Some people call this burnt. I love the crispness and this tasted great to me.

Wow! I am a foodie and love trying new things. This pizza was everything I wanted it to be and then some. It was expensive at about $28. A pie but we ate it for leftovers as well. I was super crunchy and had great flavor in addition to the gooey cheese. It was a great meal in a great environment. All you pizza lovers go get yours...

We have been wanting to come to towers pizza for the past few trips to Solvang, but haven't made it until recently. It is located in a cool tower building at the end of the city. A bit hidden unless you're looking up for the tower. Upon arrival my boys were so excited to play in the arcade which was a unique surprise! We go to peasants deli every visit to play with their arcade, but is it awesome to know there are two spots to play games now. It is also a fun was to spend some time while traveling with little. They have different games that were fun for us compared to peasants. It was also nice to have something to do with a 2 & 4 year old while they wait for their pizza. Once the food was ready, we sat down and ate. Nice, spacious seating area. Child friendly. Pizza was so good! Salad was just okay. Service was helpful, timely and friendly.

The pizza was good. The pepperoni was crispy and the cheese was plentiful. The dough was just ok. Not like regular fluffy pizza dough. But it was good. Service was just ok. We ordered at the counter and they bring it to you. Took a while to get the food with no other person in front of us. But they may have been short staffed. Parking wasn't really a problem. There's a lot behind the restaurant as well as street parking in the front. They have a small arcade area for the kiddos. I would eat it fresh as I don't think it would be good as take out. As the pizza sat, the taste also decreased over time. Eat it while it's hot.

Jalepeno garlic bread.... They were "out" of regular.... ??

We called at 4pm on Friday 8/1 to order pizza and garlic bread and they were already "out" of garlic bread, so we had to order jalapeño garlic bread instead... Employee who answered the phone was not friendly. 4/5 stars though because pizza was BOMB! I can't eat jalapeños so no feedback available on that. Great parking!

I came here to pick up a pizza for an early dinner. The restaurant was tucked inside away from Alisal Rd, just look for the Round Tower. It was pretty early so the place was empty. I ordered a medium garlic chicken pizza. The guy told me that it would be about a 15 minute wait. I took the time to do a little window shopping. When I returned they were just finishing up and boxing my pizza. I took it back to my room to enjoy. It was not bad, just the right amount of food for one person. It was a good pizza if you like garlic and artichoke.

The pizza here is the best in town! Thin crust is crispy and flavorful! The service is friendly and although we took to go, the place is cute and clean! They even have a bar with reasonable prices and good beers on tap!

Quick overnight in Solvang and came across Viking Tower Pizza Pizza was really, really good We ordered BBQ chicken, plus pineapple and bacon. Pizza crust was bomb! Next time I'll order well-done but the flavor was sooooo damn good, so was the cold beer

I love food, especially when it's a cheesy, crispy delicious thin crust pizza. The jalapeños were fresh and you can taste the difference from other establishments. This just became my new food spot when visiting Solvang. There's still more to try and have a reason to come back. The service was friendly and welcoming. The have indoor ans outdoor sitting which is perfect.

And then comes the food: fresh, beautifully prepared, and authentically Italian in a way that's increasingly rare to find. The ambiance outside was gorgeous. Here's what we ordered: Cesar Salad - good just ask for the dressing on the side as it was overdressed. Mozzarella sticks - didn't have the cheese pull I was expecting, I did appreciate that it wasn't as salty as most places, however, it was more breaded than cheese. Penne with sausage and fungi - good! To be honest it was even better tasting as leftovers, as the flavor was soaked in by the pasta. Sole fish with lemon sauce - came with pasta, my husband said it was exactly, if not more, what he wanted! He would order this again. Bread - free for first serving, charge after. It was definitely a bit on the harder side. Overall, everything was pretty okay. It wasn't memorable or bursting with flavor. It was simple and clean and that can definitely be what someone is looking for in Italian food!

I would never book an event at this venue. First, there are two separate rooms connected by a hallway. Apparently the host of the event was not notified there was another party going on in the backroom. This normally wouldn't have been a problem except the food from the kitchen had to be brought through our party. Not enjoyable when we are all starving and the food keeps being brought through our room to another party instead of to ours. Unfortunately, it gets worse: I put in a simple order for my kids: 2 buttered spaghetti dishes. The head waitress put the order in on the computer (at least that's what it looked like). Ok so 10 minutes go by and still no spaghetti. My kids are starving so I ask nicely about the spaghetti and the waitress brushes me off and says it's on the way. What made me really mad was when another kid received his ravioli that was ordered 10 minutes after my order. And we still didn't have our spaghetti! At that point I was pretty upset so I asked the waittess if the pasta was being made because an order after me just came through. Instead of admitting she forgot my order (which was obvious) the waitress gaslighted me and said our orders were placed at the same time. I was with the other person who ordered the ravioli and he definitely put his order in well after mine. After about 30+ minutes my kids just ate the bread and gave up. The spaghetti finally came out and no one touched it. The waitress didn't apologize for the wait or anything. She just placed the spaghetti on the table and walked away. I've never been gaslit by a waitress in my life. Worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. I will never come back here again.

The food feels thoughtful without trying too hard, and every dish had so much flavor packed into it. The Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich was the standout for me. The gochujang Coca Cola glaze gave it that perfect sweet and savory balance, while the snap pea slaw added freshness and crunch. And somehow the brown butter cashew butter tied everything together in the best way possible. The Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich was just as memorable, rich, juicy, and super satisfying. The Swiss cheese, horseradish cream, sauerkraut aioli, and beef jus all worked so well together without overpowering the wagyu. We also ordered the strawberry lemonade and lavender lemonade, which were both super refreshing and perfect for brunch. And to end the meal, the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely exquisite. Warm, soft, rich, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in a while. I would honestly suggest not sharing it lol. Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!

In fact, I professionally moonlight as Historian specializing in medieval English history! This means that I am a sucker for anything reminding of the time period; making the Santa Barbara-adjacent Danish city of Solvang right up my alley with its medieval storybook streets/architecture. Among the many spots in Solvang that make my heart go pitter-patter is The Good Life: a cellar wine/ale/tavern- bar. Grab your favorite wench and come along to grab a pint... Stroll down Mission Drive in the famous Danish city of Solvang and you will be delighted to venture upon The Good Life that appears to pop out of a medieval history book with exposed wooden beans, plaster exterior walls and an entrance that resides at basement level (they don't call it a cellar bar for nothing!). Owned by a husband-wife team with extensive hospitality and restaurant experience under their belts in 2012; the charm of The Good Life is instantaneous and perfect for a gal like me obsessed with this sort of thing. Prepare to be instantly transported into the 15th century! Once you cross the threshold of The Good Life, the Shakesperean feel continues but is also modernized with a glowing fireplace, plush arm chairs and high bar tables (plus bar seating) and floor to ceiling wine racks. The Good Life is a perfect ratio of Solvang tradition with hints of romance making it ideal for a casual beverage, tourist pop-in or memorable date night drink. The latter is exactly how my boyfriend and I happened to come across The Good Life as we were visiting Solvang from Los Angeles for the city's Christmas-time Julefest. We had just spent the evening making holiday memories among the city's Christmas trees, twinkling lights and sugary delights. Post Danish-dinner, we decided to wrap up our forever-Solvang memory with a drink at The Good Life. We were immediately greeted by the male manning The Good Life without any attitude or distaste towards us for coming in as he was preparing to close for the evening. If he was upset with us in any way - he certainly didn't show it! The Good Life features an amazing menu of local and international wines, beers, ales, meads, ciders, and ports that make The Good Life feel fancy-schmancy and artisan; but also, neighborhood friendly for your favorite hipster or friend next door. My boyfriend and I shared a cider (I wish I remembered the specific one but alas my memory evades me) while enjoying the atmosphere of warmth at The Good Life. Other customers sat in the plush chairs with notepads and tarot cards, an older couple arrived to cap off the evening and I enjoyed the view of my boyfriend in a medieval-Danish inspired cellar bar. The Good Life is standout at accommodating to all customers and making sure no one feels out of place. A bountiful tip as important as the bosom of a medieval bar wench: the bathroom at The Good Life is labeled as 'Office'. Don't worry, you won't walk in on someone preparing accounting books and the only business happening behind this door involves you and your private matters. The Good Life is delightful and unique but doesn't just stop there: it also differentiates itself with a truly impressive alcohol selection that allows you to be introduced to local, national, Danish and international bevies you have surely not tried prior. The Good Life is recommended for a drink on your next trip to the tourist-friendly city of Solvang. Even if you aren't pretending to be in medieval times...
