    White pizza+added sausage
    Eric R.

A birthday weekend took me here after visiting the local mission for a jazz concert, and let me tell you, this place such an unexpected delight I now have motivation for coming back. While they don't have the biggest space on the block, the smell coming from their kitchen almost made me run right to it. The immense amount of personality and charm I witnessed walking inside really put a big smile on my face, as I looked at their short and sweet menu, which I appreciate for the indecisive gastronome I can be. But the FOOD, lo and behold a very tasty white pizza with some added sausage fed not just the belly, but the soul. I almost licked the box with now good it was, and their dough? Absolutely showstopping. I gotta say, following your nose really pays off.

Pizza was delicious. Probably one of the best I've had. My husband said it tasted just like the pizza he would have in New York when he used to live there. The patio was nice and quiet, and we enjoyed it with our dog. They're pet friendly. Would come here again if we are in the area.

Sitting here under the little hanging lights and gazing at all the cool vintage decor on the patio, neither of us can remember a time where we have had pizza as good as this one. You aren't looking at two thousand Yelp reviews on it because it's one of those 'if ya know, ya know' local spots. We wanted something with character, something that wasn't your stuffy Italian restaurant pizza. We were looking for thin crunchy crust (no drooping), like a New York style. There is a small menu of three whole pizzas, you can also add toppings on like sausage and fresh vegetables. The small menu is nice because you can tell they focus solely on perfecting just a few pizzas. Everything about the experience was as good as it gets. Wine in glass cups, homemade sauce and pizza ingredients, little table lights, the perfect amount of char on the crust - and even Mexican Coke. Waitress and kitchen staff are very friendly and you can tell you are eating pizza that somebody actually cared to make. They have great music playing on the patio area and they make their own ranch dressing. Caesar salad has beautiful gem lettuce sprinkled with parmasean delicately. There are paper plates and little packets of red pepper. We also had the homemade blueberry cheesecake to top off the meal. Both of us left incredibly satisfied and astounded at how we managed to filter out the other pizza places (we are from out of town so we do our research) and just pick this one on a whim and get so lucky. And if you manage to grab a pie here too, you'll also feel that way.

Classic pizza place. Small menu, and that's all you need. Just grab a classic box here. Quant little place. Not a big place. They got some bar seating and larger seating outside. Super cool. The pizza was just a regular thin crust pizza. The only struggle was the parking, every person for themselves.

I was finally able to try Revolver for some pizza & jazz. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly face & some Grover Washington playing on the turntable. Ordered up a large pepperoni & enjoyed the music. The pie was very thin with a nice crisp and no flop at all. They use top ingredients and we were very pleased with the overall experience, thank you!

Me and the man who made it happen. Vinyl records and two pianos. Awesome place.

Wow! Amazing pizza. Crunchy and soft all at the same time. Keep up the good work. Run don't walk to this place and get a white pie. Two pianos and vinyl records. Like having pizza an my late uncles house.

Fun! Such a cool little place. Just focused on pizza and some cool wine and beers. We ordered a couple of pizzas and some drinks and it was all good. I would always come back for more.

    Ask the Community - Revolver

Is this real NY pizza style?

It is certainly closer to NY style than Chicago because it is thin crust and has a nice chew to the crust. But I would say the pizza at Revolver is more along the lines of Neapolitan / Artisan style.

Sweet, creamy, spicy, tangy, all the good things. The Meatballs "Alla Vodka" were comforting and flavorful, and the Cacio e Pepe Arancini were crispy, cheesy, and exactly the kind of starter I'd want to share again For pizza, the Pepperoni was such a solid order. The chili oil and honey combo makes it feel a little extra without doing too much. I also really liked the Casitas Valley Sausage Pizza. It felt a little more savory and unexpected, but still super comforting in the way you want pizza to be For drinks, we had a spritz and the Bambi ginger mocktail. I liked the mocktail, but it definitely has that ginger spice to it, so one was plenty for me. The only tiny hiccup of the night was that I ordered a bottle of sparkling water and ended up getting a second mocktail instead. Not the end of the world at all, but I was definitely good on the spice after the first one The chocolate chip cookies with brown butter and Jacobsen's sea salt were the perfect sweet ending Chef Oscar Daniel De Santiago was so personable and attentive to detail, and that really stood out. The kitchen seemed to be running so smoothly, and you could feel that care in the pacing, the food, and the overall experience. Best seat: next time I'd probably choose outside over inside, or sit at the bar inside because I love watching people cook Final verdict: worth the reservation. Bettina feels like the kind of place I'd happily come back to, especially for a meal that feels thoughtful, cozy, and actually memorable

The pizza slices arrived promptly with a fresh basil leaf on top. We started with a slice of the pepperoni and sausage #1, which had amazingly crispy/chewy crusts, and a garlic knot which was perfectly garlicky with a pillowy interior. Later we also shared a figgy piggy, which was probably our favorite slice. The fig matched the bacon flavor with perfect balance. Finally we got a cookie to go. Amazingly crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, with pools of bittersweet chocolate, butterscotch chips and a dash of flaky sea salt. We literally walked away in a haze. We are still wondering if that pizza experience truly happened to us. We are out of towners, and even if we never get to experience that again, I'll die happy knowing that I had the honor of consuming this absolutely phenomenal pizza, cookie and knot.

Then topped with Italian sausage, garlic pecorino, basil, smoked provolone cheese, and Calabrian chili. The sausage was savory, and the cheese was melty and of good quality. You can taste the mild spice from the chili flakes and the herbal-ness from the basil. Add-on some of their housemade chili oil sauce for an additional spice kick.
