It was a bit crispy (burnt) on the top crust, it had very little taste, not enough sauce, the cheese doesn't melt and the bottom of the crust was hard and greasy. 1st time trying this place. Went to the Santa Barbara Zoo and after lots of walking we were hungry and decided to try this place out. WOW! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. SO GOOD!. The dough used is so good, perfection. Do not change that dough recipe. Besides that, the sauce and ingredients and cheese were amazing too. Highly recommend. Decently priced, good deals. They forgot to add a topping to my pizza. Pizza itself is decent. I was in there this morning, 4/27/25, and was the only customer in there. Probably their first customer of the day. I ordered the Fatte's Special medium for $33 plus one free pizza. I did not check my pizza's until I got home. They forgot to add the pinnapple to my Fatte's Special. Not too big a deal, but the place was empty, not busy. To the guy or girl who made my pizza, wake your A$$ up. You do get a second free pizza of equal or lesser value therefore I wont complain much. I would return just for the buy on get one free deal, but would not spend another $33 here just for one medium specialty pizza. Customer service is bland. No greeting when I walked in. Guy standing in kitchen asked me what I was going to order and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. Same service from the girl working back there when I returned 20 minutes later to pick up pizza. I said was there to pick up order. Another Fattes flawless victory! Pizza arrived 15 minutes early and piping hot even though we are just outside of the delivery area, we tip extra for the assist.
