two people steak dish plus lobster and a couple side dishes, corn and mushroom. Steak: we all agreed it was just okay. Nothing special. We've definitely had better. Lobster: good. Lobster is nothing special without seasoning/butter so it is what lobster is supposed to taste like. Cream of corn: we all enjoyed it. Mushroom: I loved it but I love mushroom and you can't go wrong with mushroom (can you?) Price wise, to be expected, it's pricey. Around $500 total with tips for three of us and one drink each. What we noticed right away was, there was no music whatsoever being played, which is interesting. We were one of the last patrons since we didn't get seated until 9ish. It was awkwardly silent for the space. Not even Muzak was being played. It was a good start to our Hawaiian vacation but we would not most likely return as we didn't walk out feeling satisfied. I mean let's get real, it's Wolfgang Puck. I'm not a fan of his pizza but when got steak I'm on it and you can't mess that up. I'm lovin it. I enjoyed it all, the steak, the potatoes and the corn. It all tasted good. Everything was on point and worth every overpriced dollar. Treat yourself don't beat yourself and have a meal here. read more

Our go-to is oysters, lobster mac and cheese, and the happy hour Taste of New York (bone in New York steak, mash potatoes, creamed spinach and cheese cake). Pretty good deal with all the food you get. My wife and I split all this. Sat in bar area (table) to watch MNF. Two TVs viewable in bar area only. Happy hour beers $6 and select cocktails $8. Disappointed. For the price that was paid for a "dry-aged" USDA prime rated Rib eye, cooked medium rare, it was not seasoned and did not have that "oh my god, wow, this is a very good steak" taste. I had to use the table side salt and pepper to season it. My expectations going to a steakhouse is, is this someting I will come back to for a steak that I, myself, can't cook on the good old grill myself? Answer to that for Wolfgang's is no. Bookmarked this place for over a year ago and finally able to make a reservation on Valentines Day. Despite how busy they were & how many people were waiting for their table, they did their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. My husband & I waited about 45 mins after our reservation time, but didn't bother us to much since there was so many other parties ahead of us. Workers, Waiter/Waitress constantly moving and getting everything for their tables. As we waited outside to be called, they have set tables in their little grass area which was nice and good to extend more parties and also to keep the 6ft distance per table. Once we got settle in, we were absolutely AMAZE. How fast our food and complimentary bread were coming through our table. We were seated outside and our waiter CHRIS and his partner NATE was so awesome!!! These two worked as a team and made sure our waters were filled at all times, always checked up on us like we were the only couple in the place haha. That how's consistent they were, despite how busy and crazy it was. Our food was so delicious. My husband and I shared the steak for 2, which was a lot! And side order of sautéed mushroom (amazingly flavored), sautéed spinach with extra garlic, and mashed potatoes. We also had a appetizer of the jumbo crab cocktail (fresh and delicious). And of course to end the meal, we had the most softest and mouthwatering cheesecake!! Definitely recommend getting that to share! Other than that, we'll definitely be coming again!! Celebration for my daughters 16th birthday!! Darren was our server. He was so pleasant and friendly. So knowledgeable. The last time we came to dine at Wolfgang's, it was downstairs with the sister pasta place. That business combo was not the greatest. I am so happy they reopened (apparently 2-3 days after that stint). We passed by the other day and saw that they are back at their original area!! We had to come back to their regular area that overlooks Kalakaua Ave. The Co-General Manager Brandon also came to chat with us. In all of his busy duties he made an effort to see us and discuss that "stint" someone thought would be a good idea. Seriously though.... pasta should stay with pasta and Wolfgang should stay at this area. The location makes it even more inviting. With the Covid Pandemic.... They also have dining outdoors and have made the area so relaxing and the ambiance is serene. Good job I must say. Our guys ordered steak for two. Their warm plates came out in anticipation for the medium rare steak. The steak took longer than anticipated. Jason came with another "hot plate" for the steaks. So it is at appropriate temperature for their amazing steak. How cool was that!! The service is above amazing! The food is the best. There hasn't been anything we ordered that wasn't to our expectations... well usually it's better than we anticipate. Wolfgang's Steakhouse is our go to. We have not found a better place. It's worth the drive out to Waikiki. We staycationed for our daughters birthday weekend. They made the celebration amazing and special. The staff came out with a desert platter and sang happy birthday- the rest of the restaurant patrons also clapped.... so fun indeed If you need to park - Wolfgang will have it validated for the Royal Hawaiian Shopping complex. The food was good. The service was one of the worst I have had in the US. We were party of 4, and dined on Feb 24 evening. We ordered multiple steaks and appetizers. In the mashed potato there was a plastic bottle cap (probably they keep their appetizers in bottles). I told the server and tried to take a photo of it but he took the plate and did not let us have evidence. He never apologized for the entire meal and even until we left. He said that he will give slices of dessert, but still refused to apologize. It seemed like the restaurant treats all asians as foreign tourists (we are all CA, NY, CO natives). The way he served while being rude was horrible, and not apologizing for the whole experience was even worse. If you are asian, do not recommend this place. If this is the case for all Wolfgang, I will be never returning to the restaurant chain in the US in the future. read more

This is a must when in Honolulu! They have decent lunch pricing and you still get the option of ordering from the dinner menu if you don't see a cut that you like. We ended up sharing a steak between two people and ordered multiple sides to go with it. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and the shrimp was on the larger side. The steak had a nice crust and seasoning and it was cooked perfectly pink! It was mouth watering and so tender! I always try to plan for dessert but I overdo it and fill up on the steak. Definitely will try more restraint next time so I have room for dessert read more
We decided to have a nice dinner while out in Waikiki. Made reservations using open table app. The restaurant is located on the third floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center. Enter in the center of the building and take the elevator to the third floor. As an alternative, you can take the escalators on the west side of the building. Note, there are two separate sets of escalators: one to the second floor and another to the third. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and sets a great ambiance. The hostess greeted us kindly and escorted us to our table. The server was quite knowledgeable about the food and did a great job explaining the cuts of meat. He recommended some great entrees and sides. Our appetizer was wonderful and tasty. It was a steak tomato and cheese salad. We ordered the steak for two and the lobster, with sides of lobster mac-and-cheese and steak fries for dinner. Food was well made and some of it was tasty. Let's talk about why I gave it a 4 and not more. The service was exceptional. The lobster and lobster Mac was incredibly tasty. On the other hand the fries were not fully cooked and had no taste. The steak was a perfect medium but flavorless. It had a nice crust and a medium center but without flavor. The other reason it received a 4 was due to the long wait between the appetizer and the main course. The entrees took about 45 minutes to come out and our server was nice enough to come by three times to tell us it they were still cooking the lobster and it was taking a little bit. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to celebrate a special occasion. read more

Came here for a brunch. Don't be deceived with it's nice ambiance and fine dining feels coz their brunch menu is so affordable and most items are less than $20. Wolfgang salad is a must have! It's very creative and not your usual greens and chicken. The mahi-mahi is humongous we split it to 3 as well as the burger! Servers kept checking on us and ofcourse refilling my water (as they realized i can drink 1 liter and more in that short amount of time.lol.) Great experience. Love it here. read more

Wolfgang's phenomenal for dinner, steak seafood and lamb no question - but it is also among the best hidden value for breakfast in Waikiki. About $16 for the best Eggs Benedict I've found in Waikiki. The waiters are hit and miss, mostly great. To wait at this level they learn to tag who they expect to be a great tipper, and if they tag you wrong your coffee may be filled a little less - or maybe I drink a ton of coffee. But the main bartender seems to know and will always take care. He also discussed other breakfast spots with me around the island. But Wolfgang's is unstoppable when it comes to atmosphere, the food is the highest quality, I'm surprised more people don't realize what a good dollar value it is for breakfast. read more

Great!! We just added a kids burger and a chocolate Sunday. It's a great menu at $35

if you are referring to a mobility motor scooter there is roomier seating just outside the restaurant near the entrance. service is just as good. it is a bit tight inside but it's best to contact the establishment for the proper info.

Is reservations necessary? Are they usually crowded?
Yes. I would recommend reservations. But if you see spots at the bar open, take those seats. Bartenders are nice and helpful with the menu items.
