Extremely solid chicken fried steak. I'm honestly astounded. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. Adequate portions. Comes with Texas toast, a salad and curly fries. I pass by this restaurant almost every day since moving here a month ago so decided it was time to give it a try. I had a taste for ribs & wings ‍ and lo & behold! They have a rib & wing sampler!! 4 rib bones & 5 wings with choice of flavor. I ordered the wings in lemon pepper well done. They nailed the well done part! The lemon pepper flavoring was par. No different than other wing places. For some reason lemon pepper just don't have the flavor it boasts. But I digressed. The ribs were cooked well..fall off the bone well. However the sauce was a bit too saucy and not warm. As if it was placed on after the rib was cooked. I like my sauce to have some heat to it as if it was placed back on the grill after sauced. Had the corn on the cob with was cooked perfectly just unseasoned. If it had some butter on it this review would have received another star. Also had the seasoned veggies as a side. The zucchini was delicious however the carrots and broccoli were quite large & could be cut smaller. The order to pickup process was flawless. I ordered through the Yelp app. I was informed when my order was received, cooking & ready for pickup. Once I arrived to the restaurant there was a separate area for to go orders which was very convenient. Food never really is ever a complaint... for the exception of the cold fries one time.. but replaced.. no biggie. -plenty wing flavor options -Close to the house and delivers... Cons: Okay... here we go *deep breath*... -THE SERVICE is hit or miss.... mainly miss. I have walked out due to no service within 10 mins. And have seen other patrons leave due to no service as well. Unless you are a regular or friend of the staff you will be treated like the basic bi*ch you are. (yet you CAN order pick up/take out and avoid the service all together- just make sure to check your order is correct before you leave.) -THE Bar: I don't recommend the drafts... stick to the bottle if you'd like enjoy the original taste of your choice beer. I never give reviews. And I am open minded about food. I love wings. These are the worst wings and fries shrimp I've ever had. I had them delivered via Favor. They were cold and I only live a few blocks away. But that isn't the half of it. They were greasy. I had the mild buffalo sauce. Man, it was more sweet than anything. And no traditional buffalo taste. Also, I ordered a side of celery and carrots which wasn't in the delivery. That isn't on Favor. That is the restaurant's responsibility to get the order correct. Ok so I am a little ticked off at this place! When I went there the other night I was going to leave them a great review! The trivia night was fun and the cheap burgers were huge and tasty! Our server was super funny and we had an overall great time. Here's where it goes South! So a couple days after dining in the restaurant I called to place a to go order! They close at 10 pm and I live a minute from this place. I called at 9:40 p.m. (plenty of time to make wings before close and me to be there all within 10 minutes) and asked to place a to go order and was promptly put on hold. I was on hold for 5 minutes, literally and nobody came back so, I hung up and called back. The same guy answers and guess what? He puts me on hold again! Five minutes later again I hang up and try to call back but now nobody is answering. Here is what I think. I think they placed me on hold in hopes that I would just give up because they didn't want to take my order. Then when I called back they ignored me again and then the third time were like well we just won't answer. Here's a tip,.....if you don't want to take to go orders after a certain time you should post that somewhere and inform someone on the phone instead of blowing them off. I was a weekly visitor here and ordered to go food at least once a week also! Well, not anymore, I will get my wings elsewhere! See, you've got your Wings, and then you have your More. As I'm not necessarily predisposed to get into the Wings, I've often tried the More. And it's been a pretty rewarding experience. The ambiance of this north area stopover is along the lines of what you might expect: sports memorabilia, the Put Stuff on the Walls and They Will Come bent on decoration that you tend to see. But while the aesthetic of this place might ring trite, the fare I've had has tended to be pretty darn good if familiar. Burgers with toasted buns piled high with good stuff, a large steaming bowl of chicken noodle soup, perfect comfort food fare. It's also quite kid friendly, if you have little folks in tow. While no one would confuse Wings N More for a gourmet experience or an Austin original, it'd be disingenuous to suggest that I've had anything other but yummy dinners here. Very displeased with the customer service and the food that was allowed to be served to us. I felt as though me ordering food was a bother for the employees. They were very short with not only me but others. In addition, our wings came out cold and dry, and didn't get my fries with my meal. When I went back to get my fries I was ignored. I like to consider myself as a frequent customer of Wings n More, but after my experience on Saturday, I will be taking my business elsewhere. When we (party of 4) arrived, the place was packed on one side and reasonably empty on the other. We had requested to sit on the more empty side of the restaurant where it was less crowded and were told that the manager wouldn't allow it. After going back and forth with the hostess, we finally spoke to the manager who didn't seem to care about what we preferred. When we threatened to leave, his answer was simply "well that's your prerogative". After having it out with him, we finally got a seat in the section we preferred (where it was quiet and less crowded). Everything seemed to be going OK until my order came out incorrectly. It took the kitchen and/or the waitress 3 separate attempts to get my meal correct and they still couldn't get it right (10 piece boneless, half Garlic Parmesan and half Hawaiian shouldn't be a hard order to place). I have always loved their pickle chips and their wings, but their service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customer base. I will never be back and I will be more than happy to spread the word about the service they pride themselves so much in. read more

In a sea of Cowboys stars, it's awesome to know that I'm not the only Jets fan in town! Big ups to the management that allows our Austin Jets Fans to gather on one side of the restaurant to cheer on our team. It's cool to see people bring their kids all decked in green and white, and that we all arrive (and leave) hugging and high-fiving each other. The staff know us by name and usually have a good idea of what we order each week. Our group leader, Steve, made arrangements with management so we can be there for every home game and the staff is ready with pre-poured cups of water and plenty of menus to go around. I am in love with the brunch menu as it gives my palette a break from the typical bar food. The mimosas are subtle, the Belgian Waffles fluffy, and the migas are the perfect combo of light and crispy without being burnt. I've gotten sugar free syrup with no problem and haven't had a brunch menu get that I don't like. It's good, sweet Jets family fun. Our course we chant when our team does well, but we stay in our area and don't taunt guests who support other teams. In fact, you can always find a friend of a friend in another team's gear and they are welcome into our family. I ordered the combo tenders/garlic parm wings and fries with a side order of jalapeño poppers. I was excited because it's Texas and I expect big things here. What a let down. The wings and tenders were flavorless. The breading on the tenders was soggy and the wings just smelt of butter but didn't even taste like that. I'm assuming they were seasoned with water and the parm cheese was there as a garnish because you couldn't taste a thing. As far as the jalapeño poppers were concerned, they weren't even hot but they had a decent taste to them which made them the best thing on this meal. For as much as I paid, I expected more. We went to Wings n More for my hisband's birthday. We weren't expecting much, our kids were being demanding, and we were both a little grumpy. Let me tell you, Internet, we all left there with a smile on our faces! The service was great, our waiter and the manager on duty were very attentive. My husband's soda was never empty and the wings were damn good! We had a coupon for 25 free wings because we're new to the area, and kids meals were half price on Thursday, which was awesome. (their kids' menu items are pretty inexpensive, anyway, so that was nice). My husband and I ordered chipotle ranch, honey BBQ and Jamaican Jerk wings. They were fantastic! The jamaican Jerk ones weren't as much of a flavor explosion as the other two, but still good. My fave were the honey BBQ, my husband favored the chipotle ranch. My sons happily ate their mac and cheese with fries and chocolate milk and enjoyed looking at the football memorabilia on display. We asked to see the manager because our experience was so great. My husband told him that we'd been having a tough day, that it was his birthday, and that they had totally made our evening. My family was regular to this place. Today we had the worst experience at this restaurant. The server was extremely rude to one of the member of my family. The server said: "I have other tables and you need to order now". She seemed upset about working with sour face. I think a server should be nice towards customers and be very careful with her words and how the they treat people. If you are unhappy in life don't take it on the Customers... I am not a wing fan - bones gross me out- but I do love fried chicken. In the strip department, I can't think of any better than WNM. I usually order at least two dipping sauces - bbq and ranch and sometimes honey mustard also. I know, I know. I get a little crazy about dipping. I fell in love while livin' la vida loca in College Station and it doesn't disappoint here either. We just went the other day 'cause I had a hankering and it didn't let me down. I am really impressed that their strips come to you fresh from the fryer. You can literally burn your teeth on them, they are that hot. Is that even possible? I had to have the fried pickles too. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Okay, I guess, beer selection (be sure to look at the back wall, before hastily deciding on a Ziegenbock on the front tap), I chose a Fat Tire. Served in a cold glass, offered in 3 sizes. It didn't taste quite right, but I was mainly there for food, so whatever. One down side? I don't feel like their hours are consistent. I've called ahead a couple times and have been told that they're already closed. I've also never been able to order delivery, so I'm not sure how they rate on that, either.
