Very displeased with the customer service and the food that was allowed to be served to us. I felt as though me ordering food was a bother for the employees. They were very short with not only me but others. In addition, our wings came out cold and dry, and didn't get my fries with my meal. When I went back to get my fries I was ignored. I like to consider myself as a frequent customer of Wings n More, but after my experience on Saturday, I will be taking my business elsewhere. When we (party of 4) arrived, the place was packed on one side and reasonably empty on the other. We had requested to sit on the more empty side of the restaurant where it was less crowded and were told that the manager wouldn't allow it. After going back and forth with the hostess, we finally spoke to the manager who didn't seem to care about what we preferred. When we threatened to leave, his answer was simply "well that's your prerogative". After having it out with him, we finally got a seat in the section we preferred (where it was quiet and less crowded). Everything seemed to be going OK until my order came out incorrectly. It took the kitchen and/or the waitress 3 separate attempts to get my meal correct and they still couldn't get it right (10 piece boneless, half Garlic Parmesan and half Hawaiian shouldn't be a hard order to place). I have always loved their pickle chips and their wings, but their service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customer base. In a sea of Cowboys stars, it's awesome to know that I'm not the only Jets fan in town! Big ups to the management that allows our Austin Jets Fans to gather on one side of the restaurant to cheer on our team. It's cool to see people bring their kids all decked in green and white, and that we all arrive (and leave) hugging and high-fiving each other. The staff know us by name and usually have a good idea of what we order each week. Our group leader, Steve, made arrangements with management so we can be there for every home game and the staff is ready with pre-poured cups of water and plenty of menus to go around. I am in love with the brunch menu as it gives my palette a break from the typical bar food. The mimosas are subtle, the Belgian Waffles fluffy, and the migas are the perfect combo of light and crispy without being burnt. I've gotten sugar free syrup with no problem and haven't had a brunch menu get that I don't like. It's good, sweet Jets family fun. Our course we chant when our team does well, but we stay in our area and don't taunt guests who support other teams. In fact, you can always find a friend of a friend in another team's gear and they are welcome into our family. We went to Wings n More for my hisband's birthday. We weren't expecting much, our kids were being demanding, and we were both a little grumpy. Let me tell you, Internet, we all left there with a smile on our faces! The service was great, our waiter and the manager on duty were very attentive. My husband's soda was never empty and the wings were damn good! We had a coupon for 25 free wings because we're new to the area, and kids meals were half price on Thursday, which was awesome. (their kids' menu items are pretty inexpensive, anyway, so that was nice). My husband and I ordered chipotle ranch, honey BBQ and Jamaican Jerk wings. They were fantastic! The jamaican Jerk ones weren't as much of a flavor explosion as the other two, but still good. My fave were the honey BBQ, my husband favored the chipotle ranch. My sons happily ate their mac and cheese with fries and chocolate milk and enjoyed looking at the football memorabilia on display. We asked to see the manager because our experience was so great. My husband told him that we'd been having a tough day, that it was his birthday, and that they had totally made our evening. I am not a wing fan - bones gross me out- but I do love fried chicken. In the strip department, I can't think of any better than WNM. I usually order at least two dipping sauces - bbq and ranch and sometimes honey mustard also. I know, I know. I get a little crazy about dipping. Fried pickles. Incredibly fast service. My boneless wings and large fries (btw, wings don't automatically come with fries, you have to order separately) arrived in under 10 minutes. This is par for the course at this place, regardless of take out or eating at the bar. Quick service doesn't mean poor quality. My wings were quite tasty, fries delicious. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Okay, I guess, beer selection (be sure to look at the back wall, before hastily deciding on a Ziegenbock on the front tap), I chose a Fat Tire. Served in a cold glass, offered in 3 sizes. It didn't taste quite right, but I was mainly there for food, so whatever. One down side? I don't feel like their hours are consistent. I've called ahead a couple times and have been told that they're already closed. I've also never been able to order delivery, so I'm not sure how they rate on that, either. My husband and his friends are crazy about this place, so I end up going sometimes, even though I'm vegetarian. I prefer this place because they have a relatively good menu for things I can eat. One time, my husband, Nick, ordered wings, flavored "hot." Partway through, he inadvertantly rubbed his eye a little. I've been to Wings and More before, never had any complaints. Two weeks ago, before the Super Bowl (I know, bad idea) I took to the internet and placed an order with Wings and More. All went without issue, and the pick up time was set an hour after the order was placed. We arrived, ten minutes after the scheduled pick time, sure that the order would be ready. We were sent to table set up in the dining room for to go orders. Where they "didn't have it," turns out they had no record of the order either. And they had no interest or time to get to the bottom of it. So we waited. After some time (20 or so minutes) I got back in line at the makeshift pick up table as I noticed people who placed their orders online or by phone after we did were getting their food. We were then sent to an actual to go area behind the bar. It call it a circus would be an understatement. Zero organization. We stand in line and wait, again. They say, "Oh, it's here." And hand us $30 worth of cold food. Why our bag wasn't brought out to the table when it was ready, I don't know. So we obviously have an issue, and end up speaking with management. We pleaded our case, he nodded and gave us the "we'll remake it, and get it right out to you," that's an actual quote. Can you guess what they didn't do? As we wait for them to remake the order, the game starts. Great. Waiting. No one is getting anything "right out" to us. Time passes. Back up to the window. "What's the name?" I inform her. "Oh, yeah. Here it is." I am beside myself at this point, it's been over an hour since we stepped in the building to PICK UP our order. Our (room temp) bag of food comes to the window. "Manager please." Another manager appears (Carlos, I believe), to right the wrong. At this point I'm ready to push the food back at him, and receive a refund. He apologizes, I inform him that we don't want the food. He explains he couldn't give a refund at that moment because the online order system isn't something or other (I didn't catch the whole explanation.) He apologizes again, in an attempt to get me out the door, he takes my name and number and tells me someone will be in touch within a few days. "You guys can come back in, we'll take care of it." I softened. I want to believe they'll make it right. He apologizes and I feel like he means it. So we leave and head home. My boneless wings? Cold. I don't write this to dissuade others from going to Wings and More, I frankly don't care. I also don't think Yelpers will read this novel, this is for the management. Hopefully someone who cares about the business will take note. We left your establishment unhappy and were never followed up with as we where told we would be. This is how you lose customers. I for fact have eaten at W'nM quite a bit. Mostly because of the NTN game system. The food is good. The bar staff is great! The owner in my opinion is an excellent representation of what I would describe as a jerk. When he is there he doesn't seem to respect paying customers. He comes in sweaty gym or running clothes and heads back to the kitchen. Please there has be some health code against that. The only reason I return is because of location, NTN and the bar staff. This establisment is literally my crack rock of wing places. Just have to have it. I go about on average 2 - 3 times a week. It is a payday ritual that we go here. The pickle chips are awesome...very generous on how many and the ranch that goes with it. They have the assortment of wing flavors, but the best one is the Chipolte Ranch, holy smokes!!! It is the best flavor of a wing ever...try it and you will agree. They have a beer size that is called the "Big Willy" that my friend is taking a fish bowl pouring beer in it, it is huge. I think the happy hour price on it is $4, not bad. The wait staff is always good and consistant. They never have a lot of turnover there. We have had the same waitress 6 - 7 times over the 2 yrs I have been here. the only down side is the TVs, not a great place to watch a game..They need to get an upgrade on that, as long as it doesnt take away from the wings. read more

I don't know how this place has gotten so many raving reviews! I decided to try it out after seeing so many 4 and 5 star reviews that I read here. I was, unfortunately, very unimpressed. Our waitress was annoying and lingered at the table several times, making things very awkward. The service itself was alright, but the food was sub par. Based on the yelper recommendations, we got the pickle chips to start. Which I expected to be greasy, of course. But a pool of grease at the bottom of the plate? Gross. Not to mention, they were extremely salty. Again, salty is expected, but these tasted like they were dusted with extra salt after being sliced up. The chicken strips were actually pretty tasty and the chicken was of good quality, but the curly fries were extremely lacking in seasoning. The garlic toast was dripping with oil... didn't even venture to try that part. We also ordered some wings with their garlic parmesan seasoning. They were just breaded wings covered in melted butter. Both of us just felt sick for the rest of the night and into the next morning. This ended up being one of those times that I try something new and end up leaving angry that I had to pay for something so disgraceful. read more

I've been a fan of Wings n More since my days in Aggieland. The Wings n More there has a really cool patio, friendly service, and good food at decent prices. In comparison the Wings n More here has no patio (a major let down since I never sat inside at the College Station location), friendly but SLOW service, and pretty darn tasty food at a decent price. We went during the A&M vs. Nebraska game and it was a pretty full and loud house. We were told there was a 10 minute wait that turned into a 30 second wait, good news there. The food was all tasty, hot, and naturally unhealthy for one to eat. I had forgotten how great their chicken strips are and on Mondays they are only .45 cents. That is a deal that can't be beat and add an appetizer of fried pickles which are some of the best and town and you have a great all fried meal for cheap. Don't expect your server to be around when you need him though. I can't say it was horrible service because nothing was wrong with the order aside from a missing gravy and our drinks stayed full for the most part but I am all for someone that checks in just a little more often to see if we need anything. The other con: they have pink/red neon lights all around the joint and so you feel like Kramer in Seinfeld when they opened a Kenny Rogers Chicken outside his apartment. It is a constant buzz and the weird lighting just kind of throws you off. If you live up north and don't want to wait 45 minutes at pluckers then Wings n More is a safe and tasty alternative. read more

Well, what can I say...I prefer Pluckers. The main reason for that is the menu. What I have eaten at Wings 'N More is good. Really it boils down to the fact that you can't get fried mac-n-cheese and most importantly, homemade potato chips with warm blue cheese at Wings 'N More. That said, I really enjoy the fried pickle chips at Wings 'N More. They are perfect, complete with Ranch dressing. We usually get lemon pepper, honey bbq, and hot wings. I prefer the lemon pepper myself and they are really good. The fries are okay but not outstanding. Since Wings 'N More is closer to my house and I can get really discounted gift certificates on Restaurant.com I will continue to dine there occasionally...when the need for lemon pepper strikes but I am too lazy/cheap to go to Pluckers in Round Rock mostly. read more

We love wings and we're willing to test out new places. The fried pickles were good. They weren't a greasy mess and were pretty crisp and crunchy...we went on Saturday and the appetizers were half off, which was a plus. Since this was our first time there we sampled a few of the sauces before ordering and they actually brought out a few wings in the sauce instead just a bit of sauce to dip celery in and try, which was another plus. I ended up getting the Chipolte Ranch and Hawaiian sauces. The Chipolte Ranch had a bit of a kick, but that was about it...more spice than flavor. The Hawaiian was a mixture of teriyaki sauce and BBQ sauce...it was ok, but the teriyaki was a bit overbearing. The wings themselves were small. And the boneless wings looked like chicken nuggets that had been rolled around in the wing sauce. The service wasn't bad. Our waitress was actually very nice. But I don't think Wings 'N More will be added into our wing joint rotation, I've had much larger, tastier wings at other places. read more

I'm now in the Austin area and my husband and I were ecstatic to see that there was one in Austin (although owned by different people, we believe). We were highly disappointed. It was nothing compared to the ones in College Station. The drink menu here was terrible. The food was ok. We always get the chipotle honey mustard tenders in CS and got the same here but it jUst wasn't the same. The ranch wasn't good. My toast was burnt. We visited Sunday around 3-4 and there were maybe 4 tables with people yet it still look 5 minutes to get a table. Not a big deal....it was just odd. This is closer to a 3.5, but as I'm grading this place for what it is, I'll slide it to a 4. This is great fried food. You'll probably regret your gluttonous binge by the end of the night, but man is it tasty! Fried mushrooms, boneless wings, cheesy curly fries, and onion rings all had their own flavor, were all fresh and hot, and really hit the spot after a long day of being outside. Refills were blessedly prompt and service was friendly enough. I love this place. They have a great American pub menu. If you want something fried they've got it. But the best part is they also provide veggie sandwiches (portabello and peppers), which really isn't half bad for a sports-esque pub serving a lot of fried food. You can get breakfast all day long (I believe) definitely late into the afternoon. I always get breakfast tacos, which are great. They have full bar so we'll get mimosas and bloody marys for brunch. I've only mentioned a few items from menu, but they have it all. My one ask to management would be: I wish they would get some better beers on tap. Would love to see Fat Tire removed and bring in some Live Oak, Circle Brewing, Real Ales, Austin Beerworks, etc. Drink Local! I don't come here at night for drinking, because the only beer I can get is a Thirsty Goat. Yea, I'm a beer snob. Life's too short to drink shitty beer. Oh, and get some tea bags! We need hot tea here. The wait staff used to be terrible in the summer, but the past couple months they've been incredible! All smiles, quick, friendly service. They are always coming by to check on your table. The wife and I have really noticed the turnaround in service here. On NFL Sundays there is a Jets group that has one section of the bar. These guys are great football fans. They've always been friendly to me and my family. They are loud and passionate, but I've never seen them be disrespectful. I usually see the same folks every week, and they always say hi and we talk football regardless what team you support. Wings n' More also delivers, even on holidays! I'd love to see them get an online ordering form, and it would be even easier to order. I love this place! My new favorite local joint since moving up north. read more
