    White pizza+added sausage
    Eric R.

A birthday weekend took me here after visiting the local mission for a jazz concert, and let me tell you, this place such an unexpected delight I now have motivation for coming back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While they don't have the biggest space on the block, the smell coming from their kitchen almost made me run right to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The immense amount of personality and charm I witnessed walking inside really put a big smile on my face, as I looked at their short and sweet menu, which I appreciate for the indecisive gastronome I can be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the FOOD, lo and behold a very tasty white pizza with some added sausage fed not just the belly, but the soul. I almost licked the box with now good it was, and their dough? Absolutely showstopping. I gotta say, following your nose really pays off.

Pizza was delicious. Probably one of the best I've had. My husband said it tasted just like the pizza he would have in New York when he used to live there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio was nice and quiet, and we enjoyed it with our dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They're pet friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would come here again if we are in the area.

I could tell you all about how amazing the pizza is, but I would rather tell you that the service and experience made it all worth it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]definitely recommend sitting outside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sweetest host

Sitting here under the little hanging lights and gazing at all the cool vintage decor on the patio, neither of us can remember a time where we have had pizza as good as this one. You aren't looking at two thousand Yelp reviews on it because it's one of those 'if ya know, ya know' local spots. We wanted something with character, something that wasn't your stuffy Italian restaurant pizza. We were looking for thin crunchy crust (no drooping), like a New York style. There is a small menu of three whole pizzas, you can also add toppings on like sausage and fresh vegetables. The small menu is nice because you can tell they focus solely on perfecting just a few pizzas. Everything about the experience was as good as it gets. Wine in glass cups, homemade sauce and pizza ingredients, little table lights, the perfect amount of char on the crust - and even Mexican Coke. Waitress and kitchen staff are very friendly and you can tell you are eating pizza that somebody actually cared to make. They have great music playing on the patio area and they make their own ranch dressing. Caesar salad has beautiful gem lettuce sprinkled with parmasean delicately. There are paper plates and little packets of red pepper. We also had the homemade blueberry cheesecake to top off the meal. Both of us left incredibly satisfied and astounded at how we managed to filter out the other pizza places (we are from out of town so we do our research) and just pick this one on a whim and get so lucky. And if you manage to grab a pie here too, you'll also feel that way.

Classic pizza place. Small menu, and that's all you need. Just grab a classic box here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quant little place. Not a big place. They got some bar seating and larger seating outside. Super cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizza was just a regular thin crust pizza. The only struggle was the parking, every person for themselves.

I was finally able to try Revolver for some pizza & jazz. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly face & some Grover Washington playing on the turntable. Ordered up a large pepperoni & enjoyed the music. The pie was very thin with a nice crisp and no flop at all. They use top ingredients and we were very pleased with the overall experience, thank you!

Fun! Such a cool little place. Just focused on pizza and some cool wine and beers. We ordered a couple of pizzas and some drinks and it was all good. I would always come back for more.

Me and the man who made it happen. Vinyl records and two pianos. Awesome place.

    Ask the Community - Revolver

Is this real NY pizza style?

It is certainly closer to NY style than Chicago because it is thin crust and has a nice chew to the crust. But I would say the pizza at Revolver is more along the lines of Neapolitan / Artisan style.

I love the thin crusts of their pizzas because it doesn't leave you feeling too heavy even if you ate the whole pizza (aka, no food coma crash despite the carbs). Tried the Caserta Pizza (5/5) It's made with double flor di latte sauce base that gives it creaminess. Then topped with Italian sausage, garlic pecorino, basil, smoked provolone cheese, and Calabrian chili. The sausage was savory, and the cheese was melty and of good quality. You can taste the mild spice from the chili flakes and the herbal-ness from the basil. Add-on some of their housemade chili oil sauce for an additional spice kick. Service was professional and courteous. We had a great time and really enjoyed our dine-in experience here. We'll be coming back to try out other flavors for sure.

Hot girl pizza was spicyyyyyy, but the sausage?! LOVED ! The garlic bread? Unnecessarily SPICY (I'm a 100% Latina, who can HANDLE spice... but this was borderline unenjoyable spicy) Food was 10/10! The ambiance was chill and I loved how it looked. The ocean down the street and everyone just enjoying themselves. Customer Service ? Left MUCH, MUCH to be desired and honestly, probably will keep me from coming back again. When we were ordering, I had asked the person at register "Hi how are you going today?!" Just got responded with "good. What can I get you?" Blunt. Unwelcoming. And kinda rude. I just said ok and moved on. It was our first time there so I asked her for recommendations and she just said "everything is good" Between her responses, she kept talking and laughing with her coworkers. Not a big deal, but you can just tell when someone isn't interested in having any sort of conversation. Also due to the fact that she had her back completely towards us in the middle of our transactions multiple times. She inspected my printed receipt at the end and looked bugged when she realized we didn't tip due to her poor service. Couldn't help but notice a different type of customer service being offered to other customers. It seemed obvious. Probably won't be coming back because of service, might just do pick up because of the food! Definitely would much rather recommend St. Bibiana's pizza on Ortega! Amazing pizza, great vibe and much better service.
